A/N: As always, thanks to my good friend qazse for help with scripting and reactions.

"I'm getting the scary spiky one?" Velvet asked, a bit fearfully.

"Well, not so much spiky as covered in hundreds of blades, but yes." Katana confirmed.

"Wouldn't something a little nicer and softer be better?" Coco asked, concerned for her partner.

"She's already nice and soft enough. She needs a bruiser by her side so people like Cardin will never even think of attacking her. And I think this one in particular might just give you a few things to think about, Velvet." Katana explained.

"Well, I guess if you say so..." Velvet said with a bit of hesitation.

"I wanna see it! It looks so cool covered in sharp things!" Ruby cheered.

"Yeah, let's do it!" Yang agreed.

"Maybe I could get some ideas from this, too, about new weapons I could make with my semblance." Cinder pondered.

"Well, it looks like everyone's in agreement. Let's do this!" Katana declared.

A familiar scene was shown where the hunters exploring an abandoned forest gathered together, before one of them was snatched away with a scream as Rage's voice echoed out ominously. "A bladed terror soaked in blood, claiming an empire of corpses. Only one thing goes through a hunter's mind when faced with the screaming fury... STEVE!" Rage declared as the taken hunter was thrown back at the feet of the others.

A girl was then heard singing for some reason. "~Thought there was a chance we'd be alone!. I could've wished a thousand wishes, for Steve to disappear! What the fuck's your fucking problem!? Why's he always here! Do-do-do-DO-do-do-do- Steve! Do-do-do-DO-do-do-do- Go away! What's the deal with your friend Steve- oh, hey! How's it going~?!" She sang as two of the hunters took the now injured one away to safety as the leader told them to run while he would stall for time and as he said this, the beast landed behind him.

Nora broke out laughing at this. "That's so good! Take that, Steve! Bet you won't always be there now!" She declared.

"Why would anyone have a problem with Steve? It's a pretty name." Ruby asked in confusion, but also with a slight pout, offended someone would make fun of someone's name like that.

Pyrrha blushed, likely thinking she knew why the singer had hostility towards this "Steve" character. "I think I know why she's a bit... upset with Steve." She admitted.

"Stupid third wheels, cutting into romance times..." Blake grumbled under her breath.

"Oh yes, fellow hunters! Welcome today as we explore this bloodthirsty stalker, Steve! Or, I guess his birth name, Seregios." Rage explained as face hidden in the fog of Frenzy Virus, only red eyes glowing, before it raised its head, exposing its face as it roared in fury, the scales around his neck rattling as he did so.

Everyone flinched as the Frenzied beast roared and those razor-sharp scales rattled. Especially Velvet, who leapt behind the couch, fearfully peeking up after a few moments. "I-I had a Charlie Horse." She explained.

"So, why does he keep referring to this fierce, dangerous creature as Steve, perhaps the least threatening name I've ever heard?" Ironwood questioned.

"Well, legends say that when the first expedition team went out and discovered Seregios, since they were out in the middle of the field and got attacked by this thing out of nowhere, they didn't have time to sit down and come up with a name for it, so the hunter decided to call it Steve for the time being." Katana explained. [1]

"That's gotta suck for anyone named Steve, to be compared to that thing!" Neo laughed.

"Unless he's a real SHARP guy!" Yang laughed as everyone except Neo groaned.

"He then, is the first winged invader. He was told to dress sharply and, bless him, took it literally. Coated in bladed scales, adorned with a bladed horn, bladed feet, bladed claws, bladed teeth and bladed jaws, he... essentially, the walking definition of a close shave. A psychopathic murder pine cone that spends his time flying to various zones, knocking on the door and going-" Rage started, before the noise of someone knocking on a door was heard, followed by the door opening, followed by the roar of a monster. "'Hi! Is there anything alive here that could... not be?'" He asked as if he was supposed to be the monster, all the while a Huntress was seen stealthily observing a Rathian in the desert at night as the Queen of the Land laid down to rest, before a Seregios suddenly descended upon the other monster and attacked it, landing on its back, clawing and biting, forcing the Rathian to get up and throw the smaller Wyvern off of it.

