Episode Ignis: Omen of the Night

Gladiolus crossed the street, checked both lanes for incoming cars, and proceeded to the main road, unfazed. He drew closer to a nearby squeezed alleyway where he was hidden from the lively townspeople, children running around carelessly unaware of the declining sunlight in hours. Distancing himself from Prompto and Ignis with thoughts of the First King to accompany them. He, once did because the Imperials targeted Noctis and his friends to avert reaching the Titan. Infuriated, heedless to put an argument to his friends, instead processed his anger to the wall. Punching the wall with left bare knuckle consistently. Eventually it bled due to abuse on the solid wall of course.

Grunting, clenching his teeth, tensing his facial muscles in annoyance, he cursed in profanity slip out.

Defeated, he stood quietly, leaning on the battered wall and hiding his face in his arm rested on the wall. His left hand was clenched so tightly that he could have crushed a brick... well, no visible bricks, but certainly the strongest one.

The sounds of crowded streets muffled as he detected the noise of pipes above him screeching. Lestallum is quite old, but wonderful sanctuary, running a power plant that supplies energy to the entirety of Eos. Plus, plenty of coalesce to stay in and ample space for training. No wonder Ignis suggested this safe haven in the largest city of Eos.

Yet, he wouldn't accept Noctis death.

Reconsider an alternative route to avert this madness of destiny?

...Or succumb a cycle of blight to ward off Starscourge.

Ignis descended from the future to this day, whether his diverse plan executed in his favor, as granted to keep his promise to save Noct and Eos. Amicitia knew it was going to punch him in the stomach, but Noctis Lucis Caelum CXIV. His former friend accepted his journey upon claiming the Mystic, the change of wind picked up. Noctis had no other choice to save Eos from Starscourge and eliminate the war of Imperials once and for all - with a price of his. Cor has responded to the group what he was fulfilling as King. Oh, how he disagreed with this future King awaits to oblige his own blood to save mankind.

And Noctis is going to die.

I'm supposed to die for Noct. I'm a Shield's King dammit!

Failure for Noct, as a friend.

Gladio growled again. A brink moment, prick tear forming above his eyelid.

Damn.

Hell, asking a girl for help to escape Niflheim!

The vigorous man rubbed his eyes gently with his bloodied left knuckle and stared. Wound overwhelmed his fist with hatred consumed his mind. Pulling out a potion from Armiger, he crushed it into a fine powder. As soon as it touched his skin, the curative instantly responded, and his entire body glowed green with the active compounds. His bare skin returned, but his knuckles were still swollen and bruised. The injury was minor, but the emotional had taken its toll on his knuckles.

Sprawled out on the warm wall, he released his tension by closing his eyes and taking deep breaths. Staring at the thin wall of Lestallum, he blinked several times before letting out a sigh. The hardships of resources had led Ignis to reveal an alternative. Considering Ignis' proposition might lead to better yields. As Ignis mentioned, if Noct had succeeded in reclaiming the throne during their time.

The brute lever himself off the wall and hustle to exit. He had enough tranquil alone and fussed out his anger towards the wall enough force for today. Cope and suppressed the purchase process of Ignis' proposal, maintaining his demon inside mentally. Approaching the evening, conserve and level-headed and reunite with his comrades.

Circled back to the parking lot, excused himself from the crowd, and paced his steps to where Cindy's tow truck was parked across the street. Had he spent too much time venting his frustrations in the alley? It couldn't have been more than five minutes, right? Prompto waved goodbye to Ignis and hopped into the passenger seat next to Cindy.

The Regalia - good as waxed in highest quality. Where Ignis lift his right hand and respond to Prompto as the two depart. Watching the tow truck halfway disappear into the tunnels. Key to Regalia, Ignis awakens the engine, strong fumes ejected into the atmosphere. The importance of the King's car paces his foot to the passenger seat.

Scientia examined the Regalia, its pristine brilliance of charcoal black, burnt tar radiating from the tires, and the strong scent of leather interior. Years ago, he had lost the Regis' car during a getaway to Niflheim. Analyzing the glove compartment, if his memory served him correctly, there should be a phone in case of an emergency. His memory never disappointed him; it was second nature as he snatched it from falling. Scanning the black iPhone screen reflected a man image standing ten feet away from the Regalia. Turning 180 degrees, Scientia's gaze locked onto the sworn Shield.

"Gladio," Ignis whispered, startling him. They stood opposite side, silence overcame the duo. He shoved the phone into his hidden pocket of his fancy coat and straightened his back. The awkward silence lasted only briefly before Ignis spoke up to ease the tension of the unforeseen situation.

"We're going to Cape Caem. If you would like to proceed in Regalia, I will drive us there."

Silence was his response from the Shield, and Gladiolus approached. He clasped the handle of the Regalia's back door and entered backseat, cutting his gaze away from the tactician. The buff man attempted to placate him with promises. Ignis stood calm and lulled, making his way to the driver's seat as Gladio remained mute, a look of stoic resignation and acceptance as he viewed Lestallum.

Skeptical if Prompto would budge to say Gladio allay his concerns about entrusting him again despite the debate regarding Ardyn raising tension between the two. Ignis' reform was never intended to dilute the companions or the entire world at the mercy of the so-called Founder King and God. And so Amicitia concurred, albeit reluctantly, but only to a minimum extent.

"Very well, let us commence." Ignis stated dryly, pushing up his glasses. Quelling his mind, he wouldn't expect an answer. Seating himself in the driver's seat, buckling his belt, stretching out his driving gloves, and taking a gentle grip on the wheel.

The beauty of leather steering wheel. The rear view mirror reflected the past, the lost sense of sight slipping away as he drove his companions, even driving Noct home from school or the Citadel. Shock waves of memory lane rocked his body; the decade-long absence of the car's touch, he could not resist. Astonishment and reminiscence enlightening behind the wheel in ten years of blind and everlasting night. His fingers tapped on the steering wheel, right hand adjusting the shifting gears from Parking to Drive.

He drove to the west of Lestallum, heading to Cape Caem.

x~~~~~x

"Wow, you even expand your business outside sea?"

"Yep, paw-paw idea was to extend and get more regulars to kept our shop afloat."

"That's so smart Cindy, heh-heh... I bet millions of wrench bar that it'll do GREAT."

"Awww that's sweet Prompto."

Cindy and Prompto drove ten minutes from Lestallum to The Three Valleys. After parting ways with Ignis, Prompto received his fair share of restless nights. Concerned about Argentum, considering his own stance. His timeline, he grew more independent and secure. Young Prompto had strong insecurities, but they were overcome by the strength of his friends. Motivated, he willingly accepted Ignis' endeavor. They agreed to regroup after receiving word on any potential threats.

