Edward was waiting in silence, he ignored everyone as he thought about Bella, his phone buzzed several times and looked at it, Carlisle was calling him but he didn't respond.
he then received a text with Carlisle asking if he can come back home his mother is worried about him.
anger stirred he didn't want to speak to any of them, none of them is worth staying for and placed the phone in his pocket so that no by stander could see him break the phone into dust with one hand. It won't be long until Alice will see what he's planning but when she does he'll already be on the plane.
None of them will understand how Bella has shaped his universe, and her passing was like an asteroid crashing down destroying everything with fire and brimstone.

He then rises from his seat, tugging a luggage along, he entered the jet, it was neat and the seats were spaced out, he could just lay down and think about the wonderful memories he had before Bella as a human, it's vague he doesn't remember specific details anymore but one of the things were very dear to him.

Carlisle placed the phone down after trying to call Edward several times fearing that Edward will leave for good this time. The way he shouted at him, the pain and fury all of his face when Edward blamed him for Bella's passing, he knows there is no chance of being forgiven or reconcile.. nothing will bring Bella back so there will always be turmoil.
Edward will never show his face at his doorstep again, It was sad but no matter how long it takes for Edward to return if there is a small chance the door will always be open.
Carlisle was sad to know that Edward blames himself and every single one of his kind for what happened to Bella, if only there was a way to help him.
"Have you heard anything?" Esme asked when Carlisle retreated from the balcony,
"No" Carlisle said disheartened.
Carlisle sighed and at on the sofa while Esme sat next to him placing a hand on his in comfort.
"Have I done the right thing Esme?" Carlisle asked,
"Shouldn't I have just let Edward pass away?" Carlisle asked looking at his wife's hand still resting on his guilty.
Esme firmed her grip, understanding what he means,
"Carlisle, you granted his mothers last wish.. She asked you to save him" Esme said.
" I know that, but.. his whole existence is nothing but dread, I never had any struggle being a vampire because I believe my soul is still of a human being."
" You're only a monster if you act like one, that's what I've always tried to teach my children but I should have known that not everybody feels the same way" Carlisle said.
" I feel like I'm an antagonist" And now Edward is gone because I failed to help him" Carlisle said.
"What happened to Bella is not your fault Carlisle" Esme said sympathetic.
" It is, I should have known better than allow him to come near a human, I should have been on Billies side when Edward started dating Bella, Be more authoritative and home school my children instead of having this ridiculous faith in them that they will never act out on their primal urges, what If there was a Singer for Alice in high school, or yours?" Carlisle said.
" I should have known better than thinking restraint and compassion for a human is enough to reintegrate into civilization"
" But I will not make the same mistake again Esme, I'll accept that death is part of a human life and I will no longer interfere with that" Carlisle added.
What will you do now?" Esme said.
"I'll be part of the vampire world once more, I'll retire as heart surgeon Bella wouldn't have died and Edward wouldn't have suffered this much If I knew my place." Carlisle said.
"Carlisle.. I know that there is nothing I can do to change your mind but you gave all of your children a wonderful gift, letting them govern themselves letting them choose their own life without interfering instead of treating them as birds with clipped wings" Esme said.
"You've done the best you could, but at times doing your best will not stop any catastrophe, but no matter what you decide darling I will follow you" Esme said.
" You have shown me endless love, and I don't want to continue living in the human world without you" Esme said.
"What about the others?" Carlisle said,
"They can look after themselves if they wish to stay behind in Forks but I will come with you" Esme said.
"I love you so much" Esme said tip toeing, Carlisle lowered down and Alice hurried in.
They broke from the kiss abruptly when Alice called Carlisle name anxiously.
"What is it now?" Carlisle said slightly agitated, "Sorry I didn't mean to disturb but I went to Bella's grave and.." Alice said.
" You need to see it for yourself" Alice said taking Carlisle's hand and Esme looked puzzled.
"What about her grave? Esme wondered.. hopefully her memorial hasn't been trashed by due to vandalism. But Alice didn't ask Esme to come with them so she will wait at home for their return.
