Chapter 156 A Thanksgiving to Remember Part 3
Flashing appears in a beautiful heavenly void, and what I mean by heavenly is this. The place has a soft look to it, also pleasant and peaceful, although there seems to be no life around, it still looks most pleasing. The flashing halts and reveals, Princess Andromeda, Makozi and her mirror.. Makozi asks as she looks around the heavenly void.
Makozi-Where are we?
The Princess responds in the most unsure way as she too looks at their surroundings.
Princess Andromeda-I don't know.
They hear a very familiar voice lurking around the good feeling within the void.
Princess Ariel-You are within the magical soul fields. A place I now call home.
Princess Andromeda gasps.
Princess Andromeda-Ariel?!
Princess Ariel-Yes it is me.
A transparent figure begins to reveal itself floating a few feet away from Andromeda and Makozi. When it's completely into view, they really see Princess Ariel looking more like a pleasant ghost than a live Princess as she once was. Andromeda asks.
Princess Andromeda-Did you bring us here?
Princess Ariel-Yes, because I heard your cry for help deep within your hearts. I know what you said is true.
Princess Andromeda's eyes start to fill with tears.. She says frantically.
Princess Andromeda-I am truly sorry for everything. I just wish I could reverse time to prevent everything bad I did.
Princess Ariel-The point now is you have realized your mistake and are willing to change.
Princess Andromeda-Oh yes, very much!
The ghostly figure looks at Makozi and says.
Princess Ariel-I looked into your heart too Makozi. For all this time, even before my untimely death, I knew you only followed the evil side because you didn't want to suffer the same fate as most of the other fairies at the hand of Queen Minerva. Your services were only fueled by fear.
Makozi's eyes water as she says.
Makozi-Yes, you're right..
Andromeda asks Ariel now.
Princess Andromeda-But sister, how can we safely be away from Sinistar? She is quite unbelievably powerful.
Princess Ariel looks at Andromeda again and responds to her question.
Princess Ariel-For you only to be truly safe from evil's hand..
Princess Ariel holds out both of her hands and suddenly two golden beams of light appear and strike her hands. The golden beams now begin forming into two unknown items which will be revealed when the beams are finished. After a few more seconds of waiting, the golden beams have finished their job and what are seen now in Princess Ariel's transparent hands are two beautiful looking spherical crystals with just a hint of gold glowing in the center. She says.
Princess Ariel-These are star hearts.
Makozi gasps and Princess Andromeda looks at them with astonishment. Now, Andromeda asks.
Princess Andromeda-What do we do with them?
Princess Ariel-Let the star hearts fill your soul with absolute goodness so that the evil you have left lingering will be completely washed away.
Makozi-What happens after that?
Princess Ariel-The star hearts will become your life line of pure goodness. They will become your very thread of existence.
Princess Andromeda-What?
Princess Ariel-Yes, but they will also protect you from the evil side.. So Sinistar will not be able to detect your presence. She will only know you in memory.
She really starts to reflect on Sinistar and her power, so she continues.
Princess Ariel-Yet.. I have never seen a creature like her before in the Universe.. So if she does manage to find you, your star heart energy will reflect as a power.. Use it wisely. And I must tell you this.. Your star heart energy will only reflect as a power if you believe in it, do not fear the evil, just believe in the power and it will work for you.
Princess Andromeda and Makozi nods their head as in saying they understand Ariel's words.
Princess Ariel allows the star hearts to float over to Andromeda and Makozi.. She tells them once they get close enough to them both.
Princess Ariel-Now, accept your new destiny! Cleanse your souls once and for all.
Andromeda and Makozi close their eyes as the star hearts enter their bodies.. Suddenly golden flashes appear from them both, and they become so intense that only thing that can be seen now is a blindness of gold. They hear Princess Ariel say one last thing.
Princess Ariel-Good luck to you both..
The blindness of gold disappears, and what can be seen now is two slightly unconscious women laying on the ground within an empty park.
In a large underground dwelling with darkness as its only companion, a red power wave appears, then soon after, the power wave turns into the red starlight with the plane inside of its core. The red starlight loses its shine and becomes a plain red dragon pendant like before.
The only two people on the right wing are Ryan's parents, Vivian and Max. The other people are still inside of the plane not wanting to peek out of the windows due to fear. Vivian looks around the dark and dingy place and asks.
Vivian-This can't be heaven, can it Max?
Max looks around and says.
Max-Looks more like hell to me.
