Minutes After Weiss and Company Left For Galar

"Ah! Sephiroth, just the guy I was looking for!" Crazy Hand said as he floated over to the silver haired man who was leaning on a wall.

"Hmm? What do you want?"

"I couldn't help but overhear that you were busy analyzing the opponents during your little tests, so I was thinking… maybe you oughta jot down your thoughts on each of the Smashers." Crazy Hand suggested.

Sephiroth rubbed his chin in thought. "You think so?"

"Of course!" He said, snapping his fingers and summoning a notepad and a pen. "Here ya go! Now you can write down your thoughts so you can never forget them! You're welcome!"

As he took the notepad and pen, Sephiroth simply nodded at Crazy Hand and walked away. "I'm curious to see what his thoughts are!" Crazy Hand said.

"I'm not." Cloud said as he walked by.

In Sephiroth's room…

Sephiroth sat down at his desk as he put down the notepad as he pondered what to write. Within a few minutes of trying to figure out what to write as his first sentence, he immediately started writing.

BGM: It Began With a Letter (Kingdom Hearts)

"As I have been looking for Cloud, this strange world ending distortion caught my attention. As the distortion ended, a portal opened up right in front of me and I walked in, where I immediately saw these floating hands. I asked where I was and they said I was in this "Smash Mansion". I asked where Cloud was and the one known as Master Hand mentioned that Cloud was in the roster. Without missing a beat, I walked toward Cloud's location, but the hands stopped me, saying I needed to take a test if I wished to join Smash. My answer was simple… I used a Giga Flare on the both of them. It was enough to get Crazy Hand's approval and approved me into Smash. Master Hand quickly flew off and told Cloud "Good luck". It was good to see him again.

However, during my stay at this Smash Mansion, I came to realize that I needed to see which of these Smashers I needed to be aware of should I desire to bring this Remnant into despair. Over the next few weeks after my arrival, I tested each and every one of these Smashersincluding a few Assist Trophies that wished to fight me.

These are my thoughts on each Smasher."

Mario

"My first opponent was none other than Mario. It appears he is quite the popular fighter here in Remnant and in the Mushroom Kingdom. From what I've heard, I expected to have a good fight. However, the moment I put his overalls over my sword… I knew that everyone was, as they say, overhyping him. His flames weren't even that hot either, even in his Final Smash. The hero of the Mushroom Kingdom and this was the best he had? Pathetic. Not worth my time."

Donkey Kong

"I was not expecting a massive ape to be next on the roster, but, I figured he would be easy just like Mario. However, the moment he caught my blade mid-swing with his bare hands, I knew that this wasn't going to be as simple as Mario. His fists hit hard and he even picked me up on one occasion. His Final Smash was enough to make my ears ring. Just how strong is this ape? No matter what I did, he didn't even flinch. He finished me off before I could even fire a single Flare at him. As I dusted myself off, I wondered how strong he really was. One of the smaller Smashers mentioned that he punches moons out of orbits for a living. Which begs the question… was he responsible for Remnant's moon? Only time will tell."

Link

"The Hero of Hyrule. I must admit, he's quite stronger than he looks. It must be because of the "Blade of Evil's Bane", as his friends call it or as it's typically known as the Master Sword. Evil may never touch it… but perhaps if I could find a way to get around it? An oven mitt, a glove, crystalize it? I wonder what it'd be like if I were to wield this sword. Ah, I'm daydreaming. The Hero of Hyrule lives by his name and definitely kept me on my toes. He is a formidable opponent, but I wonder what he'd be like if you were to take the Master Sword away from him? Would he still find a way to beat me then? One day, we shall see."

Samus/Dark Samus

"I'm grouping these two together even though they are not technically the same person. Samus Aran… is surprisingly athletic in that armor of hers. I guess they don't call her a Bounty Huntress for nothing. Her missiles, her bombs, her plasma grapple… anything she can throw at you. Her Power Bombs are no laughing matter. Even if I can shield myself from her, she effortlessly breaks apart my shields and counter attacks. She can adapt quickly before you know what is happening. Best to keep my eye on this one.

I can say the same for her doppleganger. Turns out she is a villain born from Phazon. I wonder if I could get my hands on itbut unfortunately, I've heard that all Phazon has been wiped out. Still… she calls herself the Metroid Prime. I am not sure what that is, but it sounds intriguing. However, as I'm writing this, my arm is still a bit tingly every time I think or pass by Dark Samus. It must have been some of that Phazon residue that she leaves behind. It would explain why there's always a cleanup crew behind her. I was put into decontamination after my fight with the Metroid Prime. It was… an experience, to say the least. I'm keeping a close eye on her."

Yoshi

"I had always believed dinosaurs were extinct, but it appears I was wrong. This dinosaur is surprisingly combat ready, given the flurry of kicks he gave me on the head. What's most surprising is that I was stuffed inside an egg… and then he threw me to a wall. As of this writing, I'm still getting bits of egg shell out of my hair… but while this dinosaur is a good fighter, it didn't take long for me to cut him down. He did call a few of his friends for his Final Smash… however, I was able to teleport behind the stampede and knocked him out. I consider that payback for what he did to me."

Kirby

"As I fought this creature, there's something that's a bit… unsettling. It copies your moves and uses it against you… and when it's not hitting you back with a Megaflare attack, it proceeds to hit you with a hammer or a flurry of punches with its small stubby arms. I think I saw it wielding Masamune at one point. They call this creature the hero of Dreamland. If they think that this creature is a hero by copying your moves and using it against you, then they must be dreaming. It's unsettling how absent minded and carefree it is while it fights... it's a strange sense of fear I haven't felt before..."

