Chapter 8
Outside of Konoha.
Naruto just stood there looking at Ken with shock and for good reason as hew saw Kens dead body over two years at the mass funeral for the Uchiha Massacre, as Naruto took a step forward till he was in front of him he moved his fingers and poked Ken on the forehead who simply smiled.
"Yes Naruto, I'm alive" Ken said.
"How we saw your body... we buried you" Naruto asked.
"Naruto do you know the Village Elder Danzo Shimura" Ken asked.
"Yes mom and dad told us to stay away from him but didn't say why" Naruto said getting a sad look from Ken.
"Danzo found out who my parents are Naruto and he saw an opportunity to get me before the massacre happened" Ken said.
"He found out that our dad is your dad but why would he kidnap you" Naruto asked.
"Think about it Naruto... the Uchiha's and there famous Sharingan and the Senju's with power elemental affinities and then there's me my mother a Uchiha and my father a Senju"
Ken said to Naruto who began to see just how powerful such a person could be.
"That's why he kidnap you, but wait the body we buried... Blood Clone Jutsu but that's forbidden" Naruto getting a shock from Ken.
"Wait how did you know about blood clones" Ken asked.
"Mom and dad taught our sisters the Shadow Clone technique and told them the dangers of it as well, when they asked if there were more powerful versions they told them about elemental clones and the blood clone but said it was forbidden as when the clone dies with decompose into nothing in a month, leaving our enemies time to figure out what kind of intel they can get from body"
Naruto said.
"Yeah I can see why it would be forbidden... wait who's that" Ken said as he activated his eyes which shown light in the darkness as he saw two figures coming towards them, a few second later he saw who it was.
"Naruto... Lady Tsunade and Jiraiya are coming do you want them to know we are here, hurry we got a minute in the darkness" Ken said getting a look of shock from Naruto.
'Should I... no they've been ignoring me too'
"No we need to hide" Naruto said as ken nodded before grabbing his hand and leading him to a tree.
"Quickly press your back against the tree facing the road" Ken said.
"But they will see us" Naruto said with worry.
"They won't I'll use my Illusion to hide us it doesn't use chakra so hopefully they won't notice us" Ken said getting a nod from Naruto as he cast his Illusion on Jiraiya and Tsunade making them believe that Naruto and Ken are invisible but left the bodies.
"Looks like the celebrations are already starting" Jiraiya said as he saw fireworks.
"Looks like but then again we knew we'll be late for the party after the trip to Gate Cross Village... Jiraiya heads up bodies" Tsunade said as she saw the dead Root Agents and quickly looked around the area as did Jiraiya completely missing Ken and Naruto who had his hands on his mouth.
"Looks like there Anbu, but to be sure" Jiraiya said as removed the mask of 87 and opened his mouth and poured some Chakra on the tongue seeing a faded curse mark.
"One of Danzo boys" Jiraiya said as his face took one of anger as did Tsunade.
"Same with the other two, looks like Danzo didn't get rid of Root as he was ordered too and from the looks of things they only manage to use one earth justu before thery were killed" She said getting a nod from Jiraiya.
"Who ever did this acted fast and with precision, they barely saw it coming... Danzo should know better than to bring back Root after what he did to the Uchiha's" Jiraiya said.
"Minato was so close to having peace with them by agreeing with Fugaku that Itachi would be the next Hokage and Fugaku realising that punishing Aki was a mistake as Ken would've helped mend the wound between the Senju's and Uchiha's, but then Danzo just had to go behind Minato's back and ordered Itachi to wipe them out" Tsunade said as she shed a tear for losing one of her grandson.
"Tell me about who knows just how powerful such a kid could be become... something off here" Jiraiya said getting Tsunade attention.
"What is it" She asked.
"There wounds, these two look like they had Kakashi's Chidori to the back and chest but this one he had both of his arms cut off and then his head too" Jiraiya said as Tsunade looked at them.
"Seal them up and I'll have a look in the morning, also have the Yamanaka's search there minds for anything" Tsunade said.
