Chapter 3: Bowser

Inside his castle, Bowser Koopa was trying to conduct his next big scheme to kidnap Princess Peach and unify the Mushroom Kingdom and the Koopa Kingdom. "Perhaps if I try to commandeer some Yoshi eggs, I might be able to create a new empire from Yoshi Island." He planned. "Oh, yes. That sounds like an excellent plan. I'll put that in my 'Possible Plans' file."

Just then, there was a knock at the door. "WHAT?!" Bowser shouted. "You have a letter, b-b-Boss." A Koopa said from behind the door. "A letter? For me? I never get mail. Bring it in!" Bowser ordered. The Koopa entered and handed Bowser the letter. Bowser examined the letter, noticing the Smash Bros. seal. "A Smash Bros. seal? I wonder what this could mean?" He asked as he opened the letter and started to read it.

Dear Bowser

You have been invited to join us in the Super Smash Bros. If you wish to accept this invite, your life will be filled with excitement and adventure as you compete against your fellow smashers in a series of competitions. We would be very honored if you would accept this invitation.

Sincerely, Mario

Bowser was surprised by this. "Mario's sending me, Bowser Koopa, his archnemesis, an invitation to join Smash?!" He asked, looking at his minions, who had joined him in his room. "Why would Mario want me to join Smash? He knows I'm a pretty tough force to be reckoned with." He started to think, that is until he realized that he already answered his own question. "Of course, after everything I put that plumber and his friends through, it's so obvious that Mario recognizes me as a worthy candidate for Smash." He turned to his minions. "Pack my bags! I'm joining Smash! I wanna be ready to leave by nightfall!" He ordered. His minions nodded and scurried out of his chambers.

At nightfall, Bowser boarded his airship and took off from Koopa Kingdom. He then stared out of his window. "Let's hope you and your Smash buddies are ready for a challenge, Mario. Because once I'm on the battlefield, you'll get quite a challenge." He said, chuckling.
