Chapter 115 Lights Out for the Deadinite Crystal
Grand Master Sinistar returns to her palace on the moon.. She steps out on her podium like balcony and sees Princess Andromeda's space ship hovering over the earth.. She says to herself.
Grand Master Sinistar-Who is that..
She snaps.
Grand Master Sinistar-NO MATTER!
She blasts the space ship and causes it to rumble.. Inside, the Princess and everyone else become alarmed.. She asks Myanthor.
Princess Andromeda-What's happening?!
Myanthor-I don't know Princess.
The ship rumbles even more.
Princess Andromeda-Make it stop!
It stops alright.. Meaning the ship has exploded into a cosmic wave that extends far across the galaxy. And with the destruction of the space ship, Princess Andromeda and everyone else on the ship have perished.
Grand Master Sinistar says to herself after thinking of the star seeds.
Grand Master Sinistar-I must think of a way to destroy those bothersome power fools!
She snaps her fingers after getting an idea.
Grand Master Sinistar-How could I have been so stupid! Yes of course.. The amulet of power.. I completely forgot about it! Ha! Well I'll just go back in time and capture it! And then those fools, all of them will be sorry! Ha!
She disappears and so does her moon palace.
Back on earth, the five teenagers have awakened.. They are all helped on their feet by the Power Rangers who have powered down and so they are back to their normal selves.. Myndor says now.
Myndor-You five have to come with us.
Kyle rubs the back of his head and grunts.. He then speaks out.
Kyle-What's going on here?
Myndor-There's so much to explain but we can't tell you everything now. We have to find the deadinite crystal before it destroys all time.
A Unison gasp is heard. Zelda asks.
Zelda-Myndor what do you mean?
Myndor-I mean the deadinite crystal is traveling through time. It's absorbing the earth's life force energy in each time period.
Nakia says.
Nakia-No wonder we couldn't find it.
Ryan-Once we find the crystal we'll have to go into the heart of it.
Myndor-How do you know this?
Ryan-A friend of ours told us what to do.
Kastra-Then that's what we must do in order to stop it.
Myndor-Please..
He speaks to the five teens.
Myndor-Each of you take a star seed. We can't stop the deadinite crystal without your help.
They say nothing at all.. Thankfully to Myndor's satisfaction they each take a hold of a star seed. Kyle's hand glows red and he starts to feel sensation power flow through his body. The same happens to Bianca who has the yellow star seed, Grant who has the blue star seed, Valerie who has taken the pink star seed and Chris who has the green star seed. They look at Myndor.. He nods his head and says.
Myndor-Excellent. Now we can travel through time and find the deadinite crystal..
He looks at the Rangers with a tad bit of worry..
Myndor-Rangers I'm afraid Kastra and I won't be able to teleport you along with the five holders of the star seeds.
Ryan asks.
Ryan-How are we supposed to help then?
Myndor-I fault myself for not telling you this.. Simply because I forgot..
Nakia-What is it?
Myndor-First you will need to morph then touch your power emblems on your chest and you'll see.
They stand side by side and do as their told.. Quickly Ryan, Nakia, Zelda, Chet, Kimberly and Joey transform back into the Power Ranger team. After touching their star symbols on their chests.. The star symbols begins to charge up in a lighting sense. Without any sort of delay, the charging power extends outward and hit the ground a few feet away from everyone.. The Power Rangers, followed by Myndor, Kastra and the other five rush over to see six beautiful looking power cycles arranged in this order, on the right side are the red, yellow and pink power cycles, and on the left side are the white, black and blue ones. The Power Rangers are so astonished that they can't say anything except let out happy ooh's and ahh's.
Their power cycles resemble motor cycles but are designed based on their particular power.. For instance, the red power cycle has a blazing fire design that covers the entire cycle, and at the front base of it, a star symbol. The others you can guess are the same except for the difference of symbols, for yellow its lightning, for pink its wind, for black its hail, for white its snow and for blue its rain.
They get on their power cycles to check out everything.. In the center they find a small built in computer which will come in handy in about a couple of seconds to be exact.. Myndor steps up to them and speaks.
Myndor-Rangers these are your Power Cycles.. Not only are they beautiful looking but they can travel through time.
The White Ranger speaks out now.
White Ranger-Wow that is so cool!
Myndor-All you have to do is set a time period coordinate and your cycles will get you there.
Kastra-We have to hurry before the deadinite crystal wipes out all time.
