Glad you returned. Good chapter overall, although I advise you to work more on the fights and show more of Naruto's reactions to his heritage.
Good point. Both. I am new to fight scenes overall. I will try and do better. As for Naruto's reaction. Oops my b. sorry for being so late.

So, there they were, taking down snakes apparently. Naruto had suggested they use their combo attack. Sakura had used earth flow divide, Naruto used wind pressure damage and Madria had used phoenix sage flower nail crimson. It had worked, the snakes they were against had disappeared.

Madria sighed and leaned against a tree, pulling up the quest again.
Quest Alert! New mission to the land of rivers!
The land of rivers needs saving from monsters.
Defeat the Bandit group: 300 exp.(complete)
Stop the village from being overrun by snakes: 500 exp. (complete)
Defeat the monsters: 300exp for each monster. 0/3
Defeat them with more than 80% health: A rank jutsu + below rewards
Defeat with more than 50%: B rank mission + Below
Defeat with more than 25% health: another C rank mission in the land of waves.
Failure: death and I have to find a new champion so fuck you if so.
She was not happy. The quest wasn't even complete. She still had three monsters. What kind of monsters? They had just defeated five of those fucking snakes, each one seemed to have been 100exp. Now she had to defeat something three times as strong.
She shakily stood up and walked forward. Naruto was eating Ramen and Sakura was drawing. Kakashi sensei had not shown up yet, and her head hurt. She could feel the impending doom. Especially when someone started laughing. They all turned to see a woman, with pale skin. Naruto sniffed the air and growled.
"Snakes."
"kukuku you're right my boy. However, I'm not here to fight. No, just observe. I watched you guys defeat my snakes. Good job. Well...yeah just that. Show me the power of the Uchiha my dear." She said staring at Madria before she dropped into the ground.
Sakura sighed, but too soon it seemed because they all heard a roar and looked behind them as three huge golem looking monsters stared down at them. Each one scaley and dripping with something.
"Oh fuck." Madria said before a claw slammed into the ground, barely missing her.
Sakura used tearing palm and slammed into one with a chaaa. Naruto sent a great breakthrough at a second one sending it towards Madria. She in turn jumped up and used Pheonix Nail Crimson at the golem. The fire imbedded into its chest doing nothing. But it was just a distraction as she slapped on a chakra seal, right onto it's back. The thing started to crumble away as Sakura finished her own golem.
The biggest one stormed towards them. Madria looked at her teammates and breathed in hard. They were all tired. She closed her eyes and opened them back up to show her sharingan. She saw the golem in slow motion as she sped forth, watching Naruto get knocked back. She flipped up landing on the tall beast of earth, before adding overdose, and lightning rod.
As lightning came down and struck the construct, she did some hand signs and sent huge lightning balls at it. Dust was thrown up and then Sakura ran in to punch. Madria couldn't see much for a bit before she finally saw Sakura standing there triumphant. They all looked around to find the weird man, but he was nowhere.
The land of rivers needs saving from monsters. Complete!

She stared at it. She was out of breath but as she looked, she was confused. She obviously had to save both but why wouldn't she save Gato? And why was this such a huge exp boost? 39k if she was reading correctly.
Some quests are timeline changers from the original world. These are important events that will determine how the future plays out. Failure of this Quest just means a harder life.
She nodded slowly. Her life just kept getting too exciting. "I guess this was too easy for us."
"Speak for yourself." Sakura said coming up from behind her, her arm broken and bleeding.
It was then that their sensei showed back up and Naruto walked up. Kakashi looked them all over and helped give first aid to Sakura while Madria did a bit of healing, or what she could.
"We should get back to the leaf, though apparently, Team 10 is stuck in the land of waves. They are in a bind with Asuma barely beating this ninja called Zabuza." Kakashi said after helping Sakura.
"He is a Missing Nin from the Mist, is he not? One of the Seven Swordsmen." Madria asked simply.
Kakashi nodded as Naruto asked who the seven Swordsmen were. Kakashi sighed and started to explain before Sakura piped up.
"They are swordsmen from the mist as stated by Madria. They are incredibly powerful and hard to defeat. Zabuza was known as the Demon of the Mist for a reason. He carries the Kubikiribocho, otherwise known as the Executioner's Blade. It is very durable and even if it does break it heals from the iron it takes from blood." She said like it was easy information to have known.
