My Time
Chapter 16
Hayden glanced up, brows furrowing when he noticed that it was Orion entering the room. He honestly hadn't expected Orion for a few hours, maybe all the way until lunch time. The family did have a lot to discuss, the wind was changing after all. Judging by the look on his face...it had not gone well at all.
Smoothly standing, leaving behind the half-finished ritual, he moved towards Orion just as the door sounded yet again. Giving Orion a look of exasperation, Hayden made a universal gesture for 'one minute please' with his index finger before opening the door.
The Muggle-born on the other side of the door looked ready to bolt. Hayden knew if it wasn't for the promised funds, they wouldn't be still standing there.
"Hi, thanks for coming, if you'd just take a seat over there for a minute, please?" Hayden asked, smiling a little trying to comfort them.
The boy hovered over the doorway for a few moments before very reluctantly stepping inside. Acting like a spooked bird when they caught sight of Orion standing there all imperiously, like a king observing his subjects. Secure in his place in the hierarchy, and feeling no need to feel threatened. He all but fled to the other side of the room, awkwardly sitting on the chair.
"Are you alright?" Hayden asked, staring pensively at Orion, wondering what on earth was going on. A dry chuckle left his lips, "Let me guess, you're alright? You're always all alright?" trying to smile but it came out more of a grimace.
"I will be," Orion said firmly, his gaze faraway, he might have made that ultimatum, part of him wanted to go back and tell his family he'd do whatever they wanted. He didn't want to lose them, he didn't want to be disowned, disinherited. Who the hell would want him then? Even his best friends since childhood would utterly avoid him if that were the case.
Hayden nodded, "We'll talk later," he told Orion giving him a pointed look, he wasn't going to give up easily. Why did men think they have to keep it all in? Oh, right, because they were men.
Orion just gave him an indulging look, but there was no way he could discuss family matters without an outsider. Which is exactly what Hayden was at the end of the day. Orion might be very fond of him, but it had been ingrained into him from a very young age that family matters were for family only.
Hayden seemed to understand all too well, he quirked his lips in a quick manner before turning away. Orion felt his heart tug a little, but he forced it down, he'd known him of all three days, it was ludicrously ridiculous.
"What exactly are you going to do?" the teenager asked, his tone cautious but his gaze held nothing but fear, he was frightened.
Hayden spoke as he finished setting up the ritual, his room had been changed to make it a safe space. "It's a simple ritual, Robert, that will give me your entire family tree, the reason I'm doing this one, is because it will light up any magical family member you have." using his name causing the boy to squeak in surprise, that a pureblood had actually memorised his name.
"But I'm Muggle-born," Robert pointed out, perplexed.
Orion watched the scene through hooded eyes, watch Hayden reveal what was to be done in simple terms. Watched his words seem to calm the Muggle-born down significantly, as he relaxed enough in their presence. He did not like how casually the boy was talking to Hayden, who was so far above him that it was ludicrous to see this. Regardless, he kept his mouth shut, if this was how Hayden chose to do it, then so be it.
"You are yes, that's why I need you specifically," Hayden informed him, cracking him a quick cheeky smile.
"And when will I be paid?" Robert then asked, there was an underlying tension in his voice.
Orion bit into his tongue, deep enough that he could taste the metal copper tang that detonated blood. As if the pain he was feeling wasn't clue enough to let him in on that. The urge to give this Muggle-born a piece of his mind was strong. He already had Hayden word that he'd be paid after the test! Their word was their law, it was obscene asking for money and when it would be paid in.
"You'll get it before you leave," Hayden said, glancing at the boy, his sharp eyes taking everything in about the boy. He called him boy, but the reality was, he was only a couple years younger than him.
"Oh," Robert said, his relief palpable.
"Next years school things or for somewhere to stay during the summer holidays?" Hayden asked his voice laced with sympathy. The school only gave you enough to buy second hand equipment, or rather, most things new – like the potion ingredients – then the rest of it second hand. At least it had been that way with Dumbledore. Whether it was this way with Dippet he did not know.
Orion straightened hearing Hayden speak, glancing at Robert in speculation.
"Both," Robert said blinking in surprise.
Hayden nodded in sympathy, "Were they lost to the war…or is it a matter of them not wanting to be 'burdened' with you?" his tone filled with disgust as he added the last part. The boy would know he wasn't disgusted with him, but rather at the situation.