Prompto placed a gil for him to return healthy and alive, while Ignis reserved his words and agreed. Before they parted ways, Ignis warned about the Plague of Starscourge, as the Oracle had been duty-bound to fight it. The nights grew longer, and the daemons became ever fiercer.

Cindy nodded in approval as Prompto rode alongside her to assist her on this mission. A croak and a cheer accompanied by tingling goosebumps crawled all over his skin. This was a huge opportunity, being alone with a goddess, the light of the world. Although he couldn't act upon his feelings, he was extremely nervous and anxious throughout the entire trip. Sweat poured from him like melted ice cream, and sweat glands popped up above his forehead and temples, even though the air conditioner ran at full blast; he couldn't control it. Stuttering, he conversed with Cindy, but managed to remain composed because he had a goal to succeed.

Cindy pressed the brakes gently, bringing her tow truck to a stop on the road. She was headed back to Hammerhead. Prompto tapped the front dashboard.

"Hey, do you have a moment to go Galdin Quay?" Noticing digital time was half of 6PM, time sure flies. He withdrew his hand away from the dashboard.

"Oh, sure thing, sweetie." Cindy use signal to make a right turn and proceed on the road. Without hesitation or questioning the boy, she obliged as a kind person she is. Prompto tense his fair builds feature to share a car with the one and only princess to his eyes. They reach the hillside cliff, which was miles of beauty to the amazing world of crusine and hotel. The grand part, he's alone with her!

Mentally, his mind demands to focus on the keener goal he was assigned to. Cid has a fair share of experience wandering around Eos with King Regis and the previous retainers. Perhaps Cid has stretched his stories to Cindy. A story of Starscourge or the role as King he had to fulfill. Well, then again, he isn't one hundred percent sure if it's all just Garula crap.

"Hey Cindy, did Cid resurface a story if the daemons claim Eos?"

Eyes locked on the road, Cindy obliged. "Paw-Paw always do when I was a little girl; he'd say if the world ever got taken over by these monsters, then I'd be darn sad about it." She frowned in response.

Although Prompto disapproves of bashing the unfortunate event, he prefers to make positive and brave remarks. Prioritizing positive outcomes for Cindy. "I hate to tell you this... but the world is coming to an end, which is why I asked someone amazing and talented like you to give me a hand... well, to prepare for the days ahead and help your business get the best ratings in Eos at night."

Noticing Cindy's expression change from a warm smile to one of light and life enveloped in sadness.

Resulting in slight discomfort for Cindy and himself. Unintentionally bearing the inevitable doomsday throughout the road trip.

Earlier in Lestallum...

The purring of the engine that Prompto eagerly recognized imprinted itself on his brain, and the person he had fallen for arrived. The beauty of Engineer Cindy. The young retainer grinned happily as he elbowed Ignis.

"How did you manage to call Cindy on your own accord and obtain her contact information?" Ignis asked him, his curiosity piqued as to how he had accomplished such a feat. He knew his friend was terrified of asking a girl for her phone number; surely, he wouldn't have dared to take such a risk with his life.

"Well, duh," Prompto began, his voice rising in pitch. "It's called rehearsing thousands of times, with Noct, of course." Prompto strained his smile, without consent, and seized to lock his elbow with Ignis' right arm, pulling him closer to whisper in Advisor ear. This caused Ignis to lose his footing momentarily, causing him to stumble forward slightly.

"Maybe I begged Noct to get her phone number… eventually, as friends, he did."

Figures.

"And you accomplish after all Noct lecture and role-playing without his presence." Ignis goaded, now just playing with his young companion.

The bespectacled man received a glare reflecting his comment about his mocking remarks. "Dude, that's embarrassing!" Ignis smirked, teasing him what Noctis would do. Regardless of say, Noctis and Prompto, they are too damn similar. Secretly, he enjoyed his friends dearly.

"You should be careful out there," Ignis warned, stern stare, releasing his companion's gripping elbow and adjusting his fatigues. "I suggest to reunite in Lestallum if we execute our objective."

"Sure, Ma. 'ppreciate you looking out for me, being a new shiny armor, I have a date with the Queen of Hammerhead," cheered Prompto as he ascended the stairs with Ignis. A slight growl escaped Ignis' throat, responding to Ma and Prompto laughed as he pat once on his back and sped his way ascending the stairs.

"But I must admit, the night grows longer, and the daemons are becoming more aggressive. The Scourge will extirpate six months." Ignis stated, monotone voice.

Seeing his expression, Prompto turn to him and gave him a thumbs up, return his pose by turning forward and they both arrived at the street, Prompto quickly on his own to where Cindy's tow truck was parked a twenty feet ahead.

"Howdy boys," Cindy called, waving with a genuine smile while exiting the vehicle. "Let me lower the Regalia, and it's all yours."

"H-hey Cindy!" Prompto cheerfully greeted Cindy.

As Cindy proceeded to keep her promise, Prompto stood in awe, captivated by the engineer's handiwork on the descending Regalia. Truly amazed and impressed by her work, he whooped in delight and rooted for her. She knelt down and disconnected the chain from the vehicle, then opened the hood of the car, swaying her body back and forth as she inspected it.

"Fascinating," Scientia looked pleased by a sudden visit and observed, arriving last-minute trailing Prompto. The Regalia. Sun glare reflect the top hood and back. Vividness royalty stationed by Cindy's truck on the road.

Hastily, Cindy dusts her hands off of debris of dirt and grind sticking and glances to the boys. "All right, good as new fellas', gas already top notch, refine engine and polish to - oh, hey Prompto."

"Oh-oh... uh- hhey..." Prompto reluctantly stammered, his red cheeks and stutter underneath his breath. It was out of the blue when she summoned him by his name. Eyes fluttering and clawing at one of his bare arms, he beckoned to believe Ignis would eventually be supportive in his broken muttering chitchat.

Jump in anytime.

Sometimes this week.

Right now is a great opportunity.

Ignis! Prompto thought painfully. A crooked grin appeared on his face, as he shot a glare indicating backup.

A palpable feeling emanated from his comrades' message reflected in his expression.

Oh dear, was this the turn of events?

Ignis noticed and invited himself in. "Allow me." Scientia interrupted and began, took a large leap of step and now beside Argentum. "Prompto, have a request if you could hitch him a ride. He has a critical goal to achieve and needs your assistance to acquire certain aspects. And I, unfortunately, have to scatter another route to Cape Caem lighthouse for urgent business. If you may, we are delighted if you could lend us a hand."

