"Now a true Elder Dragon, its black scales transcending into beautiful, iridescent glowing gold." Rage declared, before another very large monster appearing to be covered in gold was shown, letting out a gasp. "No! No." Rage shut the creature down.
Everyone looked at Katana. "Kulve Taroth. She's a HUGE Elder Dragon that lives in the Caverns of El Darado, an underground cave system filled to the brim with gold. And she coats herself in and even melts it and swims in it." Katana explained.
"So much gold." Weiss and Neo said together, Lien signs in their eyes.
"I could buy the SDC from father..." Weiss said.
"A lifetime's supply of ice cream." Neo stated.
"I worry about them." Emerald told Cinder.
"Rightly so." The half-Maiden agreed.
"Still, I wouldn't mind making some nice rings and earrings from all that gold. Neo and I could sell it in our store." Coco said.
"Shagaru Magala, then. I adore him and his fight, looking like a glowing star when wings extended in flight, he's the light to Gore's darkness, though they both kill pretty much everything. He, like his juvenile form, is incredibly powerful, but now his muscles thickened and strengthened. He's larger, faster, more aggressive, but able to wield that aggression with deadly precision, his mind developed as well and exceptionally intelligent even by Elder Dragon's near sentient standards. He will plan, he will use tactics and he will come up with the best way to savagely rip you apart." Rage declared as a hunter reached the summit of the mountain where the Shagaru was, the creature and hunter circling each other, before it flew into the sky and shined brightly with wings fully extended once more.
"Wasn't Gore aggressive enough? Why does this one have to be even worse?" Blake asked.
"Likely because, as an adult, it has to claim its own territory. Although, being even bigger and stronger than Gore, its standard aggression feels like more than enough." Ironwood theorized.
"W-what about the Virus? Does he stop making it now, since he doesn't need it for seeing, or to defend itself?" Ruby asked. Katana simply burst out laughing, everyone becoming fearful at what the implications of that meant.
"You know, you really are evil sometimes." Yang told their hostess.
"I know." Katana confirmed.
"Once he commits to combat, he is a whirlwind of destruction, overwhelming in his relentless assault. He really does feel like a monster where you're like, 'When am I supposed to attack?! I don't understand!' You have to stand your ground and you have to become a man! Or you'll be knocked around like a ragdoll, repeatedly knocked unconscious and more than likely die, you know? It's whatever." Rage explained before Shagaru landed back in front of the hunter before the fight began. The hunter was then seen leaping on Shagaru's back.
"Hey! What about a woman?! Most of these videos, we're following Aylia! She's a woman!" Nora declared.
"Yeah! Girl power!" Velvet, surprisingly, cried out, standing up along with Nora, both of them raising their fists into the air.
"It's disturbing about how casually he can talk about dying." Winter said.
"To be fair, when faced with a monster like that, I don't see many other options besides stand your ground or die." Ren defended the narrator.
"Strength now to throw himself through solid rock and cleave a hunter in twain as soon as look at him. Extra spiky protrusions grown out of him, his eyes fully open and developed, horns permanently, proudly atop his head. He is known as a god. But not just any god. He is the Punishing God of the Mountain. You see, no longer needing the Frenzy to see or as a defense mechanism, he commands it with true mastery as a devastating weapon. It will emanate out of him and he will use it to wipe the entire surrounding area for miles of all life, infecting every single creature and watching the carnage unfold and then everything goes still." Rage foretold the destruction the beast is capable of causing as the hunter, now armed with dual blades, fought against the beast, chasing after it as it leapt around the battlefield and slashing away at it while dodging most attacks, only getting hit by Frenzy-based attacks that moved in strange ways.
"No..." Ozpin gasped in horror.
"Why?! For what purpose?! What need could it possibly have for doing so?!" Glynda questioned.
"Are we sure that the God of Darkness didn't make this thing? Because it definitely sounds like his brain child." Qrow said.
"Now he creates this empty kingdom to make sure that no other Gore Magala has enough of a food source to molt into another Shagaru, to make sure that only his progeny is the next generation of Gore Magala's, releasing them out into the world. How he gives birth to them slash lays the eggs by himself- I mean, he might be a species that can reproduce without needing to, but just the idea of Shagaru Magala up in his specialized nest, laying mini Gore Magala eggs- I like that. Either way, it's a brutally devastating and efficient reproductive cycle that goes from Gore Magala all the way to Shagaru in one wake of death. It's quite ridiculous." Rage explained the reason behind this creature's monstrous behavior as the hunter continued to attack the beast that kept leaping away and firing more Frenzy attacks at the hunters, before taking to the skies.
"Killing everything... So only his children can make it to adulthood." Jaune said.
"Atrocious. This creature is a true monster, possibly even evil, especially since it has sentient-levels of intelligence. Nothing can justify the eradication of so much life." Pyrrha said, furiously.
