Chapter 155 A Thanksgiving to Remember Part 2
At the old weather station.. Jeremy is taking a break from his present work. He decides to go through the rooms of the place until he hears a knock at the front entrance. He goes to it and notices someone he knew a while back. Exclaiming with happiness, Jeremy unlocks the glass doors and opens them.. He says with great delight as he notices the person in a multicolored dress, reddish low heel shoes, and a wooly looking coat.
Jeremy-Jenny!
He gives her a hug and she starts speaking.
Jenny-Oh Jeremy it's so good to see you after all this time!
Jeremy-It's good to see you too.
They let go.
Jenny-Let me look at you.. It's been a long time since I have worked in this place.
Jeremy turns around fashionably to show off his nice looking blue jeans, and white buttoned shirt. Jenny playfully says.
Jenny-Nice. You're still handsome.
Jeremy chuckles.
Jeremy-Jeez Jenny it hasn't been that long.
Jenny-I know.. I know.
Jeremy-Damn, what brings you back here?
Jenny-I heard you still were here.. Even though this place is as dead as night.
Jeremy-Mmm. I don't know if you could say that.
Jenny-What do you mean?
Jeremy-Oh nothing.
Jenny-Joey still around too?
Jeremy-Yeah he is, but he's not here right now.
Jenny-Oh. I wanted to see both of you guys.
Jeremy-You were always so eager to get away from this place. You being here now kind of makes me think something is wrong.
Jenny-Oh Jeremy, always suspicious. There's nothing wrong.
Jeremy-Hmm.
Back on the flight Ryan's parents are on.. A rumbling is felt throughout the plane, which causes everyone inside to get a little scared.. Vivian exclaims.
Vivian-What was that!?
The stewardess assures everything not to panic because feeling a little turbulence is normal.
Suddenly a flaming dark power surge enters the plane and causes a massive light of blindness that disappears within seconds. And after the light is gone, the plane is found stopped as if all time had been frozen. But all time hasn't frozen because the people inside of first class are screaming their heads off practically. They witness the Grand Master Sinistar standing in the aisle way speaking.
Grand Master Sinistar-Starlight Energy, I feel it's presence!
The scared people all jump out of their seats and rush towards the back of the plane, which alerts people in second class and coach. And soon everyone is in the way back of the plane.
The evil master laughs as she makes her way towards the scared people. Then something stops her, a sharp yet dull pain to her back. She turns to see the pilot attempting to jab her with a dull like weapon.. She laughs and says.
Grand Master Sinistar-FOOLISH HUMAN!
She extends her hand and suddenly a dark force arises and forces the pilot to drop his weapon and move closer to her where her hand fills up with his neck.. The people start screaming and crying now, well some of them are crying at least, not all as they watch the evil master lift up the pilot and begin to crush his throat.
As she increases the pressure, some people start telling her to let him go, and some even attempt to challenge her, but when she turns to them her red dotted eyes glow and cause a strong dark force to arise once more and push them away to where they once stood as she says.
Grand Master Sinistar-STAY PUT, YOU INSECTS!
She turns back to the pilot and chuckles when she notices blood falling from his mouth. She says to him.
Grand Master Sinistar-Did you really think you could challenge me?! Hahaha! But luckily for you, I didn't come here to destroy you, although it would be delicious if I did. But I have more important matters at the present time!
She throws his body like he was a piece of trash into the cockpit where the copilot is still sitting and scared to death.
Now she turns back to the passengers.. Her eyes glow a superb redness which is enabling her to penetrate through the people to find out who has what she's looking for. When she finds the suspecting couple, she snaps her fingers and a glow appears which turns into a flash that only lasts about a second.
Vivian asks..
Vivian-Where are we Max?
Max responds and gasps.
Max-I think we're on the right wing of the plane!
Vivian-Oh my goodness! Is this all a dream?!
Max-It sure feels like it.
The same voice they heard along with seeing her horrible form speaks again throughout the frozen shadows.
Grand Master Sinistar-It is very much a reality!
Vivian exclaims with fright.
Vivian-Oh no, that monster is back!
Grand Master Sinistar laughs. And both Vivian and Max see her appear floating a few feet away from them.. She says.
Grand Master Sinistar-I am no mere monster, fool!
Vivian asks shakily.
Vivian-What do.. You.. Want?
Grand Master Sinistar-I want what you have hidden in a shroud of diamonds!
Vivian-Huh?
Grand Master Sinistar-You know what I'm talking about and if you value your puny pathetic life I suggest you give it to me at once!
Vivian-I.. don't. know. What. You're. Talking. about.
Grand Master Sinistar-Would you like to drop 30,000 feet? I highly doubt you'd survive it.
Max looks down and see's the plane has stopped right in midair, he gulps with sheer terror. Now he looks back at the grand master and says.
Max-Look whatever you want, please just take it. Only please spare our lives.
The grand master chuckles to herself and says to them both.