"They might get fragments seeing as they are dead but something is better than nothing, I'll check with Itachi in a few days and see if knows anything about this" Jiraiya said as he looked around some more.
"I think I got the layout or something that went down here but I'll leave it be the now till we know more then we'll tell Minato who have a nice conversation with Danzo about this" Jiraiya said as he sealed up the bodies.
"I think I'm getting the picture too, whoever killed them is long gone as I don't sense any Chakra nearby or any running away" Tsunade said as she and Jiraiya both left the area leaving Naruto and Ken behind who deactivated his eyes.
"That was close and worked in my favor, like to see Danzo figure his way out of this one" Ken said with a smile as turned to face Naruto who looked he was just told one of the villages greatest and darkest secrets.
"Naruto are you okay" Ken said.
"I... I don't know, mom and dad always said to stay away from Danzo but they didn't say anything that he was capable of murdering an entire clan let alone kidnap someone" Naruto said.
"Naruto... Danzo ordered me and these agents to kidnap you because your the same as me" Ken said getting Naruto's attention.
"What do you mean same as you" Naruto asked.
"Naruto I don't have Chakra even Danzo's agents confirmed it when they were training me" Ken said to Naruto.
"But you have powers just like they do" Naruto said.
'Okay time to see if Naruto can awaken his own Nephalem but what would be most effective, maybe wind... maybe chakra chains he is an Uzumaki' Ken thought to himself.
"Naruto listen to what I say and focus... picture in your mind a long chain with a kunai at the end" Ken said as Naruto put his fingers together to form a handsign but was stopped by Ken.
"You don't need to do that, once you have that image in you head focus on the tree over there and put your arm back like your about to to punch someone"
Ken said as Naruto imagined the chain in his head and put his arm into a punching motion.
"Good now imagine the chain launching from your arm to the tree but open your eyes and look at the tree and throw your arm at it but open your hand just before you fully stretch your arm"
Ken said as Naruto followed the instructions and as Naruto threw his arms Ken activated his eyes and saw a surge of light coming off Naruto as a chain shot from Naruto's arm and impaling itself on the tree, Naruto looked stunned as he saw the chain reflecting the moonlight from it's metal to his face as he looked at Ken and saw a smile.
"Like I said Naruto we're the same, and no I didn't cause an illusion I just used my eyes just in time to see a light come of your body as you finally awakened your nephalem abilities"
Ken said.
"I believe you, I can feel the chain pulling me... nephalem is that what we are because we don't have Chakra" Naruto said getting a nod from Ken.
"Naruto I promise I will tell you what the nephalem are but for now we need to go somewhere safe for now in case Danzo sends more agents after us"
Ken said getting a nod from Naruto as the chain retracted back into his arm as if on cue getting a slight shock from Naruto.
"Naruto where were you heading" Ken asked.
"I was heading to Gate Cross Village and heading to refugee camp site off world" Naruto said.
"Gate Cross Village, refugee camp site" Ken asked confused.
"Oh right... Gate Cross Village is the name of the place with the stargate and after you 'died' the Mizukage went mad with power and started something called a 'Bloodline purge' so they made camp site off world for the refugees fleeing from him in case he sent hunter nin after them"
Naruto said.
'Damn it... okay train Naruto, do some jobs to get experience, take care of the Akatsuki and Black Zetsu before they start the 4th Shinobi war'
"And with the Stargate as the only means to and from the world it would be heavily guarded on both ends... okay we'll head to the refugee site and once we get there I'll train you Naruto and once your ready we'll head back and do some jobs as mercenaries"
Ken said.
"ALRIGHT" Naruto yelled out causing Ken to rush over and shut his mouth.
"Quiet... don't want Jiraiya or Tsunade to come back" Ken said getting a nod from Naruto.
"Alright then... I take it you know the way to Gate Cross right" Getting a nod from Naruto who began walking in the it's direction.
