SilverPsychic; HELLOOOOOO! Things are at the peak! EVERYONE READY?! JKAFJDSKNFOEF! YOU-ALL-KNOW-THAT-I-DONT-OWN-THE-CHARACTERS, NOW-ON-WITH-THE-SHOW!
Chapter 13; The Final Push
Silver stretched his left arm out and telekinetically ripped up multiple spikes of cement and threw them without hesitation towards the beast. Chisaki roared in anger and targeted Silver, forming more thorns at the small hedgehog. However he was just a little faster and dodged most of them, still getting gashed and hit once and a while. Izuku joined that battle but Silver just kept feeling like this wasn't going to end well, no matter how hard they fought…Chisaki just seemed to have limitless health.
Silver noticed Izuku's power had increased, and he was still able to move. That was good, so Silver also stepped it up a notch by adding Chaos Energy to his fight. Out of the corner of his eye the teen noticed Nighteye go limper and Silver flinched, glancing at Izuku who nodded. Silver headed over to the pro to check his health, impaled in the torso and right arm…those were the main injuries. Silver cursed not having his hero suit at the moment and noticed Mirio's cape. Silver grabbed it and ripped a part of it off, the loud thumping and crashing behind him along with the shaking ground didn't really help his neaves. Silver cleaned up a bit of the dripping blood and saw Nighteye's head move.
"I-It's ok," Silver stuttered in fear and tried to stabilize the pro who muttered in horror his friend's name, "...Izuku?" Silver almost dreaded to look and saw minor spike enloged into his ankle and calf, it was bad but better then Nighteye, "Ok, look at me. You're going to be fine. It's going to be ok…" Silver noticed Nighteye's eyes purple and gear like, "STOP LOOKING INTO THE FUTURE AND LOOK AT ME!" Silver shouted in fear and worry, "Please…we are all falling apart…Mirio can't lose you."
Nigtheye was obviously not listening, and Silver had blocked out the fight to focus on Nighteye but, "No." A soft voice rang in his ear and he spun around to see the young girl, "I-It's not."
"Look at him, injured and alone. Do you really think he can win against me?" Chisaki asked using a mouth on his hand and Silver tensed, he wasn't that small…but…even though he found this battle with horrible odds…
"No…I don't." …That still hurt.
Izuku obviously felt the same heartbreak as Silver as the young girl started to go back to Chisaki, but something in Silver snapped. He wasn't sure what happened, but his body moved on its own and a strong sensation of desperation flared in him as he stumbled towards the young girl. She looked shocked to see someone just 'randomly come out of the rocks' and Chisaki didn't like it at all. He roared and shot more thorns at Silver to block him from getting to Eri but Silver pushed himself harder. He broke the spikes and hugged Eri tightly, a strong shield coming up around him subconsciously as memories flooded him for the last time.
"Blaze!" Silver laughed and chased after the young cat.
Fire burned around them as they mourned another loss, "I was…too slow…"
"I want to make others smile! Be happy! No more hiding! No more Iblis!" A stern but cute Silver exprested.
A groan echoed around, "This water is awful."
"No, please Blaze" Silver reached out to the fading figure, "Please…"
He stood alone on a crushed skyscraper, "Ifrit…"
Fight, fire, hurt, suffering, Blaze…it all flashed before his eyes as he remembered his own past. It made sense now, Eri…reminded him of his younger self. And he promised he wouldn't ever let that happen to anyone again.
"Good Luck…Silver."
Small wet tears fell as he hugged Eri, his emotions causing his shield to be put out and for him to be thrown away from the young girl. (A\N; IT'S NO USE! Nighteye! How many people in this episode?!) Silver felt his emotions pour over a little and he quickly gathered himself together, getting up just in time to see Ryuku's team burst through the ceiling and throw Chisaki off. Izuku got up and began running towards Eri giving a few orders to the new team about Nighteye while Silver was still swaying from his emotions.
