Prowl watched as their probe drone flew around the Sumdac tower. The Autobots could use many secluded spots as they made their way to the building. If they were to get into a brawl with the Decepticons on their scouting run, they would need to deal with them quickly so it would not spread out into the populated areas. Optimus walked up behind Prowl as she took a look at the monitor.

"What have you learned about Prowl?"

"It's isolated, but most of the area is viewable by the surrounding areas," Prowl explains. "It's on a small island with roads connecting towards it,"

"One suggestion is hacking into the bridge controls and keeping them up while we locate the energy source, but that's half the battle," Ratchet explained to Optimus, "Someone would still need to get inside and find what we're looking for,"

"That's why we got little blue over here," Cliffjumper placed her arm around Arcee as she pointed to her, "She's like a ninja, just in and out,"

Arcee rolled her eyes and elbows Cliffjumper forcing her to let go, "Don't call me that,"

"There's a spot," Prowl points to the back of the building—a bridge connected towards a harbor with another structure. "The back's more isolated than any other part of the building. It must lead towards some off-site building."

"Then that is where you must go," Optimus told the Autobots. "Ironhide and Lio would be parked in the front of the building on the lookout for any Decepticons. Ratchet would be in the back while Cliffjumper and Arcee sneak inside. Prowl and I will be on standby if you need assistance to call for a groundbridge. Teletraan 1 would be operating the ground bridge."

"Glad to be included," Teletraan 1 smirks; the groundbridge opens. "By the way, we have a visitor,"

A yellow and black car comes speeding out of the groundbridge, nearly taking off Ratchet's leg if she didn't raise it in time. "Wow! Watch where you're going, kid!"

The car does a donut as it transforms into Bumblebee. Two long pigtails went down the side of her head, and she had dark skin with black sclera and blue pupils; a blue ring surrounded her pupil with four blue arches around the circle. She wore a dark grey undersuit with her car parts around the suit and was sporting bumblebee shoes.

"Hey, hey," Bumblebee says

"Wassup Bumblebee," Cliffjumper grins as she high-fives her friend, "You've missed quite a lot."

"Yeah yeah, I know," Bumblebee says as she nods her head, "But I'm ready to kick ass and take names,"

"You're just in time; we're about to go on a little field trip," Prowl explains.

"Oh goody," Bumblebee smirks, "The boy is currently away, on a trip."

"Well, that explains why you are here," Prowl said.

Ironhide walks up to Bumblebee and slaps the back of Bumblebee back, "Good to have you back, girl; you missed the arrival of our newest recruit,"

Following where Ironhide jabbed her thumb, Bumblebee stepped back as she saw Lio.

"Wow, her body is like the boy's," Bumblebee says as she walks up to Lio, "What's your story?"

"I'm Lio Convoy," He answered. "And I'm a he?"

"He?" Bumblebee asked, "We got one of those?"

"Apparently," Arcee placed a hand on her hips, "He's not from our Universe,"

"So he claims," Prowl said, "Back to the objective at hand, Bumblebee, you will accompany Cliffjumper and Arcee to Sumdac towers,"

"Oh dang," Bumblebee says, "And that's where the boy went,"

"Why?" Ironhide asked.

"A field trip, a building tour," Bumblebee explains.

"Great, that may complicate things further," Prowl rubs her chin, "Y'all need to move, and fast,"

"You got it, boss man," Bumblebee gave her a thumbs up.

"How is that video coming along, Soundwave?" Starscream asked, "I don't want those humans to get too suspicious,"

Soundwave didn't answer Starscream, much to her annoyance. Letting her frustration be known as she growled, which Soundwave paid no mind. Soundwave had found some light energy source; the signal was fading. She managed to get to the current location and turned around to face Starscream, pointing at the monitor of her terminal.

Starscream quirks a brow, "What exactly am I looking at?"

Soundwave merely points to the screen once again. Starscream walked over to the monitor and looked at what Soundwave had found.

