On a Sunny Wednesday morning, Grisha Yeager had arrived within Mitras, the Capital of the Three Walls. He had worn a dark brown vest, over a white shirt with a handkerchief covering her neck, a long black jacket, a pair of black pants, black shoes, a black hat and glasses. He wielded a suitcase in his left hand.
"You finally made it, dad. Took you long enough." Adult Eren Yeager said as he reunited with his father, Grisha within Mitras. Eren had worn a green trench coat with the Survey Corps emblem on his back and shoulders.
"I came as fast as I can, Eren!" Grisha responded. "Now, lead me to the direction of the young patient."
"Follow me." Eren led Grisha through the long castle halls towards Historia's location. Another forty seconds, Eren had brought to Queen Frieda's bedroom. "In here."
Grisha stared at Frieda's bedroom door for a moment. 'This is the Queen's bedroom.' Grisha glanced at Eren. "Alright. I'll treat and take care of the patient to the best of my abilities."
Eren opened Frieda's door wide so Grisha could enter. "After you."
Grisha did not reply to Eren before he had walked inside of Frieda Reiss' bedroom. As soon as he walked inside the royal bedroom, he glanced and saw Frieda attending to her younger half-sister, Historia. Frieda, who was dressed in white like she would go in prayer and her black hair was tied in a bun. She sat in a brown chair besides her bed, while Historia was sleeping in it. Historia had a red fever on her face and a soaked hot towel on her forehead.
Frieda gasped as she looked over towards the door and noticed Doctor Grisha Yeager walk inside her room. They stared at each other for a moment as nothing but silence had occurred. Frieda remembered Eren telling her that Grisha would've killed her, if she didn't help save Paradis. And Grisha saw what was supposed to happen, if Frieda had refused to help save Eldians of Paradis.
"Doctor Yeager!" Frieda had stood from her chair.
"It is an honor to meet you, again, Queen Reiss." Grisha tried bowing before Frieda.
"I-It's alright." Frieda blushed a bit while waving her hands.
Grisha raised his head and looked at the sick, sleeping Historia who appeared to be sick as a dog. "How has the young lady been feeling?"
"Not good. I don't know what's wrong with my little sister. She has been in this state for the past few days." Frieda explained.
In his mind, Grisha did not recall seeing Historia in his supposed future memories when he massacred the Reiss Family. "I see..." he walked close to the bed where Historia was lying and stared at her red face. It took Grisha a moment to diagnose Historia.
Historia suddenly coughs.
Grisha stared at Historia. "Has she been coughing recently?"
"Ever since I became queen... yes." Frieda answered as she gave Grisha space to check out Historia. "It just appeared out of nowhere. One moment she was fine when I saw her-and the next, she started getting sick." Frieda explained to Grisha.
"I see..." Grisha removed the white towel from Historia's forehead. It was red as a tomato. 'This is getting bad.' He had thought as he finally came up with the diagnosis. "It seems that this young lady is suffering from the case of Pneumonia."
Frieda gasped. "Pneumonia?"
"Yes. It's an infection that inflames the air sacs in either one or both lunges. The air sacs within her lunges might be filled with fluid or purulent material-which causes her to start coughing roughly. " Grisha explained to Frieda as he opened his suitcase and pulled out a small bottle and needle.
Frieda gasped as she had recognized the needle Grisha possessed. She received a small flashback of when she once injected the Titan serum within her veins, then transformed. Part of Frieza started getting nervous just seeing Grisha suck the liquids into the needle. "Wait!" Frieda ordered.
"Hm?" Grisha slightly looked back at Frieda.
"That needle... are you going to-"
"No. I'm not going to turn your sister into a Titan." Grisha said.
Frieda's heart started beating normally. She sighed in relief.
"Now, I'm going to give her something that will make her lunges feel better..." Grisha carefully poured the liquid of antibiotics into a small teaspoon.
"What kind of medicine is that?" Frieda asked.
"It's a little something called antibiotics. You may call it miracle medicine." Grisha said as he opened the bottle and poured.
"Okay." Frieda carefully watched Grisha as she watched him attempt to give Historia a needle of antibiotics.
Three Minutes Later
Grisha had stepped out Frieda's chambers and saw Eren, whom was waiting outside in the halls.
"How did it go?" Eren asked.
"Everything went well. I gave her antibiotics to rid of the pneumonia. She should be fine within the next thirty-six hours." Grisha had told Eren the news. "Now, I must return home and..."
"About that, dad." Eren interrupted Grisha.
"What is it, Eren?" Grisha responded.
Eren begun rubbing his left ear. "I didn't just call you over here to cure Historia..."
"What are you saying?" Grisha asked, then suddenly heard sounds of footsteps in the halls.
"I also called you here, because there's someone I know who wants to talk to you." Eren said his eyes looked away from Grisha's face.
In the next four seconds, less than a dozen soldiers of the Survey Corps. had approached the father and son Yeagers within the halls. Commander Erwin was present as well.
"What a pleasure to finally meat you, Doctor Yeager. I am Erwin Smith, the thirteenth Commander of the Survey Corp." Erwin said formally, then stretched his left hand towards Grisha.
Grisha pressed the bridge of his glasses close to his face. His lenses were whitened by light. "I see..."
"If you don't mind coming with us, Doctor Yeager, I have a few questions to ask. How long the meeting will take depends on you." Erwin said.
Grisha slightly looked at Eren from his right, then looked towards Erwin Smith. "Alright." He agreed to follow Erwin and the Survey Corp. soldiers elsewhere.
Eren had stayed behind, watching his father leave with Erwin Smith.
"Do you think your father will give us the information we need?" Frieda asked after leaving her bedroom and stood next to Eren. She glanced at Grisha's backside yards.
