Chapter 162 Danger Mounting at Mount Sky
Ryan and the others have finally made it to their camping grounds many miles below the cavern like opening under Mount Sky. They all get out of the car to unpack their camping gear. 30 minutes pass and after everything is set up, like their tents which everyone has one, two of them will be selected to go and look for fire wood so dinner can be prepared soon.
The Gorezons fill the blue sky, passing through the city of Terra Falls, the leader sniffs the air and smells the traitors of Sinistar far away.. So he leads his army closer to the scent.
Zelda and Kimberly hike through the woods right under Mount Sky.. Zelda says.
Zelda-I can't believe they elected us to gather fire wood.
Kimberly-Me either. I didn't want to leave the camp site.
Zelda stops walking for a minute and Kimberly leans down because she has spotted some very nice looking pieces of wood and broken off tree branches to start a fire with, so she gathers them.. And as for Zelda, she takes a pink ribbon out of her pants pocket.. Kimberly asks when she gets back on her feet.
Kimberly-What's that for?
Zelda-I'm going to put my hair up in a pony tail.
Kimberly-Oh.
And so she does..
Now the two continue their walk throughout the thick woodsy area. A sudden chill of a cold wind hits Zelda in a warning way.. She stops walking, leaving Kimberly to become ahead of her, that is until Kim stops and looks back.. she asks.
Kimberly-Zelda what's wrong?
Zelda doesn't answer at first, she just looks around like she's in a trans. Kimberly asks again.
Kimberly-Zelda what is wrong with you?
Zelda snaps out of it and finally answers.
Zelda-I felt something strange..
Kimberly-What?
Zelda-It was like trying to warn me of something going to happen..
Kimberly-Do you know what that something is?
Zelda-No, but I don't think it'll be anything good.
Kimberly-Hmm. We'd better stay alert.
Zelda-Exactly.
Zelda sighs and says now.
Zelda-Come on, let's finish getting more fire wood..
Kimberly-Okay.
In her home base, Sinistar watches images of the Light Star Warriors through an Orb that floats a few feet above her throne. She hears the noises of a slithering type whiny beast..
Liandron-Are you pleased Master?
She turns to it and responds.
Supreme Master Sinistar-Liandron.. You have come all the way from the Onton Galaxy to warn me of the Light Star Warriors?! Fool! I already know of them.
Liandron-But Master. I was just trying to be humble and serve your throne.
The beast comes out of hiding and is revealed to be an ogre looking creature with a large hump in its back.. His face has two eyes, with one bulging out more than the other, and sharp teeth that are dominated by the color yellow and green. Sinistar asks questionably.
Supreme Master Sinistar-Liandron. When I met Princess Andromeda on that dead asteroid, why were you there with her?
Liandron-I was cast away from my own galaxy. I wanted to be in allegiance with your evil forces.
Supreme Master Sinistar-Hmmm. Feeling that longing you tracked me down to this planet.
Liandron-Yes, your power is known greatly throughout the Universe. I sensed it here. Many creatures alike might feel the same way.
Supreme Master Sinistar-Ah then my army rebuilds..
She snatches the orb and gives it back to Liandron.
Supreme Master Sinistar-Take your orb and serve my throne.
Liandron-Yes, yes, thank you.
Supreme Master Sinistar-But I must warn you.. Find something useful only you can do.. For if your existence is futile, then your life shall suffer!
Liandron gulps heavily.
Liandron-I will prove my worth, Empress.
Supreme Master Sinistar-See that you do.
Back in the woods.
Zelda and Kimberly have gathered a few broken branches for a fire. They both hear voices coming north from where they stand.. Kimberly is about to say something but Zelda stops her with a..
Zelda-Shhh.
Kimberly nods.
They don't know this exactly, but they are hearing the voices of the Light Star Warriors inside of the cavern below Mount Sky.
Commander Xangora-I know what we must do.
Light Star Warrior Onizites-Wait, I really don't think we should try to reason with Sinistar. Perhaps we should listen to.
