Act 2 Scene 4
Elsa watched as the party continued throughout the evening. She was merely a spectator as she gazed around the room. Her people were enjoying themselves, talking and smiling as they were happy to be standing in the Castle once again. Admittedly, Elsa did have a small sense of pleasure as she was basking in the ceremony. It was all going well, as everyone enjoyed the performance of the dancing and singing. The kitchen staff had managed to outdone themselves with all the food and desserts they made. Elsa was pleased that things were running smoothly, even to her standards. She would often glance over at the clock, keeping track of the time. Hour after hour passed, as it was counting down to the end of the party. Elsa couldn't lie that she would be saddened knowing the people would be kicked out and the gates would be shut yet again. She was beginning to enjoy the company of the residents and guests. That being said, she knew this had to come to an end. Nothing good could ever last forever, she learned that lesson the hard way.
"Queen Elsa…" The Arendelle royal turned to her right, seeing Kai stepping over to her. "Shall we get ready to escort everyone out and close the gates again?" He asked.
Elsa heard the request, as she knew it was nearing the time. She knew she should get everyone out as the party had been this long already. Yet as she scanned the crowd, she could not see her sister anywhere. Even though Elsa would be content to be back to living in the Castle with minimal people, she knew Anna would be devastated to be sealed back up again. Even though Elsa did not want to continue this ceremony for much longer to give the people false hope, she knew this day meant so much to her sister. Wanting to meet everyone, basking in the crowd in an attempt to find those who shared her extroverted nature. Elsa wanted to ensure her sister could savor this day up to the last minute. "Tell the guards to wait ten more minutes before they begin to escort everyone out. I wish to see my sister before the end of the party and confirm with her if she is ready."
Kai bowed towards his new Queen, a smile on his lips as he went to see his sister. The two were going to enjoy the extra ten minutes of the party as they were chatting up a storm already. Elsa smiled, watching her two loyal subjects being merry. Even if she had to keep her distance, at least she could be this close to her people and not hurt them. It was a small price to pay for the curse that she was given at birth. Still, she would continue to keep them at bay now that Elsa felt more in control after going through that ceremony. If she could keep her powers bottled up, then no one would suspect her and attempt to target her or her sister.
Speaking of the Princess, Anna was dragging Hans by the arm as they pushed past the crowd. The youngest of the royals was doing all she could to reach her sibling. "Excuse me… pardon me… whoops, didn't mean to step on you… urgent business…" Anna apologized to the people as she shoved through them.
"Anna, whatever this is about… maybe you should wait to speak with the Queen after the- woah!" Hans tried to tell her, but he was being bumped into many of the guests as he held onto Anna's hand.
Eventually, the auburn-haired woman finally made it over to the throne, when the Queen saw them. "Elsa!" Anna called out.
The Queen looked over as she finally saw her sister. Breathing a sigh of relief as she saw her approaching. "There you are. I was worried you had gotten into trouble again."
Anna seemed serious, which was a rarity for her character. "Elsa, I need to talk to you."
"Now?" Elsa raised a brow. "Anna, the party is still commencing. Can't this wait until after everyone leaves and the gates are closed?" She had never seen her sister so flustered before.
"This is important." Anna declared, her eyes hardened to match her stern expression.
Elsa started to become concerned, as this topic must have been serious if she wasn't continuing to partake in the festivities. "Whatever this is…"
"I need to know what happened in that spare room." Anna cut her sister off. Elsa's eyes widened at what the Princess was saying. "That night… when those hooded figures came in."
"How… how do you…" Elsa was stunned. Hooded figures? Anna remembered them? Were her memories coming back? But why now!?
"You know about it, don't you?" Anna questioned, she was determined to interrogate her sister for answers. The Queen tried to keep herself calm, despite her anxiety climbing up in her skin. Elsa looked around, seeing a few of the guests gazing over their direction. If she didn't deescalate the situation, her and Anna could be put in danger. "Elsa, tell me!" Anna begged.
With no other choice, she had to come clean. First, she needed to get Anna alone. "Prince Hans, I wish to speak to my sister in private." She spoke in a regal tone, trying to keep up appearances.
"But Elsa-" Anna seemed to want to protest. After all, it was because of Hans that she had those visions in the first place.
