Chapter 14: The cell's
The shadows are still flying around the dark world, the moon still hiding the sun from shining again. Lara sighted as she looked up to the sky from the cell she is in, through a window she could see what is going on in this doomed world. They were so close but now she and Klara has been captured and she doesn't know if they got Kurtis or if he got the answers we are looking for.
Lara's thoughts are interrupted as the door opens and Karel smiles looking at her through the cell's bars. He sat on a chair still looking at her. She just stood there looking back how she is going to get out is a mystery, but she would and to she needs to find Klara before he kills her.
"So, Miss Croft, your trying to find a way to stop me after I spared your life." Karel said.
"I will try and try till I see you burn in hell." she spat.
"Well, I've gotten my sister and my men is going to kill Kurtis then your all alone in this world what then. Would you still save a world that took everyone you ever love."?
"Yes, and I'll do it again if I have to." she answered
"Well that's a shame, well then Miss Croft then here you will die, in a cell all alone." He said walking off.
Lara started looking around again for a way out but still there's only the small window and bars in front of her. She sits down on the ground and starts crying. Is she really gonna die like this? In a cell, she'd always imagined dying in battle not like this.
At the monastery Kurtis and Irene is busy coming up with a plan. Irene had been busy transporting herself to places in the world where all her people were, trying to get them to fight the battle again, as for Kurtis he is planning on how to find the entrance to the creator and how to break Klara and Lara out but he isn't winning cause everything he comes up with Irene tells him they gonna die trying that and this until now nothing. He almost gave until he sees something, like a light shining far from here, far from the castle. Irene is back and Kurtis shows her, and she gasps.
"Let me transport myself to there see what that is." She smiled "If that is what I think it is then we have some hope of winning this."
"Just hurry up, we need to break them out." Kurtis answered then saw Irene vanishes again
Irene found herself looking away from the light and she started walking closer until a voice told her to stop.
"Who is there?" She asked
"Dear one does not come closer; this place is not meant for you"
"Why what is this place and who are you." She asked again
"I'm the Angel of light waiting for two warriors and an angel to come here, to awaken her again."
"To awaken the mother?"
"Yes, but you're not a part of that only you can lead your people to help fight, now go and send those who must come here"
Irene nodded and transported herself back and told Kurtis what it is and what she found.
Another punch came as she hanged on the celling of the room. They have been slamming punches and hitting her since they captured her, and she hasn't seen Karel yet. She spat out blood, her powers are too weak to heal herself and knowing Karel he is making her weaker just to kill her easier.
The Nephilim in front of her is laughing and slammed another punch making her gasp for air until she heard him speak.
"Enough" It's Karel "Leave us alone" and with that they left
"Have you come to kill me brother?" Klara asks.
"Not yet, I want to make you suffer before you die sister."
"Well I won't give you that satisfaction, just kill me brother and get it over with."
"Let me ask you first, join me and we can rule together in this new world."
"Not over my body, kill me rather."
"As you wish sister." He smiled and readied the energy bolt.
Bang, with flashing white light Karel flies to the other side of the room. He looks up to see who just hit him and got up laughing
"Irene and Kurtis what a pleasure."
"Karel, this is not over" and with that they already taken Klara of the chain well Karel been busy getting up transported out back to the hide out.
At the hide out the laid Klara down on the mattress and Kurtis looked at her.
"How are you feeling?" he asked
"Part from being beaten up I'm fine." Klara answered as she tried to heal her wounds.
"Do you know where they have Lara?"
"Yes, down in the cell's, Karel left her there to die." Klara answered taking few breaths. She's not strong anymore and the only one who can give her strength is her mother.
"Well you rest, me and Irene is going to get Lara." He said and walked out and to where Irene is.
"Irene you need to transport me back to the castle, Lara is in the cell's down below." Kurtis said
"Kurtis before I do that there's something, I want to tell you a long time ago." Irene said
"Irene, I know what your gonna say but I don't love you I love Lara. Can we just stay friends like all those years ago?" Kurtis answered her, he had read her mind because hearing what she wanted to say he just didn't feel the same.
"What does she had that I don't have. I have been there for you when your father went to far with the training. Me not her. Why don't you just give me a chance." Irene said with sadness in her voice.
Kurtis grabbed her arm and looked her in her eyes "Irene you will find someone one day, but it is not me, I have a connection with Lara that I can't explain, please understand that."
"Then go save her yourself." And with that said Irene transported herself away from that place leaving Kurtis with his thoughts and now he had to make another plan to get Lara out of there, how he didn't know yet.