"I-I uh, also going to help you in HammerHead Cindy...if you need an extra hand. A lass like you needs another partner, right?" Prompto sheepishly replied, instead scratching uncontrollably at his skin with a soft, gentle wiping motion.

"Of course, silly, I am willing to give you boys a hand. You were wonderful to help paw-paw and my request." She treated him to a coy smile of invitation. Elevating herself back to the driver seat while enthusiastic Prompto in the background triumphantly raises both arms and fist pumps as appreciation from Ignis, which waived all rights.

Momentarily, Ignis returns the favor in short order.

"You must calm yourself and restrain your emotions," Ignis said firmly. "It's essential to travel safely." Despite his own strong doubts, he couldn't forsake his friend.

Prompto nodded, a dedicated team player, he grinned. "Yeah, see you later, and I'll call you when I get there. Oh, and don't ya worry about Gladio." Finishing his sentence, he waved, parting ways as he opened the passenger side door. The advisor reflected on Prompto's response and slammed the door.

A faint lip curled on his lips, he was glad Prompto was ever on his side. In his timeline, he was helping him endure the blindness and kind hardheartedly guide him as his eyes. Grateful of his companion and vow to bring Noct home and intergrate once more.

As Ignis began swatting his clothing, flatten his fatigue concealing pockets, luxurious leather coat first, front pocket of his black leather jeans and the back...he realized the difference. Transfixed on Altissia with Leviatian, he was battling, swimming in the sea, cooperating with Ravus, fighting Ardyn nearly trounce to death...

Right... his belongings were annihilated.

Present.

Prompto and Cindy arrived shortly after traveling a long distance to Galdin Quay. They tilted the truck into a designated parking spot and settled it before shutting off the engine. As Prompto leapt off the passenger seat, he turned to face her.

His first action was to inhale deeply, stretching his arms above his head, curving his back forward as he heard faint cracks, then he exhaled, letting his arms go limp, relaxing the tension in his shoulders and loosening the muscles in his lower back. In about seven seconds, he had finished. He turned to face the sea at Galdin Quay and grabbed the hot exterior of the truck door before shutting it. He walked to the driver's seat while Cindy kept her feet planted on the ground.

"My, it's very lovely on a sunset."

"Uh huh!"

Composure Prompto, you got this. Iggy rely on you, Noct rely on me.

"So I'ma find someone real quick," Prompto said and gestured his hands for her to remain in place as he would be right back. She smiled with a sweet relief that Prompto couldn't forget. Stomping on the soft, warm sand, his boots sank slightly but were still feasible to tread.

Although moon walking nearly cause the young lad stumble but immediately regain his stance. Cool guy. Flip his body and face the curve glamor bridge. Cindy chuckled and release the nose to fill the gas.

The breeze blew between his stiff hair and flowed through his body, cooling him on this humid day. The smell of the sea filled his nostrils as he skidded across the wooden passage. How could Noctis and Ignis tolerate such unbearable heat in their black and full attire? Well, Gladiolus noticed Ignis was rather shy about exposing his skin. The big guy is a rock head.

Upon arrival, he was greeted by employees who welcome guests, and he waved back. Young children and families enjoy their top quality meals. (Definitely prefer Iggy meal.) Light illuminated the area, like a dream for the rich. The waitress on center genuinely smiles because she recognizes him. He waved back. He doesn't seem to have interest chatting and roll his way to the dock.

Reaching the end, on the left, glimpse the guy he was looking for. "Hey Dino!"

Dino heard his name, his gaze staring out at the sea, cut off when his name was shouted by the group he had convinced to gather rare gems. "Oh, hey kid. Got a gem for me today?" Turning his direction, uncrossing his legs and leaning forward on the bench, Prompto caught Dino's attention.

Prompto shook his head. "Long story short, we need your help. It's not related to the gem, but you know your way around crafting a few things, right?"

Dino lift his hand, curl his index finger to rest his chin "Sure kid, but what reason you desire?"

"Well, we need you in Lestallum if you got a moment, my friend needed your help. So, the end is near and we need your skill to help out. You're a journalist and you can make news about the apocalypse. So you're in?" Prompto proffered, grin and quite calm.

The journalist paused for a moment before turning back to the restaurant. "Sorry kid, no can do."

"Wait what?" Prompto said in disbelief.

"I can't leave this place," Dino said, rising from his seat, scanning his surroundings, particularly in the restaurant. "I'm trying to find the perfect gift for a girl I like here. I won't be leaving and abandoning her." Dino returned to the bench, his arms resting on the top.

"Beside, I don't believe in such nonsense story of world ending. Surely it'll be fine." Dino suggested.

Prompto heavily sighed, groaned, and resigned. If his friends were here, they would likely persuade him. For a girl? Well, then. Mutual understanding. Breezy noise collides to the dock and splashes the wood. Noticing the sun almost set to 8 PM, Prompto checks his inventory, back pocket, and pulls out his phone. He was about to dial Gladio to get Ignis on his phone (unsure Ignis possessed his own phone) and tap the screen.

Dino watched the kid punching numbers into his phone. He wondered why he was alone without his buddies and the prince. But it seemed like he had priorities and didn't need convincing. From quite a distance, Dino gave him kudos for what he did. He walked over to where Prompto was standing and opened his mouth.

As soon as the words came out of his mouth, a noise of panic and fear filled the air. Disturbing screams echoed throughout the restaurant, snapping Prompto to a halt. Dino rose to his feet to listen to the commotion. He stuffed his phone back into his pocket and hurried towards the source of the noise. As he approached the stairs, Dino noticed his shadow closely following him, watching as people fled in fear. Mothers lifted their children, and fathers shielded them behind. The waitress ducked down to hide herself. Victims sought refuge within rooms or exited through the entrance.

It is an undeniable phenomenon when Tonberry and goblins storm the dining hall lobby. One Tonberry and three goblins march clumsily. The Tonberry stands beside the counter, holding a sharp knife. Their eerie screeches and snarls fill the air. The staff quickly evacuates the citizens and ushers them into a safe room to escape this nightmares.

"It's seven. How are daemons appearing under the- holy higgy chocobo clucking toots, they're under lights?!" Prompto shriek, flicker his Death Penalty in his fingers and alignment to one of the creatures took notice of his presence. The daemons emerge at 8 o'clock, which results in worrisome for both lads.