She points to Andromeda and says.
Light Star Warrior Onizites-Her. And ask for the Rangers help.
Light Star Warrior Banshee-I agree with Onizites. It has already been proven that we are no match for Sinistar's power.
Zelda and Kimberly start climbing up the steep hill that will lead them directly to the bottom of Mount Sky.. The reason why they're climbing is because they want to hear the voices better. So when they get close enough they're now able to hear more clearly.
Light Star Warrior Reflector-I agree with Onizites and Banshee.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-So do I.
Xangora nods her head and says.
Commander Xangora-Yes it makes more sense. But what if the Rangers refuse to help us?
Zelda looks at Kimberly questionably after hearing what Xangora said. Kimberly asks.
Kimberly-I wonder who they are.
Zelda-Don't know. But there's no question that they need our help.
Kimberly-Yeah.
Mzin starts to sniff the air.. He says to himself.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-Hmm. We've got company.
Back at the camp site. Nakia is bringing out some small pots and pans to set upon the ground for now.. She says.
Nakia-I wish Zelda and Kim would hurry up with the fire wood.
Joey comes out of his tent and says.
Joey-Me too. I'm getting hungry.
A loud strong whirly type noise is heard in the sky.. Nakia exclaims as soon as the sound disappears.
Nakia-What was that?!
Ryan comes out his tent, and Chet comes out of his own tent as well.
Ryan-Whoa, that was weird.
Nakia-I'll say.
Ryan-I'm going to contact Jeremy. Just to make sure.
They all gather around Ryan and nod their heads in agreement.
Now, Ryan turns on his communicator but gets nothing, except static. Chet says.
Chet-Must be the frequency in the mountains.
Joey-That sucks.
Nakia-Now we've lost all communication with Jeremy. What if something happens in Terra Falls?
Ryan-Don't worry. If it does, we'll know about it.
They all go back to what they were all doing before they heard the loud noise in the sky.
Back at Mount Sky.
Mzin has spotted Zelda and Kimberly.. They scream out after he says.
Light Star Mzin-Mmmm, two light snacks!
Zelda screams so loud that she starts to fall down the hill really fast like.. Kimberly shouts out after her.
Kimberly-ZELDA!
Kimberly is about to go after Zelda, but a pair of golden cuffs bind her hands now.. She struggles.
Kimberly-Hey, take these things off of me, now!
She looks up and sees Mzin holding a golden lasso which is connected to the golden cuffs.
Kimberly-I said let me go if you know what's good for you!
Light Star Warrior Mzin-No.
Kimberly-My friend is in trouble, now let me go!
Light Star Warrior Mzin-No.
Kimberly-Fine, have it your way!
Kimberly yanks the cuffs hard and upward so that the lasso connected to them pulls at Mzin.. It works.. And he ends up being flung over her head and when he hits the ground he starts rolling downward very fast, and Kimberly follows in the same type of way. She says shakily.
Kimberly-Hold on Zelda, help is on the way!
Xangora leaves the cavern and asks.
Commander Xangora-Where's Mzin!?
The others come out to look around.
Light Star Warrior Banshee-I thought I heard him talking to someone.. Then I heard a scuffle.
Light Star Warrior Onizites-Perhaps he fell..
Commander Xangora-He'll be back. He probably found a rabbit or something to munch on.. Come on, we've got to get back.
They all head back inside of the cavern's opening below Mount Sky.
Zelda is rolling fast, and the only thing to stop her is a medium sized tree.. She ends up hitting her right leg hard on it which results in her feeling the intense pain. She groans out.
Zelda-Ohhh.. Man.
She grabs her leg and groans out more.
Zelda-Oww, oww, oh it hurts!
She starts to think of Kimberly and she wonders if she's okay.. She gets back up, slowly and begins to limp walk back uphill. She doesn't notice the many leaves in her hair, or the dirt from the ground clinging to her like it was apart of her clothing.
Zelda-Ugh! I hope Kim is okay.
