Disclaimer: I do not own Attack on Titan.

After spending days away at Historia's family farm, Frieda Reiss returned to the Capital of Paradis along with a younger Eren Yeager, Mikasa Ackerman and Carla Yeager. Frieda dressed in a white shirt, green dress skirt and black shoes. Twenty minutes after returning, Frieda and had reunited with her fiancé... a Nineteen-year-old Eren Yeager days after Zeke had visited Paradis.

"I'm happy that you made it back okay." Eren said as he hugged Frieda.

"I'm happy to be back, as well. Did everything go okay, while I was away?" Frieda asked while hugging Adult Eren. Shortly after returning to the capital and reuniting with Adult Eren.

"Yeah. Everything went about just as I planned. Zeke agreed to help us." Eren told Frieda as he held her.

Frieda gasped. "He did?"

Flashback

After listening to his father Grisha's speech, Zeke looked back to Eren Yeager who watched and listened to their conversation. He then looked back to his father, Grisha who still held his stretched arm out toward him. He was confused. He didn't know whether to listen to his father and move forward or distrust him and transform into the Bestial Titan. But he knows if he does try to transform, he'll be instantly attacked by Levi Ackerman who stood close to Zeke and still held a blade near Zeke's neck. All eyes in the room were on Zeke Yeager.

Eren blinked.

Zeke lowered his head a bit and let out a deep sigh. "Alright, fine. I'll do it.

Grisha gasped. "You mean...?"

"I now decided to give you a chance at redemption... dad." Zeke said as he glanced at Grisha.

Grisha teared up and smiled. "Zeke. I'm so ha-"

"But..." Zeke raised a hand. "I must warn you and say that the childhood trauma might take some time to get rid of." Zeke said.

End Flashback

"I'm happy that Zeke decided to start healing." Frieda continued smiling.

"I am, too. But it's going to take some time for him to forget his childhood trauma. Also..." Eren scratched his left ear.

"What's wrong?"

"Sorry. I was just thinking about my mom. Hopefully, she doesn't get mad." Eren mentioned.

"Why would Miss Carla be mad?" Frieda asked, confusingly.

"She doesn't know about dad's earlier life. She has no idea about Zeke and Marley.

"Oh, that's right. Miss Carla has lived int the walls her entire life." Frieda recalled.

"Sooner or later, my dad has to come forward and tell her everything he knows." Eren said.

Frieda placed her fingertips over her lips and giggled. "Hopefully, everything would go well."

A thought had just entered Eren's mind. "Oh. And there's something else I want to tell you."

"What is it?"

"Zeke said sometime after he finished healing... We will be going to Marley." Eren stated.

Frieda gasped in surprise. "Marley? Really?" Frieda recalled as she had once read a book about Marley, which was kept a secret in the Reiss Family.

"Yes. Just you, me and dad. We don't know when he'll be taking us. So, we have to prepare for what is to come." Eren warned Frieda.

"I see... this will be the first time that I ever leave Paradis." Frieda said.

"Don't worry. You'll have me and dad to protect you, along the way." Eren said, with no worry at all. "By the way. How did everything go with you and my family?"

"We had so much fun at Historia's family farm. We had done different activities, while there. Me, Mikasa, Miss Carla, the "younger" you, Historia and Miss Alma had all rode horses together around the farm." Frieda stated.

Brief Flashback

In a grassy field on a sunny afternoon. Frieda Reiss led a trail of three horses walking around Historia's farm. There were three horses being used to ride on. One adult and one child rode on a single horse, together. First was Frieda Reiss and a young Mikasa Ackerman who both rode on the same brown horse, which led the trail. Mikasa sat in front of Frieda. Next is Historia Reiss and her mother, Alma riding the same horse, together. And after them is finally, the young Eren and Carla who rode on the same horse together.

End Brief Flashback

"Wait, Alma? Are you talking about Historia's mom?" Adult Eren asked.

Frieda nodded. "Mm-hmm."

"But, I thought she hated Historia for the sole purpose of existing?" Eren asked as he once recalled learning of Historia's history, once.

Frieda's smile turned into a mid-frown. "I know. Both Miss Carla and I tried to reason with Miss Alma and convince her to think of Historia as her pride and joy-rather than her past mistake. I didn't want to use the Founder... But not either me, nor Miss Carla could convince her, otherwise. So, I used the Founder and altered Miss Alma's memories and personality to make her love Historia." Frieda said.

Brief Flashback

Outside of Historia's family barn, Frieda Reiss hugged Alma and activated the Founder to alter Alma's memories and feelings toward Historia. Alma's eyes begun shining with light.

Alma gasped.

Frieda let go of Alma.

