A black vortex appeared in the ground. it was rotating and swirling just like a galaxy,with several miniature stars and planets lining the edges of the vortex. Julia's two monster's turned into balls of light and flew up into the air. They both slammed down into the center of the vortex and an explosion occurred.

Julia: XYZ Summon!

The massive monster appeared from the swirling vortex of stars and antimatter. The Figure coming out of it was Gigantic,it had to be at least 20 meters long and 25 centimeters across. this thing looked like it could barely fit through the vortex itself! The only thing comparable to its size was it's coveting appearance, as it was a golden color with strips of black covering it's sides.A giant spear protruded from his right arm, It was also gold but had tints of orange surrounding the tendon which connected its arm to the spear.

Her monster was an XYZ monster. Xyz monsters are beings that are summoned from the extra deck using two monsters of the same level, which counts as their rank when summoned. They certainly are a Quaint type of creature with most of them were used by eccentric people like julia… and yubie.

Julia: Ah, That look on your face. That look of utter astonishment and trepidation. It is…. So cute!

Julia held her own cheeks in excitement.

Cael: I'll be the first to admit it…. I didn't expect something like this from you.

Cael: Nonetheless, your monster only has about 1000 Atk! It can't stand up to mine!

Julia: Well…. About that.

Cael: (Dammit. Why do I say things too soon?)

Julia: Exa-Beetle has a special effect when he's summoned!

Julia: When he's brought to the field I can equip one monster from your graveyard to him!

Cael: Seriously?

Julia: Yup! And I think you know which one I'll choose!

A portal formed right before the giant inzektor. Zio rose up from said portal and was strung up like a puppet. He looked hypnotized, sad and distant.

Cael: Zio….

Julia: Inzektor Exa-beetle gains atk equal to half of the atk of the equipped monster!

Doing the math, Half of Zio's atk is 1250, so his total atk would be…

Julia: Hold on! You just thought "Oh, Thats not bad." didn't you?

Cael: Dammit! How do you keep doing that?

Julia: It's called women's intuition, Baby!

She exclaimed.

Julia: Speaking of intuition, I'll activate an equip spell!

A spell card materialized right in front of her.

A dual sided axe appeared in the right hand of inzektor exa-beetle! The axe had a long sharpened edges, which were made even more threatening by the coats of red and yellow surging throughout the hilt of the Axe.

Julia: This little cutie is called Inzektor axe - Zektahawk. He's a little naughty little boy just like you and he gives my monster 1000 more ATK points!

Cael: (Shit!)

Julia: I told you I wasn't playing around, didn't I?

Cael: I can tell you're taking this more seriously….. But even with one really strong monster, I don't think you can go all the way.

I looked down at my face down card which I placed a couple of turns ago. Even if she attacked me with her Exa-beetle, My facedown would protect me.

Julia: Gee. Could you be any more inconspicuous?

Cael: Huh?

Julia: I activate exa-beetle's other effect!

She proclaimed.

Julia: -By using one overlay unit I can destroy one card on the field!

Cael: A-Are you serious?

Julia: Do I look like the joking type?

Julia said with a mocking scowl. Alas, Julia was not kidding as the spear in the xyz monsters hand quickly turned into a missile and shot out towards my facedown.

*BOOM*
My face down card was suddenly turned to mush as a loud explosion rang out from the detonated missile.

Julia: Chaos burst huh? How irredeemable.

Julia said as she looked in my graveyard with her duel disk.

Cael: Dammit! How'd you know that it was a trap?

Julia: Oh you silly goober! I've been studying all of your strategies since you've entered this tournament!

Cael: Since I began? All that time?

Julia: Well, Duh. You did face off against my brother after all.

Cael: Oh yeah.

You know, I never really thought that someone like jermaine would have a sister like julia. Julia's so soft-natured and flirty, while Jermaine is conceited and perverted. They were two opposite.

Cael: Let me ask you something, Are you really mad about your brother losing? I mean seriously?

Julia: Hmm? What do you mean?

Cael: At the beginning of this duel, You said that you wanted revenge for his defeat but you've barely even mentioned him during this whole duel!

Julia: Ah. Him.

She said with a bored look on her face.

Julia: Well, I was kind of lying. I just wanted something interesting to say in front of the crowd.

Julia whispered to me.

Cael: Huh? Why would you do that?

Julia: Well, Just to spice things up a bit!

Cael: That was completely disrespectful to your brother though.

Julia: Why do you care?

Cael: Well because, I'm a big sibling myself and I think it's important to believe in your younger siblings.

Julia: Oh really?

Cael: Yes! Our siblings care about us! -And you should care about them back!

I exclaimed with a serious face.

Julia: Aw, It's cute of you to pretend that you care about my personal life!

Cael: …..

Julia: But unfortunately, The only thing I care about is experiencing a good, long, competitive match!

Julia emphasized.

