Chapter 125 The Table's Turned, Pink Style
Zelda makes it to the high school in Joey's car.. She parks it in the student's parking lot.. As soon as she turns off the engine her communicator beeps.. She answers it.
Zelda-What's going on?
Jeremy responds.
Jeremy-Zelda there's trouble.. The other Rangers have been captured.
Zelda-Oh no. I knew something was disturbing about Princess Ariel.
Jeremy-Get to the weather station as soon as you can.
Zelda-On my way.
She turns off her communicator and sighs.
Back to the Queen's evil commander center so to speak.. All of the Rangers' bodies have been frozen and are being held up in five different shell casings that are going to take their energies and collect them within a special sphere of power. The Queen watches them and so does Andromeda. She looks at her and says.
Queen Minerva-Do try your best to capture the last Ranger. It would look better to have all six of them, instead of just five.
Princess Andromeda-I already have an idea to capture Pinky.
Queen Minerva-Good. Because I have decided I don't want to start the energy drain till you capture her.
Princess Andromeda-It will be a snap Auntie.
At the old weather station.. Jeremy is speaking to Lightwing who's hovering over him and telling him everything he saw.. They stop when they notice a pink beam of streaking light appearing through the ceiling and landing right behind Jeremy's chair.. That pink light transforms into Zelda. She asks.
Zelda-Where are the others?
Lightwing responds.
Lightwing-You were right to get me to follow them Zelda. They have been captured and taken to the lair of our enemies.
Zelda-Can we find them Jeremy?
Jeremy-I don't know. There's no sign of them anywhere on my scanners.
Lightwing-They were all put in crystal holders then taken away.
Zelda-Crystal holders?
Lightwing-Yes, those wicked beings said something about draining their energies. That seems to be their objective.
Zelda-Hmmm.
Zelda thinks very fast.. She says.
Zelda-I'm sure they'll try to capture me.
She asks Lightwing..
Zelda-Can you make some sort of power cell?
Lightwing-Of course.
Zelda-Make it really give off the sense that its powerful. And that it will be able to trap anything inside of it.
Lightwing-Yes, but why?
Zelda-When the fake Cosmica or whatever tries to capture me, I'll challenge her to a battle. And the prize is the fake power cell.
Jeremy-And?
Zelda-Don't you see? I'll tell her if I win she has to take me to my friends.. And if she wins she can have the power cell. I have no intentions of winning.
Jeremy-Ooooh.. When she gets the power cell.
Zelda-It'll trap her inside. After she's trapped I'll tell her to tell me where my friends are or I'll crush it with her in it.
Lightwing-Brilliant thinking Zelda!
Zelda-After I find out where they are because I know she wouldn't want me to crush the cell with her in it. I'll go rescue them.
Lightwing-Are you sure you want to do that?
Zelda-Of course.
Lightwing-I think I should go. Since I'm really small and not detectable.
Zelda-But.
Lightwing continues.
Lightwing-Trust me I'll get them out.
Zelda-Okay, just be very careful.
Lightwing-I will. Now I'm going to work on the power cell.
Zelda-Thanks Lightwing..
He disappears.. Jeremy looks at Zelda and asks.
Jeremy-What are you going to do now?
Zelda-I'm going to wait for Lightwing. Then I'll go out..
Her words are stopped when an image of winged gremlins appear in downtown Terra Falls attacking innocent people on Jeremy's main computer.. She gasps.
Zelda-Oh no!
Jeremy looks at the main computer screen and says.
Jeremy-Looks like they're trying to draw you out now Zelda.
Zelda-Yeah, problem is.. It's working.
Jeremy-Hmm. Good luck..
Zelda-Thanks.
Zelda brings up her right wrist and twists it once. When she did that, it caused a pink glow that transformed her wrist communicator into her morpher. She steps back a few feet and swings her arm around once, she then brings it together as she shouts out.
Zelda-IT'S MORPHIN TIME!
Now she touches the pink star on her morpher and continues to say.
Zelda-PINK STAR, WINDSTORM POWER, NOW!
A blinding flash of pink light takes us now to an essence of the Universe..