"That's weird," Dino said, looking around frantically. His gaze landed on the counter, where he saw goblins trying to climb over. He quickly patted Prompto's shoulder and pointed the direction in distress. If Prompto failed to eliminate the daemons before they could affect anyone with a scourge, he would have to bite down and bear it. And so Prompto immediately slipped into his offensive stance, facing the monsters head-on.

Click and POP.

A head-shot on one goblin evaporates it in a pool of miasma, voided, not even dust remains. Instead of running to the center, he maneuvered to the right side and aimed for one goblin that nearly reached the counter. A bullet flew in sonic speed of light and hit its skinny body. It fell, losing its grip and squirmed as it collapsed to the ground. Melted away into nothingness. The waitress failed to flee, so she hid herself behind the counter, protecting her head in a ball position, which was smart. The third one saw him erase his buddy, so it lunged at him. Prompto side stepped to the right and shot multiple bullets at the creature. Its leg went first, then the head. It was still rising and crawled towards Argentum.

Crawling on his knees to the counter, beneath the radar, Dino feared for the life of the girl he loved. Peeking over the edge, he found her unharmed, instructed him to hide with her from these terrifying creatures. Placing an index finger on his lips to silence him, she shuffled him to her side quietly. From behind, he watched as Tonberry approached Prompto, calling out in alarm.

Warned the kid, Prompto quickly turned his body to an incoming Tonberry readied its sharp blade and nearly plundered inches on his waist. He evaded by curving his back in C pose and steadily holding a revolver to its head and performing Piercer arts as he summoned power of armiger and dual wielding Death Penalty and Executioner like a badass.

It wasn't enough to put Tonberry down easily. The green creature was still moving and going for another cleaver strike. Prompto reloaded, recoiled, and loaded again. As the Goblin was still alive and almost snatched at his shoe. Another round of side stepping and shooting to the head, putting it to sleep.

His eyes fell back to Tonberry, an emotionless figure in a beige ragged cloak approaching. Knife above its head and sprinting. Prompto also sprinted around the counter and shot again; the creature was stubbornly dragging itself at a moderate speed. Behind the counter, Dino grabbed a bottle of glass wine and hurled it at the creature. The glass shattered, spilling red wine on the floor and painted blood red liquid, and Dino quickly hid himself. As the creature stumbled, Argentum exposed his second revolver once more and fired, trigger happy. Gunpowder ignited leech on a single hasty bullet, and the creature screamed in pain as fire lit and burned the souless eyes of the creature.

Yet it barely stand.

Dismissing the Executioner and returning to the single-armed gold Death Penalty, he reloaded it once again. Aiming at the Piercer, finger on the trigger, and the daemonic green paint partially covered in red velvet collapsed and fell on its face. Piercer finally dissipated and eradicated the monster into mist and faded into the air. The blonde sighed, relieved, tossed the revolver aside, and holstered it back to the Armiger. Scanning the area, fortunately, no one had been hurt, based on observation. So he looked over his shoulder to ask survivors concealing behind the counter.

"Hey, D, you believe me now?"

The journalist poked his head, utterly shocked and nodded twice.

Crowds of citizens cheered and cherished Prompto's heroic deeds, protecting him as they ventured to the center of the plaza, where they chanted their thanks to the young man. Hands clapped, children danced in joy, and whistles blew. Prompto stood there, blushing, and waved his right hand to the citizens' encore.

"Oh, uhmm mm, not a problem! Fellow citizens of Eos! It is my job to safeguard the lives of yours! As I, uh, Prompto the Crownsguard, with the King of Insomnia!" Prompto's virtuous voice elevated high to his standards, and he rested both palms of his hands on his hips.

I should have thought of a badass name next time, dude. C'mon.

The citizens whisper about King and Prompto as members of the Crownsguard, who are out in the world to protect the people of Eos. They have earned much respect for doing so. As a result, Prompto's popularity surpasses even his debut. The diner patrons cheer and applaud.

As innocent and crowded people approved his deeds, he continued, ideal to lay out information. "And I, a Messenger, to say that this is an omen of an incoming darkness that will take away our sunlight, but also a foreshadowing of a new hideout in Lestallum. The end is within six months prior. Spread the word as much as you can; tomorrow, that is."

The crowds grew concerned as they exchanged glances one to another; should they heed his warning of daemons emerging from the light? Logic or not, his demeanor of suggestion and respectfully unimpeachable. Moreover, a handful of individuals collaborate and pull out their phones to dial or other connection services.

The staff approached him and bowed. "Thank you, sir! Since you saved us from those daemons, we, as staff members, have agreed to offer you a room and food for free tonight."

Free garnish and room? Prompto simply cannot refuse to say no on that opportunity. Agree in terms of payment for his nature of helping and heroically. Shaking his head up and down in agreement, he obliged and felt a grasp on his right shoulder.

"See, kid? You don't need my journalistic talents, after all. All you need is evidence and words to convince the person. But I'm intrigued. Do your boys have a ride for me, then?"

Speaking of rides, a sudden switch in his brain registered a dire situation, and he gasped. "Cindy!" He immediately bolted, leaving citizens gazing after him as if he were running a marathon. The crunching noise of shattered wine glasses and the stomping of wooden plate flooring filled the air as he reached the exit as Dino followed heels in seconds.

Dashing for his life, passing pure white cat loaf bread startled as loud steps on the floor board on the curve bridge away from the restaurant, Prompto had never been so terrified to leave a girl in sight due to strange circumstances of Daemons spawned at light in evening. Implausible occur and pray that none has harass the lass of his life.

So-called white and shiny armor.

Certainly untitled to earn in output results.

Treading the parking lot, his eyes shot at Cindy, who was actually...holding a wrench and smashing a few goblins and eradicating the last one. He halted, examined Cindy combat while standing her ground against daemons. A girl like her can which Prompto gaped and speechless. Then again, he has always been around Cindy, unable to contain his cowardly and assist help.

Cindy was perfectly unblemished from any sort of harsh attack. Twirling her leaded silver wrench, she slid into her back pocket belt and wiped her drenched sweat on her forehead. Petite sighed, she caught a sight of Prompto, whom petrified for no apparent reason.

Timid Prompto exposes his grimaced stare. Just when Dino arrived shortly after and saw the engineer from HammerHead. So Cindy grinned simply waves with right hand vigorously. "Hey, Prompto, I got your back."

"Uh-Uh,yes! Well, Cindy, it's not safe here! Here, we have rooms and food here! You will be maiden of honor on a—"

Date?! Think Prompto think! What is a better excuse to ask a girl to dinner and free luxury room?!