The prince could sense the slight hostility, but couldn't tell if it was because of the situation or him. Regardless, he sided with the Queen. "Princess Anna, this is clearly a family matter so I prefer to wait here." He reassured her. Anna looked back over at him, disappointed he didn't want to be by her side in case Elsa would be secretive. But he was right, this was between Anna and her sister. One way or another, she was going to get to the bottom of this. Turning back to the Queen, the snow-haired Arendelle royal led her younger sibling out from the grand hall and towards the corridors. Hans watched the sisters leave, though he wanted to see what would transpire, he knew it would not be wise to stick his nose in business that was not his. Of course, he knew his brothers were not like him. Especially when they walked up next to him and watched the Queen and Princess of Arendelle walk off.
"Well, well… Looks like some drama is about to commence." Rudo noted as he patted his brother's shoulder. Already, Hans knew where this was going. Part of him didn't like it, but he knew this was what they were looking for.
Anna was escorted by Elsa as the Queen brought her to the very room where the trauma started. Elsa grabbed hold of the handles, shaking slightly as her eyes were glued to the door. She was hesitant to walk inside, mainly because of what would happen should she return to the scene where her life changed drastically. Anna waited for her to do something, but she didn't want to be patient as so many questions were swimming through her mind. Without heading into the room, Elsa decided to speak with her out in the halls. Since no one was around, she figured it would be alright to discuss this matter here. Upon facing her younger sister, she felt her heart ache as she seemed terrified to talk about this topic.
Anna, however, was adamant on discussing it. "Elsa, what happened in that room?"
The Queen of Arendelle was dreading this. She believed that there would be a day where Anna would regain her memories and would have to be told the truth. However, Elsa had hoped that it would have been when their parents were alive, so they all could explain it to the youngest of the royals. It didn't help matters that the past had to catch up to her during the coronation party either, which was a terrible timing on the spells part. Even so, Anna would not rest until she knew everything. The sooner she could explain to Anna, the easier it would be. "First… what do you remember about this room?" Elsa questioned, gesturing to the doors which lead to the room that the family of four used to play together using her powers. She was still unable to open that door, even though it was no longer locked anymore.
"I remember… playing in the room. With you and our parents…" Anna began to explain. "Then a bunch of images flashed in my mind. I see… snow, which is odd because the window wasn't open and there was no way it could have been enough to cover the floors. I remember Mom fighting someone. I saw these figures in black robes, but I couldn't see their faces, and anytime they got hit, they would just… just… disappear!"
"Anna…" Elsa tried to get her to stop, as she was raising her voice while Elsa wanted to remain quiet.
"And you…" Anna pointed at her sister. "You… shot something at them! One of them had me and you threw… this blue light at the both of us! Like you were a sorceress!"
"A-Anna…" This was worse than the Queen thought, as Anna was more aware of the event with how vividly she was describing the details.
"Elsa! What happened?!" Anna was done explaining, she was the one that wanted answers. The look in her turquoise eyes only proved how serious she was, a rarity to see on Anna's usually perky and peppy face.
There was no use denying it, Elsa realized. If she didn't come clean now, then Anna would either pester her or go out and find the answers herself. She couldn't let her sister go through such potential dangers, so she had no choice but to admit everything. With a heavy sigh, Elsa turned back to the door that she tried to keep locked away. "Do you remember… What we told you that morning when you woke up?" Elsa questioned. "That day when we would be having separate rooms from then on?"
Anna was perplexed by what Elsa was asking of her, but she figured there was a reason for it. She had to think back carefully, but eventually she was able to answer. "You told me that I had an accident. Where I fell into the ice while we were skating and you dove in to save me. You and our parents took me to Opal who healed me… but my memory was foggy because of the side effect of the spell."
Elsa nodded slowly. "That's… what we told you. But… that's not what actually happened." Elsa admitted trying to form the words. Anna moved closer to her sister, raising a brow as she was pressing for the truth. "That night of your accident, you did get hurt. But it wasn't because you fell through ice. There were these intruders that wore the black robes as you described them." Elsa looked away from her sister, unable to see her figure while she spoke. "They came in when we stayed up one night during the Aurora Borealis. We played with mom and dad and… they came in and spoke this odd language and attacked mom. Then one of them grabbed you and I… I tried to save you…"
Anna was trying to process this. This was a lot of information, but it seemed as if some pieces were missing. "Who were those people? What were they after?" The auburn princess questioned.
