After getting Natalia off to school, Emily started to clean the house. It was her only day off and she was going to take advantage of it while her daughter was at school. She turned up some music and started to sweep and mop the floors.

After she got done, she walked up the stairs and headed for her bedroom. She ripped she sheets off of her bed and put them in a pile on the floor. She then placed her dirty clothes hamper right next to the pile of sheets and took a deep breath.

She then headed for the bathroom and she pulled out some things from underneath the sink. She paused for a second when she noticed the full box of tampons. She took straight up and thought of when the last time she had her period. She put her hand over her mouth and gasped.

She then realized when the last Tim she had her period.

"SHIT" she exclaimed. She then grabbed her coat that was hanging and ran down the stairs. She put on her shoes, grabbed her keys and headed out the door.

As she was driving off, she couldn't remember If she had locked her front door but that was the last thing that was on her mind.

When she arrived at the store, she got out and headed for the pregnancy test aisle.

She was nervous and also kind of scared. It's not everyday that you have your old crush's kid but also your boss' baby.

She wanted to cry but she knew that she didn't want to break down in the middle of the store. She grabbed what she needed, paid at the counter, and headed home. While she was on her way home, she sent JJ a quick text. She heard her phone go off and saw that JJ said that she was on her way.

When she got home, she sprinted up the stairs instead of using the elevators.

Surprisingly she did lock the door. She struggle to get the door open but when she finally let herself in, she took her coat off and placed her keys and purse on the table.

She took the brown paper bag that was sitting on the table and headed up the stairs.

As she was halfway up the stairs, she heard a knock at the door. She turned around and headed for the door. She saw that it was JJ and opened the door for her.

"Em. Whats going on. You texted mw 911. Is everything okay?"

"No. come in." JJ came in and shut the door behind her.

"Whats going on. Is Natalia okay?"

"Yeah she's fine. She's at school, but I have another problem."

"What kind on problem." she then glanced down at Emily's hands.

"Whats in your hand Em?" Emily handed her the bag. JJ looked inside and gave her a look. She was shocked to say the least.

"Emily... when. .. how.. we've been on cases like crazy. when did this happen. or when did you have time too. Why didn't you tell me that you were seeing someone."

"JJ slow down. Im not seeing anyone. I just, that night that I got really drunk and I went home with someone. I really don't remember who but I know I did something the next morning."

"Wait I thought Hotch was supposed to take you home that night."

"He was supposed too, but he didn't. " she lied

"Oh my god. Emily.:"

"Listen JJ. I don't know for sure but I'm late. like really late and I'm scared."

"okay. come on Em. Let's go upstairs. "

After they went upstairs, Emily went into the bathroom and JJ waited sitting on her bed. She noticed that Emily was cleaning before since everything was piled up on the floor.

When Emily came out, she looked at JJ.

"How long do you have to wait?"

"3 minutes. "

"If this is positive, "

"if this is positive, I obviously have to tell the father and then I just go through with the pregnancy. The thought of another kid makes me excited but it also makes me kind of want to puke. I love Natalia with every bone in my body but I never thought that I would have another kid."

"You're not alone Em. You have me and the rest of the team. We're a family now and you and Natalia will never be alone. This is exciting Em. I know that this sent how you wanted to bring another child into the world, but look how amazing you did with Natalia. That kid is polite, smart, funny, and so many more things. Thats because of you. You did an amazing job with her and I think that if this is positive, you will be the best mother you can be. "

"Thanks JJ. You have no idea how much you talking me through this means. "

"No problem, Em. Thats what Family does. "

The alarm went off. Emily got up and walked back into the bathroom. She grabbed the test and walked out back where JJ was.

"Well?" JJ asked standing up and walking towards her.

"Positive. "

JJ gave Emily a hug. Emily started to cry into JJ's arms.

JJ was about to say something when she heard both of their phones go off.