Grand Master Sinistar-Pathetic.
The Grand Master thunderously holds up her right arm and suddenly Vivian's purse starts to uplift from her arms. She exclaims again.
Vivian-No! What..
Now Grand Master Sinistar stops the purse magically and opens it. And out comes what she was looking for. What is it, is a fire dragon pendant. The master says with greatness.
Grand Master Sinistar-Yes, the burned out starlight will now belong to me!
Vivian's purse drops behind them on the plane wing. She says with sadness.
Vivian-That belongs to our son, Max.
Max responds.
Max-We can't just take it back from that creature.
Vivian-I wanted to give Ryan something that meant how much we love him.
Grand Master Sinistar's magic pulls the pendant closer to her.
Back at the old weather station, Jeremy and Jenny are talking in the break room.. That is, until Jeremy hears his computer beeping in the main computer room. He gets up quickly and Jenny asks.
Jenny-What's wrong Jeremy?
Jeremy-Um there's something I have to check.
Jenny-What?
Jenny becomes aware of the rapid beeping which has increased its sound.
Jenny-Where's that beeping coming from?
Jeremy-It's. I.. I really can't explain it right now, just stay here okay. I'll be right back.
Jenny-Okay, if you say so.
Jeremy doesn't know it yet, but Lightwing has appeared in the main computer room. He magically silents the computer and brings forth an image which is nothing but a pure blurr.
Jeremy makes it to the computer room, and to make sure Jenny doesn't follow he closes it shut and locks it. He then asks Lightwing.
Jeremy-Lightwing, trouble?
Lightwing says.
Lightwing-I sense a strong warped disturbance and apparently the computer did too. Problem is, it cannot be pinpointed.
Jeremy-Huh? It can't?
Lightwing-No.
Jeremy-What do you suggest?
Lightwing-At the moment I'm just going to have to think.
Jeremy nods in agreement.
Lightwing-What you can do is, alert the Rangers, make sure they're on guard.
Jeremy-Okay. Good idea.
He sits down at his computer and looks at the blurr, he then taps into the communication frequency to contact all of the Power Rangers.
Ryan is just walking out of the grocery store with a couple of bags filled with thanksgiving food. He makes it to his car just as soon as his communicator goes off. He sighs and says.
Ryan-Aww man, grr!
Nakia, Zelda and Kimberly are still talking on the phone when all three become aware of their communicators beeping. Nakia grunts and says on the phone.
Nakia-Evil never takes a break does it! Ugh!
The three quickly hang up their phones to answer their communicators.
Joey is taking pictures of Southside homeless people when his communicator goes off and finally Chet is at his place writing letters when he's alerted from the sound of his communicator.
Back on the plane which has stopped due to Sinistar's power. The red dragon pendant is almost within her evil grasp when all of a sudden it begins to radiate strong red light energy. The evil master becomes puzzled by this and says.
Grand Master Sinistar-What's this!?
The red light energy expands and becomes almost blinding.. Vivian and Max scream out because they think they're going to die, and the other people in the plane scream out as well because they were watching through the windows as this is happening.
The red light energy then begins to break apart into separate pieces which when completely free, those pieces swirl around the plane.
The evil master growls with intense anger and attempts to blast the swirling red light energy and ends up missing.
Grand Master Sinistar-DAMN IT!
She now gets severely angry and floats up a few feet away from the plane.
Grand Master Sinistar-FINE! IF I CAN'T HAVE THE STARLIGHT THEN I WILL DECIMATE THOSE HUMANS AND THE PLANE THAT CARRIES THEM!
She magnificently powers up and it begins to show through both of her hands, now as she raises them high above her head, a dark force appears and is absorbed so that her hands glow brilliantly. Now she points both of her hands at the plane below her and releases a horrid amount of supreme dark power in the form of a concentrated dark energy wave.
The swirls of red light energy acts fast, they come together on top of the plane's middle surface where they form into a huge glittering red star which is acting as a shield to protect the people inside. And as soon as the dark energy gets close, the plane along with its protector the giant red star all disappear.
When the master realizes what has happened, she becomes furious and retracts her dangerous power. She says with anger.
Grand Master Sinistar-NO! NO! NO!
She calms down a bit to think.. When she comes up with an idea she says with great assurance
Grand Master Sinistar-I'll track the energy trail the starlight left and intercept it so that I may guide it the place of my picking!
She chuckles and waves her hand which sounds a thunderous clash as she disappears.
Six beams of light, red, yellow, pink, black, white and blue all appear on the ceiling of the old weather station within the main computer. Those six beams of light streak downward to the floor where they transform into Ryan, Nakia, Zelda, Chet, Kimberly and Joey.
Jenny is still waiting in the other room but the commotion she starts to hear makes her want to get up to see what's going on with Jeremy in the main computer room.
Speaking of the main computer room, Ryan is asking a lot of questions mainly out of frustration because he wanted time to at least prepare for thanksgiving. Jeremy responds to everyone after each Ranger gives their questions.