"My father is MPD, Missing Presumed Dead," Robert confessed, his voice wobbling, "My mum has my little brother to look after."
"Is he showing any signs of accidental magic yet?" Hayden asked with a grin, glancing up at the wizard briefly before finishing up entirely. Now it was ready, all it needed was the boy's blood and naturally, the incantation.
"He's only one years old," Robert said quietly, well, nearly two if you wanted to be all technical, he hadn't began doing accidental magic until he was six. He thought it would be the same for his brother if he had magic.
Hayden hummed, "Step into the middle please," he asked of the teenager, "And I begun accidental magic at that age." He told the teenager, entirely missing Orion's reaction to the pronouncement.
"Are you okay with three drops of your blood being placed here, in the bowl?" where the rune etched stone lay in wait covered in herbs glowing faintly just waiting to be activated. "The entire area will be cleansed afterwards while you watch." He informed him seriously, even if the boy didn't realize just how important blood was…he would still treat it with the seriousness due.
Robert nodded, his naïve gaze revealing just how unaware the potent and powerful instrument blood actually was.
"I need a verbal confirmation," Hayden said softly, "There's a power to words, power to blood."
"You have my permission to use three drops of blood for the ritual," Robert said, the words coming from deep inside of himself despite the fact he shouldn't know what to say.
Magic flared a little, keeping true to Hayden's words, there was power to words and blood.
Hayden placed the bowl at Robert's feet, before taking his right hand in his, and used the ritual dagger to slide open his index finger. Turning the wound to face the bowl, he gently squeezed the finger until one, two and three drops of blood splashed down onto the bowl.
The rune glowed powerfully, almost blinding, Hayden, Robert and Orion with its bright light blue hue. Luckily for all their sakes, the hue began to dim immediately afterwards.
"Et sanguis sanguinem meum et vocavi te, et sanguis sanguinem voco super te, et sanguis sanguinem, familiae et familiae, tenetur ad me ... ostende te in sanguine meo sanguine!" Hayden chanted, his voice calm and concise, reciting the words with ease.
Hayden stepped back, as Robert and the ritual circle lit up bright white, turning redder than blood. Then like a firework, it exploded, and sizzled to nothing leaving Robert with his hands clasped over his head in fear.
Orion stepped close for the first time, watching as parchment began to spin lazily inside of the cauldron. Whirling away until it spluttered to a stop. He couldn't deny being extremely curious as to the results. He suspected that Hayden was right, that he knew it too. That he was only doing this to get the results so he could publish everything without reservations and doubt.
Everyone was going to be in an uproar regardless, and undoubtfully do their own investigations into this.
Then a knock at the door interrupted them again, "Another client?" Orion questioned, had he called them so close together?
Hayden shook his head, glancing up at the clock, "Definitely not, they're not due for another ten minutes." He wanted enough time to explain everything to the no doubt perplexed Muggle-born students…and tell them they should head to Gringotts or to write to the Lord of the families with their family tree. that they might be welcomed.
"Mother? What are you doing…" the noise cut off as soon as Orion stepped outside with Melania in private.
"What is this project all about?" Robert asked, peering at Hayden curiously, without Orion Black's oppressive presence he felt much better. Black had a dominating personality, and presence. Most of the pureblood's did as a matter of fact, and he avoided them when he could.
Hayden looked up as he cleaned the entire area, except for the actual ritual designs he'd drawn this morning. Every speck of blood was wiped away, even if the Muggleborn probably didn't realize the importance…Hayden did. "I believe you've got magical ancestors. That magic didn't just come out of nowhere, and I need to prove that. It's why you signed that contract since the results are going to be published as you know." he had been upfront about most of it.
"Published?" Robert bleated out, freezing, "I thought it was for school!" some sort of school summer project that the pureblood was doing. Although, truthfully, he wasn't acting in any pureblood way, despite dressing for the part. Plus, no pureblood he knew would be caught dead staying in this place.
"No, not for school," Hayden shook his head, "You may back out if you want?" giving him the opportunity, he wasn't about to publish the results if the boy really didn't want him to do.
"It's fine," Robert murmured, he couldn't afford to say no, not now when he was close to making sure he could help his mum pay the rent, and get the books he needed for school. St. Mungo's were doing something similar, he'd be testing potions for forty-five galleons, which would help his mum during the year when he was gone to school. Plus, it was no skin of his if the results were published…he was pretty sure he didn't have anyone in his family that was magical.