Vivian-Does that mean we're dead?
Max-I really hope not.
Vivian-Where is that monster? The one with the obvious skeletal head.
Max-You really want to know where she is?
Vivian thinks for a minute then says.
Vivian-No, I don't. I just want to get out of here.
Max looks around and notices down the way, three openings. He says.
Max-Vivian, look!
He points at the three openings.. Vivian looks and says.
Vivian-Three ways to get out?
Max-Either that, or three ways to die.
Vivian-Oh stop thinking like that!
Max-I really don't have a choice with the situation we're in.
Vivian says.
Vivian-Oh I want to get off of this wing, but I'm scared to touch the ground now.
Max-Me too.
Everyone hears a familiar voice, but laughing. When it stops, the voice is heard speaking.
Grand Master Sinistar-Oh you humans, how interesting you are. I'll let you in on a secret of mine.. You are within my caverns, by will I just created. And yes there are three openings but only one will allow you to leave safely. Two are most unpleasant. An opening leads to me, another opening leads to my giant black widow's domain and I must warn you, she's quite hungry.
She chuckles then goes on.
Grand Master Sinistar-If you humans choose the opening that will lead you away from here I will set you free. But if you choose the opening that leads to my pet, Petunia I'm afraid she'll make lunch out of you and the starlight will be mine.. And if you happen to choose the opening that will lead you to me I'll destroy you all and capture the starlight! So you have three choices.. I am being, most fair.
She laughs again.
Grand Master Sinistar-This is much better than simply just taking the red starlight away from you.. Hahahaha.. Oh what fun! Do enjoy, and remember this as in incentive- if you annoy me by taking your time I will fill wherever you are standing with molten lava! So hurry, before your time on earth runs out! Hahaha!
Her voice fades away.
Everyone in the plane starts to panic, and so do Vivian and Max.
We now go to Grand Master Sinistar.. She's sitting on a very large throne in the shape of a skull with flames lit inside of both optic holes. And by her side is a very large black widow spider.. Her spider begins to show signs of impatient whimpering, so the evil master puts her hands on the black widow's head and pats it as she says.
Grand Master Sinistar-Patience my pet. Those humans won't make it out of here alive! Half will come to me, and half will go to you.. I know this because they will be foolish enough to want to split up.. Hahaha! And then you'll have a feast you shall never forget!
The black widow makes a few noises as a way of communicating with the Grand Master.. She responds.
Grand Master Sinistar-Yes, do not worry. If the Rangers should interfere I already have a plan that won't fail.
She chuckles.
Back at the old weather station.
Thinking to himself in his cage, Lightwing decides to cast a spell on Jenny so that she falls asleep right where she stands. When the others find Jenny to be in really deep sleep, Lightwing reappears and explains why he cast the spell, and they all understand. Now, Lightwing places Jenny back in the other room where she is now sleeping on the couch. Ryan, Nakia, Zelda, Kimberly, Chet and Joey now morph into the Red, Yellow, Pink, White, Black and Blue Power Rangers.. Only thing they can do now, is wait till they find something on the computer.
At Ryan's apartment, both his Uncle and Aunt are unpacking the bags of groceries Ryan had bought a while ago for thanksgiving. Uncle Clyde is wearing a pair of old looking blue jeans, a normal white shirt with no designs at all, and plain ol socks. Aunt Millie is wearing a long comfortable unfashionable dress with a light blue as its dominating color and no shoes or socks.
Clyde is in the kitchen putting the turkey in the refrigerator when Mille asks.
Millie-Where did Ryan have to go so soon?
Clyde responds just as he closes the door and goes back to unpacking more food.
Clyde-I don't know. He said it was an emergency.
Millie-Hmm. I wish he told us about it.
Clyde-Don't worry Millie. I'm sure the boy has good reason.. His girlfriend could be sick or something.
Millie-Yeah.
Millie clears her throat as she takes out the items needed to prepare the dressing and says after she finishes clearing her throat.
Millie-You think Ryan would be upset if I started his dinner?
Clyde says.
Clyde-Um yeah he would. He wants to do this on his own. I just hope his damn parents don't disappoint him for the umpteenth million time.
Millie-I am trying to be really positive about all of this, even though I know if Vivian and Max show up, Ryan will be devastated because they won't spend any time with him.
Clyde nods his head in agreement.
Clyde-Maybe we should tie them to their chairs then?
Millie chuckles.
Millie-That might work.
Kaitlynn and Amy are walking out of the library with two medium stacks of cook books.. Amy asks.