"A genuine cybertronian power source. There's no way that these salvages could develop something like that, no matter how hard they try," Starscream said, "No doubt the Autobots are after it as well. Send in Barricade, Blackjack, Knockout, and Breakdown. Alongside some troopers."

Soundwave nods her head while Starscream returns to her seat.

Sam rubbed his face as he listened to Mr. Sumdac talk about the building and future of technology. Sam wasn't so sure; he kept blanking out as he looked around the building, taking in his surroundings. Sam's friends weren't around, so he didn't have anyone to talk to, space out, and daydream about something else until the field trip ended.

Or that's what he expected to do until he heard a bark, a robotic barking that was getting closer. The students noted that and looked around for the source of the barking while Sam was snapped out of his daydream as he felt something wrap around his ankle.

"Wh-woah woah AH ah!" Sam screams as he sees a robotic dog pulling at his pants. He tried shaking the dog off, but instead, it pulled him down and got another bit in as he tried to pull him back. "Ah ah! Someone kick it, kick it!" Sam shouted as he swung his leg around, which did nothing to stop it; the students laughed at Sam's expense while the teacher looked on and sighed.

"Sparky!" A voice called out. A little girl with red pigtails rushed in, spotting her keycard on the ground, "Oh hey, you dropped it, but wh- hey, no, stop it, you stupid dog!" Sari picks up the key card and tries to pull the dog away.

"That dog is attacking my student," The teacher told Mr. Sumdac,

"Yes, yes, I am sorry about that. Move along; one of my assistants will continue the tour while I get the dog to let go," Mr. Sumdac explains.

"Just lead him back to the rest of the class when you're done," The teacher said as she waved for the students to follow along.

Mr. Sumdac turned back to Sam, who was still trying to shake the dog loose from his leg while Sari pulled. Sparky ripped off a piece of Sam's pants once pulled off. It dropped the fabric of the pants and quickly turned around to grab Sari's keycard, yanked it away from him, and dropped the dog.

"Sorry about that," Sari told Sam, "It ran off after taking my keycard; I'm Sari, by the way,"

"Sam," He answered as he looked at his ripped pants, Sam looked up and noticed the class was gone, and he sighed. "Of course,"

Sari looks at Sam, then around the empty corridor, "So you're like a loser? Outcast or something?"

"No," Sam told her indignantly as he stood up, "Now I need to find my class."

"Or we can hang out; they all left you behind anyways," Sari says.

"Thanks for the offer, but you're just a little kid," Sam told her, "What could we possibly do… you're a kid that I just meant,"

"Anything? I live here so we can find something to do and so? What can you do in a building I own? And you just got attacked by a robotic dog and chose to scream and try to shake it off.," Sari told him; she walked up to her dad and pulled on his shirt, "Hey, Dad. Can Sam hang out with me? Just tell the teachers that something else came up or something. Please?"

"Sari, he is currently in class and supposed to be on tour," Mr. Sumdac told his daughter.

"Please?" Sari begs, "I can show him the more fun things, and as I said, what's the worst that could happen?"

Mr. Sumdac looks over to Sam, who just shrugged. It could be less embarrassing to hang out with her than going to his classmates after the cyber dog attack.

"Fine, just don't do anything dangerous," Mr. Sumdac says,

"Yes! Thanks, Dad! Let's go," Sari shouted as Sam slowly followed after her.

Prowl watched as the last of the Autobots went through the groundbridge. Optimus stood behind her as Prowl turned on the monitor, their probe drone following after the team.

"The teams are in Optimus," Prowl explains as she looks over the monitor as the groundbridge cuts off. She watched each Autobot icon pop up when another one finally appeared inside the building. Prowl noticed the new signal when suddenly there was a call. Prowl narrows her eyes, and she clicks accept.

"Who is that?" Optimus asked, bending down to Prowl's level.

"It's an Autobot, and it seems like it's."

Hot Rod had finally reported in after multiple attempts to get her to respond, and there wasn't a better time for that either. The team is currently out, and Hot Rod location is near the rest of the Autobots; she could help with the current objective. How did she get there when they only set her on a scouting mission? Looking for any energy source or something the Autobots should look out for, like defenses in the area. Prowl and Optimus were curious about how suddenly she could appear on the radar and call them.

