Freeze time?
"Is.. is that even possible?" Hawks looked slightly taken back by the thought of freezing time, "I'm not sure I've ever heard of a Quirk like that."
"Couldn't one of those Yakuza Villains do something like that?" Midnight retorted, looking towards Aizawa, who sighed loudly, "Chronostasis, was it? And what about Eri?"
"It wasn't actually freezing time itself," Aizawa crossed his arms, recalling the time he had been subdued by Chronostasis, "That Quirk slowed the target's body and movements, not time. Eri can't either. Her Quirk only works on living organisms and time isn't a living thing," He glanced up, eyeing Kagome intently, "What sort of item could possibly stop time?"
"The Hagoromo," Kagome answered, "Are you familiar with 'The Tale of Princess Kaguya'?" She asked, seeing recognition appear in the expressions on most of the faces in the room, "Yes, it is that Hagoromo. It's capable of stopping time."
"Why–how are you in possession of a celestial item, Kagome-chan?" Hawks asked in disbelief, "I mean, c'mon, is this even real? You're telling me Tennyo exist?"
"I've seen it, Hawks," Toshinori said, "The Hagoromo, at least," He rubbed his blond hair when all attention was back on him, "Well, it's true. Physical power means nothing when your opponent can literally stop time and still move. Young Kagome was on me before I knew what was happening and sealed my power with her sword within seconds," He grimaced at the memory, "She was ready to tear my throat to pieces when the HPSC contacted her through an earpiece and commanded her to stop in the nick of time."
"Err, if you were stopping time, how did the HPSC stop you, Kagome-chan?" Hawks asked, looking a little confused, "Ahh, this doesn't make any sense to me." He muttered to himself, earning an eye roll from Aizawa.
"I'm not a Tennyo nor a celestial being," Kagome hid some of her face in her scarf, "Using the Hagoromo is extremely harsh and taxing on my body, so I can't use it to its fullest extent. I was only freezing time in the location I was in. The HPSC were still able to watch my every move just fine from their own position."
"How fascinating!" Nezu clapped and Kagome almost jumped, having forgotten that he was even in the room, "All Might could have been killed a while back and none of use would have known about it or even had a clue who the murderer would have been!"
"Uh, sir, I'm not sure what would be so fascinating..." Toshinori mumbled to himself, at a loss as to why the principal looked so excited at his possible death.
Aizawa crossed his arms tighter against his chest, unsure what to think about this, "Why are you here?" He did not like the fact a person who could literally freeze time was walking around freely in the academy, "Don't you have better things to be doing, Hawks?"
Hawks smiled and opened his mouth, but Kagome cut him off before he could even speak, "You don't need to worry, Aizawa-sensei," She said, eyeing the look on his face, "I don't have the Hagoromo in my possession anymore. The HPSC always took it away after every mission," A bitter smirk appeared across her lips, "And now it appears they lost it."
"You can't be serious?!" Midnight gasped, sharing a look with Present Mic, "I know they're understaffed and overworked, but to lose an item of such importance?"
"Yo, little listener, what does this Hagoromo look like?" Present Mic asked, also looking unsettled, "I could always let loose the description of this fancy robe on my radio show."
"It's worthless to anyone else but me," Kagome fiddled with her fingers on her lap, staring at the tattooed crescent moon, "No normal human can activate its power, even with your... 'Quirks', none of you would be able to awaken it."
"Oh, and you are not a 'normal' human then?" Nezu asked serenely, causing Kagome to blink at him, "Why would you be able to activate its power and no one else?"
Kagome shrunk in her spot, cursing herself in her head and quickly tried to come up with something to say, but luckily for her, she did not need to.
"Hawks and Young Kagome came for Class 1-A, right?" Toshinori answered Aizawa's earlier question, "Or to be more specific, Young Tokoyami, correct?" He knew Kagome was staring at him closely, but Hawks threw him a grateful look.
"Yep!"