"He has to. On this island, no one knows Marley better than him." Eren said as he continued staring at Grisha, yards away until they had made a corner in the halls.
Meanwhile, Erwin Smith had led Grisha Yeager on a walk towards a dining room which happened to be clean and fancy. There were two windows on the wall, a few yards apart from each other. A large red fancy rug on the floor, a round white table and a shelf where bottles are placed on it.
Erwin walked in the room first, then sat at a round white table that only had two chairs. "Take a seat."
Grisha Yeager followed Erwin's command and had sat at a round table in a fancy room. He was aware that he is being interrogated by Erwin Smith. There were a few Survey Corp. soldiers in the room as well. One soldier was standing by the door, while three other soldiers stood by a wall, ready to take notes of everything that goes on.
"Now if you don't mind, I kindly ask for you to place both hands on the table?" Erwin said.
Grisha sniffed. "Very well." He placed his hands on top of the white round table.
"Now, let us start with where you're from..."
Grisha Yeager and Erwin Smith stared at each other, making eye contact for a moment.
For the next two hours, Grisha Yeager had told Erwin Smith about his past life with Marley. He revealed that it was the death of his younger sister, Faye Yeager that caused him to despise Marley for years and inspired him to join the Eldian Restorationists. A group that meant to restore Eldians to their former glory. But the group was later found and caught by Marleyans, because Grisha failed to understand Zeke as a father. On Paradis, Grisha watched his fellow restorationists and wife, Dina turn into Titans in front of his very eyes. Before he could suffer the same fate, he was saved by Eren Kruger and was given a mission by him to recover the Founding Titan.
After The Meeting
Grisha walked towards the large castle doors peacefully, until he was met by his adult son, Eren.
Eren walked away from the door and approached his father. "Did the meeting go well?" Eren asked.
"It did. I will be traveling to Marley within a month's time, now." Grisha had informed Eren.
"I hope you're not disappointed, though."
"To be honest, I am disappointed in going back to the country I was born from. But what I am most disappointed in is you." Grisha had a serious look on his face.
"Why?"
"You kept going to Marley a secret until I arrived. Now I will be revisiting my birth country with the Survey Corps, too." Grisha said, feeling a little irritated.
Eren shrugged his shoulders a bit. "Hey, if I had told you from the start, would you have wanted to come on your own free will?"
Grisha sighed. "I would think hard about it. But in the end... No." Grisha turned from Eren and started walking towards the doors.
"Don't you want to see Zeke again?" Eren asked, which made Grisha stop walking.
"How can I..." Grisha thought about the times when Zeke ignored and failed to understand Zeke in Marley. "I failed him as a father." He grasped his head and his jaw trembled as he thought of his past life with Zeke. "I bred him because of his royal blood status..." Grisha thought back during the day Zeke was born. "And I used him as a tool for my own personal gain..." Grisha then thought back when he found an adolescent Zeke playing with a toy monkey. "I enlisted him into the Warrior Program so that he could take back the Founding Titan..." Grisha then thought back when he witness Zeke failing in a race, then turned away. "But what I failed to see most was that Zeke was my son... a boy." Grisha reminisced the day when an adolescent Zeke had arrested him and Dina. "I have no right to face him at all..." Grisha started tearing up, thinking about Zeke. "If I had treated Zeke like a normal boy, then-"
Eren noticed that Grisha was getting upset as he thought about his family. "Hey." Eren placed his left hand on onto Grisha's right shoulder, catching his attention. "Don't kill yourself over it. If you hadn't treated Zeke the way you did, then I would not be here."
"Eren..." Grisha mumbled as he started to feel like he was going into shock.
"You did what you thought was best. As Attack Titans... we move forward, no matter what happens. Even if we die-and even after we die." Eren gave Grisha a serious look. "We started this sto-" Suddenly, Eren grunted and developed a headache which through Grisha off guard. Eren's feet were a little off balance and he clutched his left forehead with his left hand.
"Eren? What's wrong?" Grisha asked as he watched Eren move a little off balance. "Say something, Eren!"
"So... something's happened... in Shiganshina." Eren said while panting a bit.
Grisha gasped. "What?"
Later That Night
The time was now Nine-Fifteen in the evening. The sky was dark, no stars shined and lights at the Reiss Chapel were on, Rod Reiss had stood on the porch dressed in a brown coat, brown pair of pants, black shoes, a black vest over a white colored shirt. He seemed like he was going into business. Rod Reiss waiting for someone to arrive for a few minutes. As he waited, he looked down at his right wrist and checked his brown watch to see what time it was.
After waiting for fifteen minutes, Rod saw a black horse carriage driving towards the chapel, miles away. Rod Reiss walked off the steps to approach the driver as the black horse carriage had suddenly arrived. The person who was sitting on top and driving the black horse carriage was Kenny Ackerman.
"Hey, now!" Kenny greeted Rod as he jumped off the top of the black horse carriage.
"You're are late, Kenny... the arrival time was supposed to be at Nine o' clock." Rod Reiss told Kenny.
"Don't blame me for being late. It's hard to cover your tracks when everyone is looking for you. I had to cut a few throats to to steal this baby." Kenny said in a slick tone as he patted one of the doors.
"Did you bring the Founder?" Rod asked Kenny.
"Did you really have to ask that? I wouldn't have shown up, if I didn't bring him." Kenny then opened up the doors. "But, I gotta admit... This kid was a stubborn one." Kenny as he stared at the boy's body.
There was a boy lying unconscious inside of the black horse carriage. He lied sideways on a seat and the boy's body placed within a potato sack and a white cloth was wrapped around his mouth. The person that Kenny had kidnapped was a ten year-old Eren Yeager.
Author's Note: The Younger Eren has been kidnapped. Next chapter will be about how he's been kidnapped.