"Please tell me that doesn't mean what I think it means. " Emily said

"They have another case in Georgia and they need us. You can tell Hotch that you want to sit this one out if you want."

"No. I need to keep things normal for now until I can figure out what I need to do. "

"Are you sure Em?"

"Yeah. "

"Okay. I'll drive you there, let's go. "

JJ knew that Emily needed to take her mind off of things for now. This is a lot to take in and JJ understood. JJ would take care of her whether Emily knew it or not. She would make sure that she wouldn't over do it and that she would be safe in the field if she went.

When both JJ and Emily arrived at the jet, they both sent texts to their nanny's and hoped that they would be home soon. Emily looked different to Hotch. He didn't know what it was, but he knew that she looked sad or maybe perhaps she had been crying.

He didn't want to say anything to her in front of the team but he knew that something was off with her.

Emily just sat in silence on the flight. She eventually took a small nap and was jolted awake when the plane started to land.

It was getting pretty late when they landed, but they went to the precinct anyway to meet the main sheriff.

"Good Evening, you must be Agent Hotchner."

"Yes, I'm sorry for keeping you out so late, we just want to catch this unsub as fast as we can before someone else gets hurt."

"I agree with you on that one, come follow me. We have the case up in one of the interrogation rooms."

They all followed him into one of the interrogation rooms and it had all three of the victims and where they were found and cause of death.

"Excuse me Sheriff, I forgot to introduce my team. This is Agents Rossi, Reid, Morgan, Jareau , and Prentiss. We have our technical analyst on call back in Quantico."

"It's nice to meet you all. Believe me, we're all glad that you are here. We want to catch this unsub before it's too late."

"Agreed." JJ said

"Alight. These her are the latest victims. We just got the identity of the last one this morning. Their family members should be flying out here tomorrow. But for now, i have a board with all of the information on it. Please let me know if there is anything I could do for you."

"Thank you so much Sheriff. "

"No problem."

After a few hours, no leads and a bunch of dead ends, the team was exhausted. They were running off of very few hours of sleep. The team gathered in the precinct and sheriff rejoined the team.

"I know we haven't gotten anywhere today but we are very grateful fr you guys coming out all this way. It truly appreciated. "

"No problem, let's just catch this unsub."

"You guys should go to your hotel and get some rest, I know you guys have to be tired. We hit the ground running in the morning. "

"Agreed, come on guys. Let's get some rest and then we could start with fresh eyes tomorrow. " Hotch said as they all walked out of the small room

"I know you guys were probably expecting individual rooms but this is all we have on a short notice and there's not many rooms left, so if you don't mind, some of y'all might have to share." The sheriff said.

"We don't mind, we've had to bunk before." Morgan said with a smile on his face.

"Rossi and I will share, Reid and Morgan, and Prentiss and JJ can share as well "

"Sounds good to me." Emily said as she walked towards the SUV

When they arrived at the hotel, they checked in and headed towards their rooms. JJ and Emily were the first ones to enter there rooms.

Emily walked into the bathroom, brushed her teeth and changed into her pajamas.

When she came out, she talked to Natalia on the phone while JJ got ready for bed. Emily was getting ready to get off the phone when JJ was coming out of the bathroom.

"Goodnight baby. I love you too. I'll see you soon, I promise. "

The room was silent then. That is until JJ picked up her phone and started talking to her son Henry.

Emily was lost in her thought, she didn't even hear JJ get off the phone.

"What are you thinking about?" JJ asked.

Emily looked over at JJ and smiled

"Natalia and this new baby." she said as she placed a hand over her belly.

"Good thoughts?"

"Yeah. I don't think It has hit me yet. It just doesn't feel real. But I just want to get home and get things in order."

"I get it. Well we should get some rest that was we can get home."

"I JJ. "

"Good night Emily."

And with that, Emily closed her eyes and fell asleep.

That is until she heard her alarm go off. She groaned and got out of bed.

She was ready to start her day.
