"You ready?"
Kagome let out a breath, "I have been ready for two hours now," She deadpanned, sitting on his bed, "You are the one who has been taking so long." She huffed.
"Haha," Hawks rubbed the back of his head, "Gotta look out for any cameras, ya know?" He received a blank stare in return, "I guess you wouldn't. You look cute no matter what~"
A brow twitched on Kagome's face, "Two. Hours." She crossed her arms before she looked away at the wall, "Does... does your arm hurt?" She asked quietly.
"Nope," Hawks answered cheerfully, "Not one bit," He smiled brightly, "Don't worry about it, Kagome-chan. It's over and done with. So let's go to U.A. now! I gave them a call to let them know and we'll be given access as guests for the day."
"This is where your... intern goes to... school?" Kagome asked as she stumbled over the unfamiliar, but familiar words at the same time, "And Shouto?"
"Yep, oh and head's up, Tokoyami looks... well, a little more bird-like than me at first glance, so maybe more like a Tengu?" Hawks said, looking thoughtful as they began to leave the hotel, "But he doesn't have any wings, which is a damn shame."
"So... he appears to even more of a bird than you do?" Kagome blinked, closing her eyes as she tried to recall what she could remember of the Southern Lands, "Tengu appear to be normal humans other than their eyes and wings until they transform. You fit the exact description of what a Tengu is, Hawks."
"Ah, r-really?" Hawks let out a breath, even though Kagome jumped rather gracefully on his back and without touching his wings at all, "You seem kinda used to this?" He asked out loud as he flapped a few times and they were in the air and headed towards U.A.
"This is how...?" Kagome's voice seemed strained and almost dazed and Hawks looked back in concerned when her arms around his neck began to tremble, "How me and Inu–Shikon!?" She let out a noise as if being choked and her arms slid off his body completely.
"Miko-chan!" A few of his feathers caught her before she could slip off his back, "I'm sorry for asking. That was stupid of me," His expression turned grim, 'Shikon? That's the second she said that. It means 'Four Souls', doesn't it? But what does that actually mean?'
Well, at least he would have a bunch of teachers on hand.
The rest of the flight was silent, which was fine with Hawks as he believed Kagome needed it for what was coming up and he tapped her leg when he spotted the famous school, "And we're here." He landed on the ground before the security gate, keeping a hold of the girl in case she needed it.
She did not need it.
"I am an assassin," Kagome simply stated when Hawks pouted at her and they walked through when they were cleared, "I can't show so much weakness in public. It is as you said, someone may be plotting revenge against me and could be watching me at this very moment."
"I did say that, didn't I?" Hawks sighed, "I didn't mean for you to get too paranoid over that comment, though. If you appear too tense, they could notice and it's possible they'll never show themselves before you knowing you're ready for them at any moment."
Kagome let out a noise as Hawks ruffled her hair and she flushed slightly, finding comfort in the gesture. She looked up when Hawks took away his hand from her head and she put on an impassive face, spotting a male dressed almost entirely in black leaning against the wall, looking as though he rather be somewhere else.
"Hey, Eraser Head! You here as our tour guide?" Hawks smiled in his laid back manner, earning a slightly irritated look from the Hero in black, "Can't say I expected you!" The blond glanced to Kagome, who was studying the school with keen eyes and he could not help but wonder what she was thinking.
All the auras in this... school.
It was almost overwhelming.
How intriguing.