Fox

"The leader of this ragtag group of mercenaries called Star Fox. I never thought I would see a bipedal fox that tends to kick furiously. He is incredibly fast… but, he's not fast enough. His weapon, while it does tend to sting a bit, I can simply walk up to him and slash the gun off of him. His Fox Illusion and his Fire Fox are interesting… but wasn't enough. His Final Smash wasn't much of a hassle either, considering I knocked them all down with one swing of my blade. They did not anticipate teleportation. I wonder if he will ever fly again… probably not."

Pikachu

"This is the so-called mascot of Pokemon. It definitely lives up to its name, but it did not take long for this rodent to be defeated. It only delayed the inevitable of its defeat. It did take a while for my hair to stop sticking up however."

Luigi

"When I heard about Mario's timid brother, I figured this would have been an easy win. If I could defeat Mario, then perhaps this would be another easy victory. However, he somehow managed to avoid all of my sword attacks and as he got closer, he was somehow able to dodge the Shadow Flare… then he grabbed me. He threw me down and before I knew it, I was flying high into the air. However, I was able to recover and just when I was about to turn the fight around… he pulls out a vacuum. I am not sure how I was able to be sucked into a small device, but here I was… being shot out to the sky. I was not one to give up and I was able to come back and land several blows on him. As he recovered, I watched him charge up an attack and before I knew it, he shot himself like a missile… and I saw an explosion behind him. However, I easily dodged it and watched him fly off stage. I knew victory was at hand as I turned my back to him. Victory was mine. …Everything went dark after that.

As I awoke, I learned that Luigi had won. I was confused. I reviewed the replay of my fight against him, and to my surprise, he hit me in the back when I wasn't looking. According to these Smashers, it is called a Misfire, and for some reason, he used another Misfire to recover off stage… and struck me in the back hard enough to knock me out. I am perplexed about this situation…"

Ness

"When they say that this kid from Onett is a prodigy… I can safely say that they were right. They did warn me about his infamous fire attack, but as I fought him… I've only seen him use it once or twice. I am not sure what was the big deal about it. As I fought him, I was constantly getting bombarded by his Thunder and Flash attacks. He was able to absorb my Flare attacks like they were nothing. His baseball bat is formidable as well. It is not to be taken lightly. His Final Smash is certainly one to behold. A prodigy is able to summon meteors just like that? How interesting… it is safe to say that I have underestimated him."

Captain Falcon

"This has got to be one of the loudest Smashers I have ever came across… and I thought Barret was a loudmouth. He calls out his moves which are easy to predict. "Falcon Punch, Falcon Kick, Knee of Justice" and many more moves that he throws out. He even says "Blue Falcon" when he unleashes his Final Smash. They say he is a "Combo machine", but the way I see it? He isn't. Maybe he should just stick with racing."

Jigglypuff

"Another pink puffballbut this one is less unsettling than the previous one. That said… it did not take long for me to doze off in a fight. That is unlike me. When I woke up, I found a flower on my head and marker all over my face. They say when Jigglypuff sings, it puts anyone to sleep. So I did the only thing I could do. Knock it down before it could use its lullaby again. It didn't take much to send it flying, since it was lighter than a feather. That being said, if I'm paired up with this thing again… I am bringing ear plugs, just in case."

Peach

"The Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. A fair maiden of the kingdom, and she's easily kidnapped all the time. I question why, considering she's not one to back down from a fight such as this. Her weapons of choice, while unorthodox, is quite something to be proud of. Golf clubs, frying pans, tennis rackets… I was not aware these could be used as weapons. However, just because she's a skilled fighter doesn't mean she was able to defeat me. Despite her best efforts, she wasn't able to do much as I struck her down. For some strange reason, after her defeat, she gave me a cup of tea and to my surprise, it was decent. A fair princess and she takes her loss in stride, not to mention offering tea. I can see why her people like her."

Bowser

"He calls himself the King of Awesome, and to his credit, I can see why. He is a tough opponent to fight. While I haven't fought him at full strength, he is a formidable opponent to face. Respectable. Though I question why he loses to teenagers… just how strong are they, I wonder?"

Ice Climbers

"They say two heads are better than one. However, I disagree. It didn't take much for these two to be defeated, however they did freeze me solid on one occasion and their hammers are pretty hard hitting, but in the end… they were the ones who were put on ice."

Sheik

"There is something mysterious about this Sheikah. I wonder what mysteries he holds? Unfortunately, he wasn't able to do much with his ninja like skills. He was able to land a few hits, but he wasn't able to do much damage. This is one ninja that I will not worry about."

Zelda

"Yet another princess in the roster, but… unlike my fight with Peach, this particular princess was able to hold her own. Her skills in magic are remarkable, and her knight that she summons is incredible. The Triforce that she holds… I wonder if it gives her the wisdom she needs to fight against someone like me. Does it give her hints? Does it give her remarkable power? I wonder what will happen if I got my hands on the Triforce. In the meantime, Zelda is a respectable fighter. …I wonder why she reminds me of Aerith. Hmm, most peculiar."

Dr. Mario

"It appears Mario wanted another fight with me, this time dressed up as a doctor. I let him attack first, and despite his best efforts… it was the same fight as last time, only he tried to throw pills at me. I almost pity him."

Pichu

"Is it possible to hurt yourself while you are charging up an attack? Apparently this little rodent can. It looks playful, but it apparently cannot hold its electricity. It didn't take much in order to score a victory against it. This thing evolves into Pikachu? It's a wonder how these things haven't gone extinct."

Falco

"Another member of Star Fox… this time it is a hawk. He attacks just like Fox, but he is a bit more wild and prefers the air, given that he tends to jump around. It made him predictable as I swung Masamune above to strike him down. This is one bird that will not strike me down."

