They patrolled.

But Kagome was also miffed that Hawks still stopped to do his 'fan-service', "Why..." She could feel that almost every muscle in her body was tense when he posed for a selfie with another random girl, "Why do this so often? Isn't your time more valuable than... this?"

"Heh, how do you think I moved up to the No. 2 Hero, Miko-chan?" Hawks answered, "Sadly, it's not all about how many Villains you take into custody. Popularity does factor into it as well," He grinned cheekily, "If it was all about popularity, it probably would be all the lady Heroes! You might even creep into there once your cute face gets out there~"

Kagome looked at him like he was insane, "There is nothing attractive about a killer," She looked down, "Why do you think I was confined to that room?" Her dull eyes stayed listless, "I feel no remorse for killing whom I was ordered to kill."

"You were used, plain and simple," Hawks' eyes darkened, "What the HPSC did to you was wrong, you need to understand that."

"I was just a dog, looking for a family," Kagome murmured, unable to look up, "You might be Tengu, but even Kurikaramaru has accepted you."

"Ah, really?" Hawks scratched his cheek, "So I won't be stabbed or anything?" He joked, earning a side glance from the girl, "I'll try to stay on your good side, Miko-chan!"

Kagome stayed silent and Hawks sighed, suddenly grabbing her by the waist and she let out a noise of protest when she in his arms once again, "What are you doing?!" She noticed that passersby were looking at them and talking among themselves and some were even taking pictures, "Is this one of your fan things?!"

"Nope," Hawks laughed and they were in the air, "We're just gonna crash in a nice hotel room and then visit Tsukuyomi tomorrow," He said, "I'm sure U.A. will let us in as guests. And I'm sure Shouto-kun will probably be returning by tomorrow, so maybe you'll see him too."

"I don't know," Kagome slumped her head against Hawks' chest, feeling depressed and discouraged after Endeavor's rejection, "If I want to expand my pack anymore."

Hawks blinked, "But I thought packs worked better if they had more members?" He asked, and for once, cursed Endeavor in his head for his thoughtless behaviour, "But I mean if you just want a family of two for now..."

Kagome said nothing in response.

It did not take long to find a luxurious hotel as he did have the money to spend since being the No. 2 Hero did pay very well and he rented two connecting rooms (though he had a feeling that one room would not be used, but just in case!).

And he was right.

"Heh, sleeping together again?" Hawks asked, coming out of the bathroom with the hotel-provided sleepwear of just a simple shirt and black pyjama pants and finding Kagome on his bed, wearing the same thing, "What would the tabloids say?"

Blue eyes blinked and Kagome tilted her head, "I don't... know?" She said slowly, as if thinking about it, "That pack mates are sleeping close together?"

"Yeah, no," Hawks snorted at the innocent response, slightly surprised as he jumped onto the other side, "Kagome-chan, just... don't grab my wings again," He whined, "Snuggle into my front all you want though~"

Kagome looked torn, as if she wanted to retain her distance as she hid even more underneath the blanket before she realized something, "You said my name."

"Yep," Hawks shrugged, "I figured I could call you by your real name if no one was around and if you really want to, you can call me Keigo, but... eh."

Did the Tengu not like his given name?

Interesting.