Myndor says to the five teens.
Myndor-Gather together..
He says to the Rangers now.
Myndor-Set the time period back one hundred years.
Black Ranger-Wait. What if the crystal went back even further?
Myndor-I'm afraid we'll have to search throughout all time to find it.
They hear voices coming from the sky..
Wizard's Pool-That won't be necessary.. The deadinite crystal has went back four hundred years and has almost depleted the earth's energy within that time period.. It will be within the land of cawdor in five hundred years time within 20 minutes.
The voices vanish before anyone has the chance to say anything to them. Myndor repeats himself.
Myndor-Rangers, set the time coordinates back to five hundred years then. You'll travel to cawdor where we'll stop the crystal.
They say in unison.
Power Rangers-RIGHT!
Myndor and Kastra combine their powers to transport themselves along with the five teens out of the present time..
The Power Rangers start up their power cycles.. And then they set the correct time coordinates into their cycle's built in computers.. Pressing the accelerators on each cycle, the Rangers take off with the speed of light. As soon as their cycles reach a high speed they begin to glow and burst into disappearance.
Five hundred years into the past, the Land of Cawdor resides.. In a beautiful palace, Prince Caleb is warned of an approaching evil by one of his mediocre wizards. He sits on his throne wearing a suit of armor and a golden crown. He speaks in a very high tone to the worried people who have just heard the dreadful news.
Prince Caleb-With the amulet of power on our side we have nothing to fear.
One woman speaks out in utter fear.
Woman-But what if the amulet can't do what its expected to do. We might be killed.
Prince Caleb-I promise you all. That won't happen.
The horridly worried people are stunned.. Not physically but mentally due to a very unpleasant sounding tone seeming to be coming from outside the palace, but moving closer to them.
Grand Master Sinistar-Such a pity the Prince has to rely on false promises to calm his people.
The Prince exclaims.
Prince Caleb-Who dares to speak in such a manner?! Show yourself!
A crackling sound of power presents Grand Master Sinistar floating above the people.. They look upward and scream out in complete terror. She materializes her scepter and uses it to subdue their screams.. Soon all of the people become unconscious and fall on one another. Prince Caleb's body shudders and his wizard foolishly uses his magic to try and knock Grand Master Sinistar out of mid air.. She simply captures his magic and sends it back to him with a paralyzing surprise. Once the wizard is down, Prince Caleb pulls out his sword and holds it affront. Grand Master Sinistar laughs with evil glee..
Grand Master Sinistar-You think your puny little sword will protect you?!
Prince Caleb-Get away from my land you putrid creature!
Grand Master Sinistar gets supremely angry, she conjures a deadly sphere in her hands and hurls it at the Prince as she says.
Grand Master Sinistar-SILENCE YOU WEAK IDIOT!
The Prince moves out of the way quickly just as the sphere hits his throne and destroys it.
His moving gesture makes her laugh again.
Grand Master Sinistar-You shall live Prince Caleb, as a servant to me once again!
Prince Caleb-What?!
Grand Master Sinistar-Don't tell me you have forgotten your true self..
Prince Caleb-My true self?! What are you talking about?!
Grand Master Sinistar-Your true self as an arrogant self centered lying deceiving beast! A beast I so greatly admire.
Prince Caleb-I am none of those things.
Grand Master Sinistar-Oh yes you are.. You have simply forgotten.. Now I shall remind you.
She blasts him with her scepter and causes his body to transform. He loses his suit of armor.. Flashes of green power take over his body, and with the last one finally complete, Prince Caleb once again has been transformed into a brand new looking Dragonlord.. This new Dragonlord has two greenish black horns sticking out from the opposite sides of his forehead..
Grand Master Sinistar floats down to the floor. She moves towards Dragonlord as she speaks.
Grand Master Sinistar-You are looking much better.
Dragonlord speaks in a grungy obedient tone.
Dragonlord-It is good to be back Empress! How may I serve you?
Grand Master Sinistar-Tell me where the amulet of power is being kept.
Dragonlord-It's in the ancient temple.
Grand Master Sinistar-Ah the ancient temple.
Dragonlord-Yes but I must tell you. No one of evil can pass through the entrance.
Grand Master Sinistar scoffs and adds.
Grand Master Sinistar-No one till now.
He nods.
Suddenly the evil master gets a flashing warning in her thoughts regarding Myndor, Kastra and the others.. She grunts angrily and slams the end of her scepter on to the floor which I must say causes a slight rumble.. Dragonlord asks.