Carlisle and Alice visited the centenary they they hurried towards Bella's grave,
"Alice are you sure about this?" Carlisle asked.
"Yes I'm sure my visions were never incorrect" Alice said.
And Carlisle looked at the destroyed grave in the distance.
"So it is true" Carlisle said amazed,
"Well I told you" Alice said,
"I still can't believe that this has happened" Alice said,
"Gosh.. we need to find Edward before.." Alice didn't finish her sentence when a vision came through her.
Edward walked towards the exit of the gate, a loud tear echoed when Edward rips his blouse out of the way, the sun shined over him and it caught the attention of the human's presents, he knows the Volturi will come.
He smiled thinking of Bella before hostile hands grabbed him yanking him back into their underground dungeon and hear about the consequences of not obeying the rule of secrecy there.
Death penalty..
"Alice?" Carlisle said holding her shoulder.
"No Edward!" Alice said.
"What's wrong?" Carlisle asked
" We need to stop him, He's going to Volterra!" Alice yelled and sprinted back to the Volvo.
When she started the engine Carlisle got in the passenger seat just in time before Alice drove off.
"Where is Edward now?" Carlisle said, Alice lowered her gaze trying to see something.
"We are too late, he al ready arrived in Italy" Alice said defeated.
"Can you please talk to them? You used to be part of it maybe they can do you a favor and spare him" Alice said.
Carlisle didn't respond when he tried to call for Edward's cellphone but there was no response," I have an idea"
"Alice can you see where he is now?" Carlisle asked, there could be only one way to save him.
"Yes," Alice said, He's going to expose himself to sun light, we won't reach him in time"
" We will Alice" maybe not in person but we can still try and talk him out of this" Carlisle said.
"What if he won't believe us?" Alice said trying to look and see if she can find a number
"Then we've done everything we could" Carlisle said disheartened.

Edward's request to end his life has been denied due to his mind reading abilities, He didn't want to go home and just merely exist as he slumps back from the camber.
Edward breathed out being in pain once more, he couldn't remember when he lost his footing but in a split moment he laid on the cold stone floor, why Is it so hard for anyone to just grand his wish, is this his eternal punishment for letting Bella die?
There has to be a way out, he could no longer carry this pain every second his torment becomes worse, when he was in the private jet on his way to Italy only then the pain became a lot less.. but now with another request denied the crippling sorrow swipes right through him like invisible blades.
But now it's not the time to cry, he needs to find a way out Now that he's here he needs to think of a reason to have him killed.
Stepping into the sunlight will not be enough for humanity to see that he is a vampire, If that won't get a reaction out of them then
he'll needs to feed on human's. He won't lose his morals despite having his pain increased with each second being without Bella. He will feed on the worst type of people.
If provoking them won't work he'll find an active volcano and just jump right in it, no matter what he will not remain here falling into nothingness.
Edward made his way to the exit gate as the festival was on going he walked passed a secretary lobby, there was a woman sitting there, a human female.
Edward didn't look at her direction and heard the celebration sound become louder, the phone rang at the desk and the woman picked up right away,
"Good afternoon"?
"One moment please."
"Mister Edward Cullen?" Gianna said.
Edward perked slightly when his name was called out but walked further towards the gate.
she wants to be a vampire so bad, well she'll see for herself what kind of vile creatures vampires are when I have mascaraed a chunk of the audience Edward thought.
"Please wait, your family is one the phone" Gianna pointed out.
Edward snarled looking over his shoulder, he turned towards her in a split second,
" Leave me alone.. If you know what's good for you human" Edward threatened. her heartbeat quickened clutching the phone but she remained seated.
"It's about Bella" Gianna said, " They have news about her"
Edward breathed out his body felt weak when he heard her name, what kind of news? joy and pain surges through him.
what if Bella.?
No.. she's dead.. I've seen her die.. I heard her heart stop.. but whatever they have to say about her.. it will never ease my sorrow.
he looked at the gate like it was his only escape from hell on Earth and then he walked over to her desk.
