"Melusine, now is not the time." Tamamo whispered to her fellow servant, who made a very astute observation about the massive person who they were currently facing. Melusine stepped in front of Naruto to protect him, but he just moved her so that she was standing next to him instead. "... Bravery... or foolishness."

"I am not here to fight you."

"So says them all. Heracles spoke to me of friendship, before he injured my hand... and I squashed him. Perseus tried to use a mirror to weaken me, and even with the gods help... I devoured him hole." Medusa crawled around them like a snake. Her snake tail was easily over 300 feet long, and was currently circling around them.

That wasn't right.

Perseus was the one who killed Medusa by beheading her in the legend that he knew of.

'So... human history isn't the same here.' Naruto thought as he kept his eye contact with Medusa. She spoke with confidence, and he believed her words. The fact she was still alive at all proved to him that she did survive her encounter with many heroes. "... I'm not a hero, I'm just a man, a monster like you. I'm not here to fight you if I don't need to." Naruto spoke loudly.

Medusa stood to her full height.

"Yes, you don't smell human to be sure... but are you perhaps like Achilles, who I ripped apart from ankle to head... or are you like Atalanta, who came to me seeking protection from the gods and found herself in my belly... I am Medusa, Devourer of Heroes, killer of Greeks... I am the monster who destroyed the Greek and Roman empire." Medusa spoke more of her deeds. "I smell her on you... Atalanta's smell... did you perhaps summon her as a servant. She was quite delicious."

Medusa taunted with her words.

She wasn't testing him, she was being genuine with her taunts. The words she said implied a threat, and a promise. He felt anger rise up in him, and she smirked at him.

"Yes, you are a monster, aren't you... you genuinely don't care how many humans I've killed. You only care, once I mentioned those you care about. Yes..." Medusa seemed pleased with herself. She extended her finger towards Naruto and touched the side of his head. She then allowed her fingernail to touch under his chin and lift up his face. "... you... are a monster. Your humanity is a mere mask... you wish to be human, you wish you stood with them." Medusa backed off when Tamamo and Melusine moved in front of Naruto.

Medusa quickly moved herself so that she towered over all of them, her face above them looking down. She was leaning over them, covering them in the darkness of her shadow.

"I don't want to fight you, but if you target even one of my servants, you will die... then and only then will I be your enemy. Do you want to be my friend, or my enemy... you decide, here and now." Naruto told her a simple demand.

Friend or Foe.

Medusa looked at him.

"Do you believe it would be so easy to kill me, who has slain many a hero before you?"

"Yes."

"I see... that is either confidence... or arrogance, but it has been many years since I have talked with somebody. I will allow your arrogance, for now." Medusa backed off of Naruto and his servants. "Why approach me at all, wouldn't it be safer for you... what is that?" Medusa asked as Naruto pulled a Holy Fragment from his pocket.

"I came for this. I also came to leave my own Holy Grail on this island. I want to be your friend, and entrust you with my greatest treasure. A show of faith." Naruto wanted her Holy Fragment that was in her possession.

Medusa was certainly interested in that.

"Oh... you wish to use me?"

"I want to become partners with you if I can. I've already gotten the Holy Fragments from both Charybdis and the Siren. I want your fragment, that I know you have. I'll trade whatever you want for it, as long as it is reasonable." Naruto stated to Medusa.

"Please me sexually."

"Eh?" Naruto made a dumb face, because he felt dumbfounded. He wasn't the only one, because Melusine and Tamamo copied his face with perfection. Naruto looked at Medusa, who was gazing at him with dead serious eyes.

"I am ovulating."

"Eh... please explain." Naruto asked in confusion.

"I agree."

"Oh?" Medusa asked him with interest. She hadn't expected him to actually take the deal. Naruto placed his hand on Melusine and stopped her from making the next comment she wanted to make. "You will end my loneliness... you believe yourself man enough to grant me a child?" Medusa questioned him.

"I might not be, but there is no harm in trying... Melusine, Tamamo... can you give us some privacy?" Naruto asked his servants as he took his jacket off, and followed with his shirt. His heart was pounding in his chest. Medusa just took her top off as well, and Naruto looked at her nipple. Melusine grabbed Tamamo and the two of them flew off.