Marth

"The Prince of Altea… I've heard how formidable of a fighter he was in the Melee Tournament. However, it appears that he was a one hit wonder as I was able to strike him easily. The most formidable fighter in his land and this was the best he was able to do? I personally believe Altea won't last that much if I paid it a visit."

Young Link

"Imagine my surprise when I heard there was another Link in the roster. This one is known as the Hero of Time, yet he only has a butter knife for a weapon. However, looks can be deceiving, for this one has a trick up his sleeve… or should I say four? He has these masks that let him transform into various forms. The Deku Mask lets him shoot out pellets and fly into the air. I view this as the weakest. His Goron Mask is a much stronger variant and I unfortunately had a rough time with it. His Zora Mask lets him swim freely in the water and strike swiftly… however, it doesn't really do much on land. His last mask… is a force to be reckoned with. The Fierce Deity. When he brought this out… it was like he was a whole different person. Despite my best efforts, I could not win against this Hero of Time. No wonder he is so beloved. I wonder if I can get my hands on the Fierce Deity Mask and see what would happen if I were to wear it."

Ganondorf

"The Great King of Evil… I had assumed he was just boasting and it was nothing more than for show. He wasn't. This Ganondorf is strong and he will put you in your place if you are not careful. His Final Smash is incredible. Apparently, he can be struck down by only the weapons from a goddess. I wonder if other weapons would strike him down? He merely brushed off my sword attacks and my Gigaflare like they were nothing… but that doesn't mean he can't be beaten. All I had to do was wear him down… which is easier said than done. He is the Great King of Evil… though, I do question why he sometimes has tea parties with Isabelle and this girl named Elise… could it be a ruse or does he have a soft spot?"

Mewtwo

"He calls himself the world's most powerful Pokemon. At first, I scoffed at the idea that he would consider himself "most powerful", but as I fought him… I realized that I was indeed fighting the most powerful Pokemon. His psychic power is to be commended, it is something that none should scoff at. I wonder if he can read my mind… because I've a feeling he knows what I'm going to do before I strike. I wouldn't put it past him."

Roy

"They call him the Red Lion of Pherae and I will say, he's quite skilled in his ability to manipulate fire into his sword and unleash it onto the battlefield. His counter and his Final Smash are not to be taken lightly, for they are powerful. However, he can be overwhelmed should you predict his attacks. He rushes you head on and is quite formidable, but if you are able to combo him, then there's not much he can do. Still, his spirit is quite commendable."

Mr. Game and Watch

"I am most curious how this one came to be. He is flat, yet he can pack a punch if you underestimate him. It's a wonder how I can even see someone as flat as him. His Judgement can either decimate you or do nothing at all. Those bombs of his… they're not exactly the most useful, however. His Oil Spill… I'm not exactly a fan of it. I cannot even comprehend how oil can send you flying… it must be powerful from where he came from. I wonder if he is this much of a loose cannon in his dimension…"

Meta Knight

"He is known as the most powerful Star Warrior in Dreamland. I can see why. He is a formidable opponent and is calm and collected in a fight. He adapts as he fights and is quick on his wings. His sword is quite fascinating to look at. Galaxia… I wonder if I can get my hands on it? This is one fighter from Dreamland that keeps you on your toes. I wonder if he keeps that pink puffball at bay…"

Pit/Dark Pit

"Grouping these two together since they pretty much fight the same. I was not expecting angels to be in this realm… but these two angels are formidable fighters. These two can fight in unexpected ways… summon any weapon from their disposal. I wonder how many weapons they have? However, there are two differences that I have noticed. One difference is their Final Smash. The light one can summon a chariot who can run you over in an instant. The dark one can snipe you from a distance. They also have reflective shields, so I couldn't strike them with a Shadow Flare or a Gigaflare. The second difference is their personalities. The dark one is serious and no-nonsense. The light one… is the opposite of that. I've also seen him eat ice cream off the ground at one point… but aside from that, they are powerful fighters.

That said, it is amusing that the light one cannot fly despite having two wings, yet I can fly with only one, or without it. It's amusing how embarrassing it must be for him."

Zero Suit Samus

"There was one moment when I saw Samus without her armor on, so I thought it would be fitting if I were to fight her without her armor. Thought I could get the upper handhowever, I have realized that she is more agile without the suit, can fly with her jet boots and can paralyze you. Yet, in her Zero Suit, as they call it, she can't take a heavy hit. That being said, she is formidable even without her suit on. I wonder if there's anything she can't do."

Wario

"This has got to be one of the strangest Smashers I have fought. Eat garlic, pull out a motorcycle from nothing, and has a… shall we say, smelly arsenal. His breath is something to behold. I'm amazed anyone can stand to be around him. I am staying far away from him… but if I'm paired up with this man once more, I am bringing a gas mask."

Snake

"If there's one thing I have to say about Solid Snake… is that he had a fascination for explosives. Rocket launchers, bombs, grenades… anything he gets his hands on, he will use and will find a way to make it explode. If it's not that, he is skilled at hand to hand combat. However, all of those skills and explosives he has wasn't enough as I cut through his explosives and knocked him down without much effort. I did have a pleasant conversation with his Colonel though."

Ike

"I wondered how Ike was evenly matched with Cloud before I joined here, and then I fought him. Ragnell is a sword blessed by the gods of his world, and he was able to hold his own against me. Slow he may be, but is a heavy hitter that will knock you around if you are not careful, especially Great Aether. It is no wonder that Cloud is evenly matched with this mercenary. He is quite formidable, and I look forward to my many fights with this mercenary."