"Dang Bun-Bun, your monster is armed to the teeth." Coco commented.

"That's pretty cool, though. All those spikes and that horn. How are you even supposed to get near it?" Jaune asked.

"I think that's the point, Jaune. I'm assuming the scales and, well... every part of its body is used for offense, but it also worked defensively, as it's impossible to physically attack the beast without touching and getting shredded by its scales and other sharp parts." Ren stated.

"That would be a very useful adaptation." Winter agreed.

"His speciality is bleeding you like a stuck pig, causing your precious life force to ooze out of every pore as he dances 'round you with some of the most dexterous fine flying control known to all monster kind. Death by a thousand cuts, eventually... you feel faint, the last drop you can afford to lose splashes against the cold ground and..." Rage ominously told of the monsters modus operandi, before a loud thud was heard, suggested to be the victim of this assault collapsing. "You return to the Earth and become his next meal." He declared as the Seregios lunged at the Rathian, who managed to dodge the attack and shoot several fireballs the Seregios easily avoided, even destroying the Huntress' cover and forcing her to roll away. The Seregios then slashed at the Rathian and injured it, forcing it to abandon the fight, the Seregios briefly following after it and roaring at it, before turning back and seeing the Huntress.

Qrow shivered. "That's a pretty popular tactic among the bandits of my old tribe." He said.

"It's brutal, but you cannot deny its effectiveness." Glynda agreed.

"It makes sense, as you lose more blood, you naturally become slower, woozy and it becomes difficult to stay conscious." Ozpin agreed.

"Definitely not the way I want to go." Weiss said in concern.

"Aggressive, territorial to the point of cannibalism, skilled combatants and, as a species, collectively a huge fan of the Predator's main protagonist, Dutch." Rage declared as a clip of what could only be an apex Seregios, radiating with Frenzy Virus, glaring at a hunter with a smaller dead Seregios between them.

Suddenly, a clip from a movie was shown of a familiar actor looking back at his men. "If it bleeds, we can kill it." He declared.

"Oh, those action movies are so corny, but I can't help but love them." Cinder sighed. Mercury made them all sit down and watch a bunch of them one day, so Cinder couldn't help but eventually get into them.

"Until Mercury spent the next week quoting the movies at the dumbest times." Emerald groaned.

"Ugh. I remember that. He kept using a bunch of them in that one sparring session Ms. Goodwitch had us do. I had to shut him up." Blake said, smirking at the memory of how she shut him up, by driving her foot between his legs.

"A single Seregios is bad news, though fortunately uncommon, not native to any of the Old World environments, only rarely must a hunter test themselves against this relentless beast. HOWEVER! Bad news came when an entire flock of Seregios was seen descending on the Old World, displaced from their usual habitat and forced to become a plague of locust-like species, raining terror across the natural world, decimating ecosystems and slaughtering wildlife as each of the hundreds of Seregios claimed territory and fought for control of this strange new land." Rage explained the events that would be known as the Seregios invasion as a familiar clip was shown of the desert while countless Seregios could be seen flying over it as a hunter and his Palico could only watch in panic and confusion, before another hunter was seen doing battle with a Seregios in a volcanic region as the beast roared and flared its scales out, before swinging its head and sending them flying at the hunter.

"What could possibly send a group of creatures as powerful and dangerous as them away from their natural home?" Ren wondered.

"You know when it flares its scale like that it looks like a pinecone." Penny admitted, trying to hold back a giggle.

"That does make it kind of cute." Velvet admits with a small smile, starting to like the beast despite its many, MANY intimidating characteristics.

"And it can shoot out its scales like throwing knives! That is so cool!" Ruby shrieked excitedly, bouncing in her seat as Cinder tried to hold her still. A task she was unsuccessful in.

"Maybe I should consider using throwing knives, or just have a constant secondary weapon as back up for my camera." Velvet thought. There were certainly a few close calls if she didn't have enough pictures for a serious fight. One of the reasons their away mission took so long was because she had ran out of pictures and could only take pictures of her teammates weapons, which didn't last very long.

