Chapter 161 Allies and Foes
Ryan has just seen his parents off on a plane.. The girl his mother had wanted him to meet, Cheryl did arrive in Terra Falls, only to be put on a plane to Paris with Vivian and Max. You see the whole point of it is, is this. Vivian thinks Cheryl is a refined person, and not only that, but Cheryl does have a great deal of money.. Let me rephrase that.. Cheryl's parents have a great deal of money and Vivian is basically acting as matchmaker for a cash fee. So off to Paris they go back to help find Cheryl a man since Ryan doesn't want to have anything to do with her. And why should he? He already has a girl he is so deeply in love with.
To get his mind off of things, he looks through an old cabinet in his apartment.. One that has a lot of old stuff in it, like memorabilia type things.. He stops rummaging through the cabinet when he finds a camping brochure. Well its not really a brochure, its more of an advertisement urging people to camp out under Mount Sky.. A place where is seldom seen because no one really goes around those parts. Ryan reads the advertisement and smiles when he says.
Ryan-Hey this is perfect!
He also notices a picture of him in his football uniform.. And remembers something that hasn't really bothered him.. It's the fact that he wasn't accepted in the semi pro football team, he cared at first, but now, he just scoffs at it and goes back to reading the camping advertisement.
Back at the old abandoned building.. Andromeda and Makozi are frightened at the ghostly voice they feel hovering over them. Andromeda immediately suggests.
Andromeda-Let's get out of here.
They hear another voice..
Commander Xangora-You two aren't going anywhere.
With great speed and out of no where, two golden lasso like whips appear and capture both Andromeda and Makozi's hands.. The whips has transformed into golden handcuffs which are proving to be really hard to break.
Andromeda-UGHH! No!
With the power of the light star, Andromeda, Makozi and the voices all disappear.
Back at the weather station..
Jeremy exclaims when Ryan brings up the camping issue.
Jeremy-Camping!? I don't like it.
Ryan-Why not?
Jeremy-Because I just don't.
Ryan-Aww come on, it'll be fun.
Jeremy-Are you forgetting we have trouble on our hands?
Ryan-Jeremy, that doesn't mean we can't take the time to relax.
Jeremy-I guess. But I don't want to go. I'd rather stay here and find out more about the hot white wave.
Ryan-All right, and you know if any trouble does show up, contact me and the others.
Jeremy-I know Ryan.
Jeremy stops for a minute then asks.
Jeremy-Um how are you going to get the others to go with you?
Ryan-They'll go.. I know it.
Jeremy-Good luck.
Right underneath Mount Sky is a large cavern like opening.. Inside are the now five light star warriors and their captured prisoners.
Commander Xangora looks around to make sure the coast is really clear.. She says.
Commander Xangora-I think we'll be safe here for now.
Onizites asks.
Light Star Warrior Onizites-What are we doing?! We have to take the prisoners back to Sinistar.
Commander Xangora-And we will.. Just not right now.
Light Star Warrior Reflector-What's your meaning Commander?
Xangora looks at them all and says.
Commander Xangora-If she wants..
She points at Andromeda and Makozi who are sitting a few feet away from them and continues.
Commander Xangora-Those two so badly.. Then she must agree to our terms.
Light Star Warrior Banshee-What terms?
Commander Xangora-We need this planet's energy residue.. And all of you know it!
Light Star Warrior Onizites-Do you really think she's going to let us gather the core energy of this world? She has already claimed it for herself.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-And there is no way our powers can defeat her.
Commander Xangora-We might have a fighting chance..
She opens up her hands and reveals many beautiful looking crystallized seeds with marvelous bright colors. She continues on to say.
Commander Xangora-With the power of the planetary seeds we already have.
The others start to think.. Then Mzin says.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-Even if we attempt to use the power.. It might not be enough.. Besides we can't use any of the power because we need it to…
Commander Xangora immediately gives the gesture which signals Mzin to keep his mouth shut. She remembers the two black diamonds she has in her possession.. She starts to realize that since they have the power to track down anything.. They might have the ability to spy.. So instead of saying anything she immediately rushes out of the entrance way and hurls the two diamonds away. The diamonds do something no one expects, they become a puff of black smoke that turns into two hideous looking demonic beasts with wings.. Xangora gasps.
Commander Xangora-No! You're not going back to your master!
She raises her hands and conjures a heat light storm to arise and engulf the two demonic beasts into an oblivious explosion.. When she puts her hands down, the heat lights disappear.
Now, Xangora turns back to her comrades.
Commander Xangora-It's a good thing I threw those two black diamonds away.. They were really spies.. And now that they're gone, we shouldn't have much to fear.
Onizites asks.
Light Star Warrior Onizites-What if she finds us?
Commander Xangora-We won't hide Onizites. We want to return to her.. But we'll only give her what she wants if she agrees to our terms.
Banshee adds.