Red

"The legendary Pokemon Trainer himself… and yet he has three Pokemon at his disposal. Squirtle, Ivysaur and Charizard. Squirtle is not much to write home about. Ivysaur… I am not sure what it is, but his bulb is powerful enough to send anyone flying if you are above him. His Charizard is formidable as well, especially with it destroying a boulder in front of you or can, as Red puts it, "Mega Evolve". Despite them being formidable… they go into a frenzied state if I target the trainer himself, which I was able to pick off one by one. You'd think the Legendary Pokemon Trainer would have better protection."

Diddy Kong

"Another monkey had joined the roster, but unlike his burly friend who I consider to be powerful… I cannot say the same for his little friend. He was swiftly dealt with… after I had pulled a banana peel off of my face. He thought it was hilarious. I didn't find it so amusing."

Lucas

"Another PSI user, but with one significant difference. Unlike Ness who has PK Flash, he has PK Freeze. It didn't take much to take him down. He uses his PSI Magnet in front of him, but not around him, which I used to my advantage for a Shadow Flare attack. I can tell that he hesitates when he fights. During a battle, you hesitate even once and you will not make it. I can tell he has spirit though… but not enough for me to consider going full strength on him."

Sonic

"I never could have imagined that a hedgehog would be considered the fastest thing alive, but he was able to dodge my attacks with a never ending smirk on his face. His eyes read "I am too slow" and then he summoned these Emeralds to use his Final Smash known as Super Sonic, which he was able to use to knock me around. I must admit, I never thought I'd lose to a hedgehog. Perhaps if I slow him down in some way, he would be an easier target to hit. Is it his shoes or is it those Emeralds? I wonder if I could these Emeralds myself… I do sense powerful energy from them. Perhaps I can use them another time…"

Dedede

"There is something I need to understand. What is it with the residents of Dreamland that make them… perplexing? First it was that puffball, then it was that Star Warrior… and now we have a hammer wielding king. This hammer, for some reason, can fire out rockets and somehow has a jet engine inside. He can throw these spike balls that he can be reflected and thrown back. Then there is his ability to suck in a Flare… and spit it back out. This King of Dreamland… he appears goofy, but hides a warrior that is waiting to burst out when he gets serious. These residents of Dreamland are something to be feared…"

Olimar/Alph

"Commanding these creatures are something to be admired. No matter how many times I cut them down, he can sprout out more at his disposal. These creatures aren't exactly the best at harming individuals. The captain isn't much of a fighter either. Still, throwing these small creatures at bigger enemies… I wonder if he is crueler than he initially lets on? The same goes for the other fighter known as Alph. I wonder if throwing these creatures would be considered a hobby…"

Lucario

"Normally the more hits you take, the weaker you get. However, in this case, the more hits you take… it just makes this Pokemon stronger. Lucario is a formidable fighter, but just because he gets stronger the more he takes damage doesn't mean that he can't be taken down. Despite his best efforts, his aura wasn't enough to strike me down… though, he does pack quite a punch when he gets up close, especially when he Mega Evolves."

ROB

"I have never seen such a robot with a personality such as this one. Despite it having a… interesting personality, it didn't take much for it to quickly adapt to my attacks. It would deflect any of my projectiles back at me and would throw this curious spinning item at me. It can be used against it, however… and despite its best efforts, I was able to cut it down. I have heard that it is the last of its kind. I wonder if I should put it out of its misery."

Toon Link

"And yet, another Link. How many are there, I wonder? I imagine there are more out there. This one is known as the Wind Waker, and he lives up to his name. He commands the winds with a little wand that can easily turn into hurricane winds. I was surprised how he can use it to his advantage as he seems to be unaffected by it. My Flares would not disobey the wind as I had a hard time gripping Masamune. His attacks are swift and to the point, and by the winds of his command, I can see why the Smashers have a hard time against him if he's backed against a corner."

Wolf

"I had assumed that he was part of Star Fox, but he is from a rival group known as Star Wolf. He hunts just like an ordinary wolf, but he, like his adversaries, have a gun. It didn't take much to get rid of his gun, nor did it take much to get him off the stage. He's vicious, but not vicious enough to have me as a meal."

Villager

"Some say that this Villager is a demon. I disagree. While he does have the most unique objects to use at his disposal, he is not one to be feared. The moment he sprouted a tree, I swiftly cut it down and watched it fall on top of him. It did not take much to defeat him. It's a wonder why some call him a demon."

Mega Man

"They call him the Super Fighting Robot. Apparently, he was a big deal when he joined. Apparently, he has a lot of abilities that he uses after defeating robots of his kind. Abilities that aren't much to deal with. His Final Smash might be considered his best… but even if I got blasted by several lasers, it was not enough and I was able to strike him down. Super Fighting Robot? Don't make me laugh."

Wii Fit Trainer

"They allow just about anyone in the mansion, don't they? I imagine these two came in as yoga teachers… but were turned into Smashers instead. They honestly look like mannequins. I never would have imagine yoga to be used in battle, but these two know how to use them. The female tends to fight often, while the male fills in for her if she is at an appointment. Either way, I will not be defeated by yoga. These two are not worth my time."

Rosalina

"She came in right around the same time as me. I could see the surprised looks on everyone's faces when they realized that she was real. I figured that she wasn't much of a fighter… but I was wrong. Apparently, she has a lot of psychic and cosmic abilities that can turn you sideways if you are not careful. This fighter is out of this world indeed. I wonder if she even has a limit? Only time will tell. She is definitely a force to be reckoned with."

Little Mac

"I have nothing to say about this fighter. Formidable on the ground, but put him in the air and he's practically useless. Not even worth saying anything."

Greninja

"This fighter is skilled in hiding in the shadows, but is easy to overwhelm when you get him into a combo. Fast and skilled he may be, but is easy to put into the ground. His Water Shurikens can be easily blockable. This ninja isn't much to write home about."