"They must not be allowed to go that far. No creature has the right to end life at such an alarming rate. They must be stopped." Penny declared.
"With how dangerous they are, surely the guild must be on top of their population and containing their Frenzy, right?" Ren asked.
"They try, but sometimes they can only do so much. It's not like they know where every single Gore or Shagaru is out there. And they're smart, they know how to avoid people. For as hard as we try to ensure they can't complete their circle of life, they're just as determined, if not MORE so, to complete that circle." Katana declared.
"He essentially fights, then, like a Gore Magala that's permanently enraged and turned up to eleven. He's then, on top of that enraged state, ugh... pulsing with Frenzy. He'll take to the sky and come cascading down with bone-crunching assaults, he will cause explosions of Frenzy! He can decimate lesser Elder Dragons and everything else below that. Even the Apex Monsters don't wanna go anywhere near a Shagaru Magala. Only three of them have ever been discovered, two have been slain by the hunters." Rage explained as the Shagaru began to dominate the hunters by using many of the moves Rage mentioned.
"That's good. At least they're mostly on top of things." Ironwood said.
"We would need scouts patrolling any areas suitable for a Gore Magala or Shagaru to live in and constantly be on the search for them. Manufacture any forms of Dust we can to be used in place of the Wystones and create and mass produce some form of vaccine for the Frenzy Virus." Winter laid out her plan to handle the situation should the monster appear on Remnant.
"Wow. You came up with that real quick." Nora said, Weiss and Penny nodding.
"Very impressive, sister." Weiss said, smiling at her sister, who patted her head.
"You see, slaying a Shagaru is of utmost importance, for he is a crisis situation. He won't stop at just a few miles of dead, deserted land. No, it will keep going, he will spread, his Gore Magala's will spread, the virus ever-transferring and causing despair. It will permeate the very land, infusing the ground, the trees, the air with Frenzy. This Frenzy will never go away, turning the area akin to nuclear wasteland where none must enter and the only way to remove this infection is to slay the Shagaru responsible for generating it. And as such, the hunters... Well, off they go to face a god." Rage declared as epic music began to play as the hunter chased after the rampaging Shagaru as in stampeded towards him and laid frenzy mines all around the battlefield, as well as showing off its armor, which was quite impressive.
"Oh, yeah! Take that thing down!" Neo declared.
"You can't let that thing keep doing what it's doing!" Emerald said.
"I wish I could shoot fire through the screen and fry that thing right now." Cinder growled.
"I would like to join you in eliminating that creature as well. I am on the side of life. Shagaru isn't." Penny said.
"Okay, seriously! Have Orion or Vein been breaking in and showing you guys stuff when I'm not in the room. If they are, I swear to the multiverse..." Katana grumbled, planning just how to catch and interrogate her friends for the RWBY cast using quotes or describing scenes they haven't seen yet. [1]
"The final stop on this tale of darkness is Chaotic Gore Magala: a horrific hybrid twixt Shagaru and its younger form." Rage explained as a new hunter in all black armor with a golden lance stood beside a half black, half golden Gore Magala, which roared in rage. "When a Gore Magala is molting, but is interrupted, the stress induced enters it into this agonizing limbo, in between state, where it will burn itself out in a frenzy- quite literally a Frenzy. It's like somebody pressed B as if it was evolving. It has one half patterned with glittering gold, enlarged its wing and claw arm, the other half smaller, more regular Gore, its head meeting in the middle, brain torn between its two halves, its two drives! One, a proper horn, one eye large and overdeveloped, the other still a feeler, the other eye tiny and almost blind." He elaborated as the Gore Magala attacked somehow even more savagely than its other counterparts, spewing Frenzy wildly and trying to slam down on the hunter and his teammates.
"I can't imagine a worse fate. It must be panicking in that state. With two different brains, there's no way it can process what's going on." Blake said.
"That's why I NEVER press B when my Pinchermon are evolving." Ruby declared.
Yang rolled her eyes. "You know that's not gonna happen in the game." She told her sister.
"Do I, Yang? Do I!?" Ruby demanded.
"Yes." Yang, Jaune and Winter told her.
"I reserve the right to have believe what I want when it comes to denying something's evolution." Ruby said.
"In this state, it loses all semblance of control over the Frenzy, that it cannot help but secrete. It will then immediately infect itself, gaining all the benefits, but this time, also the negatives. It will die eventually in this state, but it will cause absolute mayhem in the meanwhile and needs to be put down. A Gore Magala's Frenzy state is a powerful thing, essentially their enraged, where they start using their wing arms to deadly effect, entering almost a six-legged mode and start to really work those extra blades with deadly efficiency." Rage went into detail on the even sadder aspects of this Gore Magala as the fight raged on, the beast slamming down and breathing out explosions of Frenzy, before a hunter mounted it.
"I don't know whether to feel bad for it or be even more terrified." Jaune said.
"I feel bad for it." Velvet said.
"Can't say I feel the same." Coco admitted.