Dragonlord-What is wrong Empress?
Grand Master Sinistar-Those two fools! Myndor and Kastra are on their way back, with help!
Dragonlord-Want me to ambush them and finish off their weak existences?
Grand Master Sinistar-Strong words Dragonlord.. But futile! Unless you have some help. Hmm.
She looks around the throne room and sees a couple of giant stone statues. One statue resembles a creature which is half man and half vulture, another statue resembles a creature that is half man and half three headed bull. She points her scepter in the middle section of the two statues and releases her power.. The power of course divides and hits both statues at once.. She shouts out.
Grand Master Sinistar-ARISE VULTARIS AND BULLDEMON!
The power from Grand Master Sinistar's scepter works its dark magic by cracking the outer shells of the stone statues, soon a blinding power bursts through the cracks and covers the entire throne room.. When the power evaporates the two creatures are alive and very mean looking. They bow down to their master.. She says after producing six small pocket size green mirrors.
Grand Master Sinistar-You all have a mission! And these mirrors will help you succeed! I am going to the ancient temple.
She blasts the mirrors into Dragonlord's chest area.
Grand Master Sinistar-The mirrors I have given you will replicate if the original ones are destroyed by the Rangers. No matter, if you mess up, you'll be able to produce more mirrors.
Dragonlord-What purpose do the mirrors serve Empress?
Grand Master Sinistar-The mirrors will simply make the Rangers wish they had never been born! Trap them inside and they will be rendered powerless! When the Rangers are subdued inform me.. I will use their energies as potential sacrifices!
They all say together.
Dragonlord, Vultaris and Bulldemon-Yes master.
Grand Master Sinistar-But if they so happen to still have their winning streak.. I'll crush all of your bones with just a glance of my power!
They all cower with utter fear..
Grand Master Sinistar raises her scepter and disappears with the sound of thunder.
A brilliantly flashing light appears in the center of the poor section of cawdor.. Many people come from out of their poorly built wooden and stoned homes to see what the flashing commotion is about. Some people just think the lights are coming from a spell from a crackpot wizard and others don't really seem to care at all regarding the origins of the lights, they just wonder what they mean. The deadinite crystal appears right out of the lights to continue on its reign of terror. Screaming is now heard due to the people feeling their life energy being taken away quickly. They all drop instantly like dead weight. The deadinite crystal concentrates its draining affect into a dome like field, it begins to spread like before in the present time.
Myndor, Kastra, the five teens with the star seeds and the Power Rangers all appear in cawdor just in time.. They hear the screaming and soon locate the cause of it. The Power Rangers leap off their power cycles and stand next to their wizard mentor.. He says.
Myndor-We have to stop it right now!
He gives a command to the five teens.
Myndor-You five. Push forward the star seeds and concentrate their energies into one. Direct that one concentrated energy flow towards the growing dome, now!
They all nod their heads in agreement and do as their told. Each star seed begins to glow and shoot out their power towards each other where it is all concentrated into one energy.. The five teens then direct the energy towards the growing dome. They all gasp out because the dome is getting much bigger, that is till the star seed energy strikes it into a most wanted explosion. They all cheer but soon their cheers are halted for now they have to destroy the power crystal before it has the opportunity to create another growing dome. The Black Ranger says to the other Power Rangers.
Black Ranger-Remember what Princess Ariel said. We can teleport into the heart of the crystal.
Yellow Ranger-Yeah.
Myndor-Who said that?
Pink Ranger-A friend.
Red Ranger-Let's do it.
The Power Rangers stand side by side and leap up into the sky.. Their bodies form into colorful streaking beams that attempt to penetrate the crystal, but the inner power from the crystal knocks them away. They form back into their Ranger selves and fall on their backs.
Power Rangers-UGHH!
Myndor comes up with an idea he hopes will work. He says.
Myndor-I think all of you should teleport into the heart.. With the star seed energy your chances will be more greater of destroying the crystal.
The teens help up the Rangers.. They all agree to follow Myndor's plan.. The Red Ranger stands next to Kyle, the Yellow Ranger stands next to Bianca, the Blue Ranger stands next to Grant, the Pink Ranger stands next to Valerie and the Black Ranger along with the White Ranger stands next to Chris. Myndor shouts out because the crystal is starting to once again create another growing dome.
Myndor-QUICKLY! GO!