"Are you sure?" Hayden questioned as he plucked the roll of parchment from inside the bowl. He couldn't deny being slightly nervous, everything hinged on these results, and even though he knew he was right…it didn't make this any less nerve-wracking. At least he didn't have Orion peering over his shoulder.
"Yes," Robert declared, and it wasn't solely for the money, the wizard had been very kind to him. "Well? No magical relatives, right?" he asked when the wizard began to unroll the parchment.
"Yes," Hayden said, staring at the results, unrolling it fully so he could read it better. "The two lines joined together."
"But…but I'm the first magical person in my family," Robert protested, he wasn't meaning it in a bad way, he just couldn't believe that his family had been magical once upon a time.
"In a few generations, yes," Hayden fully agreed sombrely, "See these lines? Your great-great grandmother and great-great-great grandfather? They were squibs, one from the Abbott line, and Aline Abbott became Aline Abbey until she married. Then there's Ollivander…given Garrett Ollivander's age…it must be an uncle or brother…." Who would have thought they'd be hiding such a secret?
They always claim to be light, to be fair and unjudgmental…and they still hide their squibs away like dirty secrets.
"Ollivander?!" Robert squeaked, heart pounding. "Does that mean…I'm entitled to a portion of the estate?"
"No," Hayden shook his head, "Your great-great-great Grandfather was likely disowned, he isn't or wasn't entitled to a single Knut. You can write to the current Lord Ollivander, let him know you exist, give him the family tree and explain. He might take you in, make you part of the family, help you financially. Same with your great- however many times Grandmother. Don't expect anything though." He warned him, but the likelihood of him being welcomed into the Ollivander line was extremely high. Garrett Ollivander was the only one left, and he was sterile, Garrett's father had denied the wrong person a wand and they'd taken revenge in the most painful way possible with his son.
"Can I take that…" Robert asked, stretching out his hand for it.
"I'll give you a copy, I'm sorry but I do need the original," Hayden explained, "If I put a copy in, they can claim I altered it. If you want, we can do the ritual again?"
"A copy is fine," the wizard insisted, still dazed by the information he'd gotten. Not only did he now have an understanding on where his magic came from. He also had family out there, other than just his mum and little brother. He had magical relatives who could understand him on a fundamental level.
Within a few minutes, Hayden had a copy of the ritual parchment created and reaching into his cloak pocket for one of the money pouches. He had dozens already premade to the exact coin promised for taking part. The real parchment went into the folder with the rest of the documents.
One Robert Brown down, just thirty more rituals to go today before he was done.
"Here you go, you can check it's all there," Hayden said, handing over the coins, "No hard feelings if you do." This was very important to Robert, the money, he was taking care of his family and he had earned Hayden's respect for that and that alone. Then again, Hayden would come to find that it was expected that children of a certain age pull their own weight. That it was later generations that had it so much easier, and longer still to be children.
Robert did indeed shuffle them about, and agreed it looked to be the agreed upon amount. The coins clinking noisily in the pouch. "Thank you," he said sincerely, this was…a life saver, in more ways than one he hoped. He was related to the wand maker! And Abbott? There were a few Abbott's at Hogwarts.
"You're welcome," Hayden said with a smile, as he made his way back over to the desk and began preparing the bowl once more for another ritual. Two, it really did take two squib lines joining enough to bring out magic again. One squib in the line wasn't enough.
The herbs had already been ground down to fine dust, so with deft hands, he had the mixture inside of it along with the rune. He wondered if magical tents were available yet or if they had been created in future. If they had been created…well, he could simply pitch up his tent until he had everything ready. He'd slept in much worse conditions, and in fear of his life and without the fabulous wards available on the Peverell Estate. Why hadn't he thought of this before?
He was an idiot.
"How did it go?" Orion asked, passing over a bottle of butterbeer, his own was half empty.
He almost jumped out of his skin, before relaxing as realization dawned, "Thanks, exactly as I expected," Hayden replied, accepting the bottle, a noise to his right had him looking up and to his right. Only to find Melania was still there, their faces were impassive, but there was no denying they were extremely curious over the results. If their subtle glances were anything to go by.
He smiled, a genuine smile, while Orion might look like his father's double, he had quite a few of his mother's facial expressions. Either adopted or he was born with them. "Go on then," he said wryly, holding another copy of the test results in his hands, the parchment loosely in his hand only to laugh when Orion all but snatched it from him.