Kakashi stared for a moment and Naruto nodded along like he understood. Madria, however, was wide eye'd and honestly her stomach was tingling.
"That was so hot." She breathlessly spoke.
Sakura blushed and waved away the compliment.
"Yes, well. We don't have to go. Honestly it would be better if we returned to the leaf and-"
"No! Kakashi Sensei, we can't just leave our friends to die there!" Naruto shouted.
Sakura and Madria nodded along, and Madria spoke up. "It would be wrong, Sensei. We both know Zabuza isn't defeated." She for other reasons than him more than likely, but the point stood.
Kakashi sighed and looked upwards. He had a hunch that this would end alright, but he still did not like it. "Yeah sure. But you guys follow my every order. I will not lose you guys again. I mean at all." He said as he had slipped up. "This is another A rank mission so congrats. We have to save the team, and maybe even capture Zabuza.-"
"Or we could just befriend them." Madria smirked and shrugged.
The three others looked at her like she was crazy. That was before the genius of the group and the pinkette both asked at the same time. "Them?"
Madria inwardly cursed. She had slipped up. "Well, yeah." She said as she fought for an explanation "It's not like Asuma Sensei would lose to just Zabuza and still call for help. Asuma has to suspect the man is still alive. Knowing Asuma he probably had Zabuza dead to rights and someone intervened." She smiled inwardly as they nodded, accepting her excuse.
"Then it's settled. We go to the Land of Waves. I am so getting yelled at by the Hokage later." He sighed looking up at the sky.
"Vahalla here we come!" Madria shouted as she took off towards the land of waves, her sharingan activating as the others followed suit.
"Vahalla?" Naruto asked.
"Its a fictional heaven. I think she was being sarcastic. Or I hope she was because you have to die in battle to go there." Sakura said glaring at Madria.
Kakashi sped up past them and next to Madria. He looked at the young girl next to him as they shot through the trees. "Why are you so different? You are never what I expected from...ya know."
"From the granddaughter of Madara? Yeah, I get told that. The clan never liked me much. Other than Shisui and Itachi I feel like I was far different from the others and therefore I was disliked."
"Because you don't have a stick up your ass?"
Madria laughed and almost fell. "Yeah, basically, Sensei. The way I grew up, with a half uzumaki mother and a father that I've never met...he died during the Kyubi attack, coming for aide which is the only reason I am even here. Then of course Itachi had to kill our whole clan. It's fucking lucky mom knows purification fuuinjutsu so I can rebuild our clan." She went silent a minute later as Kakashi watched her.
"Do you resent Itachi?" He softly asked.
"No, actually. I firmly believe he must've had a reason for what he did. Also, I get he is powerful but come on Kakashi. The whole clan? And Shisui? All by himself. No, I believe someone else helped or ordered him to do it." she said, basically just going off guesses.
"You know, I explained before that I had lost a lot of people. You and I are more alike than the others and myself. I do, however, see us in you kids. Sakura is definitely RIn, you are myself except more caring and Naruto is Obito. I know that you all will be ok because of this feeling I have. But the fears and nightmares still haunt me sometimes. How are you not afraid of him? He is one of the most powerful Uchiha and you just see him as family still." Kakashi, still quietly spoke.
"You open up a lot to me you know that?" She chuckled. "You have had a lot worse in my mind. I wasn't close to all of them, but yes, I do feel it. But one day...long ago. Itachi told me something. He said that when the sky burned down and hell froze over. He would be there to hold my hand. When I felt like everything was against me, he would be there. I do not believe that has changed even with what he did. Otherwise he would've killed mom and I."
Kakashi nodded as they neared water. Dropping down they came to a boat. It was a big boat but that wasn't the issue at hand, it was that it was labeled as a Mist craft. There was an old man who looked up to them and smiled. "Ah, I was told that you four would show up. This man with three other genin told me such. Paid for the ride as well so get in."
They sweat dropped but got in and settled in. The man pushed off the peir and the boat started forward. Madria started to sing softly, oddly annoying Sakura.
"My mother told me...someday I would buy, a galley with good oars, and sail to distant shores. Stand upon the prow, noble bark I steer. Steady course to the haven, hu many fow man-"
"Shut up! You and these Viking songs. Shesh do you think we're going to die?" Sakura snapped.