"A–a wonderful woman from HammerHead!" Prompto said, arbitrary his decision to route his embarrassment. Gestured towards the illuminating docks to the restaurant where he was.

Dino stared at Prompto awkward smile. "You like her?"

Instantly, Prompto turned his head towards Dino's direction and shot him a death glare. "DUDE! What the shi-zel? You're even worse than Tonberry, who failed in culinary class!" He scowled, the gruesome expression on his face was so red, and wrinkles appeared on Prompto's face.

Dino raised his arms in defense as he slowly retraced his steps on the already-printed sands of his tracks. It seemed he had lost this battle. He realized he had linked equal rights to the present and presentation to the girl he liked. Which he felt bad about.

"Uh, I mean, you want to give the girl a resort?"

Cindy was just clueless to the tension between those boys. She hummed and approached, a soft smile on her face. "A room? My, that's quite fancy of you. I would love to stay there. It's too dangerous to be out on the road right now."

The two men glanced at each other, then to her, back to confusion, direct eye contact again. In their understanding, she hadn't heard Dino exclaim to her, which was good. So the two straightened their backs, dusted their clothing, and chuckled quietly to each other. At least Prompto had an opportunity to—

His phone started vibrating under his shirt. He unconsciously grabbed his iPhone, examined the caller, and swiped. He held it to his ear and spoke. "Yo Gladio. Hey, what's u-Uh huh, I'm fine, yeah I encountered a few here, Iggy was right. Yeah. Hey, I got Dino and Cindy with me, and bro, I'm gonna have a fancy feast. Ha! Not with you guys! I got a- Oh. Heh-heh! Happened to you as well? Iggy got the emergency phone, look out for him. Yeah, see you."

"Was that the boys?" Cindy asked as she lowered herself to the ground and examined the bottom of her tow truck, worried about a possible goblin sneak attack.

Prompto nodded, a tad concern. For Dino and Cindy safety, now his friends out in the wilderness setting camp near Haven, probably. Worrisome about Ignis, espeically, the man literally woke up like a undead Lich with lack of sleep for eternity. He frowned, his voice decrease to low tone. "Yeah, the daemons resurface in front of them while driving."

"Alright, kid. You convinced me to join. I know a few places where we can find some Elemancy Veins around Haven that will make it easy for us to use them in our spells." Dino eyed the beautiful restaurant and nudged Prompto. "I want to protect this place too, y'know?"

The young lad exchange eye contact from Dino, Cindy, then turned back to the restaurant. "I know Iggy can save this place too. So, count on him, 'kay?" he whispered, nudged Dino, and grinned.

"Hey, Cindy, we can't stay here any longer; our food is getting cold!" Prompto directed and led her comfortably in his direction. Cindy followed suit after inspecting their surroundings. The three walked back to the restaurant, knowing the sun had set below the horizon and they were now on Day 1 of the countdown to the next six months.

x~~~~~x

Ignis and Gladio remained quiet for over ten minutes after departing from Lestallum. The sparkling Regalia drove smoothly, focusing on the road ahead while Ignis kept his eyes on Gladiolus, who continued to give him the silent treatment, which he didn't blame him for.

As the sun set over the horizon, a quick glance at the digital clock on the dashboard revealed it was seven o'clock. They were in search of the nearest Crow's Nest Trailer Park, which was several miles away from their current location. Although there was a Haven Campground, staying there would be a safer option since it is close towards Cape Caem.

The scorching hot air from Lestallum dropped to a humid, cool breeze. Ignis felt a strong wind brush against his entire face and hair, remaining unfazed. Though, he admired the sunset view.

His undamaged eyes. He missed the sensation of bright light reflecting into his pupils and being shielded from the glare. He nearly cried; his undamaged sense of eyesight. From another timeline, he forgot how magnificent Eos have been with sunlight. He also had forgotten how lovely the green, vast fields and the roaming wild creatures nurture their youngs and trampled in dirt and sand gravel. Gladio decided to read his favorite novel hidden in Regalia. He rested his right arm on the door and left his hand on the book. A quick glance at the road, nature, sunset, and Ignis in a short span of time without realizing.

The Royal Crownsguard managed to evade the Fortress of Magitek, the Coernix Bypass, and Fort Vaullerey. Fortunately, the base was infiltrated and the territory of Lucis claimed. Thanks to Noctis's ability, Ignis deciphers a devastating plan to conquer it all. A smooth ride rather than an assault craft to halt their road trip. Quite a distance, Ignis reminisces the arrival at Maidenwater. The smell of the muggy scent of sea and land.

The sun set on the horizon. Ignis knew the nearby Haven would be a sanctuary. But Ignis felt an ominous atmosphere and tension, as he got goosebumps beneath his fatigue jacket. So he accelerate the gas pedal, causing Gladio to quickly close the book. He was going to question him about his sudden expression.

Just as Gladiolus was about to speak, suddenly stomped on the brakes, causing the car to make a small curve. This forced Ignis and Gladio to slide out of their seats, hitting the front passenger and steering wheel. Fortunately, Ignis had worn a safety belt, while Gladio, being larger, did slam into the back of the passenger seat.

"Gladio!" Ignis shouted urgently, unbuckling his seat belt and staring at the menacing whirlpool of miasma emerging from the road. "We have company." Opening the driver door.

Precipitate the unexplained event when Red Giant and Fire Bombs materialize on the evening road. Aware they come out of the shadow. The brute grabbed the handle and exit himself and spawn his Iron Duke in his hands to his grasp over his shoulder. He immediately approached Ignis' driver section of Regalia and grabbed his left shoulder.

Summon his Zwill Crossblade, Ignis observed the phenomenal circumstances. "This is rather unusual for them to appear before night."

"No time to prompt," Gladio directed and sprinting towards the monsters with a huddling scream.

Two bombs levitated towards the retainers, and the Red Giant marched towards the boys. Ignis nodded once and pulled out his Elemancy made by Noctis, Blizzaga, from his Armiger and fused it with his dual-wielding daggers. Thanks to Noctis' ability to harness and extract the elements, only the bloodline of Caelum can absorb them. As Ignis thought, with Dino's assistance, he could harvest the veins and reconfigure them into a ball for him and the glaives. Gripping his infused ice daggers, perhaps he could fuse the tank as well.

"Gladio, lend me your hand." Ignis instructed.

Amicitia halted and obeyed and retraced his steps. The Bombs and Red Giant drew near as Ignis crushed his hand in Ice Blizzaga and clashed it against the bigger man's free palm. Which Enchantment Arts. The power transferred through him and into his weapon as he used both hands to grip the claymore. Emanating icy frost installed on the broadsword.