Jeremy-Calm down everyone, please.
A sound on the main computer is heard.. Everyone looks and see's the blurr has disappeared.. Jeremy says.
Jeremy-Lightwing, the blurr, its gone.
Lightwing becomes puzzled a little bit.
Lightwing-Hmmm. I wish I knew what was going on. I know Sinistar is responsible. But what in the world could she be up to now. Hmm.
He turns to the Rangers and says.
Lightwing-Ryan, Nakia, Zelda, Kimberly, Chet and Joey. You all should morph. I have an extremely terrible feeling about all of this.
Ryan grunts under his breath.
Ryan-I wish Sinistar would just go away. She always has to ruin everything.
Nakia hears him and puts her hand on his shoulder sympathetically.
Ryan steps in front of his friends and asks them all.
Ryan-Ready?
Nakia, Zelda, Chet, Kimberly and Joey all respond at once.
Nakia, Zelda, Chet, Kimberly and Joey-Ready!
Ryan is about to make the call when a question hits his mind.. He asks Lightwing.
Ryan-Lightwing, what exactly are we supposed to do after we morph?
Lightwing-I just want you to be ready because like I said before. I have a terrible feeling about all of this.
Ryan-Alright.
They hear knocking coming from the locked door.
Jenny-Jeremy what's going on in there?
Jeremy exclaims but to himself.
Jeremy-Damn!
Nakia whispers to Jeremy.
Nakia-Who's that?
Jeremy responds in an equal whisper.
Jeremy-That's Jenny. She used to work here.
Joey's eyes grow large for a second as he absorbs the shock of Jenny coming back around. He asks.
Joey-Jenny?
He shakes his head in disbelief then asks again.
Joey-Jenny Smith?!
Jeremy nods.
Jeremy-Yeah.
Joey-Oh man we can't transform here. We'd better find another spot.
Ryan nods his head and says in agreement.
Ryan-You're right Joey. It's too risky, she might be able..
Ryan spoke too soon. You see what I mean by that is.. Jenny has unlocked the door, and she opens it. She walks in twirling around her old pass key. She notices everyone inside except for Lightwing because he quickly used his magic to put himself in a cage hanging out of view behind the large computer.
Jenny-Who are you all? What's going on in here?
She notices the mega computer Jeremy is sitting at.
Jenny-Whoa Jeremy! Where'd you get that computer?
Jeremy sighs and says.
Jeremy-Jenny it's a long story. A story you'd find really boring.
Jenny-Oh I don't know about that.
Back at the underground base.. Princess Andromeda is in her room looking at her wounds through her mirror which is hanging on the left side of the rocky wall. Makozi appears and says.
Makozi-The evil master is not kind at all, not even to us.
The Princess starts to look very sad. She says.
Princess Andromeda-You know with just a certain look from her, she could destroy us instantly.
Makozi-I know.
Princess Andromeda-But its just times like..
She points out her hideous wound and continues on.
Princess Andromeda-This that makes me wonder why I'm on the side of evil in the first place. I wasn't always like this!
Makozi nods.
Princess Andromeda-I don't even know why I became evil.
Makozi-I know why.
Princess Andromeda looks at Makozi through her mirror because she wants her to explain. And so Makozi does.
Makozi-You thought it would be a thrill.
Princess Andromeda-That. And I believed Aunt Minerva. She told me my parents wanted to send me away because I wasn't acting properly like my sister Ariel. She told me they hated me and wanted nothing more to do with me because they felt I was too wild to control. I know I acted crazy sometimes but I really didn't believe it till the very end when my mother and father told me they had a surprise for me. I thought they were about to send me away, that's why I betrayed them and allowed Minerva to take her revenge.
Her tone hardens as tears start to flow from her eyes.
Princess Andromeda-Draining the energy out of every living thing.
Makozi-I know..
Princess Andromeda-I also joined her evil forces because I thought she cared for me. Which I realized wasn't true.
Makozi nods again.
Princess Andromeda-I wish I would of paid more attention on why they banished her, but it was at the very end when I truly understood. And by that time, it was too late.
Tears start to flow from her eyes as she continues.
Princess Andromeda-I betrayed my home world and my parents because I believed Minerva's lies! And I feel really bad for it all now.
Makozi-I know you're having a change of heart, but how will you be able to escape the evil master?
Princess Andromeda-I don't know. I don't know. Umm. What about you? Do you feel the same way I do?
Makozi-Actually I do. Even though thinking like this could end our lives, I still want to be free.
Princess Andromeda-Maybe we can think of something together to get away from Grand Master Sinistar.
Makozi-I don't know. It frightens me.
Princess Andromeda-I understand.
Princess Andromeda's personal mirror that's a few feet away from her starts to flash. It floats up towards the two and with a large quick flash it dissipates the Princess and Makozi along with it itself as everything fades to black..
