"THAT WAS REMARKABLE HUMAN FRISK! YOU ARE DOING FANTASTICALLY AT THIS TOURNAMENT!" Papyrus cheered.

"heh, paps is right. Just three more of those star chips and you'll be a finalist, then you can…" Sans started.

"This doesn't count!" Bandit Keith interrupted angrily. "This duel was entirely set up by Pegasus and isn't an official tournament match, so it doesn't count."

"Didn't… is he joking?" Chara questioned. "Frisk let me handle this one."

Frisk just closed her eyes and nodded as their bracelet began glowing before Chara appeared in her place.

"After this… I think we should talk to Yugi again." Frisk admitted. "I can't shake this really bad feeling all of a sudden, plus it's getting really late."

Chara nodded hearing that before glaring at Bandit Keith. "Doesn't count? Are you kidding me?"

"What the?" Bandit Keith questioned seeing that.

"Frisk beat you fair and square." Chara told him. "If you're a champion then stop complaining like a child and admit you lost."

"What did you say to me?" Bandit Keith questioned.

"She said, to stop acting like a child." answered a male voice as they turned to see a man in a suit. "Mr. Pegasus saw the entire duel."

"What was that?" Bandit Keith questioned.

"You heard me; Mr. Pegasus saw the duel. You lost the match, and you bet all of your star chips you were so generously provided." the suited man stated before turning to Chara and the others. "I wish you luck in the rest of the tournament."

"Right…" Chara nodded uncertainly before turning to Toriel and Asgore. "Frisk suggested we look for Yugi."

"THAT MAKES SENSE, PERHAPS WE CAN ALL REST TOGETHER BEFORE CONTINUING THE COMPETITION IN THE MORNING." Papyrus suggested with a smile.

"That sounds like a good plan to me." Toriel smiled.

"Ok, then let's go and find him." Chara smiled as they walked off.

"What do you think will happen to him?" Frisk asked looking back to where Bandit Keith was arguing with the suited man.

"He'll probably have to leave the island." Chara answered quietly. "Then again, I have a bad feeling about all of this."

Frisk just frowned and continued looking back as the man in the suit escorted Bandit Keith away.

"I still can't believe this Yuge, not only did Pegasus manage to kidnap him but thanks to what happened you lost half your star chips." Joey pointed out only to frown.

"Maybe, but I won three more and we know the real Kaiba is alive." Yugi mentioned. "If it wasn't for his help, I wouldn't have been able to win that match."

"He has a point and… huh, did you guys hear something?" Tea asked just as Chara and the monsters of the Underground appeared. "Oh, hey you guys."

"Greetings, it's nice to see you all again." Toriel smiled.

"HOW IS THE TOURNAMENT GOING FOR YOU TWO? HAVE YOU QUALIFIED FOR THE FINALS YET?" Papyrus inquired only for Yugi to frown.

"Yugi? Did something happen?" Chara asked seeing that. "Don't tell me you were eliminated."

"There's no way that could happen, Yugi couldn't have lost." Frisk argued nervously.

"That's… a bit of a long story, if you remember I had six star chips before." Yugi mentioned showing he still had six. "It turns out my grandpa isn't the only one Pegasus is using as a hostage."

"what do you mean, who else does he have his eye on?" Sans asked.

"Mokuba Kaiba, he's Seto Kaiba's younger brother." Yugi answered. "Apparently if Pegasus or anyone working with him manages to beat me Pegasus will gain control of Kaiba's company."

"That doesn't make sense, how could Pegasus take over the company if somebody defeats you in a match?" Asgore inquired. "You have no connection to that company, do you?"

"No, but remember how Weevil mentioned I beat Kaiba in a duel?" Yugi asked. "According to Mokuba a group of Kaiba Corp executives called the Big Five are secretly working with Pegasus, and if he manages to defeat me, they'll give control of the company to him."

"All that because you won a card game?" Undyne questioned. "That seems kind of extreme, doesn't it?"

"Extreme or not, it's the truth. Pegasus has Mokuba in his clutches and there's no telling what he's going to try and pull next." Joey admitted. "The only thing we can do is make it to the finals and beat that creep at his own game."

"Well, you can count on Frisk and me to help out." Chara mentioned looking at her seven star chips. "One more match and we'll be finalists."

"Man, I'm falling so far behind." Joey frowned. "I've only got four."

"There's still plenty of time Joey." Yugi reassured him. "We'll all qualify for the finals together."

Joey closed his eyes hearing that before nodding. "Yeah, you're right Yugi."

"If the four of us all work together we'll definitely be able to beat Pegasus." Frisk smiled only to frown. "I just wish I knew why he was doing all of this, he seemed so kind when we met him."

Hearing that Chara paused before frowning.

"HUMAN YUGI DO NOT WORRY ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT, I AM CERTAIN THAT EVERYTHING WILL WORK OUT FOR THE BEST!" Papyrus declared confidently.

"Papyrus is right, we'll all work together to help your grandfather and…" Toriel started before they heard something and looked up to see a helicopter hovering over the island.

"Great, now what?" Joey questioned as the helicopter landed only for a brown-haired man with blue eyes holding a briefcase to get out and meet Yugi's gaze.

"Kaiba?" Yugi asked in shock seeing him.

"I should have known I'd run into you here Yugi." the man, Seto Kaiba, replied as Yugi walked up to him.

"Here, this belongs to you." Yugi said giving him a deck of cards as Kaiba took them before turning and looking straight at Chara.

(Yugi has told Chara and the monsters of the Underground some of what has happened to him on Duelist Kingdom Island but now Seto Kaiba has arrived. Next chapter Joey will challenge Kaiba to a duel and Frisk and Chara will see his skills in person. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