"How many have you done?" Melania asked as her son began to roll the parchment down.
"Just the one so far," Hayden replied.
"Two magical lines," Orion said, staring pensively at the results, "Abbott and Ollivander?!" he rasped out. "You know…there's an aspect of this we didn't think about…" he realized gravely. He really just wanted to drop his jaw and stutter like an idiot, but he had too much composure for that.
"You mean we're basically outing secrets that families have been keeping for generations?" Hayden said dryly, nodding his head sombrely. "Yeah, I know, you never know…your family might crop up in there as well."
"What is that supposed to mean?" Melania asked stiffly.
"Marius Black…I think I met all your relatives at the Yule feast, those alive at least," Hayden said sombrely. "If he's alive and still on the family tree…I can only think of one reason for that." They hadn't disowned Marius; he was legally still a Black. Which had surprised him very much when he saw the tapestry. Those who had died, well, it was obvious they had, their date of birth and date of death were imprinted upon it. Including Carina Black who, may she rest in peace, had passed most recently.
"You are too smart for your own good," Melania commented, it was true, he hadn't even glanced at the family tree for long, how could he have memorised that much at least? "Do you have eidetic memory?" Merlin, thank the goddess that neither Sirius or Arcturus were here to hear that. Although, really, the tapestry is always on display
"No, I don't have photographic memory," Hayden shook his head, swallowing down half the glass of butterbeer, "Although, having the ability to recall an image to memory with high recall does sound amazing." And without using a Mnemonic device, he honestly thought Hermione had that ability or something close to it anyway. She could recall information at the drop of a hat, but she'd never claimed to be able to have eidetic memory.
Melania opened her mouth to speak, but someone knocked on the door yet again.
"Excuse me," Harry said quickly making his way over to the door, and opening it to find his next appointment at the door. He wanted to sigh in exasperation were they all going to act like terrified children? Just what exactly were the pureblood's doing to Muggle-borns in this time? "Hi, come on in, I assume you've read everything you could?" noticing the Ravenclaw badge on her cloak. He'd be disappointed if she hadn't to be fair, Ravenclaws were the most academically inclined after all.
Cora stood at the doorway, eyeing the two Black's as if they were about to annihilate her.
"Would you prefer this is done without company?" Hayden asked her, barely hiding his exasperation.
Cora licked her lips before nodding, unable to meet the Black's gazes.
Hayden arched his brow throwing them a look, silently asking that very question on his mind, what had they done? "Would you do me a favour and go get a packet of crisps and a sweet maybe a drink from Honeydukes for me?"
"And what exactly did your last servant die of?" Orion asked sounding deeply offended, despite the besotted part of him wanting to go immediately and get Hayden what he wanted. He ignored that part, it was a very dangerous precedence to set in his opinion. Although a part of him insisted 'is it?' his father did everything his mother asked, if she wanted something you'd bet your backside that he would get it for her.
"Old age," Hayden said dryly, "Which is what I'm going to die off waiting…make it milk chocolate, I can't stand dark chocolate unless it's minty, please."
Melania watched and listened avidly, gauging her son's reaction to Hayden's request. Quite honestly, she was amazed at the subtle changes to her son since Hayden had dropped into his life. quite literally as the case may be, since he had appeared out of nowhere at Grimmauld Place, a property that they'd just bought. Not that Orion was revealing anything, he was being rather tight lipped about the whole thing. It wasn't unusual that she'd have to wait until Orion was ready to talk, but normally he was ready to talk.
"Fine," Orion said, with a long-suffering sigh, causing his mother's eyes to widen in astonished shock.
"I'll come with you, shall I? I am in need of a treat or two," Melania said, looping her arm through her sons, "Shall we?" without giving him a chance to protest, deny her or anything of the sort, she had them walking out of the room.
Hayden grinned, before mouthing 'Thank you' as they left.
Only then did Cora Rowan step into the room, regaining quite a great deal of her confidence. She definitely had done her research, since she immediately stepped into the ritual space, hand spread out in offering for the blood 'sacrifice' the ritual requested. Not that it was in any way a 'sacrifice'.
"Are you okay with three drops of your blood being placed here, in the bowl?" where the rune etched stone lay in wait where he'd just put it at her feet, it was covered in herbs glowing faintly just waiting to be activated which the blood would do. "The entire area will be cleansed afterwards while you watch."