"What's your plan?" Gladiolus asked, assuming in defensive stance. Despite the odds and the terrifying creature before them, they decided to assault.

"I'll go eliminate the Bombs; you'll go ahead and I'll be right behind you."

As Ignis finished analyzing the threats, Gladiolus hastened towards the Red Giant, an incoming attack, a huge hatchet made of molten lava rose above and slammed down. Gladio managed to evade by side stepping and performing Maelstrom Arts. Whirling his heavy silver-gold infused Ice claymore into a tornado and body slamming the Giant's knee. Frostbite was created on its knee. It stumbled back, with no hesitation, the tattooed man took an opportunity to perform Tempest. One swung back, another swing forward, and the final performance was above his head, and he swung into a red metal creature. Its knees buckled, and it became vulnerable as Gladio unleashed his full-on attack.

Ignis rises his Zwill Crossblade above his chest and sprints forward. He swirls his daggers, releasing the freezing sheer of Blizzaga infused on the bombs. Which is fairly effective. The ball of fire heads towards him and headbutt, but Ignis somersaults backward and raises his daggers. The second bomb behind it explodes, boosting the first one's power as it expands. A larger fireball forms. Ignis spots their gathering and performs High Jump art.

Soaring through the air, he readied his lance to plunge into the gathering. With a mighty swing, he slammed his lance to the ground, causing an earthquake. Positioned himself, he raised his infused daggers and hurled them, penetrating the Bomb at its core. He managed to ignite and explode one of the Bombs successfully. The last one snarled and grew to the size of a Garula!

So Ignis has to improvise before it decides to cause burn marks to him and Amicitia, even perhaps death. Summon his Armiger and pull out Thundaga and enforce his dual blades. Receiving agile momentum of Thundaga. So with the power of thunder, he can flicker quickly and almost like warp like he experienced using Lucii of the Ring. But not really. It's more of a leap and quick dash. Assaulting the monster every sphere. Bomb doesn't seem to enjoy these advantages, so it started to enlarge. Just when it made a final attack, Ignis managed to expose its opening by his flurry of Thundaga infused daggers and hurled his Precision Lance to its core. Piercing its inside.

Gladiolus dodged the incoming fist nearly punch where he stood. The enhancement of Blizzaga infused wear off. He poses himself and summons his Aegis shield to deflect another fist. Just before the hatchet plunges towards him, he deflects the attack, but it's forcing him to one of his knees.

"I had enough with these damn Giants already!" the tank yelled, furious.

The hatchet was too hot, and his Aegis shield started to increase the temperature, burning his left arm attached by the Shield. Just when he opposes to fight it off, the Red Giant startled and stumbled backward. Gladiolus repelled the hatchet and stumbled a bit as he lose his footing. But Ignis was behind, threw his lance to its face. Regroup Gladiolus reassured him with a remedy on his hand to cure the burns. Crushing it and faint glow green wonder acting as a healing bonding agent. Gladio rose, stretching his arms and feet flatten, his legs straight to the ground as he felt tense of his muscle, and Ignis raised his daggers on his left. Ignis and Gladiolus were breathing heavily.

"Shall we finish it off?"

"Say less, you got my back?"

"Always."

Taking a deep breath and yelled. "Take aim!" Ignis guided his friend, performing Mark arts, positioned himself and hurled four daggers. Two on legs, one on the chest and another on its head. Gladio performs Dawnhammer, excruciating smash to its legs, affecting the radius around its way. The bulky man swung his broadsword to its chest, causing it stunned once more and finally to its knees. Gladiolus ran towards the advisor, positioned himself, web finger of his locked together and boosted the tactician. Ignis synergy incoming attack as he hop into his trampoline hands and catapult the elegant. Twisting and twirling his entire body 360 degrees in the air, accelerating his speed with his lance. Auto aims the head, and he launches his weapon with insane amount of speed. It glides at a speed of sonic and—

It shot its forehead. Resulting the Red Giant defeated.

The tactician gasped, utterly in shock. Not only did he perform an aerial attack, but he also grasped the lance. Soaring through the air, he was launched by his comrade. From ten feet above, he flew towards the head of the Red Giant, which slowly began to dissolve. Surely, he threw his weapon. Right? But did he just teleport?

No, perhaps it was the effect of Thundaga.

As Ignis landed on the ground on his feet safely, the Red Giant's physical body dissolved into nothingness. Realizing his comrade had seen him disappear, he released his lance. First thought he vanished without a trace until Amicitia detected the landing of the shoe stomp behind him. The big man took a deep breath and exhaled, now glancing to his friend as Ignis pushing his glasses back up over his nose.

Gladiolus blinked a few times, expecting Ignis to be standing right beside him, only inches where the miasma to evaporate. "How did you get there?" he asked, completely nonplussed by what just happened.

Ignis pulled down his right driving glove to tighten it, examining the palm of his hand that he had thrown his lance. Dismissing his lance and stood quietly.

"Perhaps the Thundaga effect?" Ignis raised his eyebrows in confusion at the unexpected result.

He, too, was lost for words.

Was that a warp strike I managed to manifest? No, I believe not. Noct Royal liege and the Glaives gifted by our grace.

Dropping his claymore into Armiger, he dusted his dry moist hands. The sensation of the icy blizzaga enhancement still lingered and sweat combined. "Not bad for just two of us."

"Indeed," Ignis agreed, vanishing his daggers with a snap. He immediately scanned his surroundings and noticed the sun disappeared.

"We must hurry back to Regalia and reserve to Haven."

Gladio nodded, a hand reached to his back slot pocket, and pulled out his black phone. "You go get the Regalia runnin', I need to call Prompto about this."

In seconds, Ignis waste no hesitation and hustle to twenty feet clumsily parked vehicle. Disappeared, Amicitia taps the screen, scrolling the name Prompto on his registry. He held to his ear as it vibrated. A couple of seconds later, he hears his voice.

"Prompto, are you alright? Were you attacked by daemons? Damn, they're worldwide. Iggy was right about what? This prediction? Well, hardy harr good for ya, now focus. Happen to us as well, so you better be careful out there, K? Add Iggy to your contact information, and he got the emergency phone. Gotta hit off the road, bye."