Light Star Warrior Banshee-You still haven't told us what our terms are supposed to be.
Commander Xangora clears her throat and says.
Commander Xangora-We'll return the prisoners if she won't interfere with us draining the energy from this planet's core..
Light Star Warrior Reflector-But what about the Rangers?
Commander Xangora-Who cares about them. We know good and well they didn't destroy our planet..
The others nod in agreement.
Commander Xangora-And the only reason why we agreed to capture those two fools is to get her to agree to our terms!
Light Star Warrior Mzin-Sinistar is strong. Do you really think we'll be able to get the energy we need?
Commander Xangora-Yes, I believe so. As strong as she is, she must have a weakness.
Light Star Warrior Banshee-And if we don't find it?
Commander Xangora-Then we'll have to work extra hard at our mission.. For if we don't get enough earth energy so that it can form into a planetary seed.. Then we'll never be able to conjure the powers of the Silver Moonlight.. Never!
Light Star Warrior Reflector-Clever plan to lie about our people being in another dimension..
Commander Xangora-Of course. If we had told her the real reason why we gather the energy she would of taken the planetary seeds for herself.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-That's true.
Commander Xangora-And I know she lied as well.. The Power Rangers have the very essence of star power within their souls.. They are good beings.. If they were not, they wouldn't have the light of the stars burning within them. So that leads me to believe she, Sinistar is the one who destroyed our planet.
Everyone gasps.
Andromeda hears all of this and she says while still sitting on the ground bounded by golden cuffs.
Andromeda-You're right.. She's positively evil. She destroys everything in her path..
Xangora looks at Andromeda and walks over to her.. She says.
Commander Xangora-Are you a soldier in her army?
Andromeda-I was. And I am very ashamed of it.
Commander Xangora-Why did you betray your master?
Andromeda-She's not my master anymore.
Makozi adds.
Makozi-We both wanted to leave.. Sinistar cares for no one.. She cares for absolutely nothing but herself and her ways. We had to leave or we would have been doomed to follow her path.
Andromeda-Please, won't you let us go? We are trying to live without the evil in our lives.
Commander Xangora-I'm sorry. But we can't let you go. We have to keep you away from Sinistar until she agrees to our terms, then we must turn you over to her.
Andromeda pleads immensely.
Andromeda-No! You can't! She'll destroy us! Please, I don't want to die knowing all of my faults in life have not been made up for! I am changed. We have star heart energy in our bodies which has cleansed our souls.. Please let us be..
Xangora nods in saying she understands, yet she says.
Commander Xangora-I don't know, but I do know you have star heart energy. We all have such energy. Only our energy is that of the light of a star.. It is our very essence of life.
Makozi-Can't we join forces.. Join our powers as one to get rid of Sinistar?
Commander Xangora-There is only one hope.. One hope in the entire universe.
Andromeda-What? The Rangers?
Commander Xangora-Yes, the Rangers.. And the Silver Moonlight Powers..
Andromeda-Then that is actually two hopes..
Commander Xangora-I suppose.
Andromeda-But anyway why do you want those powers?
Commander Xangora-We need those powers to rid our universe of the evil.. And Sinistar is the master of it. Let me tell you a little bit about us.. You see.. Long ago when our planet was sleeping which was basically because of a curse, we fled to find a way to awaken our people.. Sadly we found nothing and when we returned we found our planet in complete ruin. Nothing was left but tiny specs of green residue. Filled with anger, we wanted revenge, and we knew if we could find the Silver Moonlight power, revenge would be ours when we found the one who destroyed our world. We have traveled through many galaxies searching for the Silver Moonlight Star power until we learned something extraordinary. And that find turned out to be knowledge. And that was finding out that the residue of our planet carried a special spark.. A spark that could be rekindled completely into a new form, a planetary seed. Soon after, we found out planetary seeds are the only thing that could resurrect the Silver Moonlight Powers, so we went throughout galaxies collecting energies that formed into seeds of beautiful brightness.
Banshee adds.
Light Star Warrior Banshee-We do not destroy planets for their residue. We simply collect energy residues at their cores which work nicely as planetary seeds.
Andromeda asks Xangora.
Andromeda-How did you know Sinistar was the one who destroyed your planet? I mean how did you know this for entirely sure?
Commander Xangora-The strength of her power.. The scent of our planet's destructive energy sits upon her body.
Andromeda-You mean you sense your planet's destructive power on her?
Commander Xangora-Yes and it is very high.. So now we must think of a way to.
Makozi interrupts her.
Makozi-Why not ask the Rangers for help?
Commander Xangora-The Rangers? I don't think they'd like the idea of us draining some of the earth's core energy for a planetary seed.
Makozi-If you explain everything to them, they might help you and protect you against Sinistar.. Their powers surpass hers by a thousand fold.
Andromeda-That is true. They have survived every battle Sinistar has thrown to them.