"Hot Rod," Optimus says, "It's good to hear from you again."

"Great to hear you again, ma'am," Hot Rod gleefully told her.

Prowl shook her head while Optimus softly smiled.

"A fine time for you to pop back on the grid and report in," Prowl says as she crosses her arms,

"Good to hear from you too, Prowl," Hot Rod drawls,

"Where are you?"

"Oh, just in some human garage with some humans around," Hot Rod says.

"Hot Rod, what happened while you were out?" Optimus asked.

"Right, so I was minding my own business," Hot Rod started, "And I picked up on something I thought would be of great help for us; some things happened. I scanned a new car to hide better, and now I'm in a garage as a cool car collection,"

"That or they like collecting old cars," Prowl suggested.

"Oh, haha," Hot Rod responded, 'Anyways, what do I do now? The thing is right in front of me,"

"There is a team outside getting ready to infiltrate the building and take it," Prowl answered, "Can you give us an exact estimate of its size and what it looks like?"

"It's a cube that a human can carry, and it has weird markings," Hot Rod answered.

"At Least it's portable," Prowl told Optimus, who nodded.

"Sit tight, Hot Rod; help is on the way," Optimus told her.

"I've been doing that for a while, ma'am; I'm a master at sitting tight," Hot Rod said.

"No, you're not," Prowl deadpanned.

The call ends; Hot Rod moves her mirror to look at the two humans entering the lab.

"Just hurry up and leave," She whispers to herself.

Outside of the building, the team made it to their position. Ironhide and Lio parked in different building sections, hidden from prying eyes. Behind them, Cliffjumper and Bumblebee sought a way inside the building.

"There's a vent you could fit into," Cliffjumper points out. "Might be a tight fit, but you could do it,"

"I would need a boost up there," Arcee told her, "And the schematics of this place,"

"Right, right," Cliffjumper rubs the back of her head, "We don't know where to go…"

Arcee rolled her eyes while Bumblebee snapped her fingers.

"Why don't we take the building and push it somewhere else!" Bumblebee suggested with a smile.

Ratchet rubs her forehead, "I didn't think you would be this annoying with that radio... There's a garage door over there, and the source is strong. And I got word from Prowl that Hot Rod is near our objective."

"Cool, she's back in play," Cliffjumper grins, "Let's get our girl back and that energy source,"

"Look, alive ladies," Ironhide announced over comms, "I think we got company,"

Ratchet turned her attention. The eight vehicons were heading their way, along with four familiar vehicles. A police car, a black and purple McLaren Artura, a red sports car, and the familiar blue truck.

"Wow, look like they're rolling out all the stops," Bumblebee says.

Cliffjumper grins, shadowboxing the air before she cracks her knuckles, "Either they expected all of us to be here, they want the power, or they sent all this back up for our newest recruit."

"Whatever the case is, we cannot let them get to it!" Ratchet shouted, "Arcee find a way inside; Cliffjumper go with her,"

"Copy that media bot" Cliffjumper nods and follows Arcee.

The vehicons opened fire; prongs came from Ratchet's wrist, and pink lightning coursed through them as they charged. Using one of the magnets, Ratchet stopped the first volley and pulled a chunk out of the ground to deflect the rest. The vehicons rushed past Ratchet, four heading towards the building while four went to stop Cliffjumper and Arcee.

A cannon comes from Breakdown's roof and points towards Bumblebee. Before she could open fire, Ironhide crashed into her side, pushing Breakdown into Knockout. Both Decepticons flew through the air, the impact force making them change shapes before they slammed into the ground. Ironhide transforms, landing on her feet as Lio drives in and transforms. Both Autobots point their weapons toward the Decepticons as they stand up.

"Looks like we got ourselves a little standoff," Breakdown looks at Lio and Ironhide while Knockout frantically checks herself.