"I give you permission for this time only, to drop three droplets of blood for the ritual." Cora informed him coolly.
Hayden grinned, inclining his head in respect, suddenly she reminded him of Hermione, a girl who devoured every piece of information she could. No doubt she had read everything she could before agreeing to this.
"Et sanguis sanguinem meum et vocavi te, et sanguis sanguinem voco super te, et sanguis sanguinem, familiae et familiae, tenetur ad me ... ostende te in sanguine meo sanguine!" Hayden chanted, the words slipping from his mouth with ease, repeating
The ritual circle lit up once again, bright white, before turning redder than blood. Then like a firework, it exploded, and sizzled to nothing, unlike Robert, Cora had not panicked the slightest. Merely watched the parchment roll dramatically before another puff of smoke detonated its end.
"Would you like a copy?" Hayden enquired.
"No," Cora shook her head, she had zero interest in her relatives.
"Um…are you…are you sure?" Hayden asked unrolling the parchment, stiffening in shock, "Really sure?" Once again there were two squibs, within two generations.
A hint of curiosity covered Cora's face, as she peered down at Hayden, wondering what it was that he was seeing. She was a Muggle-born, surely there was nothing of interest in her results.
"You're not going to charge me for it, are you?" she asked narrowing her eyes suspiciously upon Hayden's character.
Hayden glanced sharply at her, for Merlin's sake! He wondered at the Black's reputation…about all pureblood reputations come to that. Just what was Hogwarts like for her that she believes no information is given for nothing. Instead of giving her a reply, he copied the results and gave her one without a word.
Shaking his head in sheer annoyance, he grabbed his cloak, and a short rummage later, he had he bag of coins out. He handed it over, "Thank you," he said impassively, he'd tried kindness, and apparently that was just suspicious as hell. Maybe this would make them relax. "You can go now." He added bluntly, green eyes exuding infuriation.
Cora huffed before stalking across the room, the last thing Hayden heard as the door closed was "Malfoy?" in a squeaky voice.
Hayden laughed, as the result joined the other.
"Hey," Hayden said, perking up when he saw Orion was back, "Your mother not here?" moving the bottle of chilled butterbeer over, the Leaky Cauldron was not known for its good drink selection. In other words, the wine probably wouldn't be something Orion would drink here. Other than Butterbeer, wine had been all he'd seen Orion drinking.
"No, she returned home," Orion explained, handing over a few pieces of chocolate, a normal milk chocolate piece and of course, dark mint chocolate.
"Thanks," Hayden said giving a pleased smile, "What on earth have you done to those Muggle-borns? I didn't think Cora was going to come in if you two were there." Hayden informed Orion wryly, shaking his head, ignoring the looks he was receiving in the pub.
Word had gotten around who he was, not what he was doing – yet anyway – he'd had his share of people asking to sit next to him. Or worse asking him if he wanted a drink, as if a drink was all that was required to get into his good graces. He didn't understand people, it wasn't as if he was out looking for someone at a club, he was literally living above the pub and wanted something to eat.
"You really should refrain from speaking about them with such familiarity," Orion declared, using their first names without so much as a by-your-leave. "It's a mistake they make as well, only those closest to us ever get to call us by our given name. even our teachers respect our ways surprisingly, considering Hogwarts is turning into a very Muggle-born friendly institution."
"You have a point," Hayden conceded, "But which name do I use? The two wizarding ones or Rowan?"
Orion was suitably distracted hearing that, "So it happened again? Two squib lines?"
"Two squib lines, and within two generations," Hayden nodded, opening the chocolate, and plopping it into his mouth. "That seems to be the common denominator actually."
"How many have you gotten done? And I have to see the results," Orion declared, standing up, urging Hayden to do so as well. He'd temporarily forgotten about the results until Hayden had spoken again. Mostly due to his mother, who kept trying to wheedle him. She knew something was wrong, but he wasn't in the mood for any of his family right now. At least she hadn't pushed too much, and for the most part, respected his decision not to talk about it. "Are they up the stairs?" very tempted to rush up the steps into the room on his own to get the results. Unfortunately, he would never dare to act in such a familiar manner.
"Just a second, I ordered us food…I'll have it sent upstairs," Hayden told him, "Head on up, it's on the nightstand with the rest of the information. I'll be right behind you."