Elsa still was unable to look at her sister, even as she spoke. Yet she was compelled to answer. "We never found out who they were, but they weren't human. As for why they attacked us…we had a theory…" she trailed off, raising up her gloved hand and pointing at her chest. Finally, she found the strength to lift her head and stare into Anna's eyes, while Elsa's pupils held feelings of guilt.
Anna waited for her to speak, but when she kept pointing at herself the younger sibling had to finish that thought. "...You?" She breathed. The nod from the Queen only confirmed it, making Anna's eyes dilate as a result. "B-but why? Why would those people… figures, be after you?" She started to question. "Was it because they were assassins?!"
"No!" Elsa quickly shot that theory down. Lowering her hands and holding them at her side, she elaborated. "They wanted me… because of my… 'gift'."
"Gift?" Anna repeated, her curiosity growing with each explanation Elsa was giving her.
The Queen bit her lip, as she was about to unveil her greatest secret. This was not how she wanted to tell Anna. She wanted to wait until after the party, make sure the gates were locked and it was just the two of them. Yet she had been backed into a corner due to Anna regaining her memories of that night. Even so, if there was anyone who would have understood her powers, it was her dear sister. The only true family she had left. "I was born with an ability, Anna. I have the power to create snow and ice at my fingertips." Elsa looked back down at her hands, her fingers moved apart then back together. She always felt how cold they were, but they had never bothered her until that night. "Our parents knew of it… and you did too. But that night when they attacked, they held you hostage and I… I tried to stop them… My magic ended up hurting you and we…"
"Wait, you mean… that night where I was knocked out, it was you?" Anna questioned, as the guilt in Elsa came running back. Anna however was shaking her head. "No… that can't be…"
"How do you think you got that strand of color in your hair, Anna?" Elsa questioned. The younger princess blinked upon that question. Her fingers reached up to gently touch the highlight that had been with her since the 'accident'. Anna was speechless as she could only keep staring at Elsa for her to keep going. "When we brought you to Opal, she healed you. But the effect of the spell used on you caused the memories of my powers to be suppressed. She told us the side effect would only be temporary, and you'd get your memory back but… we didn't realize it would take this long…"
Anna still kept staring at her sister, disbelief in her eyes as she had been given the truth. It was a lot to digest, and part of her didn't want to accept it. "I…I can't believe this…"
"It's the truth Anna, I'm not making up my powers or the attack or-" Elsa tried to persuade her.
"It's not that!" Anna turned on her heels, looking over at Elsa with betrayal in her eyes. "I'm not mad about what happened, I believe that! What I'm mad about is the fact that you and our parents kept this from me, throughout our childhoods!" She raised her voice, echoing out her emotional pain.
Elsa rubbed her arm, the guilt in her rising as she saw how distraught Anna was, not that she blamed her. "I-I wanted to tell you but-"
"I thought we were friends! I was your sister! How could you keep such a big thing from me?!"
"I was trying to protect you!" Elsa finally cried out. "Opal warned me that there would be those who would try and use me and my powers. Mom and Dad had to shut the gates in fear that an attack like that would happen again. And I had to be in a different room in case those figures would try and attack you again. I didn't want to lose you or our parents. And the secret was supposed to be temporary until I could control my abilities…" She looked down at the hands that were covered with gloves, the only thing keeping her powers in tact. "But… they grew stronger and faster than I thought… and I came to see them as a curse. So I kept them within me… and as a result, found it better to isolate myself. I didn't want to hurt you again…" Elsa tried to explain. "And I never wanted to leave you… if I did, I wouldn't have tried to open up after our parents died." She wasn't wrong. It wouldn't have been fair to either of them to have been kept apart after the death of the former King and Queen.
Still, this was a lot to process. As much as Anna didn't want to be mad at her sister, she had a bomb practically drop on her. A secret that was kept from her for over a decade. The auburn Princess bit her lip as she stared at the Queen. Her turquoise eyes landed on the fabric that covered Elsa's hands, making an idea pop into her head. "Show me your magic…" She urged.
Hearing this caused Elsa's head to be lifted up, eyes dilated in confusion. "What?!"
"If you want me to believe you and not be mad, show me your powers! Prove to me that what you are saying is true!"
"Anna…" Elsa seemed ready to shut down that idea.