Mii Fighters

"These three are skilled in their respectable strengths. Strength, Swordplay, and Guns. Each of these fighters are respectable in their own way… however, they aren't much to take down as they can easily be overwhelmed. Out of these three, I would say the Brawler would be the better fighter out of the three. They do like to dress up for the occasion… not sure why."

Palutena

"So here we are… a god meets a fellow god. As we clashed in our duel, I safely assumed that we are both evenly matched… and I must conclude, that I was right. This Goddess is indeed a strong fighter. We both complimented each other after our duel as we were both impressed in our abilities. I wonder why she commands that flightless angel."

Pac-Man

"And yet, another fighter that I have heard is a "big deal" around the Smash Mansion. He throws just about anything at his disposal… cherries, oranges, melons, keys, a fire hydrant… he can even throw ghosts out from his finger tips. Despite him being unpredictable… he couldn't manage to strike me down. I do consider him a loose cannon just Mr. Game and Watch, however…"

Robin

"I have never seen anyone change their strategy on the fly like this tactician. He was able to outpredict me and was able to hold me in place with this Nosferatu spell. When he mentioned he is three steps ahead, he meant it. He was able to keep up with me and keep me on my toes. I can say the same for Reflet, his twin sister. However she is less dignified in her words and would take the time to lecture after she has beaten me. I prefer her twin brother… he is much more reserved."

Lucina

"When I saw Lucina's sword, I figured that she would be the same as Marth. However, she was more formidable than I had anticipated. The way she dances her blade around, how she is graceful in her abilities, not to mention she's able to juggle anyone in the air and the fact that she was able to shatter Scintilla is something to be considered. I've got my eye on her…"

Shulk

"While Robin is three steps ahead, Shulk on the other hand says he can see the future. When I strike, he immediately comes up with a way to counterattack. His Monado Arts mixes up his abilities. Shield for defense, Buster for powerful blows, Speed for making him run faster, you get the idea. I've noticed that his eyes can glow when he's seeing the future. I've yet to come up with a strategy on how to counteract this. When I find a way, he will be struck down."

Bowser Junior

"Unlike Bowser, his son is pathetically easy. His Koopa Clown Car and his fellow Koopalings are no match, even if Junior can turn into a shadowy version of Mario, it is not enough to defeat me. The look on Bowser's face after I defeated his son tells me that he is a protective father. Admirable, I suppose."

Duck Hunt

"I was right when I said they let just about anyone in… someone let their dog into Smash Bros. This mutt works with a duck, along with some mysterious person shooting from an unknown source. However, these animals weren't much. As far as I'm concerned, they're nothing."

Ryu

"As trained, serious, disciplined and reserved as he is, his Hadokens and Shoryukens weren't much to worry about. I can sense something deep inside of him that is screaming to come out. If I can urge him to release that power, then perhaps another fight will be in order. As of now, he's nothing."

Cloud

"Cloud Strife, SOLDIER First Class. He is definitely a worthy opponent. The way he swings his blade with such ferocity, the hateful look in his eyes as I came back into his life. It is amusing. I imagine there will be more ways to get a rise out of him… and I will be there to watch him lose it. Both of us are evenly matched, and I have to thank him for giving me that Black Materia long ago. Even though I die, he always finds a way to call me back. I should be flattered how he often thinks of me. Heh, I had a feeling he missed fighting me. One of these days… he'll give into the dark. If that one boy I fought won't give into the dark, then I can imagine that one day, Cloud will… and I'll be waiting. He thought he could run from me by joining Smash Bros, but he was dead wrong. Wherever he goes, I will be right behind him."

Kamui/Corrin

"I never could imagine I would see a human turn into a dragon, not to mention her sword is quite something. Apparently she and her twin brother, Corrin, come from a complicated family history… but together, they forged their own path and talked it out with their brothers where they unified Hoshido and Nohr. I will say that these two are quite formidable, but are they completely strong enough? Only time will tell."

Bayonetta

"I've heard the complaints against the Umbra Witch, how she was so strong that Master Hand asked her to dial it down a bit. I saw this as unacceptable, so I asked her to fight me at full strength. What I got was an impressive fight. I can assume that we are both evenly matched. I will say that how she fights is a bit odd, however. I never knew you could fight with your hair… but it's something I will never pursue. That's not my style."

Inkling

"I say hair is the oddest way to fight, and then I meet these kids who fight with ink. There's also the fact that they turn into squids and swim in their own ink. However, once their out of ink, they are wide open to counterattack. Nothing they can do after that. No Ink Bombs or a Roller will save them. I think I got all the ink out of my hair, but perhaps another shower will wash it all out."

Daisy

"They say Daisy is Peach's echo fighter… but as Peach fights with grace, I sense none of that with Daisy. The reason why I didn't pair her up with Peach? It is because unlike Peach, she lets her fists do all the talking, plus she implements some of her techniques from soccer, which she uses for her Final Smash. She's a tough one. Peach's echo fighter, she may be… but she is vastly different compared to her. Peach is graceful, Daisy trash talks. Peach is elegant, Daisy is brutal. Need I say more?"

Ridley

"Now this is a space pirate I can get behind. His ferocity is something to be admired, especially when he is smarter than he looks. He is cruel in his fights, he is cunning, he is sadistic and will do everything in his power to win. I must say that I find that respectable. A shiver ran down my spine when I heard his screech, something that I have never felt before. I find that… exhilarating. Perhaps one day, we may team up but I doubt that is very likely to happen. Still, it is something to be admired considering what this space pirate can do. I can see why he takes joy in tormenting Samus."