A large pink star appears twirling within the essence, when it stops, a breeze of powerful winds rip the star to pieces of pink energy that comes together and forms into the Pink Star Storm Power Ranger. She stands bravely as her suit glows and flashes with the color of pink. Now, leaping up and twisting her body around, when she lands she continues on by doing a couple of back flips. And when the final power phase is complete, she lands on her feet which sounds a screeching power wind and causes an image of the powerful elemental wind force to appear.
The Pink Ranger flips into action..
She lands next to a few winged gremlins and takes a hold of one by its right arm. She slings it down, and back flips three times to get away from the other ones who are crowding around her. Then one at a time, each winged gremlin tries to take her down, the Pink Ranger immediately acts, she front kicks the first one and it falls, she turns to see another one and back kicks that one away from her, more show up and attempt to swipe at her but she knocks them down with a powerful floor sweeping swoop. She gets back up to see even more winged gremlins in the sky.. They land and attack her fiercely.. With sharp blasts of stinging power, the Pink Ranger is hit in her chestal area, she shouts out in pain but doesn't fall on her back, she simply falls on bended knee. She gets right back up and charges at the remaining winged gremlins and gives them a super powered up anger battle. They don't even have the chance to strike back because the Pink Ranger's wind power is in full force, she delivers front kicks, back kicks, side kicks, quick strike punches to all of them at once and to completely finish them all off, she gives them one heck of a powerful tornado kick that is so strong it immediately causes them to explode on contact.
The winged gremlins she had fought earlier have disappeared.. The people come out to thank her for getting rid of the beasts. She nods and says.
Pink Ranger-No Problem. You all have to get out of here now.. Before more trouble shows itself.
They listen and leave the area.. Suddenly, an image of Cosmica appears before the Pink Ranger.. It speaks in a frantic, scared tone.
Cosmica-Pink Ranger.. Meet me at these coordinates. Please, there's not much time!
The image blasts a magical sparkle into the Pink Ranger's communicator, it then disappears.
The Pink Ranger touches her star belt buckle and transforms into a pink beam of streaking light that shoots upwards into the sky.. It soon disappears.
Back at the old weather station.. A pink beam of streaking light appears upon the ceiling of the main computer and shoots downward to the floor where it transforms back into the Pink Ranger.. She takes off her helmet.. And asks Jeremy.
Zelda-Did you see it?
Jeremy-Yeah I saw the image. Right after you whipped those bad looking birds.
Zelda-I wonder how Lightwing is coming along with the power cell.
Jeremy-I have no idea.
Zelda-I hope he hurries. The plan won't work without it.
Cosmica, or I should say, Princess Andromeda in disguise is waiting for the Pink Ranger to show up at the spot of which she has chosen.. Basically it's a scary looking forest area, filled with a thin fog and an over all eerie surrounding..
Time passes on.. Lightwing appears with a beautiful looking power cell, it doesn't stay one particular color though, no, it changes color every second.. It goes from yellow, to red, to pink, to black, white and blue, and also it repeats this color changing phase over and over again.
He says to Zelda who put her helmet on one of the computers in the room.
Lightwing-It's ready Pink Ranger.
She looks up at him and takes the power cell.. After looking at it with amazement, she says.
Zelda-It's beautiful Lightwing.
Lightwing-It will definitely fool the evil Princess. And rest assure when she touches the cell it will absorb her form into it.
Zelda-I hope so.
She takes a hold of her helmet and puts it back on.. Lightwing and Jeremy wish her good luck.. She nods and says with force.
Pink Ranger-BACK TO ACTION!
With those words spoken, a pink flash of power emerges and takes her directly to the coordinated vicinity the evil image put into her communicator.. She appears in cannonball mode.. She lands on the north side of the eerie looking forest.. She shouts out.
Pink Ranger-I'M HERE!
She hears a faint voice lurking through the fog.
Princess Andromeda as Cosmica-Help me. Please.. I can't get away.
The Pink Ranger becomes startled although she knows this is a trick. She says.
Pink Ranger-I'm not falling for any of your tricks! I know you're not the real Cosmica! I'm here to offer you a deal..
The voice begins to speak again, but stops..
Evil chuckling is heard. Then speaking..
Princess Andromeda-How clever of you Pink Ranger..
