A new Power Rangers team is born from the universe's star power and guided by a wizard from the past to fight a powerful evil sorceress and her minions. As time goes by the Rangers find themselves going through many battles against more evil foes which in turn calls for even stronger powers to help them fight on and defeat all that threatens the safety of earth and even beyond.

111. Sinistar's Day in the Spotlight

Chapter 111 Grand Master Sinistar's Day in the Spotlight

At Lovell Caring Center located close to downtown Terra Falls, is home to many elderly seniors. The Home's director known as Karan Carter runs the entire place, but not only that, she's also a nurse. Karan is of Swedish descent.. She is 5'8, has long blonde hair, dark brown eyes and weighs 132 lbs she always wears the same outfit because its officially her uniform, and that uniform is basically a long nurses' dress like suit, with white stockings and uncomfortable looking white boring shoes. The time now is 5:00p.m. The residents of the home have been taken to the cafeteria area for dinner.

The entire nursing home isn't really large, but it is big enough for everyone to at least be comfortable. Having only two floors, the first floor holding the main offices, resident's rooms, the cafeteria, a sort of like gym room, an arts and crafts room, a reading room, and a medium sized kitchen area for residents who are approved by the Home's director to bake bread, cookies, cakes, etc. The second floor holds one of the biggest rooms in the entire place.. The library, where residents can go to get a book, then if they don't feel like reading it in the library, they can go downstairs to the reading room. Basically the reading room is a place where someone namely a volunteer can take a few residents and read them a book of their choice.

Karan is walking through the hallways to get to her office.. Another nurse contacts her after seeing her pass the main office.. Karan stops and turns back.. She then makes her way towards the main office, when she gets there, the nurse who contacted her gives her a sheet of paper.. She takes the sheet and reads it with dismay. She says to herself.

Karan-Allright. The three volunteers didn't show up at all today.. So I guess I'm going to have to red mark them.

To red mark them means, she and the other staff have lost trust in them, and so she will ban them from ever attempting to volunteer at Lovell Caring Center again.

Meanwhile, at the old weather station.. Ryan and the others are all waiting to see if Jeremy's computer finally has an answer on what the rock really is. The computer unfortunately is still analyzing the rock item.. Nakia sighs and says.

Nakia-When will this thing have an answer.

Jeremy responds without turning around in his chair.

Jeremy-Don't know.. Its still working.

Kimberly looks at her watch and gasps.

Kimberly-Oh no!

Zelda looks at her and asks.

Zelda-What's wrong?

Kimberly-We didn't get to go to the nursing home.

Zelda groans out.

Zelda-Ohh.. I forgot.

Nakia turns to them and says.

Nakia-Me too.

Kimberly-I guess I did too.

Zelda-With so much going on.. Of course we'd forget.

Kimberly-Maybe we can still get there and help out before it gets dark.

Nakia protests.

Nakia-I think going over there now is too late. Besides I have homework to do.

Kimberly-Oh come on Nakia.. Let's just go to the nursing home to see if there's anything we can do.. Can't be much left at this hour.

Nakia takes a deep breath, she then says after a couple minutes of thinking.

Nakia-Fine.

Zelda adds.

Zelda-Then lets go.

Right now at this second, without warning, the rock bursts into many heavy looking particles.. Everyone gasps and takes cover under a table from the bursting rock's pieces. As soon as Nakia is the last to get under the table, and as she squeezes her way in a piece of the flinging rock particles lands right in her left pants pocket. When its finally over, everyone gets up from under the table.. Jeremy looks at the broken pieces and says.

Jeremy-Whoa I wonder what happened.

Nakia exclaims.

Nakia-Duh! The stupid thing blew up.

Jeremy-Yeah.. Well.. Oh never mind.

Kimberly says now to Nakia and Zelda.

Kimberly-Come on.. Let's get out of here.

Nakia responds.

Nakia-Okay.

The three girls stand next to each other, as the guys move away from them.. After saying bye they touch their color coded star buttons and soon their bodies start to form into three beams of light that streak upward towards the ceiling and finally disappear. The guys groan out at each other because they have to clean up the mess.

The time now is 5:15p.m. A yellow, pink and white beams of light are seen streaking through the blue sky.. The beams of light land behind the Lovell Caring Center and transform back into Nakia, Zelda and Kimberly.

Kimberly starts walking towards the front of the center, Nakia and Zelda soon follow. When they all go inside Karan is seen standing at the front office doorway.. She spots them and immediately signals for them to leave.. Kimberly stops walking and turns to Nakia and Zelda, They become puzzled.. Nakia doesn't really care, she just wants to go home. Kimberly asks.

