Nephalem Outlaws
THIS WORK IS COMPLETE FANFICTION
Chapter 3
The Ramen was heavenly I can see why Naruto loved it so much in the show, after the ramen I made my way home and brought out a spoon from the kitchen to test out a theory I was thinking as I was having my ramen.
'I know it was a game mechanic to let them carry so much stuff, but what if being a Nephalem would actually grant me that storage ability, it would be a great boon to have'
I took the spoon in my hand and conjured the flames around it, as the flames engulfed the spoon I envisioned the spoon bursting into flames and a black void where the spoon would go, I focused on that thought as I saw the spoon began to float, I felt an urge to make a fist fast as the spoon was floating above my hand I did what the urge did and I saw the spoon disappear into flames, but felt the spoon somewhere but didn't know where, I then repeated the process but instead I focused into bringing the spoon back into my hand and it worked, but I dropped the spoon immediately.
'Dammit that's hot... oh right it was engulfed in flames for while before it disappeared' I thought as I used a towel to put the spoon in the sink to cool off.
'Okay I have a pocket dimension to store things, that would make things easier for me, I wonder if I put hot food in there would it remain hot or would it go cold... I'll test it later... need to sleep'
And with that thought as I went to bed and passed out.
The Senju Compound.
Minato was in his study room going over a new seal design for the Hyuga Clan that would make the 'Caged Bird Seal' obsolete and merge both the Branch family and the Main family at the request of his friend Hiashi Hyuga as he was working the door opened revealing Kushina who was looking a bit worried which Minato noticed.
"Kushina... what's the matter" He asked.
"Minato... remember when we had that rough patch and in anger we both got drunk and had one night stand with different people" Kushina said knowing full well that it nearly ended there relationship if it wasn't that the next day they regretted what they did.
"Yeah I know... Aki Uchiha became pregnant from that night and when Fugaku found out that I was the father he offered her a choice to have an abortion and remain in a Uchiha or have the baby and the both of them will be cast out of the clan, he never did get over the fact that I was going to be the next Hokage"
"Why did you ask Kushina" Minato asked.
"While I was taking the kids to have ramen I saw one of there classmates at the stand and we had a small discussion and from that I found out his mother was 'Aki' Minato"
She said as Minato's eyes showed he was shocked at that as he was told that Aki and the baby had died during the 9 tails attack.
"Are you sure Kushina" Minato said.
"Yeah I even heard Itachi telling Sasuke that his mother was told to give up the baby or risk being removed from the clan, and there was only one person we know of that was issued with that warning Minato" She said.
"Aki" He said getting a nod from Kushina.
"I would like to get a paternity test to prove it and if possible I would like to bring him into the Senju clan" Kushina said.
"The test won't be necessary... Aki told me that I was the only one she had ever slept with, so there is no doubt that the boy is mine Kushina" Minato said.
"Then we need to bring him into the Senju Clan Minato... once someone finds out he is a Senju word will spread like fire and when the leaf enemies find out about him they will go after him seeing him as easier target to either get the Senju bloodline or to get revenge" Kushina said.
"We need to be careful Kushina, the Uchiha's are a delicate matter, the village blames them for the 9 tails attack when they saw the sharigan in the fox's eyes, even when we told them it wasn't the Uchiha they still feel they are to blame because there district was left untouched by the fox, if we do the paternity test and someone gets the hands on it not only will it show that the child is a Uchiha but also mine as well, the village will see me as being unfateful to you and will make his life terrible just for being a 'bastard' and a Uchiha"
Minato said.
"Dammit... is there anything we can do to help him, he's all alone even the Uchiha wont help him as Fugaku kicked both his mother and him out of the clan before he was even born, all because he has a grudge against you for becoming Hokage instead of him"
Kushina said.
"Till the matter with the Uchiha is resolved there's nothing we can do, the best for him is to be left alone for now... also what is his name"
Minato said hoping that after the Uchiha problem is gone he start being a father to him.
"His name is ken, also he said he can't use any Chakra because he doesn't have any which is weird cause I have never heard of anyone not having Chakra" Kushina said as she was puzzled from what Ken said about him not having any Chakra.
"Why did he say that, his Chakra isn't even unlocked yet" Minato asked.
"He does have the Sharigan but it's different than normal... here I'll draw it for you" Kushina said as she grabbed some colouring ink and drew what Ken's sharigan looked like and handed it to Minato.
"I see what you mean, could my Senju Blood be affecting it somehow, also did he say how he awaken his" Minato said but only got a 'no' response from Kushina.
"He didn't say, but he can see Chakra as he say the fox's Chakra in our girls and even saw Teuchi Chakra who is only a civilian even though it would be small"
Kushina said.