During his conversation with a young Retainer, headlights became alive and rolling in where the Shield sturdiness was on the ground. Pocket his phone, eyeing Ignis as he jogged his way to the back seat and immediately drove off. They need shelter now.

x~~~~~x

Five minutes after departing, they reached Telghey Haven. Settled, Gladiolus grabbed most of the camping gear and seats as Ignis laid out the counter and stove. Punching the nails to stabilize the tent and camping chair for two has been set. Now proceed to use survivalist skill of his and create fire. Collecting petite rocks around the dry woods and the trick of ashes and rubbing wood together to quicken and ignite instantly. While Ignis stirs up a pot of robust bean soup made from dried beans and canned meat stored in the Regalia. He adds additional spices, slow-cooked vegetables, and thick cream for flavor. With minimum help and supplies, he grabbed a handful of preserved canned food. He was greatly disappointed when the food they collected had gone fowl during the trip in Altissia and back to Lestallum without proper handling on foods. Yes, Noctis fish were smelly, so they disposed that as well.

After the first attempt at making fire, he slumped into the camping chair and tilted his head back. Sighing, heedless that the constant vigilance was exhausting; the sense of being surrounded by danger lurked in every corner.

So Ignis lightly taps Gladio's rested arm on the armchair and lift his head to notice a bowl of food in his hand hovering. To his obliged, he thanked the man accepted it, and scoop full of beans, shove to his hunger reached satisfaction. Ignis seated himself with a cup of water and a bowl of aroma protein meal.

Silence fills the air as the two ate. Now that they're halfway through, the two only stared at the crackling wood of fire. It was nine o'clock that establishing camp is time-consuming to prepare and call for the evening. Ignis rapidly taps the side of the water metal mug stressed, thoughts of multiple displays of how to initiate with his friend. Due to foes harass them during their travel, they have to communicate or else die trying. He was uncertain if the Amicitia held his tongue towards him, so with a steady and low tone, Ignis throat was dry despite he drank water to—

"A moment, Gladio."

Gladiolus met his eyes to Ignis' "Forbid me or forgiveness of my intentions to propose such ordeals to—"

"Iggy," Gladiolus cut off his speech. Positioned himself, straightening his back, leaning toward the fire to meet Scientia eyes from Coleman armchair. "Let bygones be bygones."

Frozen in surprise, Ignis's eyes went from the shield to the cackling flames of the campfire below. Relief washed over him, easing his tension and skepticism. His heart blood pressure went relieved and restful. "I'm glad," he said feebly.

"How was Prompto?" Ignis questioned, sipping his water, set aside his mug, and grabbed a spoonful of warm baked beans.

"The kid is having a better time than we are, for damn sure," Gladiolus retorted as he filled his mouth with a spoonful of the warm meal. As he swallowed, he eyed Ignis. "So what did you tell Prompto about these predictions? Is this the eternal night we're facing?"

Oh, yea. He forgot to mention. "No, it is prior six months for now. Based on my timeline, it has fallen to the same yield, which I would calculate the exact date it will likely happen."

The tough man sinks into his chair, glaring the advisor green eyes. The tattoo guy contained his temper and cool, he asked. "I'd like to you to demonstrate what your intention is. I'm with you. I'm just a little pissed to hear that bastard name is all."

"Yes," Ignis began, calm and collected, steady tone level to the man despite the mutual of this consideration. "I have a premonition where the King use the ring to banish the darkness, but at a cost of his life. We shall insist Ardyn use the ring rather than Noct to defeat the common enemy. I hope he took a bait that we will initially kill two birds with one stone."

"Hmph." Gladio muttered under his breath, staring intently at Ignis.

"Hence why I suggest operating with Vyv and Sania. They are ecologists who are fully aware of how miasma growth and behaviors. We must prepare ourselves and warn civilians for their safety." Ignis offered, spoonful of thick bean soup into his mouth and chew after his sentence.

"Is there another detour to this idea?" Gladiolus spoke up, questioning his tactician task while setting his empty bowl gently to the ground beside his Coleman chair.

Scientia chews slowly, swallows his bite, and clears his throat. "On the contrary, if we manage to include Ardyn in our plan, he will become a vessel for the ring. Otherwise, I have implemented plan B."

Gladio doubted his friend as he analyzed his proposal. Gulp his entire water in one sitting and hydrate his mouth, which quenched his thirst when it was dry intimidating.

"I prefer plan B." He opposed, rest his cup beside an empty bowl of his.

"Then we shall gather all the weapons, and Tombs Noct haven't claimed yet. Perhaps the King's and Queens of Old should give an answer and aid us to unify." Ignis stated, beginning drinking his water and resting his mug on his lap.

"And what happen if they disagree and follow their 'destined' pathetic link to abiding the Astral?" The Shield growled, he despise the event taken place with Ardyn and Astral— Bladekeeper.

No information was provided, and Ignis was speechless. If Gladiolus is correct, then all his plans have failed, and Noctis will die. He bit his lip, clenched his fists, and shut his eyes behind the transparent spectacles.

"There must be a way. I ought to have a precise understanding knowing one of these will succeed in our favor, not the Astral, not that falsely Founder King."

Undoubtedly, Gladiolus understands and nods. Ignis is a genius, and from the future, so far, the tactician has already planned this out; heck, even conceived of plans C or D. Who knows? But one inquiry he had in mind.

"What the hell you did back there, Iggy? You just...warp?" Gladiolus spoke, puzzled. His face explained it all; dubiously elevated one eyebrow and eyed his comrade.

Ignis stares at his laps, dumbfounded, perplexed, rest his mug on the rocky terrain, and observe his left sleeved arm. "I am not certain. Have you caught a glimpse of a blue flash?"

"No, I don't; I have my back turned before catapulting you in the air. Turn around to see if you're hanging on the lance." Gladio added.

"I assume it would relate to the infusion of Thundaga, though I've never encountered such bizarre properties as a Crownsguard." Ignis guessed. Examining his arm back to Amicitia a couple of times.

"You wore the ring." Amicitia snorted, lift his index finger and gestured to Ignis' arm hovering his own armchair.

"Ah, yes..." Ignis concurred, his hand curling into a fist. "A power integrated between man and monarch. However, warp functionality is with command and not in my possession. In fact, it was limited." He rolled down his leather sleeve from his wrist to halfway up his forearm. Noting his arm had recovered substantially since the battle with Lucii.

"I know, Kingsglaive can teleport, use powerful spells, heal, protect, and even forge weapons out of thin air. Not only that, they are sworn to the Capital as Royal Guards. I mean, I'm one of the leaders of the Special Forces Unit, in charge of the Royal Guards. So on forth with Cor. I know the leader of Kingsglaive is Libertus Ostium. It would be badass to have an ability like that too, damn." The Shield added, vexed expression of ticked and jealousy. Craft weapon in thin air? It sounds like his specialty.

