"W-what did you do?"
Toshinori stared at his hands in disbelief, feeling a surge of power that was unfamiliar and different than One For All, but still felt incredible and though he certainly could still feel his injury, he felt better then he did in years.
"Okay, Kagome-chan, I'm not even surprised anymore," Hawks let out a breath, "Glad you're my sidekick!" He grinned almost shakily, obviously lying with his first comment as he rubbed his forehead in an inquisitive manner.
"I... owe you a lot, right?" Kagome swallowed, unable to look up as she had almost forgotten the massive size difference between them, "I'm not sure why your power is gone, so you can at least have the stored energy contained in that Ofuda," She felt her cheeks burning under those intense blue eyes of his, "It will only work in my presence though and you have to have that Ofuda fully intact and somewhere on your body."
"I..." Toshinori flexed whatever muscle he could think of, feeling the disbelief he could still see on his colleagues' faces, "I don't think I could ever thank you enough for this, Young Kagome."
Her hands immediately came to cover her mouth and she yanked up her scarf, "I-I already said I owed it to you!" She turned so he could not see her wildly flushed face when she felt a large hand gently ruffle her hair, "W-why do I have to repeat myself!" With that, she stomped over to Hawks, who looked a little vexed at the situation.
"Oh?" Midnight raised a brow, looking quite interested as she smirked, "And what does she owe you, All Might? This is quite the gift! We now have a surprise for the League of Villains!"
"That's... very personal," Toshinori answered, looking over to Hawks and Kagome as the former spoke rapidly to a cross-armed latter, "But I guess I can at least say I introduced Young Kagome to oden after I saw her poor diet," He looked down at his clenched hand, "As for the League of Villains, I still don't know what I can do yet."
Aizawa narrowed his black eyes, sharply turning to Kagome, "If you can do this much, is it possible you can do something for Togata?"
Kagome blinked, not sure who he was talking about or why his sudden change of attitude towards her, "It depends," She did not know this 'Togata's' circumstances, "But I suppose I can try." She looked towards Hawks, who smiled towards her and she felt a feather rub against her cheek.
"Really, Kagome-chan," His gold eyes shone, "You might just end up in the Top Ten if you keep this up! Guess I better watch my spot, huh?" His smile turned sympathetic when he noticed the distaste that formed in her expression, but he did notice something.
She had grown.
"Let's go," Aizawa shoved his hands into his pockets, "You can beat down Tokoyami, Midoriya, and whoever else you want. All Might, you should wait to test your strength another time. We don't need this to leak, so take that paper off. We can go to Togata after you do what you need to do."
"...All right," All Might agreed after a moment of silence, a little hesitant to lose this power so quickly after gaining it, but he knew Aizawa was right, "Another time, then." He removed the Ofuda from his chest, instantly feeling the effects of it leaving him as he returned back to his true form with a sigh.
"Time to test a bunch of kiddos," Hawks smirked, wings unconsciously spreading out, "Really hope U.A. lives up to its reputation." He knew his dear little Miko could probably use some de-stressing and a good spar always helped.