"But what could have caused such a disaster? Well, you remember Gore Magala?" Rage asked as the fight between the hunter and the Seregios in the volcano continued.

"How ya doin'?" Rage spoke in a deep voice with an ominous echo, meant to sound like Gore Magala as a still image of the creature descended from the top to the bottom of the screen, before descending off of it.

"Oh, gods! Not him again!" Yang and Weiss cried out, looking at each other in surprise, before giggling.

"Just like when we first met... Well, second met." Yang said.

"Yes, that was a fun coincidence. Thank goodness we learned to deal with each other." Weiss added.

"Weiss, were you being rude to everyone when you first got to Beacon?" Winter questioned, Weiss gulping.

"Still, if it involves Gore Magala, then this can't be good." Glynda said.

"He is the master of the plague-like, apocalyptic Frenzy Virus that sends monsters into, well... a Frenzy, forcing themselves to essentially burn out and die after a few days of wanton rampage and murder. Very rarely, a monster then, infected with the Frenzy Virus will master it, take on the increased strength, size, speed and aggression while shedding all of the weaknesses. A monster that has achieved this states is known as an apex monster. Well, somewhat by chance, a Seregios was infected in their natural habitat that they shared with many of their kind and he became an Apex. Already an incessantly aggressive species, pushed over the edge with this mind-altering affliction and now blessed with the power to dominate his kin... Well, dominate he did." Rage declared as a Seregios was shown being attacked by something at different angles, before hunter was shown as he snuck up on a Seregios that was revealed to be the Apex Seregios, overflowing with the fog of Frenzy Virus, with a dead Seregios between them. The apex then picked up its dead kin, hurling it at the hunter, who dodged, before the Apex landed in front of his face and roared.

"Now's probably the time to get out of there, buddy!" Neo cried out.

"Run, dude, run!" Jaune cried out.

"I'm sure he's more than capable of fighting this beast if he believes in himself and keeps his wits about him." Pyrrha assured them.

"Pyrrha is right! With enough determination, people can accomplish anything!" Penny said determinedly.

As the apex roared, the screen froze with the sound of a record scratching, before a heartbeat could be heard pumping loudly. "~Fuck this shit I'm out! Mmm-mmm! Fuck this shit I'm out! No thanks! Don't mind me, I'mma just grab my stuff and leave~!" A man sang as the dozens of Seregios could be seen flying over mountain territories and away from what looked to be a lush jungle-like area.

Yang, Neo, Nora and Coco burst out laughing at the music. "That's hilarious!" Yang cried out.

"We should do that next time we run into a Grimm!" Nora laughed.

"Or some perv trying to hit on us." Coco said, receiving a high five from the girls.

Glynda and Winter scoffed at the song. "Such vulgarity and nonsense." Glynda said.

"Agreed. Even if a situation calls for a retreat, nothing calls for that." Winter agreed.

"He decimated the Seregios population, forcing the survivors to flee to greener pastures, leaving the Apex Seregios to rule over his mountain of bone for miles around. Thanks, Gore Magala." Rage said sarcastically, before a clip of Gore roaring was shown with an evil chuckle, making it seem like the dragon was laughing at the chaos and destruction it caused.

"You monster!" Ruby, Penny, Nora, Neo and Velvet all shouted at the pre-Elder Dragon as they glared at it.

"It is literally a monster, but that just proves even more so why we can never allow one on Remnant with how far-reaching its damage is. One simple Apex Seregios drove off all the others and caused them to be a massive problem all over the Old World. It could throw the entire world out of sync." Ironwood declared.

"Indeed. I don't even believe Salem has caused quite that much havoc all at once before." Ozpin said.

"At least until the Fall of Beacon, but hopefully that won't happen now." Emerald stated.