"Is that a dent?!" Knockout glared at Ironhide. "You will pay for that Autobot,"

"Weapons down," Ironhide ordered.

Knockout growls; she looks at her partner and then smirks. "Well, we can't do anything with the prime wanna-be around,"

"Guess we'll comply," The pair retracted their weapons, Knockout putting away her blasters while Breakdown put away her hammer.

"That's better," Ironhide says.

Knockout nods. A part of her back pops open, and she pulls out her staff while a blaster comes from Breakdown's shoulder. Knockout quickly spins, throwing the staff toward Lio, who is too slow to stop it, while Breakdown fires a missile toward Ironhide. Much like Lio, she was too slow to avoid the rocket entirely, getting blown off her feet; Knockout rushed forward, grabbing the staff and shoving it further into Lio's neck.

"Scrap," Ratchet mutters as she watches the scene unfold with Ironhide and Lio.

Ratchet dodged a strike from Barricade's flail. She spins it around with a grin.

"Focus on me, doctor, and not your allies," Barricade swung the flail again, stopped mid-swing by Ratchet's magnets, and she punched Barricade in the stomach; grabbing her head, she spun around and threw Barricade towards Bumblebee, who uppercuts her before she had to duck and turn around Blackjack.

Blackjack turns and looks down at Bumblebee, who quickly stands up, uppercutting the Decepticon; she then jabs her in the stomach and gives her a quick right cross. Blackjack growls as she stumbles back, attempting to blast Bumblebee, who quickly closes the distance; wrapping an arm around her hand, she forces the blaster somewhere else while she elbows Blackjack in the face and flips her over.

Barricade shakes her head as she turns back to Ratchet; she blocks a punch and kicks Ratchet in her knees; as the bot falls, Barricade knees her in the face, quickly turning around to fire at Bumblebee. The scout took a step back which gave Blackjack the chance she needed to stand up.

Barricade turns her attention back to Ratchet, who blasted her away with her magnets. Barricade hissed as she stood up, rubbing the side of her face.

"Well, this is going well," Barricade grumbled.

Barricade rushed back to Ratchet, blasting at the doc bot, who used her magnets to shield herself. The biggest obstacle for Barricade to overcome was those magnets, which she needed to counter. The best she could do was stand back and hope that Knockout and Breakdown finish off the two heavy hitters.

Speaking of the pair, Knockout stood over Lio, pushing the stun staff further into his neck.

"This is taking a while," Knockout mutters. "But I hope this put you into stasis; you have a fascinating design, and I would like to look over it,"

Lio quickly grabbed Knockout's side, lifting her into the air and slamming her into the ground beside him. Holding the stun staff, Lio throws it away from the two of them while he slowly tries to get his bearings. Knockout hissed as she took out a buzzsaw.

"You Autobots sure do love messing with another bot's finish," Knockout growls as she thrust the saw towards Lio, who narrowly dodged it, getting cut across his shoulders. She swings it back at him, cutting him across the back. Lio hissed in pain, and he turned to face Knockout; she leaped into the air to strike. Lio slings his arm back which sends Knockout flying into Breakdown.

Breakdown stumbled forward; Ironhide then uppercuts her, followed by a punch to her stomach and fired. Breakdown slides back into Lio, who lifts and slams her into the ground.

"So, how are you doing?" Ironhide asked Lio.

"Body's tingly from that staff; other parts ache, you?" Lio asked.

"Just a few dents, but not much," Ironhide answered.

Knockout leaped onto her back as she finished, wrapping her legs around her waist. She slammed her saw down onto Ironhide's left shoulder; Lio quickly attempted to blast Knockout off, but a hammer was hit into his knee, forcing him to the floor.

At the same time, Arcee and Cliffjumper were facing off against the first squad of vehicons while the second approached the garage door. Arcee backflips away from the upcoming fire of the vehicons while Cliffjumper rushes forward, punching one of the vehicons across her face, shattering her visor. The other three quickly turn to fire at Cliffjumper, which allows Arcee to rush in; she leaps onto one of the vehicon shoulders and swiftly cuts the back of her neck with her blades; she jumps off the vehicon but is grabbed and thrown to the ground.