Commander Xangora-Hmm. Perhaps we shall seek the aid of the Rangers.. After all it is one of their own line we seek.. The Silver Moonlight Power.
Back at her home base.. Sinistar becomes very angry.. She throws her power around like nothing..
Supreme Master Sinistar-UGHH! WHY HAVE THE EYES GONE OUT!
She calms down to think..
Supreme Master Sinistar-So.. The Light Star Creatures.. Hmmm.. Perhaps they betrayed their word to me and destroyed my black diamonds.
She chuckles.
Supreme Master Sinistar-Oh how this world spawns such treachery! No matter.
Her eyes glow supremely red as she says now.
Supreme Master Sinistar-I will destroy them all.. I need a new army! Yes a new army indeed.
In the back of Ryan's car.. His trunk is filled tons of camping equipment from food to sleeping bags, his friends fill his back seat, and he along with Nakia sit in the front of course.
Nakia says after shockingly looking at her camping clothes which is a pair of green pants, a yellowish green looking army shirt, dark boring looking shoes, and a black jacket. And I must say everyone else in the car is wearing similar clothes with respects to their ranger colors.
Nakia-I can't believe you talked me into going camping Ryan.. I have never been camping in my life!
Ryan chuckles.
Ryan-Well now's the time to enjoy it.. And learn to appreciate it.
Kimberly, from the back says.
Kimberly-Ryan's kind of right.. I went camping before.. When I was a counselor at Camp Turnaround.. Hmm.. Although it turned out to be a battle against one of Sinistar's Generals. I had to fight him to protect those guys. And I won all by myself.
She smiles greatly and begins to remember it like it was yesterday.
Flashback:
She raises her hand and shouts out.
Kimberly-WHITE STARLIGHT POWER NOW!
Soon a flash of white lighting appears and strikes Kimberly's risen hand. Her body begins to glow completely white as Brad and his friends watch with amazement. When Kimberly's body stops glowing she has been completely transformed into the White Ranger.
General Crimson swings his sword at the White Ranger but she blocks the hit with her Phoenix Bow. She then uses her strength to push his sword away and immediately gives him a side kick to his stomach. He is pushed back a bit, just far enough so the White Ranger is able to leap up into the sky. She says.
White Ranger-I'VE HAD IT WITH YOU!
She places her bow in front of her as an image of the very powerful Phoenix appears. She then fires three arrows at once.. The arrows plunge into General Crimson's chest and cause his body to surge and set off small explosions. The White Ranger then raises her bow above her head as it starts glowing superbly white, when she gets close enough she gives Crimson a super fiery hit that causes him to fall.
The White Ranger lands and turns around with her weapon in hand as General Crimson lands on his back in a fiery explosion..
She then quickly makes sure Brad, Ben and James are okay. General Crimson disappears. And later on, when they get back to camp. Brad and his friends thank Kimberly again.
End of Flashback:
Kimberly sighs to herself and asks.
Kimberly-Hmm. I wonder how Brad and the others are doing nowadays.
Ryan has taken the road that will lead them straight to Mount Sky.. To be more exact, they will have to get through the park area before making it close to Mount Sky's domain.
Nakia decides to ask a question after seeing the others talking with one another in the back.. Her question comes out in a whisper.
Nakia-How you holdnig up?
Ryan responds in an equal whisper.
Ryan-I'm fine babe. That's why I'm going camping..
Nakia-Ryan.. I hate to say this. But I think you're just using this as a farce.. To shield how you're really feeling about your parents going back to paris and your mother not really liking me.
Ryan-Hey If she can't realize what a great person you are then that's her own fault. I mean.. I have made it so many years without their help and I'll continue to go on.
He takes a hold of her hand with his free hand and gives it a little squeeze as he says.
Ryan-The only person I need in my life absolute.. Is you.
Nakia smiles.
Back at Sinistar's home base.. There are several same looking creatures.. These new creatures are big and very strong looking, their bodies are covered in a green hard shelled skin with a touch of bumps and plain ugliness, their faces resemble that of warped looking pigs with huge snouts. And they are all equipped with powerful looking wings. They are speaking until the master raises her hand and says.
Supreme Master Sinistar-Gorezons, be silent!
Now nothing is heard.
Supreme Master Sinistar-You are here alive to serve my throne! Find those who have betrayed me and bring me no more of them than their remains!
One of the Gorezons who looks bigger and meaner than the others steps up and bows.. He says in a grundy snort tone.
Lead Gorezon-As you command my Queen. We shall sniff the traitors out and rip their bodies apart so that nothing more is left than their hearts! I swear my life on it..
Supreme Master Sinistar-No need to say that.. Your life and the lives of the rest of your kind have already been established as burned out if you fail!
They all start groaning out in fear..
Supreme Master Sinistar-Now go, and do not disappoint me!
Lead Gorezon-We shall not..
He bows again then leads the rest of the gross looking warriors out of the base with great speed..
Everything fades to black.