"So then, as they are considered an invasive species... Well, they started popping up in every. Single. bloody hunt any hunter went on. It was-" Rage began, before sighing in annoyance. "Look, Seregios at first was a badass, absolutely sleek in his appearance, unlike anything before: erratic, unpredictable and just an all 'round heart-pounding, fast-paced fight that is incredibly satisfying to come out on top. You really have to dance the dance, react quickly, counter and be prepared for the next move as you desperately hope not to put a foot wrong and start having blood pour out of various holes freshly punctured all over your body." Rage explained as the hunter fought the Seregios in a volcanic region, dodging its wild spins, jumping and flying claw attacks and its scaled being repeatedly flung at him and charging attacks or jabbing its horn at him.

"So, it's like fighting Short Stack here?" Yang asked, ruffling Neo's hair.

"I take pride in that, thank you very much. It certainly worked against you on the train." Neo countered.

"Whoa! Shots fired!" Nora declared.

"I was fighting monsters all day and barely slept!" Yang countered.

"Hey, you might be right, firecracker, but excuses aren't always gonna be good enough to save you." Qrow warned her.

"But it is a pretty cool way to fight." Velvet stated.

"But, like all invader monsters that show up to essentially just fuck with your shit, ya get tired of them, ya bring the dung pods out and you're just like 'leave me aloooooone pleeease'. Happened with Jho, happened with B-52, though admittedly, I do love all three objectively as the creatures that they are." Rage groaned as the hunter kept up the fight, dodging its blades scales whipped at it from head and tail, as well as it raking its claws at him during a flying attack.

Everyone was silent, trying to process this, before Cinder spoke. "...Tell me he didn't just say dung pod." She groaned.

"And tell me it's not what I-" Winter pleaded, but was interrupted.

"It's exactly what you think it is. A compressed ball of monster crap that's fired from a sling to repel monsters away with its odor. It doesn't get every monster to leave, but it does work on some." Katana answered.

"Groooooooosss!" All of the students cried out. Even the adults cringed at this.

"Yes I know it is, but if it repels monsters away, especially if you're fighting multiple ones at once, then it's an effective tool." Katana explained.

"Yeah but only on monsters. I mean I doubt throwing crap would get any grim to leave." Qrow said.

"Actually that's a good question, can Grimm be bothered by odor?" Ruby wondered.

"So as the creature that it is, then... We kinda briefly forayed into it, but he is coated in these bladed scales, able to stand erect and shake in a display of aggression and intimidation. It is his signifier of-" Rage began, before cutting away from him.

The Apex Seregios was then shown very cup close as it roared again. "Oh! Now you fucked up!" A man's voice declared, again meant to speak for the monster before its epic theme music kicked in while the hunter was shown fighting the Seregios in the volcano one last time, before a new hunter now fought against another Seregios in the desert.

"As much as it may appear like a pinecone, seeing those spikes fully extended and at the ready is quite intimidating when you remember, those are all incredibly sharp scales that can puncture through rocks and even pierce into thick, metal shields." Ozpin said.

"It would probably do us well to upgrade the glass of the Paladin's cockpits." Ironwood told Penny and Winter.

"Excellent idea, general." Winter agreed.

"And then his rage mode REALLY gets underway. But to put it in perspective oh how effective a both offensive and defensive mechanism a Seregios' scales have evolved to be... Imagine a hedgehog, right? It's got a coat of spines, they're prickly to the touch, they kinda make you be all like 'Ow! I don't wanna touch that anymore!' And then you move on, looking for easier prey. Well, a Seregios is kinda like that, except his coat of spines are all like 6-inch daggers! It's not something you wanna get near, really. And this sharpness is represented in everything that he does. His weapons actually self-sharpen if you roll enough times while having them unsheathed. It was an exploration of sharpness that was really interesting. His weapons were quite the hit, I used his greatsword for a long, long time." Rage mentioned as the hunter in the desert dodged and blocked the Seregios' attacks as it too, fired a large number of scales at him.

"Self-sharpening!? Awesome! Even Crescent Rose can't do that!" Ruby said in amazement.

"Very nice. That would really save me from having to make weapons and glass shards out of sand and other kinds of dirt." Cinder stated.

