Nephalem Outlaws

Chapter 9

Konoha, Hokage Residence.

As Kushina was in the living going over the new schedule for the girls training as they were at the Academy and her shadow clones were doing the house chores (AU: Let's face it folks, even a Kunoichi would use the technique to get out of doing house chores), Minato teleported into the living with a serious face which she saw.

"Minato... is something wrong" Kushina said with worry.

"Danzo attempted to go after Naruto with his goons but was stopped" Minato said with anger.

"Thank kami for Anbu, but why would Danzo go after Naruto he doesn't have any Chakra" Kushina said with sadness as it pained her greatly that she couldn't teach her son any of her or her clans techniques.

"It wasn't Anbu that stopped Danzo... it was... it was Ken" Minato said as tears began to build up.

"Ken... ken, you don't mean, but he died" Kushina said looking confused.

"Danzo replaced him with a Blood Clone the night the Uchiha's was massacred" Minato said getting a shock look from Kushina.

"He found out, how did he find out... oh my kami how is ken doing" Kushina said with worry.

"I... I don't know, I only found out he was alive an hour ago when Inoichi came back from mind walking into the remains of Danzo Root Agents that Ken killed outside of Konoha that he was a part of to retrieve Naruto who was also outside the village walls and from Inoichi reports from there memories, they never stood a chance"

Minato said getting a puzzled look.

"Wait a minute you said 'outside of Konoha' what was Naruto doing all the way out there he should've been here last night enjoying the girls birthday"

Kushina said but got a look of pure sadness from Minato.

"Kushina we've been neglecting Naruto so much that he left the village" Minato said as tears began to fall down.

"What do you mean we've been neglecting Naruto... since when" Kushina said not liking what Minato just said.

"Naruto's birthday is the same as the girls because their triplets..."He said letting Kushina think for moment before he continued.

"And according to Clan Laws regarding twins or triplets and clan heirs" Minato stopped here so that Kushina would think what Minato was going to say.

"No... please tell me we didn't" Kushina said as she realises what they did but got a silent nod from Minato.

"We spent so much time making sure the girls were ready when that masked bastard would show up, that over time we completely ignored Naruto and almost lost him to Danzo"

Minato said.

"What have I done... I've betrayed my clan" Kushina said as she cried heavily into Minato's arms.

"Danzo wanted Naruto cause he and Ken are the same" Minato said as Kushina pushed herself away from his arms with a puzzled look on her face with red shot eyes.

"What... do... you... mean" Kushina said as she was regaining control over herself.

"Danzo discovered a message from the Sage of Six paths in some ruins, I don't know what it said but only those without Chakra can they awaken there nephalem powers"

Minato said.

"Neph-a-what what is that" Kushina said.

"I don't know, I sent my mother with a tracker team to find Ken and Naruto, while we, my dad, several teams of Anbu and several Clans will be getting rid of Danzo once and for all"

Minato said with anger as did Kushina.

"Once Danzo is dealt with, we need to make amends to Naruto, we need to find a way to bring him home" Kushina said.

"Agreed... I've sent another team of Anbu to watch the girls at the Academy in case Danzo tries to get them" Minato said as Kushina nodded before going to the family dojo to arm herself for the upcoming battle against Root.

Land of Fire.

"Okay we'll rest here for 30 minutes before continuing" Ken said as he and Naruto stopped by a river on the way to the stargate.

"Okay... Ken" Naruto said as he was exhausted from the run.

"Naruto let me see your bag for moment" Ken said getting a nod from Naruto who threw Ken his bag.

"Your checking... what we've got... aren't you" Naruto said getting a nod from Ken.

"Clothes, ration bars and a herbalist guide book, good thinking Naruto" Ken said getting a smile from Naruto.

"Alright let's begin your next training and you will like it" Ken said as he picked a small rock and gave it to Naruto.

"What are you teaching me that involves a rock" Naruto said with a puzzled look.

"Do you remember that I can summon things without a scroll a few years ago" Ken said getting a nod from Naruto.

"I can do that by storing the items in my personnel dimension and I'm seeing if you can do that too" Ken said getting a big smile from Naruto who had stars in his eyes.

"Please teach me" Naruto said.

"Okay first off... on your empty hand imagine the wind, the feel of it, imagine it spinning around your hand" Ken said as Naruto nodded and closed his eyes.

'I'm hoping his affinity is wind based like the show' Ken thought to himself

As Ken waited for about a minute, he saw the wind around Naruto's spinning around it.

"Good keep your focus and open your eyes" Ken said and saw another smile from Naruto as he saw the wind circling around his hand.

"Good... now then, the hand with the rock imagine a dark place with nothing in it and imagine the rock being summoned there from your hand... and also focus"

Ken said getting a nod from Naruto who began to follow the instructions, as Ken watched Naruto he saw his hand being covered with wind a minute later Naruto's hand closed immediately shocking Naruto.

"Oh crap I crushed the rock" Naruto said with worry but stopped worrying when he saw Ken with a smile.

