Carlisle was stitching Bella's arm after cleaning the wound properly, Carlisle could tell that the person who tried to help Bella has no medical background, and it would just leave unnecessary scarring. the door bell ringed and Carlisle asked Edward to take over for a brief second. Edward began stitching and Bella flinches.
"Does it hurt?" Edward asked.
"A bit" Bella admits. "But it's okay" Bella said trying to sit still.
Carlisle signed the package and took it to his office, It was a wedding anniversary gift for Esmee.
"You know I think Carlisle is using different needles, I hardly feel a thing when he was stitching" Bella said not looking at her arm to avoid getting anxious by the needle going through her skin. Both of the men chuckled in response.
it wasn't true, Edward is using the same needle Carlisle placed down to answer the door. but Carlisle is more skilled than Edward since he's been in the Medical field for over 300 years.
"Very good Edward" Carlisle complimented him and bandaged Bella's arm.
Bella seems a bit zoned out like she's in deep thoughts, her thoughts will always be barred to Edward but could understand what she's thinking of.
"You're ok?" Edward asked.
"Yes, Im just hurt that Jacob is with Leah now, I truly thought we would move to Hawaii together and start a family"
"But I guess luck has never been on my side" Bella said.
"Bella maybe you can try to." Edward began.
"No! I made it very clear I'm done with you" Bella said losing her temper.
"I do not wish to date any of you,"
"Please listen to me before you get upset," Edward said. " I mean try again with a human"
"Maybe they are a lot less trouble than any of us" Edward said.
"Well I'll never love a human as much as my Jae.. well he's not mine anymore.. but I think my heart is bound to the super natural" Bella said.
"I could try again in the future but I want to establish a career first" After all your career is full of opportunities that never runs out" Bella said.

Edward knows she's still choosing a career over him because she's scared.
"Well I'm not human, my love is eternal" Edward said and Bella began grey rocking eying the new colour of her bandage.
"Bella" Edward said.
"Edward" Carlisle interrupted, "Billy called, the wolves want to join our side to keep Bella safe"
"They wish to speak with us about that" Carlisle said.
"Okay, but I need to hunt first.. Bella didn't have any breakfast" Edward said.
"I can buy something on my way there" Bella said.
Edward wanted to have a word with Bella alone but it has to wait,
"You Can go hunt, I'll stay with Carlisle until you come back" Bella said.
"Okay" Edward gave in and gave Bella money and pushed her towards Carlisle gently.
"Make sure she's safe" Edward said leaving without giving her an affectionate kiss on her forehead like he usually does.
"Is he upset with me?" Bella wondered.
"No, he's thirsty.. vampires are easily angered around that time, after he hunted he'll be back to his usual self" Carlisle said.

Billy came with Leah and Seth for protection as he spoke to Edward and Carlisle,
In order to keep Bella guarded she must leave to Denali until everything is safe, Billy offered Seth to come with them to Denali since Future foreseeing vampires won't be able to see them. But Edward decided it's not a good idea. It will be harder to smell a human in Denali but a werewolf can easily be detected and he doesn't want Seth to get harmed.
Leah had no idea vampires can't use their powers on Werewolves, that could come in handy..
Edward told Billy that there might be more vampires out there who could want to harm Bella and the Cullens.
Edward described them to Billy and the Quileutes tribe listened attentively.
minutes later Jacob arrived at the Cullen's backyard in Wolf form, Vampires still aren't trust worthy so his pack remain wolves, Jacob eyed Bella uncertain but keeps his distance.
Bella noticed him on his guard and so careful. he still limps and he looks injured and tired from yesterdays ordeal.
Bella was hurt she still feel upset about the imprinting but knows that she shouldn't be angry with Jacob for something that's not his fault, He never wanted to be with Leah and it seems like he's trying to break from the imprinting and make his own choice. Bella didn't want Leah to dislike her more so she won't give Jacob any reasons to leave her behind.
Bella watched Carlisle talk to Billy apologizing for what the other vampires have done to the reservation and is willing to help them move to a different Area so that they can find Solace.
Jacob came towards her and Bella eyed him, he grumbled poking his muzzle against her arm like he wants to interact a large tear fell from his eye and reached a hand towards his large head.
"No Jae, don't be sad now.. I shouldn't have lashed out like that, it was out of your control and..
"Oh Jae" Bella said and tried to hug him as best as she could. "You have a choice, If things are not right for you then the universe will provide something better"
"But until then you need to do your best, to secure the bloodline and and be with Leah.. After all she deserves happiness too.