"So his Sharigan can see Chakra... till he unlocks his Chakra we'll leave him be, if we send someone to watch him it'll draw attention from either Fugaku or worse... Danzo"
Minato said as he and Kushina hated him as he views both Shinobi and Jinchurikis as tools meant to be used and thrown away once there job is done.
"I understand Minato... also Naruto has been asking me to train him again it's starting to get annoying telling him that I would only train once he's on a team"
Kushina said.
"I know but we got to make sure the girls are ready for what's coming to them if that masked bastard comes back, once he's on the girls team we'll train him to be a support Shinobi"
Minato said.
"Agreed... Naruto would be best suited to only minor techniques to help the girls when they need him" Kushina said getting a nod from Minato.
The next morning.
At Ken's Apartment.
'Okay let's see if my pocket dimension can do this'
I thought as I just finished cooking some eggy bread and used the left overs to make some scramble eggs as well and put them in my lunch box, I stretched out my hand in front me and pointed it to my lunch and began conjuring the flames that immediately began to take hold of my lunch box only this time I concentrated on not burning it this time like the spoon from last night but instead just imagined the flame being cool instead, with this i felt the heat dropped immediately but it was still there and with that I quickly closed my hand and saw the box disappear into flames.
I felt box somewhere, like it was in my head or something... still trying to get the feel of the dimension stuff.
"Okay... had breakfast, make some eggy bread and scrambled eggs for lunch... that I stored away for when it comes... hopeful it would still be nice and cooked when I summon it back"
And with that I left my apartment and made my way to another boring day at the Academy.
Lunch time at the Academy.
'Okay... game time... first let's make sure no-one sees me'
I sat down underneath a tree and activated my Nephalem eyes which is what I'm calling it now seeing as it wasn't the Sharigan but something else instead.
As I looked around with my eyes I saw no-one looking at me, true I didn't need my Nephalem eyes for that but I did need them to see if any Anbu was in the area looking at us, seeing that nearly or all of the future Clan heads were here, but my eyes told me that there wasn't any, even if they were hiding I would see there Chakra even if they were using Invisibility Jutsu which I saw when I was watching the anime.
Hell even yesterday I saw Itachi use the technique get away from some of his fangirls and I still saw him through it.
As my eyes told me no Anbu or anyone was hiding in the Area but my eyes did let me see one thing which I failed to notice, I saw the sensory barrier over the village, it was like a dome of Kanji circling the village with 4 big Kanji words for 'Barrier' in bold, I even saw some buildings with similar design on it but with the word 'Blocked' on it obliviously put there to stop the Hyuga from looking everywhere with there eyes.
With the thought that no-one was looking at me I decided to put my theory to the test and stretched my hand in front of me and summoned my lunch box in front of me, a small but quick flame appeared that spread out till it reached the size of my lunch box and quickly disappeared leaving my lunch box where it was once was, all it took was a second or two for that to happen and no-one noticed it.
'Good... now let's see if my lunch is still freshly cooked'
I opened box and the heat and smell hit me confirming my theory that whatever the state the object was in it would remain that way till it was summoned back... at least temperature wise, but I failed to remember one major problem bringing hot food to the Academy and that was...
"EGGY BREAD"
Choji Akimichi somehow immediately picked up the smell of lunch and immediately ran over and grabbed my lunch box and began eating it, by the time I realised what was happening it was too late.
"DELICIOUS... and the scrambled eggs were nice too... oops"
Was all he said and I reacted like any normal 7 year old would do in that situation, I stood up looking pissed and quickly punched him in the nose.
"MY NOSE"
He said getting everyone's attention to us, but I ignored him as I punched him again... well tried to but couldn't move.
"Shadow Possession Jutsu Complete... sorry for my friend here, true he should've seen that it was your lunch and not his, how can you smell cold food is beyond me" Shikamaru said.
"It wasn't cold, it was still fresh like it was just recently cooked... how did you get it to remain that way"
Choji asked while his hand was over his nose which wasn't bleeding but it did look red and a bit swollen.
"How's that possible we all came out together and the Academy doesn't even have any cooking lessons... so how did you make some cooked food so quickly Ken" Shikamaru said.
"Easy... I saw him summoning his lunch box just before Choji ate it"
I quickly looked over to where that voice was coming from and saw Shino next to the tree where I summoned my lunch box, I was going to ask how I didn't see him but then again if anyone from the rookie 9 was stealthy it would Shino, the guy likes to be quite which makes it hard to see him and I should've known he would be behind the tree.
"How... I don't see any scrolls lying around" Shikamaru said which got me nervous and the next thing I knew I was looking at his Chakra and saw his expression change instantly which meant my Nephalem eyes just switched on.
"What the... what happened to your eyes Ken" Shikamaru said as people started to gather around us after Choji sudden outburst of 'EGGY BREAD'.