She turns toward the direction of the voice and soon she sees an image that steps through the fog. The Pink Ranger continues to say.
Pink Ranger-I have something that I know you'll find interesting.
Princess Andromeda-Only thing I'm interested in is capturing you!
Pink Ranger-Oh?
She materializes the power cell.. Its magnificent emitted energy makes the Princess feel slightly different but in a good way.
Princess Andromeda-What kind of power is that?! I want it!
Pink Ranger-I knew you would. So here's my deal.
Princess Andromeda-What?!
Pink Ranger-I challenge you to fight me. If I win you tell me where my friends are. If you win I'll give you the power cell..
She holds it up teasingly.
Princess Andromeda-That power cell holds very strong power.
Pink Ranger-Yeah. So what do you say?
Princess Andromeda-I want that power cell!
Pink Ranger-Do you accept my challenge?
Princess Andromeda-Fine. I'll fight you.
Pink Ranger-And you'll tell me where my friends are if I win right?
Princess Andromeda says with a funny little grimace appearing on her face.
Princess Andromeda-Of course.
Pink Ranger-Humph! I don't believe you.
The Pink Ranger is only going through this talk to make it look real. She knows Princess Andromeda has no intention of telling her where her friends are unless she's captured within the power cell.
Princess Andromeda yells out.
Princess Andromeda-Why are you stalling?! Let's begin! Unless you're having second thoughts.
The Pink Ranger makes a fist and says with seriousness.
Pink Ranger-I am not having second thoughts. I'm going to get my friends back!
Princess Andromeda-You can only hope.
Pink Ranger-So let's get this over with!
Princess Andromeda-Finally.
The Pink Ranger dissipates the power cell.. She then prepares herself for battle.. Princess Andromeda however materializes her mirror, she changes it so that the outer circular part is covered with very sharp spikes. Now, the evil Princess throws the mirror at the Pink Ranger, and this happened so fast that the Pink Ranger really didn't have the chance to maneuver out of the mirrors way.. She is struck quickly, and the result of the strike causes her suit to set off small explosions. She groans out slightly.
Pink Ranger-UUNNHH!
The mirror returns to the Princess. She looks at the Pink Ranger who's now regaining her strength and says.
Princess Andromeda-Say your last goodbyes Ranger.. Because I forgot to tell you of the slight clause in our deal.. If you lose not only will you give up the power cell, but you are going back with me to suffer the same fate as your friends.
The Pink Ranger exclaims.
Pink Ranger-WE'LL SEE!
The Princess rushes over to the Pink Ranger with a vengeance, but something the Pink Ranger does surprises her.. She growls when the Pink Ranger uses her wind power to leap up and over her body in mid air.. She lands beautifully on her feet.. The Princess turns and attempts to strike the Pink Ranger with her deadly looking mirror but the Pink Ranger lifts up her left leg and kicks the mirror out of her hand..
Princess Andromeda-UGHH!
The Princess punches the Pink Ranger in the stomach very strong like.. The effect from the punch creates a rumbling pain feeling.. The Pink Ranger groans out a bit but isn't really hurt. Seeing the punch really didn't have much of an effect on the Pink Ranger, the evil Princess extends her right arm and sends out a red hot blasting beam that covers the Pink Ranger's body suit in second flashes. The beam makes her suit set off more explosions, this time more than before.. She moans and groans out in pain as her body is sent to the ground in a roll away fashion.
When the Pink Ranger stops rolling, she slowly gets back on her feet only to find the Princess firing another red hot blasting beam towards her. Thinking fast, the Pink Ranger calls forth her Tornado Storm Power as she says.
Pink Ranger-Ughh! I've got to make this look good. Can't let her win so easily.
After forming into a Pink Tornado, the Pink Ranger's twirling form is hit by the beam.. But the beam doesn't hurt her, it is completely absorbed by the Pink Tornado and when she stops twirling around, the Pink Ranger directs the red beam right back at the Princess. Unfortunately the Princess has prepared at the last minute.. She has her mirror now, so she places it in front of her and causes the beam to reflect back towards the Pink Ranger. This time she's hit again.. And more small explosions are set off by her Ranger suit.
She falls to the ground in pain.
Pink Ranger-UUUGHHH!