Tsu came over and grabbed him, obviously not sure if he was a villain or if he was a by stander which so happened to stupidly get caught in this. Silver, being too unstable at the moment, did not reject her help and was led back to the small group while Izuku began fighting again. The hedgehog felt so upset with himself, being dragged down by his own emotions! He needed to help! Silver tried to stand but Tsu held him down so all he could do was helplessly watch. Deku ran after Eri, Mirio's cape fluttering in the wind. The young girl reached out and took the red cloth, recognition in her eyes, her horn flared with a bright golden glow and the guy Chisaki had merged with…torn away from him.
Eri gripped the cape, and jumped off the rising cement towards Izuku. Silver watched and struggled to get up as his friend caught Eri and held her tight. Silver reached out his hand shakily and caught Izuku with his power, helping the duo to dodge the attacks while mid-air. Though Izuku didn't notice because it was a weak hold, the desperate leafy green haired boy kicked the cement hard…and vanished.
"AHHH!" Silver gripped his head as his weak hold shattered like glass, oh how that hurt…worse than holding everyone earlier.
Tears poured from his face as Silver took a shaky breath, trying to look around for his friend. But Izuku was just gone, and Chisaki was buried under a bunch of ruble…did they win? Or lose? Ryuku asked what everyone was thinking and Chisaki got up, but had no intentions for them. The villain just walked over to his buried underling, the one who Ryuku had been fighting, and exploded him…to infuse them together.
"You needn't worry." Nighteye spoke and everyone turned to him, "You're all safe, at least for the time being. Chisaki will head to the surface in pursuit of Midoriya…and…kill him." Everyone went silent and stared at Nighteye in disbelieve, "Chisaki will take Eri…and escape." He already sounded like he had given up.
Uraraka stood up, "No! We have to-'' she began but fell forwards…Silver now understood what Nighteye meant but still, they were pushing themselves and he had just given up, "...Deku…"
"I foresaw it."
Ryuku tried to fight as well, "We can't just sit here and do nothing!"
"Given the shape you're all in, you won't be able to fight for a while." Nighteye muttered and dipped his head, "You cannot win, I'm sorry…"
"That doesn't matter." Uraraka forced herself to get up and lifted multiple tiny stones with her power, "I have to do something, and help him! There is not future, except the one you create!" Uraraka cried desperately and fell again as the ground rumbled behind the new and horrifying Chisaki.
Nighteye didn't say anything as he thought for a moment before muttering, "Froppy, you go help Mirio. He is on the other side of the wall, through that hole." He looked up a little, "Ryukyu, Uraravity, I need your aid." Uraraka still tried to do something, anything to help Deku but Nighteye shut her down sadly, "Please…it's no use."
"THAT'S IT!" Silver snapped, forcing his body to stand staring straight at Nighteye, "I'd expect you to be the wisest of all of us Nigtheye! But you're blinded by your own worry, while we all know the result but are still trying!" Tsu had already unwrapped her tongue from around Silver but by seeing his new actions, re-did the tongue wrap, "The future CAN be changed! JUST HAVE HOPE! We are all trying so hard! Your a pro Nighteye! Highschoolers are stronger than you! NIGHTEYE, HIGHSCHOOLERS! You can't give up!" Silver stomped harshly, uncaring to Tsu's attempt to confine him, "She is suffering, more than you ever have, and you know that. That's why we can be here in the first place! To save her from this tourcher! And just because you see something that could happen, you give up?! YOUR GOING TO ALLOW HER TO GO BACK TO THAT?! YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE A HERO!" Silver huffed heavily feeling all eyes on him, but his burning anger and disappointment ate any embarrassment he felt, "What you see the most highly possible future. But things could change at any time, and people will surprise you."
"...Who even are you kid?"