Simon/Richter

"The two Vampire hunters are apparently a big deal around here. I don't really see it… but in all honesty, I can safely say that these two are a major headache. Their weapons of choice are axes, crosses, holy water and their whips. At first, I thought it wouldn't be a big deal, then they started throwing them all over the place and I didn't get the chance to unleash a Flare on them since I would get doused in Holy Water or get an axe to the face. I can see why Dracula despises them so much."

Chrom

"And here we have Roy's echo fighter… and I do not understand why that is. Chrom has a dancing blade attack like Roy, yet his recovery is like Ike. Should he be Ike's echo fighter instead? Regardless, as I fought Chrom, I quickly realized why he is Roy's. He's quick and ferocious, not to mention his strength is incredible. I thought for sure the stage we were on was going to break in half. Actually, I was beginning to wonder if Masamune would still be intact as I clashed with him. Regardless, this is one fighter I will be on the lookout for."

King K. Rool

"They say the crocodile is also a big deal around here. Again, I'm not sure why. Apparently he once had a nasty rivalry with Yang, but now they are more on friendly terms. I wonder what caused them to be on friendly terms nowadays. Regardless, as I fought this crocodile, I was on my guard as I have heard tales of what he can do. Throw his crown, shoot his Blunderbuss, which is an interesting name for a shotgun and guard with his belly. Honestly, I'm not sure what everyone was talking about. Once you destroy his armor, he's wide open. I guess he is one of those overhyped Smashers that is more bark than their bite."

Isabelle

"One of the friendlier opponents I've faced, and in all honesty, I can tell she's here to have fun. Why shouldn't I let her enjoy herself? After all, she was quick to forgive me after I beaten her and went on her merry way. Curious how one can stay so chipper after being brutally beaten. I question the use of the fishing rod, however."

Ken

"I could have paired Ken up with Ryu, but I chose not to. He may be Ryu's echo fighter, but he is the polar opposite of Ryu. He's more laid back, here to have a great time, cocky, and tends to smile a lot more than Ryu. Kind of reminds me of two princesses that I recently fought. His Final Smashes are vastly different than Ryu as well. It did not take long for me to put him down, however."

Incineroar

"They say Incineroar is a massive powerhouse and once he grabs you, you can kiss your stock goodbye. I don't really see it, he didn't really get close to me as I put him down. He did try to grab me but I would not allow him to do so. This is one big cat that I'm not too worried about."

Piranha Plant

"And I thought the Yoga Instructors were the oddest fighters around here. I never thought a plant such as this one would be agile, but here we are. No matter how many times I tried to cut it down, it hides in its pot. Apparently it is protected by a goddess who loves plants, which would explain why I couldn't cut off the stem. She says its a good boy and listed off the amazing qualities that it has, then attempted to list off all the other amazing "Piranha Plants" out there. While I do not mind fighting a Piranha Plant, I don't really care for motor mouths. A good Gigaflare was enough to quiet her down. As for the Piranha Plant itself, I can safely say that I was pleasantly surprised."

Joker

"A rebellious teenager who fights for justice and steals people's hearts? Imagine my disappointment when I realized it's not the actual heart that they steal. However, despite him looking like an everyday teenager, I quickly learned that he is not your average teenager. He fights with Personas, and will quickly gain the upper hand. He is also surprisingly athletic. Despite me getting a few hits on him, he wasn't going down without a fight and before I knew it, he was victorious. I suppose there was something about him that I never saw coming."

Luminary

"The Legendary Hero of Erdrea with a legendary blade that can seal the darkness. That sounds very familiar. However, unlike a certain hero of Hyrule, this fighter has a completely random moveset. Bounce, Thwack, Kaclang, Hatchet Man, Sleep Spells, Magic Burst, Kamikazee, Hocus Pocus… and then there's the one that makes everyone frustrated, his strong critical hits. You might be wondering if I was able to best him in battle. Despite my best efforts, I could not strike him down. Regardless, despite his arsenal, this is one fighter that I will be wary about."

Banjo & Kazooie

"And yet another fighter that is a big deal around here. I do not understand what makes these two special. Perhaps its the bear… or perhaps it's the trash talking bird. Regardless, these two could not strike me down. I believe the bear's biggest downfall is the bird itself. Confident, cocky, doesn't seem to know when to be quiet… As far as I'm concerned, these two aren't up to the task."

Terry

"Just like with Captain Falcon, this man shouts his attacks which makes him predictable. I can easily counter his Power Dunk and I can also easily counter his Buster Wolf with an Octoslash. Power Geyser isn't much of a hassle either. They say he's a big deal, but I don't see it."

Byleth

"The moment I heard that Byleth is a strong fighter, I was immediately ready to see what she was capable of. She has a spear, a bow, an axe, if you can call it that and a sword with an impressively long reach. I wonder what that jester would think if he saw Byleth's sword. He'd probably think the same thing when he saw Masamune. I wondered how far reaching her sword was, so I knocked her off stage and to my surprise, it can reach from a far distance. I was impressed as I watched her pull up from the stage, then she used her sword to wrap it around me as she then pulled me close and hit me with her axe. This fighter is incredibly strong. Not as strong as me, but it is to be wary of. Her versatility is incredible.

As for her twin brother, Bereto, he is also strongbut he only relies on ordinary weapons and magic. Not really impressive, but I can see why he aims to be just like his sister."

Min Min

"This is a very unique fighter. Her arsenal consists of her arms, or ARMS, I should say. A ring, a dragon and some yellow electrifying orb. Her first two ARMs are fast and one even fires a laser. Her last one is slow, yet powerful if you let it hit you. Surprisingly, she has a somersault kick that can reflect projectiles. She's very versatile and her range is something to be wary of. I was curious to know why is known as the Ramen Bomber, so she invited me to her ramen shop that she had set up in the Smash Mansion. Her ramen isn't half bad."