"Indeed, that makes them very resourceful. Weapons should be kept in their top form at all time, so to simply keep them that way by rolling is quite impressive." Glynda said.

"He can also fire these scales out, turning them into lethal projectiles. Able to puncture into rock quite comfortably, they do a lot worse to fleshy flesh encased in oh, so brittle armor. There are few fates worse than becoming a Seregios' pincushion." Rage declared ominously as the Seregios charged the hunter who blocked the many scales slamming into his shield and jabbing the beast with his lance.

"The only fate that might be worse is being Salem's plaything." Ozpin said with a shudder. In his life directly after the one where they had children, he attempted to fight her again, only to lose soundly and for her to slowly torture him to death.

"Salem's told us stories. It might not be painless, but at least a Seregios will try to finish you quickly." Emerald said.

"Still, I think there's plenty of ways I'd rather go before getting ripped to shred." Coco declared.

"Seregios then, are absolutely fearless hunters. Wielding a bloodthirsty force that just savages prey before they even have time to register the attack. They are quick, they are agile and they are some of the most impressively skilled flyers of all monsters. Able to outmatch the king of the skies himself in aerial combat, he is only even approached by the likes of Astalos and their dragonfly-like prowess. He is small and he doesn't have the kind of bulk that a lot of monsters in his apex tier possess, but he more than makes up for it by essentially being a living blade, screaming through the air. They're also incredibly adaptable creatures, taking to any environment and calling it their home." Rage went into detail about the advantages Seregios has over other creatures as the desert was shown again in the day, a blue-colored Rathalos being seen to a Huntress' left as she stepped out from behind a rock, before seeing a Seregios, before the beasts took to the sky and battled it out, with the Seregios clearly winning the fight despite its smaller size.

"That's quite impressive. But also concerning that all areas of Remnant may have to worry about them." Ironwood said.

"Well, if they were rare and only stuck to one area in their world, it would stand to reason that it would be the same on Remnant, assuming we have a similar region, which surely we must." Glynda said.

"So, why is that thing called the king of the sky if AT LEAST two creatures are capable of defeating it?" Weiss questioned.

"So, if a Seregios can be the king of the sky, that would make Bun-Bun it's little princess." Coco said, causing Velvet to blush massively.

"Seregios, as I said earlier, do cannibalize, regularly snuffing out smaller, weaker members of their species, lest they grow stronger and challenge them in the future, the bigger Seregios, the more territory it requires to call its own. Another reason the Apex one was such a problem. They mark their territory with their bladed scales, leaving them as a grim portent of who owns the area that some unlucky sod is about to walk into, blissfully unaware of the incoming fury." Rage stated as the hunter was knocked down and clawed at viciously by Seregios' feet.

"Why would they do that? That's so messed up!" Jaune said, turning a bit green.

"It's nature, kid. It gets pretty messed up sometimes. The strong live and the weak die." Qrow repeated his sister's mantra.

"I mean, can't they just beat them and let them go?" Nora asked.

"I doubt it, Nora. It's like Rage said, the loser would likely return when its larger and stronger." Pyrrha told her.

"Their bladed horn then, able to do some, as you might imagine, grievous damage when employed with surgeon-esque precision, leaving great cuts and gouges in any that are foolish enough to have a go. Believe it or not, one of their most fascinating traits are actually their feet. Unique in their form, compared to other Flying Wyverns, they are what's known as 'Zygodactyl' feet, which is the same structure as that of a parrot, two at the front, two at the back, able to grasp and tear." Rage explained as the word Zygodactyl was shown, before showing off a lovely white cockatiel as it nibbled at its feet. "This allows them to effectively grasp both object and prey and be irritating assholes. That actually applies to both Seregios AND the parrots." Rage said, before a clip was shown of a cockatiel screeching into some kind of lid or cup, making its screech even louder.

Ruby giggled at the bird's antics. "Aww I love parrots. While a little noisy but they are natures little jokesters." She gushed over the playful bird.