"Show me your magic, Elsa!" She was demanding, she no longer wanted to be lied to. "If you want me to believe you and not be mad, then prove to me that what you are saying is true!" She repeated her order.
Elsa kept her hands close to her chest, her eyes not wavering away from Anna despite the request. The Queen, despite wanting to please her sister to ease her pain, could not risk hurting anyone else or being exposed. So she turned away from her sister. "I-I can't…" She finally stated. "Not right now."
Anna should have figured Elsa would decline, yet she was the persistent one for a reason. The Princess reached over, grabbing onto Elsa's hand. The older of the two tried to fight back, but in the end, Anna managed to capture one of the gloves in her fingers. She held the fabric against its will, while her eyes glared at Elsa. "A-Anna give that back!" Elsa pleaded, reaching to try and reclaim what was hers.
She kept it out of reach for the Queen, relentless in her mission to expose her. "Not until you show me your powers! I don't want to be lied to anymore!"
Elsa was the one who felt just as heartbroken. While she could sympathize with Anna, she also was terrified to use her abilities. Yet Anna was not giving her a choice, nor would she be patient enough to wait for the proof. With no other options, Elsa had to cave in. "...Alright…" She finally agreed. Anna let down her guard, keeping hold of the glove while Elsa tried to prepare herself. She took in a few breaths deeply, mentally preparing herself. It had been a long time since she had summoned her magic, so she wasn't sure how good her abilities were or how long she could keep them under control. Holding out her free hand, she concentrated. Anna watched as small flakes of white began to appear within her palm. The Princess awed in amazement as the specks circled around, creating a sphere of snow until a ball was hovering over her skin. Elsa looked at what she crafted, being reminded of a simpler and happier time. She dropped the ball, letting it land on the floor as it turned the hardwood into ice where crystallized fragments began to sprung. She was relieved to see they weren't too sharp, as the sculpture resembled that of a tree with naked branches.
Seeing such a sight amazed the princess, leaving her speechless. Anna looked over at her sister, who rubbed her unprotected hand with the other one to try and warm the skin up. "Are you satisfied with your proof now?" Elsa questioned, still slightly nervous after having to showcase her power. The Princess knelt down as she moved closer to the ice tree, examining it with wide eyes. The pupils of the Princess sparkled like that of the crystal, as she gazed upon what her sister had made.
"It's… beautiful." She whispered, stunned by the abilities Elsa possessed. Which meant everything she had said was true. It made her realize that the past 13 years of her life had been a lie, but at the same time this secret had finally been revealed. Should she still be mad, or should she try to speak with Elsa about everything? Maybe Elsa was feeling just as confused and scared as Anna was, probably more so. The Princess looked back up at her, giving a smile at the Queen. Elsa didn't expect her to be so happy with how shocked she was a moment ago. Did this mean… Anna actually accepted her?
Just as Anna was about to speak, the Princess and Queen were interrupted by the collective gasps of an audience. They both turned, surprised as the guests and servants had gathered and witnessed the act of magic that the Queen summoned. Among them were Hans, the twins, Kai and Gerda. When Elsa saw the crowd, she lost her breath and felt her soul leave her body. She could not speak as she felt glued to the floor.
"Oh dear!" Anna jumped up to her feet, dusting her skirt as she tried to minimize the situation since Elsa wasn't going to. "Uh… hey everyone." She put on a smile and waved as she stepped in front of Elsa. The Queen did not mind, as she tried to use her sister as a barrier. "Now, I know this may seem kind of strange…" Anna tried to control the situation as best she could. Although, it wasn't her specialty.
"The Queen of Arendelle is a witch!" Runo shouted, pointing over at Elsa despite Anna being in the way.
"How else could she have summoned ice and snow with her hands?!" Rudi added, as he and his brother were trying to villainize Elsa. Despite their accusations, the guests and servants were pretty neutral. They were more curious by the powers the Queen possessed rather than what she was using them for. It also seemed that she wasn't attacking Anna at all, not with that small tree of ice spikes.
"No! It's not what you think!" Anna raised up her hands, speaking to the twins. "Elsa was just showing me her magic, I was pressing her for a demonstration."
"How do we know she wasn't trying to attack you?" Rudi questioned.
"Because she's my sister! And she never wanted to show me her powers because she was scared to hurt me!"
"So she does have a dangerous sorcery!" Runo corrected.