Steve

"Yet another big deal around here, according to some people. His arsenal is mostly just building things and crafting stronger weapons. He tends to dig for materials, which is what he did during our fight. The moment he crafted the Diamond Sword and Pick Axe, not to mention Diamond Armor, he was ready to fight. No matter what I threw at him, he would not go down easily. I assumed this would be an easy fight, but he wouldn't give up. I can say the same for his friend, Alex. I am not sure what I think of these two, but they are decent fighters."

Ruby

"The first fighter I've seen that uses a scythe, which is also a gun for some reason. She also uses a boomerang and something called a "Palm". However, despite this huntress's best efforts, she couldn't beat me. She's young, and her fighting abilities are questionable at best. I've watched her fight, but when she fought me, there was nothing she could do about it. Perhaps if she gets stronger, she may have a decent chance on fighting me. But for now, she's nothing to worry about."

Blake

"According to the young huntress, her team consists of four. However, one of her teammates is incapacitated at the moment. I desire to fight someone at their full strength, so while I am waiting for her to make a full recovery, I went right for Blake Belladonna. Her weapons typically consist of a ribbon that can be a gun, and a whip. She also has these claws. She can use her ability called a semblance to disappear briefly and then strike. I will say, she is versatile, but one slip up was all I needed to score a victory. The moment she appeared behind me to strike, I countered with a Shadow Flare to briefly stun her and then I sliced her off the stage which the Shadow Flare was enough to finish her off. They say cats have nine lives, but I think I was able to snuff out all of them."

Yang

"Probably one of the most reckless fighters I've ever met. Apparently she learned the Hadoken from Ryu, but that wasn't enough to score a victory. Despite her best efforts, it did not take long for me to make her lose her temper. I was victorious the moment I cut off a strand of her hair…"

Jaune

"Perhaps the most basic of all fighters, Jaune Arc is nothing more than a gadfly to me. I will admit, he was stronger than he looks considering he wasn't one to back down from a fight. He also has this axe that he is decent with… but honestly, this is one fighter that I am not too worried about."

Nora

"I personally believe that Nora is more of a loose cannon than Mr. Game and Watch and Pac-Man. She's hyper and can easily shock you with her electric abilities, not to mention her hammer and her grenade launcher are nothing to laugh about. However, I was still able to score a victory against her. All of that power for nothing."

Pyrrha

"Now here's an interesting fighter. She was able to keep my sword at bay, preventing me from striking her. Despite her efforts, she couldn't block my flare attacks, and once she lost her concentration, my sword was ready to attack. She is known as the most skilled huntress at Beacon Academy. Honestly, if this is their best… then this Beacon Academy isn't all that cracked up to be."

Ren

"Perhaps one of the calmer fighters I've faced, this boy was agile enough to keep me guessing… for a short time. Despite his weapons of choice, it did not take long for me to cut him down. Team JNPR is of no concern."

Coco

"This is one fashionista that loses her temper if you mess up her wardrobe, which is what I did to her during the fight. She completely lost her focus and started shooting like a wild child. I was able to finish her off before she could realize what hit her. Guess she's not really worth the hype."

Fox Alistair

"At first, I thought this was a joke. A blind man fighting me? I thought this was pitiful. However, he has a device that lets him "see" in front of him. The moment that he dodged my attacks, I knew that this was no joke. He is a capable fighter, but even with his device, he could not win."

Velvet

"Now this is a very unique fighter. She does know martial arts, but she did snap a picture before our fight. To my surprise, she can summon any weapon at her disposal in a holographic light which she was able to use weapons such as the Master Sword, Bayonetta's guns, the Belmont's axes, Min Min's ARMS, K. Rool's Blunderbuss and many more. This also includes Masamune. This is one bunny that knows how to use any weapon. She studies your moves with any weapon, and then she copies them. She may have lost, but if she was able to gracefully hold and fight with Masamune, then you earned my respect."

Yatsuhashi

"They say the bigger you are, the harder you fall… which is exactly what happened with this one. He's strong, I will give him that. However, it didn't take much to topple him over. Team CFVY is nothing to worry about… well, most of them."

Jade

"The first fighter to fight specifically with a vacuum. This one is no ordinary vacuum as it can use Fire/Ice/Water elementals at her disposal. However, she can only do so much with it since it did not take long to take her down."

Iris

"I must say that I was not expecting someone like this one to use my weaknesses against me, according to her semblance. She was able to use it to her advantage, and despite my best efforts, she was victorious… is what I would say if I hadn't anticipated someone using my weaknesses against me. For when she tried to strike, I quickly struck her with a Supernova that was able to stun her which I was able to finish her off. Nice try."

Nyx

"Perhaps the only fighter that knows how to use traps and crossbows to her advantage. However, no arrow could pierce through me as I was able to take her down before she set up her traps. Pathetic."

Xena/Dark Xena

"I've heard tales of her having a split personality, and how she was at war with herself before finding neutral ground and working together with her other personality. Her psychic abilities, along with her bow is not one to be taken lightly, especially when she lets her other self take over. Both of them work together in harmony… and rumor has it that she once held her own against a mentally unstable vampire. They couldn't defeat me, but I was impressed that they could keep up with me. Team JINX are nothing, though the two Xenas are something to behold."

Winter

"Despite the one Schnee being incapacitated, the other was willing to fight. However, she could only delay the inevitable despite holding her own with all her might. One Schnee down, another to go."

Ilia

"I can easily tell what this girl is thinking, given that her skin changes depending on her mood. Despite her efforts, I can tell that she lacks confidence… either that or I did something that intimidated her. Who can blame her?"

Sienna

"The leader of the White Fang. She's definitely a fighter for sure, but despite her efforts, it did not take long for her to be cut down. This is the so-called leader of the White Fang and this was the best she could do? How pathetic."

