"I want to know you."
Shouto felt surprise and then disappointment when Kagome suddenly took a few big steps back from him and he began to open his mouth to say something, but felt an abrupt pain when something was slammed into his side, causing him to go flying into the closest rock formation.
"Hey, stop flirting with Miko-chan!" Hawks growled from the air, looking a bit annoyed as he crossed his arms, "Did your father put you up to this? You better hope not for your own sake, kid!" Internally, he was panicking, 'Todoroki Kagome? No, that sounds awful, terrible! Worse than Todoroki Miko! That flaming bastard!'
"S-sorry about that, Todoroki," Tokoyami slowly got off his classmate, panting as he sat to the side, "Hawks is just so fast."
"It's fine," Todoroki, of course, felt pain from having Tokoyami smash into him without warning, "I've had worse," He glanced up into the air, 'Does Hawks feel it too?' He wondered, 'He doesn't seem to show it at all,' He blinked, 'Or maybe... he's just feeling the other side of it?'
"Did you do that on purpose?" Kagome asked as Hawks landed beside her with a big grin, "You could have hit me with your... intern. You should be more precise."
"Are you criticizing me?" Hawks fake sniffed, turning around so she could not see his face, "And here I am defending your honour from a fiery icy pup!"
"Are... are you crying!?" Kagome heard a few sniffles as she cautiously took a step closer, "I–how..." Her shaky hand landed awkwardly on his shoulder, "Hawks?"
"Aren't you the cutest, Miko-chan?" Hawks spun on his heel, ruffling her hair as her blue eyes widened once she realized she had been tricked, "So openly worried for me~!"
'I should have smelled salt,' Kagome thought as her face felt that burning sensation that was becoming too familiar, "You're unbelievable." She muttered, looking away to peer at the other students still watching cautiously from a distance.
"Perhaps she is not so frightening after all," Iida stated while adjusting his glasses as Uraraka nodded in agreement, "I'm not so sure what you were speaking of, Kaminari-kun, Ashido-kun."
"Didn't you see what she did to Bakugou and Midoriya?!" Kaminari whispered back harshly, "And so easily?! I can't believe you don't feel it!" He looked back towards the classmates who could relate.
"I dunno, man," Kirishima shrugged, "I don't feel any 'tingly' feeling and neither did Bakugou or Midoriya. Maybe it has something to do with your Quirks and hers?" His grinned, "Did you see Todoroki out there? He seemed pretty into her."
"D-don't be so presumptuous, Kirishima!" Yaoyorozu's cheeks flushed lightly, "You shouldn't say things like that!" She sighed, knowing she should not get so flustered.
"Yeah, yeah," Kirishima waved off, "So, do we attack? I don't think that blade of hers will get through my Hardening, but that whip and barrier will be a problem for me," He said thoughtfully, glancing back, "Anyone else?"
A cry caused him to look forward again.
Kagome glanced up, "It took him a while," She said under her breath and she and Hawks looked towards the rubble of rock pillar that had been knocked down, "I thought I perhaps broken his neck." She stepped forward, ignoring Hawks' noise of incredulity.
Midoriya gasped as he finally broken through the solid debris, only to be shoved back by his throat as he let out a shout before it became a lot harder to breathe.
"Are you that crude one's packmate?" Kagome asked as her boot pushed down on Midoriya's throat, "You covered his back. Teach that pup how to talk properly to another person or next time, he might not live to boast about it." With that, she took off her boot, allowing Midoriya to cough as he took in some much needed air.
"That's my Miko-chan!"
"I'm not yours!"
