Hello everyone!

I hope you are all doing good these days.

Since I've had three weeks vacation, I've had some time to think and write and I am now back with a new chapter of Wolf. I really hope you will enjoy reading it.

Now, without anymore fuzz, here's chapter 3.

Chapter 3.

As years passed by, the events that unfolded in the forest outside Arendelle slowly became a distant memory in the back of Elsa's mind. But she never forgot it, no matter how many years passed.

Eight Years later:

Elsa, now the young queen of Arendelle, slowly opened her eyes. As she sat up and looked around her room, her mind was spinning a bit. She had that dream again. That dream that reminded her of that night in the forest when she was a little girl. She got out of bed and went over to her window. Even though she remembered it happened, similar incidents had never been reported to her kingdom in the years after it happened, as far as she was concerned.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door.

"Your Masjety, are you awake?" It was Kai, her loyal servant.

"Yes, Kai, I am awake. Come on in." She said and Kai came in carrying a tray in his hands.

"Good morning your Majesty. Have you slept well?" He asked.

"Yes Kai, I have." Elsa smiled as he placed the tray on her nightstand.

"Your tea, your Majesty."

Elsa took the cup and smelled the tea. It was a lovely forest fruit tea. One of her favourites.

She took a sip of her tea.

"The tea is delicious as always. Thank you Kai. Have you woken Anna up yet?"

"Do not worry. I am on my way to do so right now, your Majesty. Breakfast will be ready in 20 minutes." Kai said as he bowed and left the room.

Elsa finished her tea and got out of bed to make herself ready for the day. A strange as it sounds, Elsa really liked breakfast. It was one of the few moments of her day where she got to spend some time with her younger sister, princess Anna, and Anna, when she wasn't half a sleep, always had some funny and crazy dreams to tell Elsa all about over breakfast.

A little while later, they were both sitting in the dining hall, Elsa having fresh oatmeal and some lovely, fresh and newly picked berries and Anna having her usual chocolate pancakes for breakfast.

"Anna?" Elsa said as she looked at her sister.

Anna, who seemed very tired when she came to breakfast this morning, was actually snoring a bit at the other end of the table, her head resting in the palm of her hand.

Elsa sighed, a bit amused, as she let a very small blast of snow shoot across the table, hitting Anna in her forehead.

"Gah! I'm awake!" Anna yelled out, startled by the sudden feeling of cold snow.

That made Elsa chuckle. Anna blushed a bit.

"Sorry, I must have dozed off….What did you say?"

"I just asked you about your plans for today?" Elsa said.

Anna thought about it for a few seconds.

"Well, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven are out ice harvesting right now, Kristoff takes his job as Arendelle's official ice master and deliverer very seriously btw, and they won't be back for a while, so I'll probably just hang around the kingdom. Maybe take a trip to Oaken or visit Marshmallow and the snowgies at the ice palace. What are your plans?"

"I have meetings till noon, and after that Captain Mattias has asked me to meet him. He wants me to come and see the new guard recruits. I should be free around one o'clock today if you want to meet up for lunch?"

Anna sighed at the mention of meetings, but nodded.

"Yeah, I'd like to meet up for lunch." She said as she finished her pancakes.

They both got up and hugged each other.

"I'll see at one then. Take care." Anna said and Elsa smiled as she nodded.

"You too. Be careful."

"I will, don't worry. Love you!" Anna said as she left the dining hall.

Elsa also left the dining hall to go to her study to get ready for the first meeting of the morning.

Later, around noon, when all her meetings for the morning were done, Elsa made her way over to the Castle ground's military barracks. Behind the barracks lay the soldiers training grounds and there was waiting for her. As he spotted her, he immediately saluted her.

"Your Majesty. Thank you so much for coming. I know I'm taking up time of your day."

Elsa smiled.

"It is no problem, Captain. How are the new recruits coming along?" She asked.

"Very well, I must say. Everyone is doing well in their training and I can assure you that the castle guard should soon be as it was before the gates where closed."

Elsa nodded in approval.

"That is very good to hear."

Mattias then stopped to think for a second.

"Actually...there's one new recruit I want you to see."

He took her to the area of the training ground where a few of the new recruits were training with wooden swords.

"Over there, Your Majesty. Watch those two recruits over there." He said as he pointed to two recruits training in the corner of the area. The two recruits were of equal build and both were very focused.

"Watch the one on the right." Mattias said.

They watched as the two recruits fought, and the one on the right moved swiftly and proved to be a very efficient swordsman. Without taking a single strike, he struck down his opponent. They looked at each other before he reached out a hand to help the guy he beat, get to his feet.