Quills bristled and his fists clenched, "I'M SILVER! I'M NOT SURE WHAT HAPPENED 'CAUSE I BLACKED OUT!" Silver shouted and then recognition flooded everyone, Tsu undoing her tongue upon the realization, "Now while everyone fights their hardest, think about what everyone has done. And they keep going." Silver turned, and flew out to the fight above.
He couldn't express how upset he was with Nighteye's blindness. When Silver got to the surface though, his thoughts quickly dumped Nighteye as wind whipped around his face. His jaw dropped as he finally saw the real potential of One for All, and man did Izuku look flat out SUPER! Glowing with a sky blue aura and literally just flying around! And Chisaki was twenty, thirty maybe, times his size! Silver was absolutely astonished, flabbergasted, out of words! It. Was. Amazing! But his awe was cut off as he was thrown suddenly into another part of the broken building. He was still above ground, but was inside some of the remains of the Yakuza building.
What was worse, was who attacked him suddenly, "You thought I was done, that you wouldn't see me for the rest of this fight? Ha, think again." Mephlies grinned manically at the smaller hedgehog. (A\N; I can't just have the big bad have a small scene man! Silver; I'd prefer it, less heart attacks are good with me…) "And I'm sure I made your team confused, but for old times sakes." Mephlies somehow turned back into his natural Mobian form and Silver was shocked.
But shock quickly turned into horrified as Mephlies pulled out a small dart like thing that made the same clicks as the ones he heard earlier, "You know what this is?" Mephlies asked, twirling it around a little.
"Q-Quirk E-Enh-hancer…" Silver shuttered, staring at the tip, knowing his chances of winning, let alone survival, had just gone down to 0.00001.
"Seems like this world has gotten to your head a bit huh? Ah well, it doesn't matter…cause this is your end." Mephlies stabbed the needle into his neck vein and groan in pain as his skin peeled of and he turned into a super-like crystalline form and Silver felt his heart utterly shatter, "Ah~ That feels so much better~ I've never been a fan of needles but it's worth the power~!" Mephlies laughed and looked at Silver with psychotic eyes, "But last time, I made a mistake~ I shouldnt fight you~ I should go for someone else~ Have you beg at my feet on your knees~!" The demon teased and dragged a finger across Silver cheek, "But who should I kill~? Maybe the weakest, or maybe the liveliest, ooo should I kill the young girl~? …No~ It's obvious I should go for the brightest star in the sky~ Young Izuku Midoriya~"
Silver's expression became desperate and worried and Mephlies instantly knew he hit the jackpot, "Ah yessss~ The young naive hero~ It's quite funny that you found your own counterpart~ But no surprise that you two are so close~! Makes him the perfect target~" Silver didn't have time to process his words, his mind to horrified about the fact of Mephiles going to kill his best friend, "One naive idiot meets another~ You to should make a club~ Oh wait…thats right~ I'm going to kill him~ Too bad~" Silver growled, not on his watch!
The teen pounded onto Mephiles, not caring how painful his new spikes were and jabbed a psychic knife harshly into Mephlies' shoulder. However, it just bounced off…Mephlies laughed and Silver punched and kicked with desperation but the demon seemed to take no effect. Mephlies picked up Silver like he was some annoying bug and tossed him harshly into the broken road. Silver knew the demon already didn't feel a lot of pain and now he was completely numb to it.