"I've been stairing at the edge of the water...long as I can remember, never really knowing why-"
"Sakura you broke her!" Naruto yelled and ran up to shake Madria.
"ah-ah-ah-Naru-to-stop."
He did and looked at her face and sighed. "She's fine now, I fixed her."
Everyone else sweat dropped again.
"Shesh, you guys can't stop me from singing you know. I'm nervous." She said and thought to herself. "It isn't like you guys have to save two people that are supposed to be out enemies."
They sat back and Kakashi started to chuckle loudly. "Cute genin."
Soon they arrived at their destination and Asuma met them at the peir. There was a huge bridge to their left and they all just stared at it. Well, everyone except Kakashi who had his eyes everywhere else.
"Asuma, are the others ok? Zabuza didn't kill anyone did he?"
"No, but a fake hunter nin showed up and took his body. I know they were fake because they didn't burn the body right then and there. Shikamaru actually caught onto it quite quickly."
"Of course he did." Kakashi chuckled as he eyed the children who were now talking to each other.
"Hey cutie." Ino said leaning against Madria, to the anger of Sakura.
"Hey beautiful." Madria responded cheekily. + 200 rep with Ino
The girl blushed and squealed as Madria pushed away and giggled.
"Sensei, can we train a bit?" She said to her sensei as Sakura cooled down and Naruto perked up from beside Shikamaru and Choji.
"Yes, but Asuma's team still needs to rest. I'll be right there."
And so they traveled through the woods nearby until they arrived at a clearing with a lake. Kakashi came by soon after and proceeded to teach them water walking. (I am skipping this)
It was dusk by the time they all got it (with a +3 cc and +2 end) and they were pretty much all yawning except Naruto. But Madria needed more. She needed jutsu. "Sensei! Teach me a lightning jutsu! A high ranking one, or at least a B rank."
Kakashi looked at her and chuckled. "How about you answer a question for all of us, and for every answer of the three qyuestions, one for each, I will teach you a jutsu."
"Ask me some too!" Naruto yelled out.
Kakashi nodded and Sakura nodded when asked if she wanted to learn three as well. So, first was Madria.
"What do you think about your ancestor?"
"Madara? I don't think anything much. Nothing good or bad. Just that he was misguided."
"Why do you like me?" Guess who.
"Because you are smart. Honestly I love the pink hair and green eyes as well."
"Can you fight me!" Naruto of course.
"How about ramen and then we are good?" He obviously agreed.
Kakashi nodded at the team participation. They went around with Sakura being asked things like what she wanted to do in the line of work, medical was her answer. Could she help Naruto with learning things he missed. Yes. And why did she like Madria. She answered with the same as was answered to Madria. Naruto came next, what did he wish to accomplish as a ninja. The answer was hokage. What kind of ramen was his favorite? Kitakata thick noodle. And lastly...
"What if I want to become Hokage?" Madria asked smiling.
"I- I don't know. We shall see who gets it first then won't we? You are my rival then Madria! Best friend and Rival!"
Kakashi nodded and stood up from his seated position. "Well I will train each of you in three b rank jutsu."
So he did. Naruto was first. He learned Vacuum sphere, Divine mountain wind, and Beast palm. Sakura learned Earth corridor, earth style all, and earth prison dome.
Madria however was different. She had one for each of her three natures, especially after unlocking wind during the water walking. She learned lightning rising storm, running fire, and wind riding. Which was a lot considering. It was now night time and Sakura and Kakashi were about out of energy so they said goodnight. Naruto and Madria stayed up to train even more working on their chakra control. Until they passed out that is.

Soon footsteps were heard, and soft singing proceeded as the sun slowly came up. Madria was the first to wake up and see a face, an extremely beautiful face, looking down at them. She screamed and whirled around getting her fuuinshii before Naruto too was up and had his own kunai.
"Woah woah woah, calm down I am not here to hurt you. I was just around picking herbs for my father." the girl said holding her hands up.
"State who you are now!" Madria shouted back, she was on edge now and this was not the way to wake her up.
"My name is Haku."
Madria froze at that.
"Say again?"
"Haku, my name is Haku and I'm just picking herbs for my father."