"It will take us a couple of days to get there" Naruto said.
"Then we run Naruto this will help us reduce the time and train you for long runs" Ken said as Naruto started running causing Ken to run along aside him as well.
The next day.
Hokage Office.
Minato was sitting at his desk with his shadow clones doing paperwork when the door opened as Jiraiya and Tsunade with a folder in her arm came into the room.
"Hai kid busy as usual" Jiraiya said as he saw the shadow clones.
"Always dad, I take it that's the autopsy report mom" Minato said.
"Yes it is" Tsunade said as she handed him the report as he opened it and began to read it.
"All 3 of them were Root Agents, two of them were killed by a technique similar to Kakashi's Chidori with the only difference being that the wound is smaller most likely caused by someone smaller than an adult, as for the other one I can confirm that he was killed after his arms were cut off"
Tsunade said.
"So then we can rule out Kakashi then, anything else you can think of that you've might have forgotten" Minato said but got a no from them.
"We'll just have to wait till the Yamanaka's are done with the mind walk before we can figure out what happened last night till then we'll keep this quiet" Minato said.
"Yeah Thankfully we'll won't have to wait long as soon as I finished Inochi took over a the moment I finished with the first body" Tsunade said.
"Good thing you told me last night, I got 3 teams of Anbu watch Danzo and his base in case he does anything" Minato said.
Konoha's Morgue.
In the morgue lies the dead 3 Root Agents with a team of Yamanaka's and a team of Anbu to guard them in case Danzo were to arrive to take them and dispose of the evidence.
As the Yamanaka's were in the minds of 23 and 35, Inochi was in the mind of 87.
"Damn she was close to killing the little guy only for him to cut off her arms and head very quickly" Yamanaka no. 1 said as he was working on 23 mind.
"Tell me about it, who ever this 13 kid is they taught him well, but why was Naruto outside of the village at this hour and why would 13 rescue him" Yamanaka no. 2 said who was aiding his friend on 23 mind as well.
"I'm more concerned that Danzo was after Naruto in the first place... it seems that 23 here didn't get a look at 13 face and any memories are too fragmented to go deeper"
No 1 said.
"Yeah same with this guy, the only thing I got is that 13 used some kind Genjutsu to make him think that he was impaled on that earth Jutsu he used, only for the kid to impale him with his own version of Kakashi's chidori albeit a more silent kind, got to give the kid some credit on figuring out that one, I wouldn't be surprised if Kakashi asked him how he did it"
Yamanaka no 3. said he was work on 35 mind not noticing one of the Anbu guards with a Dog mask looking at him.
"Hai Inoichi you got anything on your one" no 3. said but saw shock from his face that turned to anger.
"Yes a lot, this guy trained 13 personal before he gave him a mask" Inochi said waiting a minute as he tried to figure out how to tell Minato.
"Well don't leave us hanging who's the kids" no 1 said.
"It's Minato's son Ken Senju Uchiha" Inoichi said getting shocks from everyone in the room.
"but he's dead... how can he be the one that did this" Dog said.
"Sorry that's classified, but I got to report this to Minato at once, dog eagle accompany me I don't want Danzo goons going after me" Inoichi said as he left the morgue with his Anbu guards follow him.
Root Base.
Danzo was not happy, first the team that was sent to retrieve Naruto failed to return and the second team that was sent to go after them was stopped by Anbu asked what they were doing, they said they were on a patrol route outside of the village but was told to head back instead forcing them to return back to Danzo who was not happy as his base was now surrounded by Anbu watching his every move.
'Damn it, that retrieve mission failed and now I got Minato's complete focus on me, the team must've been killed or else Minato would sure know that I have one of his sons and was planning on taking the other one as well... nothing to do now but wait thankfully the Yamanaka's can't get a lot from the dead and 23 and 35 never did train 13... shit 87 was his instructor'
Danzo was in fear at what might happen knowing that Minato would discover that Ken was alive.
Hokage office.
Hour later.