"I'd say it's better to feel for the beast, but... I find it quite hard to do so, given the destruction it can cause." Ozpin said.
"To me, it just seems like one more reason to put it down as fast as you can. So you can end both its suffering and the suffering it causes, all at once." Ren stated.
"Chaotic Gore Magala's then are... well, quite the freak of nature. Imagine half molting! Imagine a caterpillar becoming half-butterfly, half-caterpillar, it really is something that should not be. It's also classed as a triple question mark, they just looked at it and went 'I don't know! Look at that thing! What?! How?!' And that really is all there is to it: a sad, sad Gore Magala in pain, infected by its own Frenzy and unable to do anything but mindlessly destroy, still spreading the Frenzy, but like any poor infected monster. It's definitely more aggressive, but its sloppier, it missteps, it's a little bit all over the place, it's not got full control over its body. It's reckless, it will overextend. It's essentially just a brawler with nothing to lose." Rage finished his piece on the final member of the Magala's as the hunters managed to press on and brought the beast to its side, landing countless hits and finished it off.
"The poor thing." Pyrrha said sadly.
"Nothing should live with that kind of pain." Ruby agreed.
"Without its proper control, this thing might be even more dangerous than Shagaru. It has to be put down." Ironwood declared.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but... I'm with you on that one, Jimmy. You ever see one of those things, we're going on a hunting trip." Qrow said.
"I'd welcome the help. Know that I'd come to aid you if you encountered one as well." Ironwood stated.
"It's incredible how mutual hatred can bring people together." Glynda said, a bit surprised the former drunk and the general were actually on the same page for once.
"I'm just wondering how it can be classified as three question marks? Isn't that what the Elder Dragon class is for, for when something doesn't fit into any other class?" Emerald asked, everyone else shrugging.
"So, thoughts?" Katana asked.
"Terrifying!" Team RWBY cried out together, hugging each other fearfully.
"That Virus just should not exist." Jaune said, the rest of his team nodding as they, too, were huddled together, embracing each other.
"I have calculated the odds. Life would simply be unsustainable on Remnant with those creatures around." Penny said, clinging to Winter a bit, who stroked her hair.
"Yeah, I'd be perfectly fine never seeing one of those again." Emerald agreed as she and Neo hid behind Cinder, who was holding her flaming hands towards the screen, as if preparing to ward off a Gore Magala if it jumped through the projection.
"That thing might as well be Salem in monster form." Cinder declared.
"I just realized something. Most of these monsters are like animals right?" Ren asked, sounding a bit nervous.
"Yes." Pyrrha confirmed, wondering where her teammate was going with this.
"And the virus makes them go rabid and kill everything in sight, including cannibalizing their own kind." Ren continued, nervousness turning to dread.
"Yeah..." Weiss admitted, starting to become nervous as well for what Ren was thinking.
"Wouldn't that mean since Faunus have the characteristics of animals, they might go crazy and be just as vicious if they caught the frenzy virus?" Ren asked, dread now turned to fear.
Both Faunus in the room froze stiff, as they saw flashes of their kind rampaging through the streets with glowing red eyes and snarling teeth like mad dogs. And they were not the only ones thinking this. "Dear god... Tyrian infected with the virus..." Cinder said in horror.
"Katana, under NO circumstance will you send ANY Gore Magala's to Remnant. If Salem ever got her hands on one, there's no telling how much chaos she could cause with it's disease." Ozpin told her.
"Not to mention if Faunus do suffer the same effects and go on a rampage, all the fear and panic from the massacre will bring in every Grimm in the surrounding area." Winter added.
"Don't worry Gore Magala isn't even on the list of monster's I plan of giving Remnant. If anything it's Salem's ideal monster which is all the more reason not to send it there." Katana assured them.
"So, then. I believe it is Miss Scarlatina's monster next?" Glynda asked, hoping it would be a cute or peaceful monster as a nice break from the terror they had just seen.
"Right. Okay then, everyone! Prepare yourself for the Wyvern of a thousand blades. Seregios." Katana said, playing the next episode.
A/N: Thank you for reading as always! I hope you enjoyed. This one was tough for me and qazse, both in how long it is compared to many others and the fact Rage talks SO MUCH about how Gore/Shagaru effect the game, the game mechanics surrounding them and the story of the game itself, which you guys know I'm trying to avoid. Luckily, the next three videos are some of the shortest ones, so they won't take me nearly as long or be nearly as long.
Now, as for the next monster, I know what you're thinking: Seregios? For VELVET?! Well, I was originally going to give her Lagombi but, besides being the basic, obvious answer, qazse informed me that Lagombi will die of heatstroke anywhere outside the tundra, that wouldn't work. My friend and I thought it would be ironic to give her Malfestio, bird of prey that usually eats rabbits, but then I brought Emerald in and gave her Malfestio, so Seregios was the next best bird of prey I could think of.