I looked around and saw the expressions on everyone faces as they saw my eyes for the first time, they were afraid which is to expected as they are just kids after all, except for the Senju kids as they have already seen my eyes, I took a deep breathe and closed my eyes before exhaling and opening my eyes again and everything went back to normal.
"Shikamaru would you so kindly let me go, I will not attack Choji... also Choji please reframe from taking other peoples lunch in the future, it does not help when your trying to make some friends understand"
I said as Shikamaru took a moment before dropping his Jutsu.
"I'm sorry Ken" Choji said as he picked up my empty lunch box and give it back to me.
"Shino you saw Ken summon his lunch box... how'd he do it" Shikamaru asked.
"I saw a flame appear in front of his hand that quickly grew to the size of his lunch box and disappeared quickly and when it did the lunch box was there"
Shino said as I grabbed my lunch box and summoned it away in front of everyone, I didn't care that everyone saw it even if Iruka saw it and reported it to Minato and I had to give a demonstration in front of him, I would just say 'hell no'.
Everyone who saw my lunch box disappear into flames were again looking at me like I was a demon or something.
'I would not be surprised if everyone started calling me a demon from now on' I thought to myself.
"That was so cool" That comment took me by surprise, I looked towards whoever said it and found out it was Naruto who said.
"Wait your not freaked out by what I just did" I said.
"What no... it's so cool Ken, you don't need scrolls to transport things, that is so awesome" Naruto said.
"I have to agree with Naruto... scrolls are useful for transporting large amount of supplies to our Outposts on the Borders but the time it takes to make the scroll is a bit time cosuming"
Iruka said as he came up to us.
"Iruka sensei you saw that" I said.
"Yes I did... I also saw Choji Akimichi eating your lunch" He said giving Choji an angry look.
"Sorry sir" Choji said looking sad.
"Let this be a lesson Choji, even Shinobi need to eat understand" Iruka said getting a nod from Choji.
'How did I not see him... I'm stupid thinking that I can easily hide away from Shinobi with barely a few days at the Academy' I sighed thinking that I can hide my abilities.
"So ken is there anything else you want tell us, maybe about your eyes" Iruka said with a smile.
"He says he can see Chakra even the fox's Chakra inside of us" Natsumi said getting looks from everyone before turning them eyes to me.
"Yes I can see Chakra, I can also see that some buildings have Kanji on them that says 'Blocked' and something over the village that says 'Barrier'" I said.
"Impressive Ken that you can see the Fuinjutsu that makes the Village Sensory Barrier... even some of our buildings have those in case someone goes looking through, I wonder... Ken can your eyes see through people and buildings too" Iruka said but I told him no.
"Also Ken when did you manage to summons things without a scroll" Iruka asked.
"I started last night after I discovered that I can do that... also from last night and this morning I tested out a theory to see if the state of the object remains in that state or will deteriorate after a while which is why I used my lunch to test that, which thanks to Choji proves that I can keep my food in that state for hours maybe even days"
I said getting a shock look from Iruka and everyone else too.
"You... you tested out a theory about summons that you just discovered you can do without scrolls also last night " Shikamaru said sounding a bit shocked.
"Yes why are yous shocked" I said.
"We're shocked because you can only summon things with a scroll and knowing Fuinjutsu that out mother is teaching us and even then it would take months just to seal some tools... and yet you managed to find a way to do that without a scroll and... please tell me you have reading the Fuinjutsu books too" Mito said.
"No... like I said I just discovered that I can do that last night" I said getting an angry look from the redhead.
"How... how do you even... how do you even do that... it shouldn't even be possible, not even mom, dad can do that, not even Grandpa Jiraiya or Grandma Tsunade can do that"
Mito said as she was having a headache trying to figure out how I did it was possible, but what she said got me.
"Wait a minute... did you just say Grandpa Jiraiya and Grandma Tsunade" I said shocked hoping if by some miracle Jiraiya did the impossible and somehow had sex Tsunade who would've beaten his face into the ground at even attempting it.
"Yeah they our dad's parents why are you so shocked at hearing that" Naruto said as I looked at him with a shocked looked.
"I heard he was a massive pervert it's why" I said.
"Yeah they got incredible drunk one day and woke up the next morning together is what they said... is that how children are born... getting drunk" Mito said putting a finger under her chin, as did everyone else as well.
I wanted to correct her but I remembered that we are in a class of 7 year olds, and Iruka looking like he was going to explain it to us..
"Yeah I'll just leave like that for now till we are older" I said getting a sigh of relief from Iruka who thought that he was going to explain how sex works.
Bell ringing.
"Alright everyone lunch is over head back inside... oh Ken seeing that Choji ate your lunch here take this for now" Iruka said giving me a rations bar.
"It's not very tasty but it will keep you going till the day is over"
