It was 2 a.m.
Miko was already in the shipyard as All Might stepped up hesitantly towards the meeting spot and stopped abruptly once he noticed what exactly what she was wearing for the operation.
It was the U.A. uniform.
"Miko, please don't tell me the HPSC sent you in that." He swallowed, not wanting the uniform of his former school to be... sullied in such a way.
She only stared flatly at him before going back to eating what looked to be stale bread.
All Might glared out into the water from their spot between two shipping containers before he pressed his button on his comm, "Madam President." The title was like acid on his tongue.
"I'll just go ahead and assume you don't like the choice of clothing we picked for Miko, All Might?" The President responded and did not bother to wait for an answer, "It's essential to capture the attention of the head of this trafficking circle. Miko may be... easy on the eyes to some men, I doubt it will be enough to attract the politician right to her. However, if the traffickers think they caught an academy student, don't you think that will raise a few eyebrows among them, enough at least to go to upper management?"
"I get what you're saying, but this is...!" All Might choked, "Do you not care for this young child's safety at all!?"
"Miko is..." The President sighed and her voice sounded regretful, "Miko is willing to take on and bear the blood spilled for the sake of this country's safety when the Heroes are unable to do so in time," Her voice hardened, "Please don't make light of the sacrifice Miko has already committed, All Might."
"Madame President, I...!" All Might thought of Sir Nighteye and smiled a bit, thinking how jealous the man may get, "Perhaps I can take this young girl with–!?"
Miko's head turned.
"Someone's coming!" All Might whispered harshly, "I need to leave," He looked at Miko, "I'll be nearby, watching. If I feel that you're in danger that you cannot get yourself out of, I will come," He stated, "Count on that!" And with that, he was gone with only a small gust of wind.
"Fuck, why do we keep the merchandise so faraway?!"
Miko leaned up against the shipping container behind her.
"Goddamn, huh?!" The man shined a flashlight up right into the girl's face, quickly reaching down for a gun, "Who the fuck are you, bitch?!" He shouted, huffing when the girl did nothing but try but blend into the container behind her, "Did you somehow manage to escape?"
He moved closer with caution, keeping the gun raised with clear warning, but sneered as Miko did nothing when he stepped right up to her, noting how small she was and, holy fuck, was that a–!?
"A U.A. student!? When did we catch one of those!?" The man cried out before he quickly shoved the gun right against Miko's head, "You do anything funny and I'll blow your brains out, understand?!" He barked, his hand shaking slightly, "Got it!?" He was satisfied enough when Miko nodded.
He shoved the girl in front of him with the gun pressed to the back of her head, shoving her when he felt she was not moving fast enough for his liking.
"Since you're U.A., we'll have to go in," The man huffed, nudging her towards the large warehouse, "Since I didn't hear anything about this. Maybe you're meant for the bosses. You're a little skinny, but I can see the appeal. You're almost like a mini Midnight!"
She could practically hear All Might's fists crack over her high-tech wiring, but she could care less as the man finally pushed her into where she wanted to be.
Her mission was starting.