She stops walking when she sees something rolling her way.. In fact she see's two something's rolling towards her.
Immediately Zelda gets out of the way, and the first being, Mzin ends up hitting the same tree she did which stops his rolling harshly. He groans out in pain.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-Uuuughhhh…
Kimberly manages to slow herself down.. Zelda says.
Zelda-Kim, you're okay!
Kimberly stops completely then stands back up.
Kimberly-Yeah.. But you look kind of bad.
Zelda-You'd look bad too if you crashed into a tree.
Kimberly has a few leaves in her hair and she too has dirt hanging off of her clothes. Zelda says when she looks at Kim's golden cuffs.
Zelda-I'll find a way to get those cuffs off of you.
Kimberly-Thanks. What about him?
She points her hands at Mzin who's totally knocked out.
Zelda is about to answer when they hear a loud strong whirly noise in the sky. She exclaims as soon as she sees a hoard of Sinistar's new warriors flying through the sky like a swarm of bees.
Zelda-Oh no!
Kimberly-What do we do?!
Zelda-I'm going to contact the others.
Zelda turns on her communicator and manages to get through to Ryan.. She says.
Zelda-Ryan.. There's trouble in the sky.
Ryan responds.
Ryan-I know. We see them!
Zelda-What do you want us to do?
Ryan-We can't attack right off till we know what they're up too. See if you can follow them and we'll track your steps.
Zelda-Okay.
Ryan-Be careful.
Zelda-We will.
Zelda turns off her communicator, she looks at Kimberly and says to her.
Zelda-Looks like it's time to suit up.. We've got to use our Ranger powers to follow those things up there.
Kimberly-Right! But first.
Kimberly manages to knock the cuffs hard on a nearby stone that causes them to lose their golden shine, and with the shine gone, the cuffs come off easily. She says with relief..
Kimberly-Whew! Glad those things are off of me!
Zelda steps on the right side of Kimberly, she then brings up her right wrist and twists it to produce a pink flashing light that only shines for a second.. And when the pink light disappears, Zelda's communicator is now presented as her morpher. Kimberly does the same.. And now, Zelda and Kimberly both shouts out as they both swing their arms around once..
Zelda and Kimberly-IT'S MORPHIN TIME!
Mzin wakes up just in time to watch both girls transform.. His eyes grow quite large for a second.. And when the two Rangers rush off, he says.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-So they're the Pink and White Power Rangers.. Ughh!
He notices the many swarming beasts right above him.. One of them swoops downward towards him, he doesn't notice till he hears.
Gorezon Beast-There's one of them now! Down there!
Mzin gets up only to be knocked down to the ground again.. The lead Gorezon beast has ordered the rest of the warriors to continue searching, while the one who just found Mzin, to destroy him.
Mzin screams out because the big Gorezon beast lifts him up and takes a huge bite out of his neck.. He tries to transform into his werewolf self but he can't because his blood is gushing and falling to the ground very quickly.
The Pink and White Rangers are trying to stay unnoticed under ground while following the beasts in the sky, however they do realize that the heavy leaf like hair upon the top of the trees provides them with total invisibility.. The White Ranger hears Mzin's screams and stops.. She says.
White Ranger-Someone is in trouble, right behind us!
The Pink Ranger stops and turns to say.
Pink Ranger-Ok, go back, but be careful. I'm going to continue on.
The White Ranger nods.
White Ranger-You be careful too.
The Pink Ranger nods her head and leaves to continue to follow the beasts in the sky.
While she's on her way, she thinks.
Pink Ranger-Hmm.. Maybe those things are heading towards the Mountain..
She thinks of Mzin scaring them..
Pink Ranger-There could be more people up there! Oh no! I've got to beat those things to the mountain.
She stops and bends down on her right knee, she then says.
Pink Ranger-Pink Ranger Wind Boots, Activate!
Immediately after standing, her boots start to flutter with the color pink, which means now she has the power to run as fast as the strongest wind. And so she's off, hopefully she'll be there in time before the Gorezon Beasts.