"I wanted one as well, but my father said that it would likely mess up his workshop or get electrocuted by something." Penny said.

"It's cool to know what exactly that type of foot is called on a bird, though. I know there's many different kinds, so it's good to know names to tell them apart." Ren said.

"GOD, I WANT A PARROT!" Rage declared loudly, before a clip of a cockatiel trying to start a fight with an owl was shown while the nocturnal bird refused to acknowledge the other one.

Coco couldn't help but snicker. "That owls probably thinking 'Go away!'." She said.

Blake leaned close to Weiss. "You know that's Ren and Nora sometimes." She stated, making the heiress giggle.

"Or Mercury and I all the time." Emerald added, getting some bigger giggles.

"A Seregios will grasp its toes around a victim and then carry it off to the nest to eat, or- well... use it as ranged ammunition to begin the fight with a new opponent. Their whole MO, then is: act quickly, give no time for pause and use their entire bladed body from head to toe in a flurry of unpredictable movement, designed to shred enemies to ribbons before they can even react. Essentially, imagine fight a wacky, inflatable tube man-" Rage began as the hunter miraculously got up from Seregios tearing at him with its claws.

Suddenly, a clip of one of the silly inflatable tube men seen outside of car dealerships was shown. "Wacky, wave-able, inflatable arm-flailing tube man!" A voice declared as the blue tube man indeed flailed wildly.

Ruby giggled while Yang groaned. "I always hated those things. I remember when we bough Zippy, dad pretended to fight one of those." Yang said.

"I just pretended I didn't know them and I was looking on my own." Qrow laughed.

"Good idea." Winter agreed.

The fight was then shown again in a new area of the desert. "And razor blades have been fixed to every part of its body. That is how a Seregios do. And they do it oh so well." Rage finished the explanation on just how the Seregios aims to destroy its opponent as it tried its various methods on the hunter.

"Yikes! I don't think Dad would've had a good time fighting one like that." Ruby stated.

"I don't think anyone would." Cinder assured her.

"Still, as far as strategies go, when you're covered in blades like that, you can't say it isn't effective." Glynda said.

"So eventually, the hunters managed to calm down the situation, taking out great swaths of Seregios and the Apex one itself, allowing them to go home in great numbers and restore some natural balance to the Old World. But the memory of the Great Seregios War is not one that is soon forgotten. Essentially the whole Seregios thing, is the monster's equivalent of the Great Emu War but like, a lot less lame and embarrassing." Rage laughed as the hunter and Seregios still tried to fight each other, but two strange creatures that looked like hammerhead sharks with legs slid across the sand and attacked both of them as well.

"Great emu war?" Ren asked.

"Don't ask." Katana groaned.

"That just makes me want to ask more." Nora said.

"Curiosity killed the... never mind." Neo began, before noticing Blake glaring at her.

"So, that's what I got for you on the Blade Scale Wyvern. He really is his own creature and I for one am a big fan of everything he is about." Rage finished his tale about the original flying invader as, in one final move, the Seregios jumped back and fired scales from its neck, killing the two walking hammerheads as the hunter rolled to dodge the attack, before everything went black.

"I can't explain why, but I love seeing it's scales shake every time it roars. Gives the same unnerving feeling of a rattlesnakes tail." Glynda noted.

"Its scales are so cool, but at the same time I wish they weren't so sharp. How am I going to pet Velvet's Seregios without cutting myself?" Ruby asked.

"Ruby, these are vicious and dangerous monsters, not petting zoo animals." Blake reminded her leader.

"Well, it is possible to put them. This girl does it here. And you can even ride them... With a saddle of course." Katana said, showing them a clip of a girl and boy hatching monster eggs, one of which reveals a Seregios, which the girl begins to pet and give affection to. [2]

"Cuuuute!" Ruby, Weiss, Yang, Neo and Nora all declared.

"I want them!" Nora cried out.

"Katana! Will we be getting the baby versions?!" Ruby asked hopefully.

"You'll be getting the fully-grown versions, but I've got a surprise that I think you'll like." Katana assured her.