"I'm glad I'll get some practice in before I get serious~"
While Silver had been used to fast moving objects, his friend being Sonic afterall, Mephlies was faster than anything Silver had seen! (A\N; Quick thing…When Sonic is Super, Silver normally wasn't there or was super as well, so he hasn't ever seen Sonic moving fast as super while he was normal…) Or more like not seen, Mephlies had thrown Silver but before he even crashed into the road, Mephlies was behind him. Before Silver could register the movements, Mephlies had kicked him again, getting flung high into the air. A small, sharp cry of pain escaped the hedgehog before a number of unseen fast punches and kicks were laid into him, sending him back to earth. Silver had already known that fighting Mephlies normally, his chances of winning were slim but now…
His head hurt, his legs felt broken, his left shoulder feel dislocated, and he was quite sure his spine had at least a fracture. Pain pulsed through him like a spider web, but he couldn't give up! Everyone had worked so hard, Izuku had Eri, Silver couldn't let Mephiles hurt anyone else! Silver's mind raced as he tried to think of a plan after a second, but his worst concern was where was Mephlies? He couldn't see him-CHAOS! Silver struggled to get up but all his efforts came to a halt after a large pain shot from his spine and his arms buckled, causing him to fall. Mephiles haven't even gone five minutes with this new power, and Silver already couldn't get up. He was such a pathetic hero, could he even call himself that? His eyes teared up as he desperately looked around, spotting Uraraka and Nighteye on the road by the large hole Ryuku made but… No. Mephlies turned, gave the most horenice grinning eyes spelling out Silver was too deep in trouble to save anyone. This was quite an appropriate example of 'Bite off more than you can chew'.
He had to get up! FORGET THE PAIN AND MOVE! Silver was shaking with fear, pain, nerves and adrenaline. He couldn't watch his friend die! NIGHTEYE YOU SAID IZUKU WOULD DIE FROM CHISAKI BUT YOU NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT MEPHILES! THAT WOULD HAVE BEEN HELPFUL TO KNOW! The ivory hedgehog desperately wanted to get up again only for him to get half way and his arms to go limp. He…he couldn't. Silver was useless, more than Nighteye, more than Lock Lock, more than Aizawa. They all could still help, but Silver had nothing. Nothing. Only a broken heart and bones, a raging fire of desperation, and a waterfall of tears. 'The goal is to make the villains lose hope in fighting before you, if you lose hope, they already won.' Silver lowered his ears remembering the hero's words, what could he do?
Mephlies walked up to Silver, placed a heavy shoe on his chest and said mischievously, "I already won~ Enjoy the show~" Before teleporting off, and Silver noticed in the air, Izuku cried out loudly in pain.
His heart sank into his stomach, his friend had always been there for him…and just because he had a bit of broken bones he was going to give up?! IZUKU HAD BROKEN SO MANY BONES AND STILL FOUGHT! So why couldn't he?! Why? Time seemed to freeze around Silver, everything around him seemed to disappear…blackness and eerie quietness wrapped around him. Izuku was gonna die because of him, and instead of doing anything in his power, he was just sitting there…stupid. Guilt seemed to hug his heart as Silver stayed stiller then a rock, but his mind raced. Wait…power. HE WAS SO STUPID! Just because he couldn't move, didn't mean he still couldn't move himself! He had to save Izuku, Mephlies was his problem, and he wasn't going to allow anyone else to get hurt because of his naivety!
Silver snapped back into reality and was done playing around, Mephlies may be powerful so Silver just had to get to his level! While Silver wasn't too good at controlling his quirk without his inhibitor rings, let alone happy with doing such a thing, he had much more power. Silver allowed his power to go to his finger tips and he used it to take off his golden rings, a bright blue aura quickly enclosing him and his eyes turning a neon cyan. Mephlies was going to get as close to death as Silver could get him! He. Was. FURIOUS! As his power flooded his system, small inner bandages wrapped around his broken bones, keeping the pain away as well as fixing him temporarily. Silver knew he was like Shadow, in the sense of when his rings were off, his power was used muh faster and he had less control over it. But it would have to do.
In the blink of an eye, Silver was in between Memphis and Izuku, harshly kicking his foe in the face with a look alone that could kill, "HEY MEPHILES! REALITY CHECK!" Silver growled loudly sending Mephlies back down to the road with harsh speeds.
Izuku seemed surprised for a moment before suddenly really worried, "Silver you can't-!" Eri was holding on tight to Izuku and Silver just nodded.
"Focus on Chisaki, I got Mephiles!" Silver said quickly and telekinetically slapped Chisaki harshly as he tried to enclose in on the two heroes, "Watch your back! And Don't Die." Silver put extra emphasis into those words before teleporting back to Mephiles, oddly enough he felt as if his bones were not really broken anymore.