Cliffjumper shoulder charged the vehicon away from Arcee before she quickly gunned her down; the vehicon with the shattered visor slowly rose, aiming Cliffjumper, but she was shot in the stomach by Arcee. Cliffjumper turns to Arcee and nods.

"Come on, we have to get to them before they find what we're looking for and Hot Rod," Arcee told her.

"Yeah yeah," Cliffjumper says as she turns around, blasting the remaining vehicon.

"See, this is far more interesting than the boring tour my dad always takes people on," Sari told Sam, "Usually, show them one of his lame projects, but more of his cooler things are here,"

Sari gestures to everything in the room, technology that looks more alien than human: several nice cars, a cube in the center of the room held in place by some machine. The device had the cube float and spun in one spot. Several other things were around, like arcade games, a mechanical bull, and other trinkets.

"This place is very decked out," Sam mutters; he then points to the cube, "What is that thing anyways?"

"I dunno, I think it either powers the whole building, just this section….or it's just a nice display, like those floating globe thingies," Sari answered with a shrug, "Who cares anyways? It's cool to look at.'

"Why would you have a power source in a room with several other things?" Sam asked, "Seems like you're asking for an accident,"

"Isn't that the same for everything? Like outlets and such?" Sari asked Sam, "Now stop talking about that. Let's do something fun. Oh, let's play that arcade game,"

The pair walked over to the arcade machine; as they passed the cube, it slowly started to spark as it spun much faster. The sparks grew brighter as the cube began to glow and spun faster. The sound of the cube spinning caught Sam's attention, and he turned around to face it. Sam watches as it spins out of control; he turns to Sari to ask her about it when the cube suddenly flies out, heading straight toward them. Sam insistently pushes Sari out of the way while the cube hits him in the chest, sending him into a wall; sparks fly off the cube, hitting the ground or wall; one arch of energy hits Sam's forehead, which makes him move it to the ground.

"Told you," Sam groaned as he rubbed his forehead, suddenly developing a killer headache. "Ugh…you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine, though I can't help but think you really are a loser or just a bad luck magnet," Sari bends down to his level, "First my dog and now a cube,"

"Is this the time for jokes?" Sam asked as he stood up.

"No, probably not; now help me put this back before my dad comes," Sari told him.

"Aw man, we need to put it back in before my dad comes," Sari says as she picks it up.

An explosion shakes the room; Hot Rod curses while the kids look around.

"What was that?" Sam asked.

"Probably my dad blew something up," Sari waved it off.

A shadow passed the door; peering into the small window, Hot Rod noticed the familiar glow of a vehicon visor, cursing to herself yet again.

"Fine, guess we're doing this my way," Hot Rod said as she transformed and grabbed the cube from Sari, "Sorry, bud, but I need this," She said as she transformed.

"Hey!" Sari opened the door and hopped into the car to grab it. Sam groans and follows, mainly trying to pull her out.

Hot Rod groans and does a donut, forcing Sam inside as she closes and locks her doors, wrapping them in her seat belt.

"Hey!" Sari shouted

"Hey, wow, wow, let us go, and you can have the thing, okay!?" Sam shouted.

"What, no way! My dad needs it!" Sari shouted.

"Just chill out; once I get this thing and you to safety, you can return. Without this thing, of course," Hot Rod said; finally, the vehicon pulled open the garage door and looked inside.

Hot Rod sped out of the garage, hitting the vehicon in the face as she drove by. Three more vehicons aimed at Hot Rod when Cliffjumper came in, punching one of them.

"Go! Get out of here!" Arcee ordered,

"Right away," Hot Rod says.

Hot Rod sped away, Sam and Sari being pushed back into the seats, attempting to hold onto anything while they were both scared and confused. Giant fighting women, a giant woman who turned into a car or vice versa, are now in the middle of this current fight.