Princess Andromeda laughs and says when she walks closer to the fallen Pink Ranger.
Princess Andromeda-You lose!
To make her plan look better, the Pink Ranger responds as she slowly stands up again.
Pink Ranger-No! I'm not going to give up! I have to save my friends!
Princess Andromeda-My, you are a glutton for punishment aren't you?
The Pink Ranger retorts fiercely.
Pink Ranger-AND YOU'RE JUST A GLUTTON!
She pushes her gloved hands forward quickly and shouts out.
Pink Ranger-PINK STAR WIND POWER, NOW!
Her gloved hands glow vastly pink with a starry sparkle and soon they produce a powerful wind that flings the Princess up into the air.. The wind power then causes the Princess to crash hard into one of the trees.
Princess Andromeda-UUHH!
Angrier than ever now, the Princess stands back up and zaps her mirror back into her hands.. She looks at the Pink Ranger who asks.
Pink Ranger-GIVE UP?!
Princess Andromeda-NEVER!
The mirror glows and suddenly a red hot beam blasts the Pink Ranger in her back with tremendous force.. She screams out and is knocked down again.
Pink Ranger-AAAAAAHHHH!
Princess Andromeda laughs.
Princess Andromeda-Pathetic pink peon! You have lost!
The Pink Ranger says weakly to make her idea look better once again.
Pink Ranger-Noooo.
Her right gloved hand opens and the power cell appears.. Princess Andromeda walks over to it triumphantly.
Princess Andromeda-I'll take the power cell now. And you pinky are coming back with me!
The Princess grabs the power cell and instantly its glowing intensifies.. She gasps with delight, although her delight changes into shear negative amazement, and the reason why is because the cell is pulling her inside of it. She shouts out when the cell falls to the ground.
Princess Andromeda-WHAT'S GOING ON?!
The Pink Ranger stands back up and watches the cell absorb Princess Andromeda into it completely. Her screams are heard.
Princess Andromeda-NOOOOO!
The Pink Ranger exclaims with happiness..
Pink Ranger-YES! It worked!
The Princess' voice is heard.
Princess Andromeda-Let me out of here!
The Pink Ranger is about to say something when she feels something is behind her.. Yes something is watching her, in fact that something has been recording the entire event to take back to the Queen who's watching over the paralyzed Rangers. The Pink Ranger now slowly takes out her star laser pistol and turns quickly to fire two quick pink blasts which quickly destroys the nosey crystallized eye.. The Pink Ranger says triumphantly.
Pink Ranger-Good!
She picks up the power cell and speaks.
Pink Ranger-I want you to tell me where my friends are.
Princess Andromeda-NEVER!
Pink Ranger-Either you tell me or I'll crush the cell.
Princess Andromeda gasps.
Princess Andromeda-You wouldn't dare!
Pink Ranger-Where are my friends?!
Princess Andromeda-Fine I'll tell you. But you won't get them back safely! My auntie will destroy you!
Pink Ranger-Go on and tell me.
Princess Andromeda-They are being held underground.. And that's all I'll tell you.
Pink Ranger-That's okay. It's all the information I need.
Princess Andromeda-What? You couldn't possible find them with so little information.
Pink Ranger-Wanna bet?
The Pink Ranger giggles and dissipates the power cell.. She contacts Lightwing immediately. He appears and says.
Lightwing-I heard everything.. I'm going to use my magic to scan the entire underground of this city.
Pink Ranger-I knew you were going to say that.
Lightwing uses his magic and it works very nicely I must say. Eventually he finds where the other Rangers are.. Queen Minerva has stepped away for a few minutes and when she returns she sees the Rangers are gone.. She screams out.
Queen Minerva-WHAT?! WHERE ARE THEY!?
The Rangers are all returned to the weather station thanks to Lightwing.. The Pink Ranger returns as well, she takes off her helmet and waits for Lightwing to use his magic to unfreeze them all. After they are freed, she explains everything to them.. She also materializes the power cell.. Everyone looks at it and hears Princess Andromeda's screaming protests.
Princess Andromeda-WHEN I GET OUT OF HERE, THERE WILL BE HELL TO PAY! I PROMISE THAT! AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
