Amanojaku = minor Oni
"W-what the hell?"
Miko sheathed Kurikaramaru and glanced back, seeing that Endeavor was kneeling up with Hawks' help. Her eyes remained dark as she noticed the grave injury on the man's face, 'I was–I was–I was–I was–' She shook, 'A FAILURE! Onii-san would be disappointed!'
"What a pathetic start," Endeavor brought his hand up to his injury, "To need a child for a task meant for us." He grit his teeth, ignoring the pain of his wounds.
"W-what did Miko-chan even do?" Hawks laughed nervously, "She just turned that Nomu into dust, just like that," He shook his head, "Come on, Endeavor-san, we really need to get your injury checked out."
Miko turned to walk back to the two, intending on healing the Oni's wound that should not have happened to begin with, but she tensed, "There's someone here!" She warned, grabbing the blue hilt of Kurikaramaru.
Hawks and Endeavor looked up, taken back by Miko's shout as they had never heard her speak so loud before and golden eyes turned impassive.
"Things completely did not go the way I expected them to, but that's fine," An amused voice called out and an ominous figure approached them, "Well then, Endeavor, should I say nice to meet you?" A strange-looking being smirked, "I didn't expect to see someone like that little girl though."
Miko stepped forward, despite Hawks' panicked warning, "Another Oni?" She tilted her head before finally sniffing airily, "Barely perhaps. The lowest, an Amanojaku?" She seemed to muttered to herself, "Not a threat."
"That's Dabi of the League of Villains, Miko-chan!" Hawks shouted, "He's one of the biggest threat out there!" He held tightly to Endeavor as he attempted to move forward, "Endeavor-san, you're too injured to go against someone like Dabi right now!"
"He's the one who murdered Snatch!" Endeavor retorted angrily, still holding his eye and infuriated that a child was still fighting their battles for them.
"I was here to collect that Nomu's body, but that seems impossible now, doesn't it?" Dabi stated casually, eyeing Miko intently, "What did you do to it, kid? It's nothing but ash now."
"An Amanojaku controlling a Nue?" Miko huffed in disbelief, drawing her sword, "You have hurt those who are near me. That goes against pack laws," Her eyes darkened until they seemed like they were nothing but black, "I will have your head."
Suddenly, a wall of blue flames were surrounding them all, yet Miko seemed utterly unaffected, "I have seen the flames of hell. What is this compared to that, Amanojaku?"
"Sorry, kid, don't know what the hell an 'Amanojaku' is." A massive wave of blue flame fired in her direction and Miko could feel Hawks' feathers try to pull her away, but she nullified his ability with her spiritual energy and simply raised her free hand, producing a barrier that easily reflected the blue flames.
She tensed, readying herself and sprung forward as soon as the flames stopped, moving as fast as her Alpha had beaten into her and her blade was at Dabi's throat within a second, "Why send the Nue lookalike?" She asked the last question of his life.
"I bet Shigaraki is watching all this go down," Miko froze when a rough hand ruffled her hair, like a certain someone in her past used to, "And he's going to want to snatch you up." Dabi leered and Miko was just about to thrust her arms forward when the ground shook heavily and she momentarily lost her balance, allowing Dabi to jump back and form a distance between them.
"I saw the news and came hopping! Endeavor! Hawks! And Hawks' Sidekick! You don't get to have all the fun!" A white-haired woman with rabbit ears grinned as she landed roughly on the ground, causing it to shake, "You! You're with the League of Villains, right? Be prepared for your ass to be kicked!"
Dabi simply smirked in return.