Jacob lowered his head and Bella caressed his fur and leaned against his shoulder as they sat down.
It became Night the Cullens were permitted to accompany the wolves to a new reservation. When everything has been built her the treaty line at the destroyed reservation will still remain but the Quileute tribe will be a bit lenient towards the Cullens if they ever need to go to La push for emergency reasons.
So far small cottages were built and a high school is in progress to be built.

Edward watched their interaction, He became jealous but according to Jacob's thought he's just relieved that forgiveness is possible between them.
Edward isn't happy with having Jacob around Bella, he knows he's going to try again because he rather see Bella unhappy alone than happy with a bloodsucker.
Bella noticed Edward coming and she went towards him. "Edward I'm going to rest now" Bella said.
"Sleep tight we'll leave early" Edward said, he touched her scalp and she retreated inside her cottage.
Jacob remained seated leaning his back against the door to make sure Bella can rest without any danger.
Jacob was thinking about all the wonderful things he would do with her. And Edward tried to move away but even after a distance between them he could still hear about his fantasies.
"Can you please control your thoughts?" Edward said and Jacob looked up. He was in the shadows near a tree and came towards him.
"What?" Jacob said.
"Your thoughts are loud it's like you're screaming them at me" Edward said.
"Well I didn't ask you to listen, go somewhere else" Jacob said dismissive.
"I wish I could but I'm not going anywhere without Bella" Edward said.
"Well neither will I, get over it" Jacob said.
"I can't get over you being all over her, you have found your mate Jacob"
"why can't you just accept that and let me win her back?" Edward said.
"Never" Jacob said, " I still have a choice to choose her"
"And If this whole vampire thing is over, I want her to choose me" Jacob said.
Edward growled hearing another thought from Jacob, He thought about Bella being pregnant with his baby glowing happily from head to toe.
"Are you going to fight me If she leaves you behind?" Jacob said taunting.
"That won't happen" Edward said annoyed but Jacob remained nonchalant.
"what If it does.." Jacob said.
"No.. I left her in the worst way possible, You stitched her back up" Edward said.
"if she chooses you then I'll accept you are better.. for now" Edward said.
"For now?" Jacob asked.
"I've heard Leah's thoughts she won't tolerate Bella as a second wife, You won't be able to stay away from Leah" Edward said and Jacob wasn't thrilled, he wished he could tell Leah to go to hell but since he's imprinted on he's walking on egg shells to avoid setting her off.
"I don't understand it Vampire" Jacob said,
"Why hate the idea of losing her now?" you whole act of not caring about her was used to send her towards a different way,"
"She came towards us" and now you're doing everything you can to snatch her away from the path you chose for her" Jacob said.
"I wanted her out of danger" Edward said.
"Then why not leave again and let us guard her?" Jacob said,
"I made her a new promise I won't ever do that, " Edward said.
"Besides those vampires killed almost all of you, how you do you think you are going to protect Bella when more of them come?" Edward asked.
"They didn't come after her," Jacob said. "It's my pack they wanted, I killed a Vampire who wanted to harm Bella"
"So that's your fault, If you didn't leave she wouldn't have tried to find the meadows and run into him" Jacob said.
" I know, thank you for saving her Jacob, I'll always be in your debt"
"but I will not back down, I love her and Unlike you there is nobody in this world that I love more than Bella" Edward said.
"She never has to share me but with you it's like renting her for a weekend until you go back to Leah,"
"But unlike me, I never turned my back on her completely, with me she has security, with you she only has vague promises that you can modify whenever it suits you" Jacob said.
"First you said you were never going to leave her, and then you said you'll stay as long as it's good for her" Jacob said.
"What if you brother takes another bite at her, or think about all the reasons you decide to leave, what kind of guarantee will she have that it will never happen again?" Jacob asked spiteful.
"Yet you wonder why she doesn't want to come back to you, maybe because you are a liar" Jacob said.
"I lied to save her," Edward said. "Unlike you I want her to be happy, even without me.. you would rather have Bella be miserable with you than be happy without you" Edward said.
"Really?" Jacob said. " If you stayed away longer you would have seen a happy Bella, married to me and have our children" Jacob said.
"Something you can never give her"
"I can" Edward said, "She can become pregnant through IVF and I'll raise her children with her, I don't care If it's biological impossible to become a father, I will love any child that comes from Bella more than anything in this world"
"And risk the chance that you'll have your human children as dinner?" you truly are a sick man Cullen" Jacob said.
"I'm in control of that" Edward said.
"What if one of them is your singer? they'll have their mothers blood" Jacob said.
"Face it, no matter how many excuses you have or how much you want to give her.. I will always be a better choice" Jacob said.
"You shouldn't have left, or you could have let the venom spread when that leech bit her, At least you wouldn't have broken the treaty and you would have your happily ever after" Jacob said.
"You wanted her to be human so do the right thing and just stay away from Bella" Jacob said.
"Never" Edward said breaking the silence, He was fuming and wanted nothing more than a fight.
"If I let her change then she would have to fake her death, leaving all of her loved ones heartbroken.. Her father would have died without her by his side. I'm able to look beyond my selfish desire and try to do what's right for her" Edward said.
"You're not what's rights for her" Jacob said,
"Bella will decide that, only she can do so but not you" Edward said.
The door of his cottage opened and Leah stepped out eying Jacob, "Are you coming to bed or not?" Leah asked.
"No" Jacob said short.
"Okay but can you have your little slap fest elsewhere?" Leah said, "I'm trying to sleep"
"Or maybe you should date each other since you bicker more than a married couple"
"Leah please just go away, I'm having a discussion" Jacob said and Leah went back inside
'I'm so tired of hearing about leech lover, why can't that vampire just leave with her so that Jacobs moaning will stop?'
Edward smiled hearing Leah's thoughts, "You won't get rid of me that easily Jacob.. Like I said Leah will not tolerate Bella no matter what you'll say" Edward said.
"I didn't imprint on her, I can walk away from Leah anytime" Jacob said.
"Prove it" Edward dared, " Go up there and tell her you are leaving"
"I will, but not now, we need more werewolves, after that I'm going back to Bella If you get in away then I hope you are ready to fight" Jacob said.
"So you're going to spawn a litter and leave the raising to Leah?' Edward said.
"No, I've always looked after people, I've treated the children in my tribe as my own siblings and I will look after Bella" Jacob said nonchalant, Edward was a little surprised at Jacob's chance of attitude.