"Still, those things are pretty cool. I wouldn't mind one of them myself." Qrow said.

"They certainly are very versatile creatures." Winter agreed.

"Their aggression may be a bit concerning, but if they're truly like any other animal, they can be taught to dial down their aggression." Ironwood noted.

"Well, let's ask the girl who's getting the monster. Velvet, what do you think?" Coco asked, but received no response. "Vel?" She asked.

Everyone turned to Velvet as she began to imagine herself with the Wyvern of A Thousand Blades.

Dream Sequence...

Velvet pictured herself happily skipping through the halls, before bumping into someone and falling onto her butt. "Oh, sorry! I didn't see you there-!" She began, but gasped in shock when she realized it was Cardin and the rest of team CRDL.

"Well, you've got a lot of nerve, there, bumping into me like that, rodent girl!" Cardin snapped.

"A-actually, rabbits aren't rodents. It's a common misconception-" She began nervously. [3]

"And now she's correcting me! This animal thinks she knows better than me!" He shouted angrily.

"Get her, Cardin!" Sky larked. [4]

"Yeah! Rip those ears right off! Then she won't be a freak anymore!" Dove taunted.

"Once a freak, always a freak! But without them, she won't be an eyesore anymore!" Russel laughed.

"You heard the boys! Time for you to pay!" Cardin declared, reaching for her.

Velvet closed her eyes and prepared for pain. Suddenly, a familiar roar filled the air, accompanied by the sound of small, but fast object swishing through the air, then the sound of several THUNKS! As if something just hit a wall, alongside the sound of several squeals of fear. Velvet then felt a huge just of air behind her, accompanied by a comforting presence. She opened her eyes to see her Seregios protectively standing over her, its wings folded in front of her like shields. She looked over them and saw the team of bullies cartoonishly tacked to the nearest wall.

She immediately laughed and jumped up in happiness. "I love you!" She declared happily, hugging the bladed beast. After she hugged her Seregios it cooed like a pigeon, almost like it was purring.

End Dream Sequence...

Velvet smiled at the dream, before coming back to reality and seeing everyone's eyes were on her. "What? Oh! I-I really liked it! I thought it was cool and it gave me second thoughts on carrying a main weapon besides my camera! I'd love to have one!" She answered frantically.

Everyone looked a bit confused, but accepted the answer. "Well, okay then. So, who's monster are we seeing next?" Katana asked.

"That one's easy." Velvet said, turning to her team leader. "Coco's." She answered.

"Aww, thanks, Bun-Bun!" Coco said happily, kissing the bunny girl's forehead.

"So, Coco... What are your top 3 favorite clothing materials?" Katana asked.

"Oh, definitely silk, satin and snakeskin." Coco answered.

"Alright, then! I think I've got something that fits with that. Prepare yourselves for... Najarala!" Katana declared, starting the next episode.

A/N: Thanks for reading! As always, I hope you enjoyed it! So, I know Najarala might be a little out there, but not many monsters really fit Coco, so I thought what monsters could make good fashion, then I thought snakeskin and that led to Najarala. Besides, it's just an awesome monster I want in the group.

BUT! It is now audience participation time! We are coming quite close to the Remnant crew getting their monsters, a mere 5 have not yet seen their monsters. So, now I think it's important to start coming up with names for the monsters once they get them! And, since this might effect the naming process, which gender you believe the monsters without set genders (like Lunastra) should be! Leave your ideas in the reviews and whichever ones I like best will appear in the story!

[1] Actually, the real is answer is: apparently, during some sort of press event they had a clip of Seregios played in a trailer (before his name was revealed) and somebody asked what the name of that new monster was and the presenter answered that his name was "Steve".

[2] Video title: Monster Hunter Stories Ride On EP 51 [ New Life ]

[3] I actually looked this up. Apparently, rabbits are not rodents. To pull from the direct piece I read: "rabbits differ from rodents in having an extra pair of incisors and in other skeletal features".

[4] Lark/Larked can also mean to joke. It's wordplay!