Kimberly-What's wrong?

Zelda-Don't know.

Karan walks over to them and speaks in a less than polite manner. In fact she's being more sarcastic than anything.

Karan-Well you must be Kimberly, Zelda and Nakia.. I'm so very sorry but since you didn't bother to show up till now when all of the important work was to be done.. I'm going to have to ask you to leave and not come back.

Kimberly slightly gasps in bewilderment.. She says.

Kimberly-I'm really sorry. We were really busy earlier.

Zelda adds to it.

Zelda-Yeah it was extremely important.

Nakia says nothing.. Karan does speak.

Karan-I'm sure it was. Anyway please leave. I don't want you around here anymore. Not only did you disappoint me, but you disappointed my entire staff and the residents of this facility.

Kimberly-Please give us another chance.

Karan-No. Second chances are not an option.

Zelda-We are sorry. Just look at it this way. If we were so bad we wouldn't of showed up at all, right?

Karan-You do have a point there.. Still you have to leave.

Nakia finally says after rolling her eyes.

Nakia-Fine, we'll leave. I didn't want to come here anyway.

Surprisingly Nakia's response has sparked a sort of change of heart in Karan.. On that note she says.

Karan-Perhaps there is something you three can do to finish up the day.

Nakia rolls her eyes again and Kimberly becomes more eager.. She asks.

Kimberly-What is it?

Grand Master Sinistar has created a new monster.. It's name is Yodelmonic. Now, Yodelmonic is a creature that resembles a demonic beast and a fiery blaze. Her entire face is made up of flames that have collided together to create a horrible and ugly look. The rest of her body is muscular with black and red as its dominating colors. Yodelmonic has the power to create high fiery energy blasts in the way of high yell pitches. She also can detect strange amounts of energy almost instantly. And another thing, she can drain energy as well.

Back at the nursing home.. The girls have been given a less than likable assignment.. They are all cleaning out the upper part of the nursing home, or better yet to be known, the attic.. Going through tons of papers Nakia says with disgust.

Nakia-I can't believe this! I have paperwork to do at home! Homework! Ya know!

Kimberly sighs and says regretfully.

Kimberly-I'm really sorry.

Nakia-Not as sorry as I am.

Zelda-If we just get through this we'll be able to do something more meaningful.

Nakia-Like what? Clean the bathrooms?

Zelda doesn't respond to Nakia's comment. They continue on with their cleaning. And little do they know, but the piece of rock inside of Nakia's pants pocket begins to radiate its energy source.

A couple of nurses have taken a few seniors out of the nursing home to get some fresh air. There are lots of sitting places right close to the entrance.. They don't even have a chance to sit when a huge thunderous clashing flash appears.. And when it vanishes it reveals the evil presence of Grand Master Sinistar holding her scepter, her new monster Yodelmonic and an army of demon knights standing by her side. The seniors and the nurses scream out in much distress. Grand Master Sinistar steps forward and says to them.

Grand Master Sinistar-Humans! I sense a strange energy within this vicinity! And I have come to collect!

She turns to Yodelmonic and says.

Grand Master Sinistar-Quiet those fools down!

Yodelmonic responds in an operetta type way.

Yodelmonic-As you command Empress.

She opens up her fiery mouth and sounds a very loud earth shaking yodeling wave.. The wave turns into a huge swirling fire vortex that surrounds the nurses and the seniors. Soon the vortex turns the nurses along with the seniors into energy spheres that Yodelmonic captures within her body.

Being alerted by the screams, Karan looks outside to see the evil beings.. She screams out after noticing the seniors and nurses gone.

Karan-OH NO! WHAT HAPPENED TO EVERYONE.. THEY'VE DISAPPEARED! AND WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS?!

Nakia, Kimberly and Zelda look outside from the attic's window area.. They gasp.

Kimberly-Its Sinistar!

Zelda-We have got to transform!

Nakia-We will.

Nakia opens up the attic's window and climbs out onto the roof, the others follow. Grand Master Sinistar spots them and says.

Grand Master Sinistar-Ahh Power Rangers! How nice to see you again!

She points her scepter at them and fires a huge shocking dark blast that knocks them off of the roof. They scream.

Nakia, Zelda and Kimberly-AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!

They crash right onto the grass..

Nakia, Zelda and Kimberly-UGHH!

Grand Master Sinistar laughs..