Shovel Knight

"Shovel Knight is an interesting case. He was accidentally thrown into the Assist Trophies when he was meant to be a fighter. So not only is he on the roster, he is also an Assist Trophy. He fights with a shovel and anything else in his arsenal. Scythes, his fists, anything that he can throw at you. He's very versatile, and rumor has it that he once fought Toads and an angry Spartan. According to Shovel Knight, this Spartan is very powerful, but he was able to best him despite being brutally beaten up. I wonder if I will have the chance to fight this Spartan? I will say, Shovel Knight is not one to be taken lightly."

Guile

"I did mention I fought a few Assist Trophies that I thought would be a decent fight. Guile looked ready for a challenge and I accepted… unfortunately for him, he did not last long. His Sonic Booms and his Flash Kicks can only do so much. He's not worth my time."

Akira (Virtua Fighter)

"I can say the same for Akira. He may be strong, but his strength can only get him so far."

Alucard

"When I heard that Alucard came with the Belmonts, I thought for sure he was another axe thrower. He wasn't. To my surprise, he was able to not do any of that. He has a rapier which he can use to strike without mercy, turn himself into a flurry of bats that can knock you over, turn himself into mist which he was able to dodge my attacks, plus many more moves that he would use to strike me down. He is far more respectable than the Belmonts."

Shadow

"Shadow is vastly different compared to Sonic. While Sonic relies on speed, Shadow relies on Chaos Control, where he can easily stop time and kick you around. He also has Chaos Spear and Chaos Blast that isn't to be taken lightly. Plus, he can also use the Chaos Emeralds to turn golden just like Sonic. He's someone who you do not want to mess with, which is admirable."

Zero

"I was not expecting this robot to pack quite the punch. His attacks with his sword is incredible. Ryuenjin, Kuenzan and Genmu Zero are quite strong indeed. I can see why people consider him to be an intimidating opponent, and why he sometimes fills in for Mega Man if no one else is available. I will definitely keep my eye on him."

Black Knight

"The one great Zelgius had fallen to Ike in battle, but he was revived and turned into an Assist Trophy. He is definitely strong with Alondite… yet he's incredibly slow. Despite that, he's not to be taken lightly. I often see Zelgius dueling against Ike. I have to say, his strength impresses me."

Rodin

"A fallen angel that Bayonetta had brought over to assist others in battle, and he is also the bartender in the Smash Mansion bar. When I chose to fight him, he nearly took my breath away… literally. He is not one to be messed with. I can see why Bayonetta admires Rodin. After our battle, he offered me a drink. How could I refuse?"

Knuckles

"Yet another Assist Trophy that is one of Sonic's friends. Compared to Sonic and Shadow, he is one that lets his fists speak, though he also does a Homing Attack and burrows under the ground. He was quite the versatile fighter, especially when he uses the Shovel Claw and the Chaos Emeralds when he wants to. This is one fighter I will keep my eye on."

Spring Man

"When I heard Spring Man was Min Min's friend, I thought I would have another interesting fight on my hands. However, unlike Min Min… Spring Man was as basic as he can get. Despite his efforts, he was quickly defeated. I can see why they chose Min Min over him."

Ghirahim

"There's something interesting about this one. I sense that he has a hidden agenda, but he will not confide what he is planning. He can teleport and can also catch my blade between his fingers. Before long, he was using the Masamune, but I was undeterred since the length made him swing it about awkwardly. It didn't take long for me to take it back. Ghirahim is a fighter that will keep you on his toes. I question what he is planning though."

Phosphora

"Lightning fast and works for a goddess, I was thinking she was going to be a challenging fight. However, it wasn't the case. I was able to deflect her lightning strikes and then struck her down. Being fast can only get you so far."

Knuckle Joe

"Another fighter from Dreamland… however, unlike the ones on the roster, his jabs and Rising Break aren't much to worry about. He's not worth the trouble."

Tiki

"This dragon is easily one of the more powerful ones I've faced, however her fire breath attack can only do so much as I was able to strike her down. I did notice she fell asleep right after her fight. Marth explained to me she's narcoleptic. If that's the case, then she's not worth my time."

Skull Kid

"I heard how much of a trickster Skull Kid was, so I decided to put him to the test. He turned me invisible and was able to turn myself around, but that wasn't enough to stop me. He decided to throw a Moon at me, but I was able to cut in half before it could touch the ground. I was not impressed how he fought. He can throw all the moons he wants, but it won't be enough. I do sense some darkness from that mask of his… I wonder what'd happen if I wear to wear it…"

Lyn

"I could only prepare myself as I fought Lyn. She is swift and agile, and can cut through you in the blink of an eye. She was able to do decently against me, but despite her speed and agility, she couldn't hold her own for much longer. She tasted defeat just as she tasted my blade."

Standings

Conclusion

"And thus concludes my analysis on all the Smashers and Assist Trophies. There are a lot of fighters that could give me a hard time should I bring despair to Remnant and there are those who I consider are a waste of time. However, during my time here in Smash, I have heard tales of a strong huntress that goes by the name of Esdeath. Who is this woman that these Smashers talk highly about? Is she as strong as she says? My curiosity has piqued. Whoever she is, wherever she is, I will find her… and I will see if she is strong as they say. That is my current goal right now… to find Esdeath and to fight her."

Unknown: Weiss, Esdeath

Hahahaha... I thought about breaking this apart in a few chapters when I thought about doing this one, but when I saw I was at 3,500 plus words when I was on Zero Suit, I thought "Eh, I can power through. See how far I can go." ...Ten thousand plus words later. *sweatdrops* I went overboard, oh well! I had fun doing this.