Gianna flinched as Edward reached his hand towards the phone she's holding.
"Give it" Edward ordered and Gianna gave him the phone, at least If his mother is calling he can hear her out and then give her a brief goodbye.
"Edward! don't do this" Alice said,
"Goodbye Alice" Edward said dismissive.
"No! Bella is alive!" It's all a misunderstanding." Alice said.
"How?" Edward asked angry
" She didn't wake up, I waited for days and there was no sign of life.. " Edward said trying to keep his composure, he was so furious but at the same time felt so liberated.
Could it really be true?...no this has to be part of Alice plan to prevent him from destroying himself.
" Alice if you are lying I swear I'll wring your neck !" Edward warned.
" No Edward I'm not lying to you," Alice said. "I've seen a vision of her come out of the grave seeking refuge to control her thirst."
" If you want I'll go to her grave right now and you can meet everyone there" Alice said.
" Please come home and see for yourself" Alice said becoming emotional. Edward didn't respond he lowered the phone but couldn't find the strength to end the call.
'Let me speak to him' Carlisle said in the background to Alice.
there was ruffles heard on the other end and Carlisle made Edward snap out of his thoughts of Bella.
" Edward. please come back, we'll get you a plane ticket." Carlisle said.
"Tell Esme I said goodbye" Edward said not believing any of this, If the venom has spread successfully she would have rise in 24 hours.
" No don't. Edward please I don't want to lose a son" Carlisle said. " Bella survived and I promise you we'll find her"
" She's dead Carlisle, If the venom had spread successfully then she would have been turned by now" Edward said becoming agitated.
"Listen, she came out of the grave, the coffin she laid in has been burst open Alice has seen her come out" Carlisle said.
" Please give us a chance to prove that Alice's vision is right, don't do this Edward" Carlisle pleads.
" What if she's wrong?" Edward snaps. " I can't even look at Bella's grave without feeling this horrible pain.. I failed her.. listen Carlisle It's better If I don't go anywhere near you"
" I don't want to see anyone.. especially you" Edward said.
" You don't have to, you don't have to deal with any of us ever again but we are telling you the truth, You're just going to cause Bella pain If she finds out you're dead." Carlisle said, no mean word would make Carlisle's love for him waver, Edward could sense it. He then decided to give in.
It all seems not to make any sense, the only explanation to this could be the Lazarus effect, where a person dies and wake up during the burial ceremony, and if that happened to Bella the venom could have spread faster towards her now beating heart.
" Alice is right, None of us are lying but please.. don't go, I love you.. we all do" Carlisle said becoming sad.
"If she was indeed dead we would respect your decision to leave this world no matter how painful it will be but Bella is alive, and we need you here to find her" Carlisle said.
"Swear to me this is not a trap," Edward snapped as he trembled with rage.
"Don't you dare lie to me because If I get over there for nothing I'll never forgive you" Edward warns.
" I promise Edward.. I'm not deceiving you, and I never did" Carlisle.
"have I?" Carlisle urges.
" No.." Edward said quiet.
" Then you know what to do, come home and we'll keep our distance until you found her" Carlisle said.
" I had another vision.. Bella is still in the forest" Edward could hear Alice say.
"..Bella is alive.. there is no reason to doubt us" Carlisle.
" Which forest? Where is she?" Edward demanded.
"She recently left the Meadows, but I don't know where she's going now" Alice said.
" I need to see her empty grave for myself, In the meantime.. please just leave me alone" Edward said and closes the phone.
Edward's demeanor towards Gianna changed no longer being hostile. she pretty much saved his life.
"I'm sorry.." Edward murmured.
" Can I get you anything?" Gianna asked.
Edward eyes became gentle warm brown," No.. but If I were you I'd get out without looking back.. they are not going to turn you into a vampire.. you'll be their dinner instead" Edward said.
" That could be the outcome but I'm sure they won't do that" Gianna said assuming her loyalty will spare her.
" I'm a mind reader, I know how they truly feel about you.. trust me you don't want to stay here.." Edward said and left letting her decide her own fate.