"What just happened was the same with me, now then focus and try to summon the rock back in your hand and keep your eyes open" Ken said getting a nod from Naruto who focus on his hand and in a few seconds a gust of wind came from his hand as the rock reappeared on his hand.

"I did it... I DID IT" Naruto shouted with excitement.

"Well done Naruto, not only did you manage to unlock your wind power but you managed to unlock your own personnel storage space as well, well done" Ken said as Naruto was jumping all over the place but stopped.

"Why do I feel so...(yawn) tired" Naruto said.

"It will be like that at first because it's a muscle that gets stronger with time and it won't be as exhausting as well" Ken said as grabbed Naruto before he collapsed to the ground, Ken was worried at first but he heard some slow breathing showing that Naruto was asleep.

"Well looks like I'm carrying you Naruto" Ken said as gathered Naruto's stuff and put it into his personnel space for safe keeping, as he picked up Naruto and carried him on his back.

"Good thing you told the directions otherwise I would've gotten us lost" Ken said as he continued there way to Gate Cross Village.

Root Base.

Danzo was waiting in the centre of his base for his encounter with Minato, normally he would've fled but his Root told him that all exists were blocked by Anbu and several dozen Jonins who were armed and under orders from Minato to keep them inside.

'Why should I be worried... it's not like he's going to kill me, there's no way he's found out that 13 is his son he couldn't have, there memories would've been fragmented if they are dead and if they are alive the seals on there tongues would've have prevented them from talking... and besides he's just give me a slap on the wrist like I did with the Uchiha'

Danzo thought to himself with a smile only find Minato teleporting in front of him with Jiraiya, Kushina and several Anbu teams that appeared along side him.

"What seems to be the problem Hokage that you had to bring this many Shinobi, when you could've just asked to meet me in your office" Danzo said calmly.

"I thought I told you that Root was disbanded after what happened to the Uchiha, but it seems last night Jiraiya and my mother found 3 corpses with your seal on there tongues outside of Konoha, care to explain"

Minato said seriously.

"I don't know what you are talking about Minato and as far as I am aware Root is disbanded so I have no idea what they are doing outside of the village or how they died"

Danzo said calmly.

"It would appear that they were killed by a 4th team mate of theres with impressive skills at least that was gathered by the Yamanaka's mind walk from Agents 23 and 35 but they didn't what he looked like other than he was called 13"

Minato said seeing a smile from Danzo.

"However... the 3rd corpse... 87... he knew who 13 was as he personnel trained him"

Minato said getting a shock response from Danzo who immediately moved his hand to his bandages covering his eye only for Minato to teleport in front of him and rip his eye out.

"AAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRR" Danzo screamed in pain.

"Did you really think I wouldn't know that you had a sharingan implanted" Minato said as he looked at the eye in his hand as he crushed it.

Danzo back away from Minato as his Root bodyguards stepped in front of him ready to protect there master.

"You hate the Uchiha so much and yet you would implant there eyes to replace yours in a heart beat" Minato said as he stepped forward.

"You replaced my son with a blood clone who died during the massacre to make sure no one would look for him as you kept him here in a room while his 'Instructor' tortured days on end for two years"

Minato said as he closed his eyes in anger as he clenched his fists.

"ROOT KILL MINATO NOW" Danzo said he turned to leave but couldn't move, neither did his root agents.

"WHAT THE" Danzo said but saw his shadow and his roots all tied together as heard explosions from both the top and bottom of his base.

"Shadow Possession Complete" Deer Anbu said as the rest of his team went ahead and placed sealing tags on the root agents that rendered them unconscious.

"When I said Root was disbanded I meant it, I even had a plan should you either go behind my back or even try to kill me"

Minato said as orange eyeshadow appeared on his face as he opened his eyes showing toad like pupils as he entered Sage mode.

Danzo seeing this tried to move his hand to his bandage covered arm with restraints but couldn't from the shadow possession from Deer Anbu.

"Sir his bandaged arm is covered in Sharingans and what looks like a face at the top of it" Eagle Anbu said.

Kushina hearing this jumped forward and drew her katana and in one strike cut off Danzo's arm, Jiraiya seeing the arm in the air grabbed it and took off the bandages and restraints and was shocked from what he saw, the arm was white with nearly a dozen eyes implanted in it, the shoulder had a face on it which sickened Minato and everyone else who came with him.

"That face... YOU BASTARD, YOU KIDNAPPED MY SON, ATTEMPTED TO KIDNAP MY OTHER SON AND YOU EVEN DISCRETED THE FIRST HOKAGE AND MY GREAT GRANDFATHER"

Minato said with rage as charged a massive wind style rasengan.

"HERE'S SOMETHING ELSE YOU CAN HAVE... WIND RELEASE: RASENSHURIKEN"

(AU: Minato died before he could add an element into the rasengan so there is a very good reason that he could finish the rasengan later in life if he survived the sealing process or if Naruto being born went smoothly without anyone intervening in it)

Minato said he threw the rasengan at Danzo.