"Even If you weren't a vampire you would still be very annoying, I don't like human's that much.. except for Bella and anyone who likes her" Jacob said.
"But not you, I hate you" Jacob said calm like he's having a small talk. It was so strange to have Jacob allowing Edward to sit next to him.
"I do hope you can get over yourself one day and just forget this petty rivalry" Edward said.
"Oh you wish Cullen" Jacob said.
"As long as you are still breathing I'll always despise you" The day where I'll be happy to see you is the day where I can kill you myself" Jacob said.
"Lovely" Edward said sarcastic, " You can do that If Bella passed away, You can have your revenge" Edward promised.
"I'll keep you to it" Jacob said and for once Jacob smiled at Edward.
"You'll never hate me more than I hate myself, so If Bella dies.. you know what to do.. you'll save me a trip to the Volturi" Edward said.
"What.. what's that?' Jacob stuttered.
" A vampire Clan Italy," Edward said.
"Great.. more of you disgusting leeches.." Jacob groaned fed up.
"Well at least I have something to do after I've taken care of you" Jacob said.
"You'll go after the Volturi?" Edward asked.
"If there will be a legion of us, then yes.. Vampires need to go, and your kind should know that you aren't the most dangerous beings on this Earth" Jacob said.
"Even my family?" Edward asked.
"Of course not, we got a treaty remember?" Jacob said.
"Oh Sorry" Edward said.
"I'll just have to wait until any of you break the treaty and I'll be ready" Jacob said.
"Ahem" they heard and Jacob shot an annoyed look at Leah. "What? I'm talking!" Jacob snaps.
"If you're going to stay up all night you'll be unfit to patrol" Leah said.
"Well you heard your wife" Edward said.
"Shes not my!" Jacob snarled at Edward.
"Grrrr You're.. go to Hell " Jacob said wishing he could throw Edward off a mountain.
"Go on be a good boy" Edward said like he's talking to a dog and Jacob felt his blood boil.
"Killing you would be the most satisfying thing ill do on this planet Cullen" You better watch it" Jacob said and went inside the house without looking over his shoulder.
Edward looked at the ocean from where he was sitting, the wind was crisp, Bella has forgiven Jacob for imprinting on Leah but still.
He doesn't feel that Bella and him are back on square one. He keeps having faith in his sisters vision. She has seen them together. No matter what Bella chooses in between, she will end up with him one day.

Leah then stood up, disposed of her revealing nightgown and got into some casual clothing with a belt where spare clothing can be concealed in. and carefully sneaked out of the cottage. She turned into a wolf and ran towards the Hoh forest, after hours of traveling she picked up a scent and changed into the clothing be brought.
Leah went to the area where Hikers have been reported missing and waited there.
Leah looked above the trees when the scent became stronger.
"Come out, I know you are there" Leah said.
"You want to get rid of the swan girl right? To avenge your mate" Leah beamed.
"I can help with that" "I hate her just as much as you do" Leah said her voice echoed and after a moment footsteps was heard in the distance.
Blazing red hair was seen through the the trees and Leah knew her problematic relationship with her imprinted mate will be solved.