Amy-Why did you check out so many?
Kaitlynn responds.
Kaitlynn-This is my first thanksgiving where I'm doing all the cooking. I just want to be totally confident that I won't mess up. And to make sure of that I'm going to go through every last cookbook I have now.
Amy-Jeez, these are heavy Kaitlynn.
Kaitlynn-I know that. I have a stack of my own you know.
Amy-Are we really going to carry these all the way to your place?
Kaitlynn-Of course not. We're going to catch a bus.
Amy sighs.
Kaitlynn-Don't blame me Amy. You're the one who found all these books for me.
Amy-If I had known it was going to be this tough I would of told you there was no such thing as cookbooks.
They both laugh a bit.
Suddenly as they start to walk across the parking lot, they both hear a familiar voice.
Todd-You ladies need a ride?
They turn to see a red Jeep right behind them.. Kaitlynn spots Todd but she can't really see the other person sitting in the back seat. She exclaims, and so does Amy.
Kaitlynn-Todd! Oh goodness am I glad to see you!
Amy-Me too!
Todd-Come on in, I'll take you home.
Kaitlynn-How'd you know we were here?
Todd-For one.
Another car beeps on the other side because they want to get past Kaitlynn and Amy. The two notice and quickly get into Todd's jeep. Amy is in the front and Kaitlynn is in the back not really taking notice of the person. Todd says as he starts to drive away.
Todd-As I was saying. I knew at least Amy was going to be here so I thought I'd come to see if you were here too Kaitlynn.
Kaitlynn-Oh. But why were you looking for me?
Todd-I'm shocked you haven't looked at who's sitting right next to you.
Kaitlynn realizes she's been kind of rude, so she turns to the person and who she see's shocks her with so much intensity that she feels faint, instead she just looks at the person with utter stillness.
Amy turns around too, and she has the expression on her face, except her eyes look like they want to burst out of their sockets.
Kaitlynn speaks but her voice sounds slightly frozen.
Kaitlynn-I.. don't. believe.. It..
Amy gulps in trying to swallow her disbelief about who's sitting next to Kaitlynn. She blinks her eyes twice but says nothing.
Todd just keeps driving on..
Back to the two women who were laying on the ground in an empty park are now aware of where they are.. One, Princess Andromeda who looks slightly different in appearance looks around, and Makozi looks more like a Princess herself with her long golden blonde hair and sparkling blue eyes. Both of them have been put in heavenly white gowns.
Andromeda says.
Andromeda-I feel so much better now.
Makozi responds.
Makozi-I look and feel better.
Andromeda-The star hearts worked.
Makozi-Let's blend in with the other inhabitants of this world.
Andromeda-Let's..
They don't know this, but as soon as they awoken, a flash of power filled the sky only for a second, as if warning a pair of red dotted like eyes of new star heart energy on the earth. Those red dotted eyes appeared over them to absorb the information. And now the scene takes us back to the evil master where she still sits upon her throne..
Grand Master Sinistar-What's this new energy I sense!?
She gets up quickly and continues to speak.
Grand Master Sinistar-The energy shines brighter than any starlight I have ever sensed!
She calms down.
Grand Master Sinistar-Still I'd better get the red starlight before hunting this new energy down..
She sits back down on her throne and says.
Grand Master Sinistar-Come to me humans.. Come meet your impending doom!
Speaking of the people Sinistar has trapped in her domain, Vivian and Max discuss the issue at hand.. She suggests.
Vivian-Why don't we just give that monster what she wants.
Max-I really don't think that's a good idea.
Vivian-Oh you don't think anything is a good idea.
Max-That's not true.
Vivian-Then what should we do?
Max-I think we'd better move because I really do believe she'd kill us with molten lava.
He sighs.
Max-I wish the Power Rangers were here.
Vivian says doubtfully.
Vivian-Power Rangers? The Rangers are just something someone made up.
Max-Oh? And I suppose that monster who brought us here is fake too, right?
Vivian-Well. I guess not.
Max-Let's get moving, I'll get the other people from the plane out so we can pick a way out of here.
Vivian-But Max, what if we choose the wrong opening?
Max looks at Vivian with penetrating eyes.. He says nothing for a couple of seconds, but then he snaps out of his temporary trance and says.
Max-With the grace of god, we'll choose the right one.
Max gets off of the wing.. He then goes into the plane to calm down the frantic people and explain what they must do, and soon.
Now, everything fades to black.