Jiraiya, Kushina and the team of Anbu who had the unconscious root agents immediately back away as the rasengan hits it's target engulfing Danzo in a white sphere that had billions of microscopic wind blades that attacked every cell in Danzo body.

"NNNNNOOOOOOOOO" Danzo scream in both pain and anger as his dreams of being Hokage of the strongest village was finally gone.

As the white sphere disappeared leaving Danzo on the ground floor of his Root Base struggling to stay alive.

"Any last words Danzo Shimura" Minato said as he teleported next to Danzo.

"hahaha... you have... killed me... that is... certain... hahaha" Danzo said.

"Why are you laughing monster" Minato said.

"hahaha... you have the... power of the fox... but you lost your... nephalem sons whose... power is far greater... than the fox all... because of you and not... me"

Danzo said getting an angry look from Minato.

"For you... see you ignored Naruto for years... and you left Ken... in my care for... two years and the... secrets I've found out... from him that he was hiding hahaha... you should've killed... me after what I did... to those traitorous Uchiha... then you would've... saved Ken from me..."

Danzo said with a smile.

"I will make amends to Naruto and Ken for what I did" Minato said but all he saw from Danzo was a smile.

"hahaha... you may be able... to make amends... if your STILL ALIVE"

Danzo said as he gather his last of his strength as he activated a seal on his chest, Minato seeing this went wide eyed.

"EVERYONE BACK AWAY NOW" Minato yelled as he and several others immediately backed away as black ink started spewing from Danzo's body till a black vortex appear dragging everything in it into Danzo's now lifeless body that was now in the bottom of a crater.

"Crazy bastard and yet that is something he would do when the end is coming for him" Jiraiya said as he looked at the crater.

As several Anbu appeared next to the crater along with Minato, Kushina and Jiraiya.

"I should've killed him years ago" Minato said with sadness as Danzo words about his sons began to sank in.

"Don't take Danzo's words to heart son, he's a manipulator trying to get the last laugh" Jiraiya said as he placed his hand on Minato's shoulder.

"Sir we have taken nearly half of Danzo's forces into custody and the remaining forces seem to be faltering" Bear Anbu said.

"Kushina help with forces and see if you can remove the seals..." Minato said but was interrupted.

"Sir that won't be necessary, as soon as Danzo died the seals on the ones we captured disappeared" Eagle said.

"Well that saves me some time... Minato I'm going to look for the boys with your mother you need to stay here and clean up" Jiraiya said as he was about to leave but felt a hand grab his shoulder.

"I'm coming with you Jiraiya and no buts" Kushina said getting a nod from both Jiraiya and Minato.

"Here take one of my kunai's in case things turn south" Minato said giving Kushina the kunai before turning his head to one of Danzo Root Agents.

"Danzo said something about secrets that Ken was hiding what was it" Minato said.

As the Root Agents that were still conscious turned to each other looking at each over before turning to Minato.

"The only secret we are aware is that Ken or 13 is that he was reincarnated in out world and has knowledge about but what they are we don't know as Lord Danzo would keep such secrets to himself"

A Root agent said.

"Did Danzo say what a nephalem is at least" Minato said getting nod from them.

"The nephalem are a race of hybrids born from a union of angels and demons wanting to escape there war or as they called it 'The Eternal Conflict', but the nephalem powers were far greater than there parents who sealed there powers away causing each new generation to weaken and there appearance to change till we came"

Root Agent said.

"Are you saying that we are the nephalem" Minato said getting a nod.

"Yes we are but since the Sage of Six paths spread Chakra across the world and taught us how to use it, only those born without a Chakra network can they awaken there powers and become actually nephalem"

The Root Agent said letting Minato think for moment as he remembered that Naruto didn't have the Chakra pathways.

"That might explain why Danzo went after Naruto but not Ken, clearly Ken has Chakra..." Minato said but saw several heads shaking.

"During 13 training we checked him for any serious injuries and found out he didn't have the pathways Hokage, 13 is a prodigy who awakened his abilities since he was at the Orphanage Hokage"

Root said getting a slight shock from Minato.

'Nephalem abilities seem to mimic there Chakra counterparts' Minato remembering what Inochi told about Ken and Danzo as well.

'Nephalem sons whose... power is far greater... than the fox' 'you ignored Naruto for years' 'and you left Ken... in my care for... two years' Danzo words repeating in his head and the Root agent tell him that ken already awakened his nephalem powers

'Why are you forcing me to be one' Ken words when he told Minato that he didn't want to be a Shinobi for Konoha, as the discussion with Inochi about nephalem abilities, Danzo reminding him what he did and how powerful nephalem are, all these thoughts finally leading to what might happen when the tracking party finds Ken and Naruto.

"Deer tell Shikamaru he's in charge of the Root aftermath if he asks why, tell him I going with the tracking team to find my sons before things get out of hand very quickly"

Minato said he teleported away hoping to catch up with his father and his wife before joining them with his mother who had an hour head start.