At the weather station, Ryan and the other guys have finished picking up the broken rock pieces when Jeremy's computer starts to rapidly beep.. He looks up and gets a visual response.. The guys gasp as they see Grand Master Sinistar and her minions about to attack Nakia, Zelda and Kimberly. Ryan immediately says right after the girls transform into the Yellow, Pink and White Star Storm Power Rangers.

Ryan-Time to morph guys!

Chet responds.

Chet-Couldn't of said it better myself!

Joey-Let's do it!

They materialize their morphers and jump upward as their bodies begin to sparkle with their respected Ranger colors.. Soon their sparkling bodies form into beams of light that streak upward towards the ceiling till they are seen no more.

A flash brings us to the fighting scene.. The Yellow and Pink Rangers are fighting off Grand Master Sinistar while the White Ranger is dealing with Yodelmonic.. The demon knights are rushing towards the nursing home's entrance.. But with the great speed, a red streaking beam of light appears and lands right in front of the demon knights.. He immediately begins to fight them off.

The Blue and Black Rangers are assisting the White Ranger..

Grand Master Sinistar zaps both the Yellow and Pink Rangers badly, they scream out in pain but they don't fall.. And when Grand Master Sinistar sees this, she uses her deadly scepter to give them both a powerful swinging swiping strike.. Their body suits are hit and soon they set off small explosions that cause them to flip upward and over onto their backs which immediately brings them down to the ground.

Yodelmonic opens up her fiery mouth and sounds another loud yodel that produces another fire vortex.. The vortex surrounds the White, Black and Blue Rangers and almost instantly they are turned into energy spheres. Yodelmonic now absorbs the energy spheres into her body.. The Red Ranger sees this after finishing off the last demon knight.. He gets upset and shouts out.

Red Ranger-NO!

He takes off running towards Yodelmonic but is stopped quickly due to a heavy blast of energy strikes that knock him off his feet.

Red Ranger-AGGHH!

Grand Master Sinistar congratulates Yodelmonic as she moves towards her. The three Rangers lay on the ground in constant pain.. The evil master says now.

Grand Master Sinistar-Excellent work!

She now looks at the Yellow Ranger and picks her up by her right shoulder.. She struggles to break loose but Grand Master Sinistar's grip doesn't let up.

Yellow Ranger-PUT ME DOWN!

Grand Master Sinistar-Yellow Ranger! You are holding the alien energy.. I sense it!

Yellow Ranger-WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?

Grand Master Sinistar-You'll know exactly what I'm talking about..

She throws the Yellow Ranger towards the brick walled nursing home with great force. As she says..

Grand Master Sinistar-NOW!

As soon as the Yellow Ranger hit's the brick wall, her powers start to die down.. Her body suit glows brightly yellow, and when it dies down, she is revealed to be Nakia again.. She falls onto the grass in more pain now.

Nakia-UGGHH!

The piece of rock falls out of Nakia's pants pocket. Now, Grand Master Sinistar uses her dark influence to capture the small piece of rock.. It floats over to her hands.. She grasps it instantly.

Grand Master Sinistar-Ahh this is it! The energy is pulsating with ferocity.

The Red and Pink Rangers get back up on their feet and rush over to Nakia.. The Red Ranger leans down and holds her up slightly.. He asks.

Red Ranger-You all right?

Nakia responds weakly.

Nakia-Yeah.. I'm.. okay.

Grand Master Sinistar looks at the three and says aggressively.

Grand Master Sinistar-FINISH THEM OFF YODELMONIC!

She laughs and raises her scepter up towards the sky, then with an instant thunderous flash, she vanishes.

Yodelmonic looks at the three and starts to set off another deadly yodeling vortex.. The Pink Ranger looks at her and says.

Pink Ranger-Oh no you don't!

An essence of wind appears around the Pink Ranger.. She raises both of her arms up as a bright glowing pink beam of power flashes upon her hands and brings forth her Wind Javelins. She now brings down her arms and swings her javelins around quickly so that they start to sound a very powerful and painful screech as she says.

Pink Ranger-WHIRLING JAVELIN SCREECH!

Yodelmonic sends out another yodeling fire vortex to in her hopes, capture the Pink Ranger.

The Pink Ranger's power screech takes form and goes up against the fire vortex.. It seems like the Pink Ranger's attack is losing, but when she pushes forward, the screeching power attack increases its intensity and destroys the fire vortex. Now the powerful attack surrounds Yodelmonic and causes her hearing to go out.. She screams out in pain as her body surges with negative power..

