Jacob raced towards the Cullen's house, the lights were dead, nobody seemed to be home but there was a fading stench of a vampire on the patio.
Vampires have been there recently, It's either Victoria to see If Bella is still under the Cullen's protection or it was them.
Jacob growled at the werewolves who where behind him, barking orders to head back to the reservation.
Bella was outside the house, The wolves haven't left her side and when Jacob returned she rushed towards him.
"Jae" Bella said, she she hugged his large head, She could finally sleep. Jacob has been gone almost the whole night.
Jacob grumbled and walked passed her, Bella looked on and Jacob went inside his house. Jacob turned back into a human and Bella looked away.
it's nothing she hasn't seen before but it's very arousing. She looked back at him when he hoisted his trousers up.
Jacob noticed her reddish face but still catered to her worries first.
"Come here" Jacob said. Bella enjoyed the warmth.
"How did it go?" Bella asked.
"So far we haven't seen any vampire, but I've picked up their scent near Port Angeles and.. the rainforest, Jacob didn't want to say that he caught a whiff of them at the Cullen's residence fearing that Bella will forget about everything they went through and maybe be excited about that Blood suckers return.
"Well as long as I remain in the treaty line it will keep them at bay" Bella said.
" Will you cease patrolling for tonight at least? I can't sleep If I have to worry about you" Bella said.
" I won't go anywhere now that the coast is clear, I will tell the others to remain at the reservation until tomorrow" Jacob said.
" Head to bed, I'll meet you there soon" Jacob said but Bella didn't want to.
She wanted to stay awake until he's done.

The Cullen's went back to Denali to avoid any suspicion of their return until the hostility of the Black family have died down.
While they arrived at the Alaska airport Billy ringed Carlisle demanding where he is, Carlisle tried to keep his voice steady, not trying to give a tiny slip up that they have been in Forks.
They are in Alaska and only he went to different locations in Forks for his profession but haven't been anywhere near Bella.
Billy couldn't tell If Carlisle was trying to protect his family from starting a war with the Werewolves but decides to take his word for it.
Carlisle remained quiet about the phone call to his family and kept his mind occupied incase Edward notices something troubling on his fathers features.
Carlisle bought a cottage and from the inside it had a lot of space, Edward placed a bag down in his new room and there was a small fire place.
He smiled lightly for the first time in days, He could imagine him and Bella being close to the warm fire, her in his embrace celebrating winter right here.
Edward had a hard time staying put and wondered what he could do for Bella if she'll accept me back.
Alice had the perfect distraction in mind, shopping. Edward carried her bags in a foul mood, Alice took no notice of his aggravating pout as he sludges after her.
"Remember the car I wanted for Christmas?" Alice said. Edward looked up "the Porsche?"
"Yeah, I want it in Yellow" Alice said.
"Anything for you" Edward said,
" You're not looking forward to celebrate Christmas?" Alice looked at his long face.
"I do, This could be the best or the worst of my existence" Edward said.
"Don't worry I'll think of a plan if things won't work out between you" Alice said.
"Mind If I look into her future?" Alice asked.
"Okay, but only to see what I need to do to win her back" Edward said.
"It's going to be Ok Edward, Try not to think of what could go wrong" Alice said and moved passed him to a different store.
The customers looked on amused when Edward came in with a tower of gifts in a bag, His hair was covered in snow and placed the bags down, Alice picked more things without looking at the price tags
Edward wasn't annoyed with Alice, She could spend all his money If she wants but only If he was just a bit stronger and just tried to find a different way to guard Bella.
She's human and have him come back will give all kinds of assumptions, that He only came back because life without her wasn't as ideal as he thought.
What if begging is not enough? What if those lies are the truth in her mind and nothing I'll say or do will change anything?.
Edward walked towards the jewelry section of the store and looked at the things he could give Bella if she decided to take him back. his first idea was buying her an engagement ring.
and just redo the proposal near her house. this time he will get on his knees.
But maybe that's not what he's looking for, he wants to give her that symbolizes his whole heart.
close to the mirrors Edward notice golden round pedants, he let one rest on his palm, and he eyed the jewelry.