Inoichi knocked on the door before entering with his Anbu guards and saw Minato, Tsunade and Jiraiya in the room as well.
"Inoichi I take it you found something" Minato said as he saw Inoichi stern face.
"Yes I have, the Root team was sent to retrieve Naruto outside of Konoha after he was kicked out of his family last night" Inoichi said getting a look of complete shock from Minato and his parents.
"WHAT... Kushina and I never kicked Naruto out of our family last night" Minato said with shock.
"Hokage are you aware the law regarding Clan heirs and siblings" Inoichi said.
"Yes... in regards to twins one is made heir and the other is to leave the family, that's why we made Mito the next Clanhead of the Uzumaki so that she can still be in the family and Naruto wasn't born on the same day as the twins... right" Minato said as he began to remember the night his children were born.
"Oh no" Minato said with guilt as he remembered what actually happened that night and the triplets 9th birthday as he remembered the banner that said happy birthday to the girls but it never said happy birthday to Naruto.
"Oh shit" Jiraiya and Tsunade said as they remembered as well and both felt guilt.
"What have we done" Minato said only for Inoichi to step forward.
"Minato your not the only one who forgot as well" He said with shame.
"but there's something else as well... we've found out that the team sent by Danzo was a 4 man squad who were betrayed by the fourth who was tried to stop them and that he was called 13 but I saw his face... and..."
Inoichi stopped there as he tried to figure out how to tell them.
"What who was it" Tsunade said only for dog to step forward.
"Sensei it was Ken sir" Dog said.
"Ken" Minato said as shock took over and tried to figure out how he was alive, a minute later that shock turned to anger.
"That bastard Danzo, he switched him with a blood clone" Minato said as he began to leak KI, Tsunade and Jiraiya heard this they quickly came to the same conclusion.
"He found out that your Ken's father and couldn't let him out of his grasp and saw an opportunity with the Uchiha's... that BASTARD" Jiraiya said with anger.
"Inoichi anything else you found out" Tsunade said as she contained her anger.
"Yes the root agent I mind walked into was the one who trained so his his memories were easy to restore... Ken has a healing ability that was brought forward to Danzo who ordered them to up his training to anything lethal except for maiming and fatal wounds"
Inoichi said getting shock from the everyone in the room.
"Danzo also ordered the other members of the team hill him should he disobey his orders which from last night he did" Inoichi said.
"Wait a second this is Danzo were talking about he would've made sure that Ken has a curse mark on him and would've received mental conditioning to ensure complete obedience to him"
Jiraiya said.
"It would appear that the conditioning didn't work... also it seems that Ken's eyes have changed since they appeared different since we last saw it" Inoichi said as his daughter saw Kens eyes change and drew a picture to show her parents.
"They changed how" Minato said.
"Now his eye goes completely blue except for those 3 slits, also he can cast some kind of Gen jutsu that doesn't use any Chakra" Inoichi said.
"Doesn't any Chakra how's that possible" Tsunade said.
"It might have something to do with him being a 'Nephalem' sir" Inoichi said getting puzzled looks from them.
"Apparently Ken and Danzo discovered some kind of message left behind by the Sage of Six paths in some ruins nearby, I don't know what the message says but from what I gathered from Ken's 'Instructor' only those born without Chakra can they access there nephalem abilities which seem to mimic there Chakra counter part"
Inoichi said as he some shocked faces.
"Dammit... Jiraiya the boys were right there when we arrived and since we have been ignoring Naruto, Ken cast an illusion on us making it seem it was the us two and the dead bodies"
Tsunade said as Jiraiya thought back.
"Crap not only that but we just told each other about what Danzo did to the Uchiha's" Jiraiya said.
"Mother I want you and a tracking team to go look for the boys and bring them back... father, you, Kushina and me and several more teams of Anbu are going over to Danzo and remove everyone single curse mark on Danzo's Agents... I told him to disband Root after what he did to the Uchiha's but to kidnap my son and planning to take my other son... NO MORE"