Yodelmonic-AAAAAAHHHHHH!

When the attack disappears, the Pink Ranger throws both of her javelins over Yodelmonic's head. The two pink javelins land a few feet away from Yodelmonic.. The Pink Ranger now makes her move.. She starts off with doing a cartwheel, then after the cartwheel, she does several back flips till she's close enough to Yodelmonic. Now, after landing on her feet for a slight second she leaps up into the air backward and goes into cannonball mode backwards.. She extends both of her legs just as she gets close enough to Yodelmonic's backside where she gives her a double leg striking kick.. Yodelmonic is pushed slightly away, but she turns back after getting angry to counterattack, but its too late. The Pink Ranger has already anticipated Yodelmonic's counter attack, that's why she threw her javelins.. Yodelmonic turns only to get a double javelin wind power slashing strike.. The power from the javelins causes her body to surge tremendously bad.. As she screams in complete agony, the Pink Ranger takes her javelins and rushes over back to her friends.

Yodelmonic lets out a very loud yodeling shrill as she falls to the ground and into a heavy power explosion.. The explosion releases the captured seniors and nurses.. They are sent back into the nursing home.. The others stand up in hopes to see their three Ranger friends, they wait a few seconds and soon three spheres appear, with the colors of white, black and blue. The spheres land next to them and form back into the White, Black and Blue Power Rangers. They all thank the Pink Ranger.. She says.

Pink Ranger-It was nothing..

Grand Master Sinistar senses Yodelmonic's defeat from her throne room.. She sends out a power blast that makes its way towards the earth.

Nakia is feeling better now.. She stands up and decides that maybe its best to transform back into the Yellow Ranger.. She's right of course, and so she calls forth her lightning power and becomes the Yellow Star Storm Power Ranger once again.

All of the Power Rangers witness the power blast making its way through the sky.. It strikes Yodelmonic's broken body and quickly puts her back together again. The White Ranger yells out.

White Ranger-UH OH!

Yodelmonic is about to attack, but the Power Rangers move fast.. They all leap up and over Yodelmonic.. They land on her opposite side together. She turns around and sends out a wavy blast of dark power that flashes upon the Ranger's body suits.. They scream out and fall on their backs.

Power Rangers-UHGHH!

She laughs and says.

Yodelmonic-Now I'm going to burn you all beyond recognition Rangers!

The Red Ranger leaps back on his feet and says.

Red Ranger-Dream on!

The others get back on their feet.. The Red Ranger speaks out again.

Red Ranger-Come on everyone.. Its time to put this freak out once and for all!

Yellow Ranger-Let's bring out the fury of the storm!

Pink Ranger-Right!

Yodelmonic powers up even more and just as she sends out another strike, all of the Power Rangers leap up and form into streaking beams of light that enter the clouds of the sky.. Soon the clouds begin to rumble.. Yodelmonic looks up and sees the rumbling clouds.

Yodelmonic-Huh?! Where'd they go!?

The clouds produce a huge powerful circular energy cyclone.. Inside of the energy cyclone are obvious surges of powerful red fire, yellow lightning, pink wind, white snow, black ice and blue rain.

The cyclone takes Yodelmonic and twists her body into an explosive oblivion. When it dies down, the energies form back into the Red Ranger, Yellow Ranger, Pink Ranger, White Ranger, Black Ranger and Blue Ranger..

The seniors and nurses inside of the nursing home begin to cheer. Karan walks outside to thank the Power Rangers.. The Red, Blue and Black Rangers teleport back to the weather station because Jeremy has something he wants to talk to them about.

The Yellow, Pink and White Rangers return to their normal selves and manage to sneak back up into the nursing home's attic to finish their cleaning.

When the guys get back to the weather station they have transformed back into their normal selves.. Jeremy talks to them about what Sinistar took from Nakia.. He says.

Jeremy-Guys I saw Sinistar take a piece of the rock from Nakia through my computer.. Apparently she didn't know a piece of the alien rock was in her pants pocket.

Ryan asks.

Ryan-So what does this mean?

Jeremy-It could mean a lot of things.. Like Sinistar finding out about the power source.. Or maybe it would lead her right to this weather station.

Chet-Oh man! I hope not!

Joey-That makes two of us!

The evil Master is within a cauldron room inside of the lower part of her palace.. The piece of alien rock is levitating over a huge bubbling cauldron filled with a light green potion.. She says to herself.

Grand Master Sinistar-When I find out what power this piece holds I'll be able to find the rest of it and use it to destroy those Power Rangers!