Hot Rod passes Bumblebee, who Blackjack backhanded. She walked forward, attempting to grab Bumblebee, but stopped as Hot Rod opened fire on her back as she drove by. Blackjack attempts to return fire, but Bumblebee trips her, mounting Blackjack and delivering blow after blow to her face.

"All Decepticons, stop that car with the flames on it!" Barricade ordered.

Breakdown swings her hammer to Ironhide, who leaps back. Breakdown looks at the car heading straight toward them, "I got it!"

"No!" Ironhide shouted as she dove towards her.

Breakdown fired her missile before she was taken to the ground. Hot Rod drove headfirst for the missile and dodged it at the last second.

Knockout looks at the car, then at Lio; she picks up her stun staff and rushes towards Lio spinning it. She went to thrust it into his neck again, but he caught the staff, quickly knocking it away; grabbing her neck, he raised her into the air while reeling his fist back.

"NOT THE FACE!" She shouted; he only punched her in the face, sending her far with the punch.

"Hey, how are you all doing? Hey new girl, but we need to go now and fast!" Hot Rod shouted.

"Girl? That's a guy? And what's going on!" Sari shouted.

"Those guys on the ground, aka the ones losing, are the bad ones, we're the good ones, and that cube is something from our planet that we need for our war," Hot Rod quickly explains.

"That raises more questions than answers!" Sam shouted.

"I'll explain it all once we get out of here," Hot Rod told him. Lio quirks a brow.

"Um…who are you talking to?" Lio asked.

"Um…" Hot Rod rolls down her window, showing him the kids.

A groundbridge opens behind them while Ironhide gets up.

"That's ours; let's move!" Ironhide shouted as she stomped on Breakdown's chest as she attempted to stand up.

"Let's move," Ratchet told Bumblebee.

The scout nods and transforms, heading straight towards the portal, Arcee and Cliffjumper following her. Ratchet faced both Barricade and Blackjack, pushing them back with her magnets before she followed after her allies.

Hot Rod drives through first, followed by the other Autobots. Once Ratchet was in, Ironhide quickly rushed in while Lio promptly backed into the portal, firing at the Decepticons rushing at them.

The portal quickly closed once Lio was inside. Barricade growls as she puts away her weapons and looks around the field. All the vehicons were dead; Knockout was on the ground crying over her finish and all the dents and scratches, while Breakdown stood back up rubbing her chest.

"Soundwave, we need a groundbridge," Barricade called over her comms, seconds later one opened behind her, "Let's get out of here before the human show up, we may not have what we came from, but we do have something that can help."

"You didn't retrieve the energy source!?" Starscream shouted as she stared down at Barricade.

Barricade looks up at Starscream, "We didn't account for an Autobot already being inside. From the looks of it, that was the Autobot we caught alone when we first came here. The vehicon would've grabbed it if it wasn't for her. Aside from her, nearly every Autobot was there, besides Optimus and Prowl, including the freak."

Starscream looks at Barricade, who goes on to continue.

"However, the surviving Vehicon did get a good look at the power source; she says it's a cube with Cybertronian hieroglyphs…ancient cybertronian. She also says that Hot Rod has picked up two humans, possibly workers, inside the building."

"Hieroglyphs?" Starscream questioned. "And it's on a cube…could it be?"

"Could it be what, my lady?" Breakdown asked.

Starscream looks at her and waves her off, "It doesn't matter. Head to the med bay and patch yourselves up. Those Autobots did a number on each of you,"

The Decepticons nod and walk out of the bridge; Starscream turns to Soundwave.

"Find out what ancient artifact the Autobots just got their hands on," Starscream ordered as she walked back to the throne and sat down,

A/N Hey, hey! I hope you guys enjoyed it. Sam and Sari have been introduced to the Autobots, Hot Rod and Bumblebee are back, and now the Autobots have a mystery cube. What could it be?

This character was supposed to be out Friday and then the weekend. I watched Guardians of the Galaxy 3, and it left me just broken, man. The best MCU movie to come out recently is probably among the top 5 if not the top 3.