"Agreed, as a Crownsguard, our task was protection of royal family and the citizens of Lucis. Kingsglaive granted full potential to fight and die for the King. We were only granted partial of the gift." Ignis said, straightening his sleeve to appropriate length, resting his arms, and clasps both his hands to the lap. He continued after finishing his sentence, exchanging glances with his friend. "I can not explain the concept I have performed."

"Noct can't do that. The kid can't give us more power like his father did for us; possessing crystal powers." The leader of Crownsguard exclaimed.

"And I cannot explain this teleportation. The Ring granted limited source of strength and I believe it's a Thundaga effect, and that's the end of it." Ignis calmly said, denying the fact. Yet, something was amiss.

The tank yawned, an indication of sleep wave to his body sign. He propels himself from the seat and stretches his back first, then his head. "I'm calling it tonight. You should sleep, Iggy. You look unrecognizable with all that dark makeup under your eyes." He pointed out as he strolled to the tent.

Ignis, according to his examination that he is exhausted behind his physique. The appearance will not mask itself of weariness. "Full well."

As Gladiolus surrendered to sleep, Ignis rose from his chair and collected the dirty dish on the ground. Ignis remained awake and decided to complete the chores. Wrapping up the goods in appropriate locations and gathering the dishes to wash the filth of leftovers clinging onto the plates. He found a cauldron of fresh water and a dish soap, unequipped his driver gloves, a sponge on his hand, and scrub them.

He dried the bowl and wrapped into a wooden netted basket and shut tight. Using a towel to absorb the moisture on his hand and glimpse at the night sky after. The glow of stars was beautiful. The vibrant of blue and purple mixture brings out the delight haze night sky. The full moon illuminated the blanket of darkness. He could enjoy star gazing, connect the stars, and forget to sleep. He was staring at it for too long...

Until his eyes transfixed to something... familiar.

The night sky grew darker. The moon, untouched by time, transitioned from a blue and purple galaxy to a pitch-black canvas. Blue flames, like undying embers, burst and cackled in revelation.

Blue fire seem to collide Ignis thoughts.

The full moon, as if it were staring deep into his soul, consumed him. His senses slipped into his consciousness, and he remembered challenging the immortal and sacrificing his life for Noct. Voices whispered, their abnormal volume filling his mind.

Then a voice very familiar he have encountered before have spoken...

With The Glaives, Crystal of Light power, The Ring of Lucis, and the True King vessel to purge the star of its scourge.

With full power untouched, the King shall deliverance the darkness in the realm of Beyond. The power to surpass God itself shall unleash to Kings and Queens as a final blow.

The Adagium and the God conceal itself is no more, and dawn shall return once more.

Ignis persisted in snapping out of his reverie. But stubborn as it may be, a presentation of fate and an invisible bind kept him from making judgments or taking any sufficient actions. He was forced to watch. It was a brief, unexpected encounter. With each repetition, something new was added. Yet he couldn't decipher what it meant. His plan should have been revealed or approved by the messenger.

He saw images. The spirits of the dead sided with Noctis in the Beyond. He saw his own timeline, where Noctis and his companions had fought through many obstacles to reclaim his throne. Ifrit, the barrier on the Citadel, and being apprehended by the Immortal, were all part of the plan. The desired outcome was for Noctis to face Ardyn as the King of Kings. The final scene was Noctis slaying Ardyn in the physical world of Eos with the Royal Armlet.

The undying cobalt flames expand, unyielding and sudden burning under his skin. Causing Ignis to scream in pain both physically and mentally. His body refuses to correspond to his will. Recalling the price, embers of magic flow through his entire body.

"..nis...ou...me..."

The last thing he witnessed was his King ascending the stairs and telling his friends his wish. To walk tall. In conclusion, to save Eos was to eradicate Ardyn in the Beyond with his own life. Plunging himself into his father's sword as a finale. He couldn't process the events before him, even though he had lost his sight.

The Dawn rises.

The moon disperse, alongside blue intense flares.

A figure stood where the moon had fled. Faintly outlined in blue crystalline power, it was transparent. In one hand, it held the Trident of the Oracle. The figure of a knight.

Someone turns on the lights.

Ignis lifted his heavy leaden eyelids and as his vision adjusted, he noticed the crystalline figure had been replaced by the big man gripping him from the shoulder, shaking him relentlessly. The man's face was full of concern and worry. His hearing came back to life.

"Ignis!" The familiar man yelled.

Ignis gasped, his eyes widening in shock. "Gladio?"

"Can't even take my eyes off of you at camp. What the hell, man? You just fell and started convulsing, screaming for no damn reason."

Ignis's eyes flutter, his vision alignment, bewildered, as he turns his head left and right extends his arms out, causing one of Cole's camping chairs to tip over and collapse. A logical reason for the concussion and throbbing pain at the back of his head. Gladiolus laying his palm onto the surface of the glowing haven to propel himself. From wrestling Ignis and offering a hand, the advisor accepts it and tug him to his feet.

"My apologies. I was simply exhausted and lost my bearings in such a short time." Ignis lies.

The Shield read his friend's emotions like a book and slightly frowned. He lied, of course, but a valid concern not to interfere. He could make a case and get straight to the point, but Ignis was always mysterious with surprises in his sleeve.

"You never took your eyes off of me during the road, did you?" Ignis inquired, dusting the dirt from his clothes and his jacket. His curiosity was evident as he raised a brow.

So he was worried about Ignis all these passing hours. He was caught!

Looking back at the tent and walking away, he muttered, "You better sleep." That was all he said.

These darn cursed premonition once again. Pryna either course him with unsettling of purchases flooding his head. Yes he is from the future, it was hinting the advisor that he couldn't process. Giving an opportunity to view Noct's final battle with Astral, summoning Astrals, fending off the Fierce, the Rogue, and the Mystic.

Then the sad clown of Lucis.

It aches Ignis heart into the oblivion. He felt his stomach twist, one of his hand clenched tightly as he stared out of the night sky aimlessly. The foreshadowing again in rewind. Implausible to understand, his frustration and pain printed his own health. Certainly it wouldn't repeat itself...Right?

"What exactly am I missing..." Ignis whisper to himself.

A/N- I may be off for a while because I have real life stuff to attend. But I hope to write down the chapter very soon and finish this project. Thanks.

Also I love writing the boys so much. I was planning to make 5 chapter small but more ideas mean more chapters. So now I just update whenever. It'll focus like, Noctis mostly at the beginning and now the three boys. Maybe one day I may add Noctis at the end. Beginning and end.