The White Ranger makes it back to the place where the first Gorezon beast is hurting Mzin very badly.. He throws him up against a large oak tree and I have to say Mzin is not looking good. The beast says.
Gorezon Beast-You puny creatures are a waste of me time! You have no backbone, you're pathetic and wimpy!
Mzin says at the same time he coughs up blood.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-I have.. Back. Bone.. You.. Evil.. Ugly..looking..pig!
The Gorezon beast roars with irritation and is about to attack again, but a concentrated white beam hits him in the back.. He starts to shiver..
Gorezon Beast-WHAT'S THIS! COLD POWER! UGHHH!
The White Ranger now makes herself known.
White Ranger-You're not going to hurt him anymore.. So you might as well back off!
She stops the power coming from her star laser pistol and puts it back where it belongs.. The beast starts to turn around just as she leaps up into the air and goes into cannonball flip mode.. He says confusingly.
Gorezon Beast-Huh?
The White Ranger shouts out these words that make the heels of her boots glow brightly white.
White Ranger-INSTANT FREEZE!
The Gorezon beast's face has collided with the heels of the White Ranger's boots, and the power from her boots has frozen him solid. She now ends up landing behind the frozen beast. She looks at Mzin who like I mentioned earlier, is in terrible shape. She asks.
White Ranger-Who are you?
Mzin responds weakly.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-A Warrior of.. The.. Stars..just..like.. You.. White.. Ranger.. And.. I must.. Apologize.. For.. My behavior.. Earlier.
White Ranger-I've got to get you to safety.
Light Star Warrior Mzin-Don't. worry.. About.. Me..
He coughs up more blood.
The White Ranger tries to contact Jeremy but she can't get through to him.. She exclaims.
White Ranger-DAMN! Too much static!
The Pink Ranger's powers have proven to be much greater than the Gorezon beasts.. She manages to make it to the Mountain first.. And when she gets to the entrance level below the mountain, Andromeda is the first to notice her.. She says out in happiness!
Andromeda-A Power Ranger! The Pink Ranger is here!
The others turn around to see her.. She says.
Pink Ranger-Listen to me.. All of you..
She stops talking when she notices the strange looking creatures.. Immediately she thinks they are enemies and she has every right to think so because of the way Andromeda and Makozi are being held, and that makes her draw out her star laser pistol. Commander Xangora says in their defense.
Commander Xangora-No, don't fire at us.. We're not your enemies Pink Ranger.
Pink Ranger-What's with all of this, why are they cuffed like that?
Commander Xangora-There is much to explain.
Andromeda adds.
Andromeda-Yes just listen to her.. Sinistar is behind all of this.
Pink Ranger-I should of known it was her, the grand mistress of evil.
Commander Xangora-How did you know we were here Pink Ranger?
Pink Ranger-Kind of a long story.
She now points her star laser pistol at Makozi and Andromeda, the two exclaim.
Andromeda-Why are you pointing your weapon at us?! We aren't evil anymore!
Makozi-We have changed!
Pink Ranger-Oh really? How do I know you're telling me the truth?
Andromeda-My sister, Ariel gave us the power to cleanse the evil from our souls and bodies.
Makozi-That is absolutely correct.
The Pink Ranger asks in a astonishing tone.
Pink Ranger-Ariel? Princess Ariel?
Andromeda-Yes, please believe us. It is true.
Pink Ranger-I guess I really don't have a choice right now. Anyway we have more important matters to worry about that is bound to happen.
She puts her star laser pistol away, but she's still not letting her guard down. She continues on.
Pink Ranger-I don't have time to explain.. There are some really strange looking monsters flying towards this place.. I don't know if they're actually coming here, but I do know you're in their way.
Xangora says worriedly.
Commander Xangora-Sinistar must of sent them.
Pink Ranger-Good guess, We have to get moving before..
She stops when the same noises in the sky arise again just like before..
Pink Ranger-Oh no.
She rushes back to the entrance opening and see's the same swarm developing fast as everything fades to black.