Julia: -But anyway, enough about me! Let's destroy you! My Inzektor Exa-Beetle attacks your parallel hero dual laser!

Cael: Ah….!

The Spear on the exa-beetle's arm quickly turned into a long golden missile that stretched the full length of its body. Julia smiled as it launched from the monsters arm and headed towards my side of the field! I closed my eyes as the missile whisped through the air and exploded into my monster.
*BOOM*
My dual laser cried out as his body was engulfed by a huge explosion. I felt something as my magnificent monster was destroyed right in front of me, A feeling of guilt.

Cael LP: 6600

Cael: This is, Ugh….

I struggled to say anything as I recoiled back from the shockwave. I had nearly fallen down, as the special effects from the arena were so realistic! Julia meanwhile had a lustful, Concieted face that could only be described as pure bliss.

Julia: T-That will end my turn.

She set another card face down.

Cael: (This has been one heck of a duel so far….)

Julia: You know…. Insects truly are amazing creatures aren't they?

Julia: From Antlions to dragonflies, They cover a vast array of species and abilities. They can scale walls, Build Colonies and even swim underwater!

Julia: -And now I'm showing off their true power!

Julia exclaimed.

Cael: Their true power, huh?

Julia: Yup!

Cael: Heheh.

I began to laugh.

Julia: What's so funny?

Cael: Your insects are the little guys, and yet….. My big strong warriors seem to be having trouble with him! Haha! It's a bit funny in retrospect!

Julia …?

Cael: Maybe, I've gone insane! But this all seems hilarious to me!

Julia: Really? Then you must have weird a sense of humor like me!

Julia relished at my weird outburst.

Cael: - But regardless of whatever monster you throw at me, I'll still fight on!

At that moment I put my hand on deck and drew a card.

Cael: My turn! Draw!

I looked at the cards in my hand as I had drawn them. I currently had four cards in my hand, All of which could only stall my situation.

Julia had the upper hand at the moment with her powerful monster looming over me. Not only did he have over 3000 attack points, He also had the ability to destroy any card on the field. If I was gonna turn this situation around, I had to first create a defense.

Cael: (Parallel Warrior Stone-wenge….)

This monster was staring me right in the face. He was a progressive monster with the ability to survive one attack per turn. This was helpful but it could be rendered useless if Julia decides to destroy it with exa-beetle.

Cael: (Hmm….. I'll bait her out then.)

My eyes turned to a trap card in my hand - Breakthrough skill. Breakthrough skill was a card that could negate any monster's effect on the field. The great thing about it was that it could activate even if it was sent to the graveyard. So it wouldn't matter if Julia destroyed this card.

Cael: (Ok. I'll take a gambit. As long as julia destroys breakthrough skill, I should be fine)

Those thoughts rolled through my mind as I placed the breakthrough skill face down.

Cael: I'll set a monster and end my turn.

Julia: Awww. That such a simple turn! Setting a monster and a face down is so boring!

Julia exclaimed.

Cael: Well, I'm a simple guy.

Julia: I guess You could say that you're a simp?

Cael: What? No?

My face got flustered and looked away from julia.

Julia: Ah, You're so cute when you're flustered!

The girl said as she began her turn. She drew a card as expected and began whispering to herself.

Julia: *Whispering*

Julia: Yeah…. That'll do.

She confirmed to herself? Julia was very weird.

Julia: I'll activate Insect reborn!

Julia: This card allows me to bring an insect type monster back from the graveyard!

Cael: (I could've inferred that.)

From the graveyard, A shocking rift came through the ground. An humanoid like figure jumped out of the ground and took center stage as it unlocked the secrets of returning back to life.

Julia: I'll bring back inzektor hopper!

Julia: Now then… Are you ready for the real whopper?

Cael: Huh?

Julia: It's time for me to make another Breakthrough!

Julia: The next card I'll use is armor blast!

A spell card materialized on the field. It depicted an inzektor being blasted by an explosion.

Julia: By tributing one of my inzektor monsters, I can destroy two of your cards!

Cael: Ah!

I only had two cards on the field!

Julia: I'll tribute hopper and destroy both of your cards!

A blinding flash came from the point where the missile struck and a white cloud rose in the air.
*BANG*
A huge explosion rang out, When julia's inzektor hopper disappeared. It honestly felt like a bomb had gone off as everything on my side of the field was sucked into the core of the explosion. My trap card and my monster were both gone in a matter of seconds, Leaving me wide open.

Julia: *Tsk Tsk Tsk* Caely, I already saw your strategy coming from a mile a way!

Julia: I wonder when you'll realize that there's nothing you can do to stop me!

She winked at me with an eye that never seemed to stop watching.

Julia: Now my inzektor exa-beetle will obliterate you! Attack him directly!

An ominous sound came from the giant insect machine as it took two steps forward. The spear in its hand began to disengage, turning side to side in its axiom. A soft clanking sound echoed through the arena as Julia screeched "Fire" and an explosive force launched the missile forward.