"No!" Anna was still trying to defend her sister, denying any accusations that the twins were declaring. "Elsa's powers aren't dangerous!"
Despite Anna's pleas, Elsa was not feeling as safe. Her eyes of blue looked around, realizing the crowd were gazing at her. She could hear mutters from their lips, most likely talking about her and the revelation of her abilities. Even though many of the people weren't truly sure what to think about the show, not many were buying the twin's accusations either. Yet to Elsa, all she could see were the shadows of her worst fears. She was reminded of the omen that Opal warned her, how there would be those that would use her powers if word got out. Now that everyone here knew, her anxiety rose. All she could see were the hooded figures that had attempted to hurt her family many years ago. The illusion of the assailants were appearing bigger the longer she stared at them. Her heart beat a mile a second, head spinning with terrible possibilities, even her hands were getting colder as the powers within were itching to be let out.
"I know my sister better than anyone! And she would never harm me!" Anna declared, becoming upset at both the twins as they were insulting Elsa. But when Anna said that, the memory of that night flashed into the Queen's mind. How she launched her magic at her sister, causing her to go into a coma-state and giving her a scar. If it hadn't been for Opal, Elsa could only imagine the horrible things that would have happened to the Princess of Arendelle. It was as if her past was catching up to her, and was attempting to drown her in what she was trying to overcome. The mess she found herself in was overwhelming, that she could only resort to the one thing she was best at: Running away.
Turning on her heels, Elsa reached for the handle with her gloved hand. She pushed the door to force it open, before being taken to the very room where the incident happened. Anna looked behind her and noticed her sister had gone into the room she tried to bring her to. The Princess quickly walked inside, trying to reach her sister. Elsa on the other hand was experiencing a panic attack. The memories of that event and the fears of her powers and enemies were gnawing at her mind. She held her head, trying to cease the spinning of the room. "Elsa?!" Anna called out to her, wanting to help her.
The eldest of the two pivoted to see her sister approaching, while some of the servants and other guests stayed behind the Princess, watching from afar. "S-Stay away, Anna!" Elsa begged, as her feet took a step back for every one that advanced Anna.
"Elsa, I'm not mad." Anna tried to reassure her sister, wanting to calm her down. "Please, let's just talk about this." She urged, wanting to do all she could to try and keep the situation at a minimum. She didn't want to make her sister panic furthermore, especially after exposing such a secret to everyone here. The Queen kept her uncovered hand behind her, not wanting to risk holding it up to face outward in case the magic released. She kept backing up, making it to the other end of the room. Her eyes scanned the large area, memories and fears kept flashing before her. The cloaked shadows, the younger sister getting injured, the snow and ice covering the perimeter, all of it was giving her whiplash. Her back pressed against the glass of the large window, finally being stopped in her tracks. The palm of her skin leaned on the material, beginning to coat it with the magic of ice. It began to spread on the surface, covering every inch quickly. Elsa wasn't aware of what she was doing until it was too late. Once the glass was blanketed in the crystals, the pressure caused the material to shatter.
Anna covered her face as the wind from outside made some of the shards flew towards her. Thankfully she didn't get hurt, but Elsa was once again overcome with dread as she saw what the curse had done. Her thoughts of ration dwindled as the cold air beckoned her. She hopped through the broken window, running out of the castle. By the time Anna was able to open her eyes, she saw her sister running through the snow of the castle grounds. "Elsa!" The Princess screamed, running over broken glass and ice to try and reach her sister. There was already a grand amount of distance between the siblings. Elsa trudged through the snow covered fields of the castle, not daring to look back or listen to who was speaking behind her. It was easy for her to plow through the white powder covering the ground. She had no problems with the snow after all, it was first nature for her to be surrounded by it even when she wasn't overcome with her powers.
Anna wasn't the only one that followed. Some of the servants and even the princes of the Southern Isles attempted to catch up with Elsa. The Queen found herself at the bay where the port was, the water as black as the night sky above. Beyond the deep water she could see the two Mountains that were on the other side of the Kingdom. As the Queen looked up at the tall points, her eyes widened. The wind blew in her face, dancing across the bay as it whispered incoherent sentences to her. She wasn't sure what they were saying, but they were clearing her mind of the stress. She found the wind comforting somehow, and let her body move automatically. Before she knew it, her left foot was placed onto the water. The moment her shoe made contact with the surface, ice began to spread and cover the liquid top to become solid. The Queen looked down at what she had done, seeing her powers had manifested to her feet, which she hadn't used in some time.