They all say together.
Everyone-RIGHT!
They all jump and form into color coded stars thanks to the star seeds. Soon all of those stars rip into the crystal's form with ferocity. Myndor and Kastra begin to hope this works. They don't realize this, but Dragonlord and the other two beasts are hiding behind a bunch of bushes and trees not too far away from the scene.
Sounds of crackling power is heard coming from within the crystal.. Moments later the crystal cracks and shoots out the star energy which hit's the ground and forms back into the teens and the Rangers. They are all feeling terrible. Myndor and Kastra rush over to them to see if they're okay.
It appears their efforts worked.. The deadinite crystal cracks and loses its light.. It falls to the ground and soon after it begins to generate a tremendous amount of energy. That energy is actually all of the energy it took from the earth's time in creation.. Each time period from where the deadinite crystal stole energy, returns peacefully.. When its all done, the deadinite crystal slowly disappears into nothingness.
Everyone is taken to Kastra's home.. The Power Rangers have powered down so they're back to their normal selves.. They all sit in Kastra's kitchen sipping cocoa and tea while talking with one another. Ryan asks Kyle.
Ryan-How did you guys get the star seeds?
Kyle responds.
Kyle-It was weird man.. I was playing football one day and some beam flashed down on me..
Bianca adds.
Bianca-The same thing happened to me. I was out shopping buying all the latest fashions and a beam came down on me.
Valerie-I was practicing on the balance beam when it happened to me.
Zelda turns to her and asks.
Zelda-You're a gymnast?
Valerie-Yeah. I've been studying for a long time.
Zelda-That's so cool.
Kyle continues on..
Kyle-Then we found ourselves in a cage on a spaceship.
Ryan-Whoa.
Kyle-Yeah some weird looking woman took us to her planet.
Bianca-Yeah it was totally bogus.
Chris-We thought we were going to die.
Grant-They were working on some sort of rock thing.
Bianca-And one day the thing just exploded.
Valerie-When it exploded we heard a strange voice and boom! There were five glowing thingies we were told to take.
Nakia-You heard a voice.. Hmmm.
Zelda adds.
Zelda-I bet it was Princess Ariel.
Kimberly-Sounds right to me.
Nakia-I'm thinking the same thing.
Myndor comes into the kitchen looking very worried.. He says.
Myndor-I have some terrible news. I went back home and found out Grand Master Sinistar is here.
Ryan, Nakia, Zelda, Kimberly, Chet and Joey all practically choke on their cocoa in a state of shock. Kyle asks.
Kyle-Who's that?
Ryan looks at him and coughs slightly, he then says.
Ryan-You don't wanna know.
Myndor says to Kyle, Bianca, Grant, Valerie and Chris.
Myndor-I thank you all for your help.. But you must return to your own present time now. We have to deal with Sinistar and find out what she's up to.
Valerie-Can't we help?
Myndor-No.. You must go now..
The star seeds do something no one expects.. They reappear in mid air and vanish without a trace.. Kyle asks.
Kyle-What happened?
Myndor-The star seeds have disappeared. I feel when they are needed again they will show themselves. I must send you back to Terra Falls in your time now.
Before they can say another word, Myndor transports the teens out of cawdor..
Ryan practically leaps out of his chair and asks.
Ryan-Where is Sinistar?
Myndor-I don't know.. The wizard's pool told me she's here. But they don't know where exactly yet.
Nakia-What could she want in this time?
Myndor-I'm going to say I have no idea.
He sighs heavily.
Myndor-But it would be a lie.
Zelda says sympathetically.
Zelda-Myndor tell us.
Myndor-She must be after the amulet of power. But she can't possibly know where it is.
Nakia-Hmmm.
Kastra's home starts to shake violently, everyone gets up and tries to find out what's causing it but they all end up in a confusing scramble. Kastra comes out of the cellar and ends up falling back into it.. They hear laughing voices coming from outside.
Dragonlord-Come out Power Rangers! We know you're in there!
Bulldemon-We promise to make your deaths are painful as possible! Hahaha.
Vultaris takes flight into the air and moves around Kastra's home.. He spots everyone through the kitchen window and opens up his beak.. Suddenly a blast of wavy dark power rips through the window and covers everyone inside, they all end up being flung up against the left side of the kitchen wall.
Everyone-UUGGHH!
He laughs and says.
Vultaris-You're all finished!
He opens up his beak again as everything fades to black..