Afterward, Alma looked around at her surroundings and didn't see Historia in sight. "Pardon me. But do you know where my daughter Historia could be? I would like to show her a novel that I am currently writing."

Brief End Flashback

"I'm so embarrassed." Frieda said with a bit of depression in her voice.

Eren then rested his hands on Frieda's shoulders. "Don't be. You did the right thing. She was never going to change her mind on how she felt about Historia. No matter the circumstances. In my timeline, Alma still cursed Historia-even up until her death when Kenny killed her."

"I see." Frieda softly replied.

"What happened, afterward?" Eren asked.

"Oh yes!" Frieda's smile had returned. "After that, Mikasa, Historia and I made crowns from straw and flowers..."

Flashback

As the sun was setting on that day, Frieda, Historia, Carla, Mikasa and Alma had made crowns from straw and flowers inside the barn. Historia finished crafting a crown early and offered it to the younger Eren.

Mikasa's eyes gleamed red as she saw Historia offer her crown to Eren. She gripped her flower crown so hard it had broken in half.

End Flashback

"I just realize how protective Mikasa is... she cares for you a lot and doesn't like it when other girls-besides herself and Miss Carla give you flowers." Frieda giggled.

Eren nodded. "That's definitely Mikasa for you. Always protective and would never leave my side."

"Tell me. Was the Mikasa from your timeline the same way?" Frieda asked.

Eren's eyes glanced up a bit and couldn't help but think of the last time he saw Mikasa Ackerman from his timeline. "She was. But back then-or what is to come... I pushed her away, a lot. At first, I never truly understood why Mikasa protected me so much. Nor have I ever personally thanked her for looking out for me. I probably wouldn't be here if I didn't have people like her and Captain Levi saving me, constantly." Eren said as he thought of Mikasa during his teen years.

"Sounds like you miss her, a lot." Frieda muttered.

"I honestly do." Eren nodded, then glanced down at her feet. "Before I came here, I was the only family Mikasa had left. The last time I saw her was when I made Mikasa cry in a restaurant."

Brief Flashback

Eren sat at a round brown table and met with his two friends such as Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert and a bruised Gabi Braun. They all had both their hands on the table.

"Ever since we were kids, Mikasa... I always hated you." Eren said.

Mikasa cried.

End Brief Flashback

Frieda remained silent.

"I said those horrible things to Mikasa, because I wanted to keep her safe from harm. I wanted her to stop following me whenever I faced danger. I was trying to protect her and everyone inside Paradis from the world's hate, because they're all precious to me. That's why I wanted to start the Rumbling process. But now I see that the route I tried taking to protect her and everyone else from the truth was wrong... I should've just simply tried talking to both Mikasa and Armin and kindly asked them not to follow me. I regret that decision, now." Eren told Frieda.

After listening to Eren's speech, Frieda's eyes were darkened with shadow and could feel her blood boil. Her fists had clenched in frustration in one moment. And in the next, she calmly sighed. "Eren..."

Eren looked and made eye contact with Frieda.

SLAP.

Eren's right cheek was a light shade of pink after feeling the force of Frieda's slap.

"How could you ever think about making an innocent woman cry? Especially a woman like Mikasa-who valued you more than anyone else-even her own life? Do you understand how hurt she must've been when you said those horrible things? You must've hurt her so bad that she might've lost the will to live!" Frieda shouted out of frustration and anger.

"I know and I feel terrible about it! I'm sorry!" Adult Eren apologize while tearing up.

Frieda grunted, then slapped Eren again. "Don't apologize to me! Apologize to Mikasa, when you see her, again!"

Eren grasped his right cheek as it had gotten redder. "W-what?"

"That's right! You and I are going back to your old timeline and you're going to personally apologize to Mikasa! Then, you're going to thank her for everything she's done for you!" Frieda then pointed at her chest. "That's an order coming from your Queen!"

Eren could easily see the fire burning within Frieda's sky-blue eyes as he could tell that she was frustrated. Eren then got his emotions in check within the next fifteen seconds in front of the young strong-willed Queen. "Okay. Your wish is my command." Eren then took a knee before Frieda. "But we're going to need some help."

"Hm?" Frieda raised her left eyebrow.

The Next Day

On the next morning, Adult Eren had approached Ymir, while she was in her room lying on top of a bed-staring directly at the ceiling. She felt bored out of her mind. Wanting to find something to do with her time.

"Hey."

"What do you want now? I'm kind of busy being bored!" Ymir asked, feeling bored.

"You wanna go on a crazy adventure?" Adult Eren asked.

Ymir swung her legs off the bed and faced Adult Eren. "What kind of adventure?" Ymir asked, curiously.

"An adventure that will that'll be worth your while." Adult Eren said.