It's an expanding photo locket, and the other ones are larger heart shaped where you can place a small gift in.
That would be a suitable gift but Edward wondered which one he should take.
He eyed the heart shaped locket but realizes that there is a small opening, and it has a photo frame too.
both of them were eye catching but the heart shaped one got both things he wanted, so he'll purchase them both and give the round shaped locket to his mother.
He will put the pictures of his family in there as a gift for causing her grief, at least she'll have something of her children with her.
Edward wanted to customize Bella's locket with the words " Forever in my heart" written behind the locket in Hebrew. it suits the locket well leaving Bella a subliminal message that he's leaving his heart behind with her whether if his efforts to earn her love back is in vain.
his last gift to her will be a musical box with a new song he'll compose for her, he wants her to have the things that are not tainted by his betrayal.
the things he left under her floorboard could just rip up old wounds, those were given days before told that he didn't want her.
He wants to make room for new and better memories.
2 long difficult weeks have finally passed so next morning he will go back to Forks assuming Bella's guests are already gone.
Alice was happy that she got everything for the Holidays and placed the things she bought in her new Porsche, Edward got in and looked at the locket he bought.
Edward was afraid to give it now, Bella might throw it in the trash bin, The gift he'll place in the Locket means a lot to him but only can give it away if she wants to cherish it.
That's why he'll give it to her when he's at least forgiven for the things he said to her.
He's looking forward to see her but is also nervous, But he just can't stay away any longer.
Alice clutched the steering wheel and looked very agitated towards the road.
Something has upsetting her and wondered what happened, They went shopping and he bought her a car.
It couldn't been something he did.. right? Edward didn't dare to ask if he was part of the reason why she's angry.
"Idiot" Alice said not too pleased.
"What?" Edward wondered what was with the sudden hostility.
" I told you to stay away until everyone of them were gone" Alice said.
Edward couldn't see what she saw since her mind was clouded with angry thoughts.
" They know there was a vampire close to Bella's home" Alice said, " Billy black knows that we might have returned"
" So you will have to wait a little longer before you can see her" Alice said.
"But I was at a far distance, I only watched I.. I'm sorry" Edward said saddened.
" You will have another chance" Alice said " But don't wander around, don't go anywhere unless I say so"
"I will, " Edward promised,
During the car ride home Alice remained very quiet, she always does that when she want to rip someone's head off.
" I'm sorry Alice" Edward said.
Alice didn't respond and after she parked she got her things without acknowledging Edward.
After all his brooding and being detached he just ruined a chance, If he had listened to Alice instead of seeing Bella.
Edward understood Alice's frustration, hopefully her sore mood will clear up.
It was cloudy, he wanted to go to Bella to at least watch her sleep but the Quileute's are near. One of them could spot him and report it back to Bella.
According to Alice's visions none of them have a good outcome so he'll just have to trust his sister on this and wait until the time is right.

Bella took a long shower and wants to make love again, Life is short, She asked for Billie's blessing and right now the Quileute tribe know that she and Jacob are partners.
There is no marriage among the wolves just registered partnership. Only Second wives, the imprinter and imprinted are allowed to marry and that's fine.
Registered partnership is almost just as good as being married, Bella still struggles with the idea that If Jacob doesn't imprint on her she will automatically be the second wife.
She wants him for herself, but for now being the love of his life couldn't make her feel any better.
Bella opened her eyes when the sun of the early morning shined against her face, with one eye open she adjusted to the light.
Jacob was asleep soundless while she rested against his shoulder. "Jae?" Bella whispered moving his hair back.
Only a groan was heard in response, and he remained with his face in the pillow.
Their passionate night knocked him out, they were supposed to go to Charlie's funeral together but he seems so peaceful that she decided to let him rest.
Bella walked outside and she saw Sue with her infant son Seth, he's growing quite fast and Sue thinks he could have the werewolf gene.
She started her truck and when she left the treaty line she felt a little unsafe, She could have waited until Jacob wakes up but the cemetery will close in the afternoon.
She bought flowers for the grave at a local shop, It was crowded and sunny so It's very unlikely a Vampire will spawn.