True to his word, Hayden was barely two minutes behind him, as a guest at the Leaky Cauldron, Tom was very accommodating. Not that he'd asked much, just for his food to be brought up the stairs for them. "It's just a simple lunch, a beef hotpot." By Orion's standards no doubt, he would never call any food simple after his upbringing. Food was food, and boy, Orion had been spoiled, the food at Black Castle had been so delicious.
"I've overheard that its nice," Orion told Hayden as he plucked the copies off the nightstand. He was learning at least; he must have the original's packed away safely. At least the food before didn't cause him gastric distress.
Hayden threw his head back and laughed, chuffing and chortling as it tapered off, "Tell that to your face," he said wryly, honestly, you'd think he'd just likened the food to something like a mud pie you make as a child.
It changed from looking an if there were a disgusting spell under his nose to perking up in curiosity and interest as the parchment was unrolled entirely. Nine rolls of parchment were spread out on the table, most of it off the table. There was only one thing Orion was interested in, was the glowing lines that detonated a magical ancestor and where it ended.
Hayden joined him, as they righted the parchment so that the names were on the centre of the table. All in order of them getting done, so Orion was closest to Roberts and the last one belonged to Mary White.
"Abbott and Ollivander," Orion murmured to himself, glancing at the other, following the lines with his finger until he reached the squib. "Malfoy?! And Jacques well they did live in France for a long time, oh, that's right, Jennifer Jacques was brought here to marry a Malfoy, but there was some sort of scandal. Ironic that the lines joined regardless in a pair of squibs."
"How do you know about that?" Hayden asked, "It's four generations ago, at least, since the squib here isn't Jennifer…"
"I read," Orion said dryly, his lips twitching when Hayden laughed, he liked the sound of it. His face just changed entirely when he laughed, it's like when he laughed, he let go of a lot of burdens he harboured. His face went from grim to joyful, youthful. He certainly didn't look his age, and it wasn't the 'pureblood masks' they were all taught, no this ran deeper than that.
Hayden smiled, "A lot of them are just from minor houses, but this one is from the house of Nott, not sure if they'll accept anything to do with him. They believe in the sacred twenty-eight, and well, he's not that, not by a long shot when it comes to their belief." Even he wasn't on the sacred twenty-eight, but his line had 'ended' by then, but the new names had been on it, Gaunt and Potter.
Orion leaned forward to see Terentius Nott, brother of Thaddeus Nott, mentally calculating the ages, and realizing that Terentius was nine months younger than Thaddeus. He wondered if Thaddeus even remembered his younger brother knew about him. He was a Great-great grandfather now, old and ancient. He wondered how he'd feel about his brother's line (his nephew many times removed) showing up at the door?
"Terrance is going to freak out," Orion declared, noticing the minute flinch coming Hayden at the word, and his eyes darkened considerably. He wanted to find out who Hayden had been raised by and he wanted to ensure they paid a very heavy price for harming a single hair on his head or heart.
"Terrance?" Hayden queried, sightly distracted as he glanced at Orion noticing how close the were.
"Heir Nott," Orion explained, the family was worried about their line, naturally, since the Nott's only seem to be having one child – and with great difficulty – and Terrance didn't seem to want to settle down. He refused all betrothals put forth. He didn't say this to Hayden, as much as he trusted him, it wasn't his place. You did not gossip about other pureblood families, the only ones really given carte blanch was husbands and wives.
"Oh, I'd love to see their faces," Hayden said in devilish merriment.
"You love to cause trouble, don't you?" Orion said. someone like this is probably the very last person he should be attracted to, to want, to desire. Especially since he needed someone 'proper' at least in public when it comes to it. The Black family were watched closely. Not just by the Ministry but the press as well. Yet he couldn't help himself, he wanted Hayden like he'd never wanted anyone before.
"What's life without a little mischief?" Hayden teased, only for his eyes to widen when he felt Orion's lips on his. His eyes quickly closed, as Hayden pressed closer, butterflies erupted in his belly, as his nerves were shot to hell, he felt a though his body was boiling as heat suffused him. He'd had his fair share of kisses, but nothing like this, nothing that had elicited this heat inside of him. Everything else just faded away, the how's, the why's and all complications.
Cho and Ginny most certainly did not have anything on Orion's kiss.
A/N - Well there we go! I hope you enjoyed the new chapter ;) so will they ignore each other or will they deal with it as it is? and will they be interrupted? :P R&R please