"Elsa!" Anna's voice could be heard from behind. Turning back, she saw her sister running as fast as she could. The Queen felt her anxiety rising, as she didn't know how to explain any of this. The only comfort she had was listening to the wind and looking up at the mountains. As crazy as it sounded, Elsa felt compelled to follow what it was that helped to ease her mind. Following her heart, she took another step out onto the ocean, leaving another ice spot on the surface. She took another, and another until her pace quickened. Elsa began to run on water, using her magic to freeze the bay and use her powers to create a bridge for her to escape. She didn't want to think about the consequences, she wanted to just leave and get away from the mess she made.
By the time Anna had reached the edge of the ocean, she fell to her knees. Holding the glove in her hands and pressing it to her chest, crying out for her sister as she was getting further away. She faded from view, as Anna felt her heart shatter. So much had happened and it was hard for her to process all the lies that came full force. And now, with Elsa gone, it only added to the confusion on the Princess. A few of the bystanders noticed that the frost over the bay began to spread, covering the surface of the water and trapping the ships that were stationed at the docks. Many of the townsfolk and guests took notice of this, slight worry as they weren't sure what happened or what this meant.
"Do you see the docks!" Runo pointed out.
"I had no idea the Queen's powers were so strong." Rudi admitted, though the twins were pleased with this situation. They were planning on using this confusion to turn the people against the monarchy. Hans however, felt slightly guilty as he looked over at Anna. He knew that her and Elsa had a complicated but strong bond, at least the Princess believed so. Perhaps if this event didn't go the way it did, this mess could have been avoided.
Gerda and Kai managed to walk over to the other Arendelle royal. The surrogate parents of Anna helped her back on her feet. Gerda tossed a cloak around her shoulders, while Kai was there to let her lean on him. They turned her around and headed back to the Castle. "It's alright, dearie." Gerda tried to comfort her. "This all must have been a lot for your sister."
Anna looked between the family servants, sorrow in her eyes as she had to ask. "Did you two know about her powers?"
Kai and Gerda looked at each other, processing that question. But they had to answer honestly. "We knew that Elsa was special, according to your parents. But they never elaborated on how." Kai admitted.
"It's my fault…" Anna kept her gaze on the ground. "I shouldn't have pressured her like that. I should have listened." If only she had waited until they were alone, then the others wouldn't have seen that and think the worse of her.
"You know Elsa has been struggling a lot. But that doesn't mean she doesn't care." Gerda reassured her. By the time they were back in the Castle Courtyard, the guests were already spreading rumors amongst themselves. It didn't help that Rudi and Runo were the seeds to the gossip either, which caused Gerda to glare at the princes of the Southern Isles. "Kai, we should rally everyone into the Castle and get them settled. Try to control the damage before it gets out of hand. I'll tend to Princess Anna. And make sure those princes of the Southern Isles are kept under a constant watch."
The brother nodded, following his sister's orders as he walked over to the crowd and tried to gather their attention. Gerda saw him trying to take the reign of a leader, which even Anna was impressed with. She suddenly felt even more helpless, for it should have been her job to tend to her subjects in the absences of Elsa. Yet she was still being cared for, despite being of royal blood. Sure, she wasn't much of a leader, but she still felt obligated to do… something, right? "Come on, Anna. We'll bring you back to your room. You've had a long day, and need rest."
The auburn Princess looked at her servant, while being guided inside the building. "What about Elsa? We can't just let her go out there on her own!"
Gerda placed a hand on her shoulder, looking the Princess in the eye with a gentle, motherly expression. "Elsa can take care of herself. She will be fine, and she will be in a place where she won't be able to hurt anyone. I am certain she is just as scared and confused as you are, so she is trying to process it." Anna could only take in the advice Gerda was saying. Elsa was the one who was suffering, now that her secret had been outed. "Give her some space and time. If she does not come back by morning, we'll send some guards to find her." It was all they could do.
Anna turned back towards the frozen harbor and mountains, just as they were entering the doors of the gates. Even though her heart yearned for the comfort of her sister, she knew that it would be unwise to will Elsa back against her wishes and cause the Queen more stress. "Please be safe…" She prayed her sister would be alright, even though she couldn't be with her at the moment.