Mephlies seemed really frustrated seeing Silver like this, "SHOULDN'T YOU BE ON YOUR DEATHBED MORTAL?! HOW ARE YOU-" Mephlies was quite cut off by a large wall crashing into his back.
"You will NOT touch ANYONE else, I'll make sure of that." Silver growled and they both lunged at each other. Claws, dark beams, walls, rocks and chunks of road, punches, kicks, even choke holds, it was all a large mess break out fight.
Mephlies' attacks seemed to start getting more and more messy while Silver focused on strong hits, making sure they landed each time. Mephlies was getting on his last straws, the drug probably wearing off, while Silver was quite close to. Both fighters had almost taken all their energy away in the fight, but neither wanted to give up. So Silver had only one last trick up his sleeve. A cyan dome formed around them, Mephlies not noticing at first, and Silver cloaked all his energy.
"Psychic BLAST!"
Mephlies definitely knew what this meant and cursed under his breath as a large, confined explosion ripped and whipped them both out of any fight they had left. After about ten seconds, it was over. Silver had fallen to the ground and was a panting mess while Mephlies was starting to melt away. The walls and road pieces fell around them, obscuring them from view of the other heroes but none landed on either of them…besides a small board of wood on Silver's lower torso. The demon was soooo tempted to kill Silver, right then and there, but he couldn't. He didn't have enough energy to, in fact he was melting right now, like a snowman in summer.
The demon somehow managed to limp over to Silver, and scratch his face, "I made a deal with someone, you must understand." Mephlies muttered to the almost passed out hedgehog, "Next time, you stupid hedgehog. I'm learning quite a bit about you, and that school really is doing wonders…today was fun but next time will be serious."
A small food dye bottle whipped along Silver's face, collecting the leaking blood before Mephlies was just gone. Silver's mind was too tired to process what just happened, everything seeming to be white in his mind as his body and mind called for sleep. A single weak thought entered his mind though; Make Sure Izuku Is Alive And Ok. His eyes were too heavy, his body even heavier. He couldn't move, and he wasn't going to get any better without his inhibitor rings. Where were they anyways? Izuku kept softly ringing in his mind and he tried to move, even a little…but it seemed like there was just a disconnect between his body, he wanted to move…but he milked everything out of himself to get rid of Mephiles.
His eyes slowly closed without permission, a slow blink of black surrounding him. But when he opened his eyes again, his ears picked up sirens and heavy footsteps. Did he fall asleep for a second? Maybe he hurt himself worse than he thought. He tried to look around but his eyes were blocked by heavy eyelids again for a second and next thing he knew, he could hear his name. But who was calling him? Was he imagining it? His body was on fire, screaming for him to stop trying to resist sleep but he needed to know if Izuku was alive. If that meant he would just sit here, flicking in and out of consciousness until he knew, then so be it.
(UNSEEN! With Mephlies, Toga, and Twice!
"Wow…" Toga murmured when Mephlies formed in front of them, "Now I get why you said you wanted to fight Silver on your own, man he's so cute!" She softly squealed and her eyes brightened while looking at the beaten up Izuku, and passed out, beaten up Silver, "I love them both!"
"No wonder, they are counterparts." Mephlies muttered and handed over the food dye bottle with Silver's blood inside, seeing both his team mate's confused expressions, Mephlies explained, "Silver is the Midoriya of my world."
Toga lit up upon hearing that and swirled the blood around, "No wonder! Izuku looks drop dead cute and even better with red, while Silver looks like a candy cane cutie! And if they are best friends…I doubt they mind if I love them both!"
"Do I not get a say in this?" Twice muttered sourily before whining, "But Togaaaaaa," Toga shed him and Mephlies opened a teleportation gate, "Fine, but once we are back at the lair, I have more to say!")