Elsa looked on as he helped him get up, impressed by his skills with a sword but also the kindness he showed his opponent afterwards.

"(L/N)!" Mattias called out, and he looked up at him before he quickly made his way over to them.

As he reached them, he saluted Mattias and looked at Elsa before he bowed.

"Remove your helmet and introduce yourself to our Queen, recruit." Mattias said.

He removed his helmet and now, Queen Elsa could see his face clearly.

You had jet black hair, strong cheek bones and a calm expression on your face.

You also had navy blue eyes and Elsa could not help but notice a small scar across your left eye.

You smiled calmly.

"Recruit (F/N) (L/N), at your service, Your Majesty." You said and saluted her.

Elsa smiled.

"Thank you, (F/N). I must say I am impressed by what I've seen so far."

You rubbed your head as you smiled a bit

"Thank you for your kind words, your majesty" You said, feeling a bit flustered for being praised.

Elsa looked at you.

For some reason you seemed familiar to her, but she didn't know why. She just suddenly got a feeling that she'd seen you before.

"(F/N), this isn't possible, and excuse me for asking but...have we met before?" she asked you.

You shook your head.

"I am afraid not your majesty." You said.

Elsa slowly nodded.

"You are dismissed, (F/N)." She said calmly, with a small smile.

You saluted them both again and returned to your partner to continue your training.

As the two of them were leaving the training grounds Elsa looked at Mattias.

"Captain, can I ask you, why did you want me to meet (F/N), specifically?"

"I wanted you to meet him because, because of his talent and abilities, he is a prime candidate to become your personal guard."

That made Elsa stop dead in her tracks. Mattias looked at her.

"Your Majesty, I know you have your abilities, but I think that just a little more protection is a good idea. At least it won't hurt." He explained.

"Beside. I was your father's personal guard before I became captain. I believe you should have one as well."

Elsa thought for a few seconds before she spoke up.

"I will take it into consideration." She said.

Mattias nodded.

"Please. That's all I ask."

Suddenly a young woman, slightly older than Elsa, came up to them.

"I'm so sorry for interrupting Captain. My brother forgot his lunch again." She said and Elsa could see she was carrying a small package.

Elsa also got a good look at her.

She had a slender build, red hair that reached just past her shoulders and olive green eyes.

She looked at Elsa and smiled.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Your Majesty."

That made Elsa snap out of her thoughts as she quickly cleared her throat.

"It is a pleasure to meet you to. May I ask you your name?" She said.

The young woman smiled.

"My name is Elizabeth. My friends call me Liz."

Elsa stared at her.

"Liz…..I'm sorry, I just have to make sure, so may I ask….Have we ever met before?" Elsa asked.

Liz shook her head.

"Hmm...I'm sorry, but no. But maybe you've seen me in town." She said.

She then turned to Mattias.

"Captain, is my brother here?"

Mattias nodded.

"(L/N) is in the training ground." He said.

Mattias saying your name, made Elsa react. This was your sister?

"Thank you. Excuse me Your Majesty. Captain." She said before she left for the training grounds.

After she was gone Mattias looked at Elsa

"Your Majesty? Are you ok?" He asked.

Elsa nodded.

"Yes, I just…." She stopped herself.

"Nevermind."

Mattias nodded, accepting her answer.

"Now, I will take what you suggested into consideration. Please excuse me, Captain." She said.

As she was about to take her leave, Mattias cleared his throat.

"With all due respect Your Majesty, I believe that I, because I am a long term friend of your family, I requested you call me something else when it's just the two of us." He smiled a bit.

Elsa smiled back.

"Alright. Please excuse me, uncle Mattias." She said.

As she left, she turned around and took one last glance at you as you were now talking to Liz, and she thought about what Mattias had suggested.

"A personal guard, huh….?"

Her mind was racing and she just could not shake the feeling that she had seen you and Liz before. She just couldn't pin point exactly where or when. So, to ease her mind she decided to think of something else.

"No...its just a coincidence." She mumbled to herself as she continued towards the Castle.

Uknown to Elsa, Lix had caught up with her and was observing her as she hurried back to her office.

She sighed, but a small smile could be seen in the corner of her mouth.

"I'm sorry….It is for the best."

She then turned to look back at the training ground and you had now left for the barracks with the other recruits.

"Please know what you are doing…." She mumbled to herself before she left Arendelle, heading for the forest.

And there we have it. Ch 3.

Want to know what you and Liz are up to? You'll just have to wait and see.

Until then, take care and I'll see you next chapter!
