"Oh, you guys are back." Dojima said calmly. "Where were you?"

"We were at the Samagawa Riverbank with my friend Chie." Yu said. "She was teaching Nanako how to catch fish like in the action movies."

"Yeah, she caught one with her hands." Nanako said excitedly. "She's really cool."

"Catching a fish with her bare hands?" Dojima asked. "I'm guessing she's a kung-fu movie fan then."

"Yeah…" Yu said with a laugh. "You could say that. She said it was just luck though."

Dojima nodded before the three of them turned towards the TV.

"…concludes Rise Kujikawa's statement…" the reporter said.

"Huh, Rise Kujikawa?" Yu asked. "Who's that?"

"You don't know, that's a bit surprising. Rise Kujikawa is the idol Risette, and apparently, she's really popular." Dojima said calmly before turning back just as someone asked if she'd be spending time in Inaba at her relative's tofu shop.

"Dad, is Rise-chan quitting being on TV?" Nanako asked.

"I don't know, but an idol moving here now is just going to cause me and Adachi more headache than it's worth." Dojima said.

"Sorry uncle." Yu said apologetically. "Hopefully things aren't too complicated."

Dojima just nodded before Yu walked up to his room.

"Did you guys see it last night?" Yosuke asked. "The Rise Kujikawa is going to be coming to Inaba."

"Yeah, it's really surprising." Chie said in agreement. "An actual idol arriving… during…"

"You're thinking the same thing aren't you Chie?" Yukiko asked. "It makes the most sense, doesn't it?"

"Yeah, but we won't know for sure until tonight." Chie said thoughtfully. "You guys make sure to watch ok?"

"Definitely." Yu said in agreement. "Then again, we could be completely wrong about this. Rise's an idol, isn't she?"

"Of course she is, that's probably why she'll be the next person thrown in there." Yosuke said quickly.

"You're probably right, but isn't it a little too obvious?" Yu asked. "Who wouldn't expect her to be the next victim?"

"That's a good point, your uncle is probably thinking the same thing. Then again, she does fit the pattern." Yukiko said thoughtfully.

"in other words our best bet is to just see if someone shows up tonight. If it does look like Rise we can warn her ahead of time and maybe catch the culprit before he throws her inside." Yosuke said confidently.

"Right." Chie said in agreement. "We'll just keep an eye on the TV tonight."

Yu, Yosuke, and Yukiko all nodded at that.

"Aren't you guys forgetting something kind of important here?" Kanji asked them suddenly. "I mean, even if she does show up on the midnight channel Rise's not even here yet."

"She'll be here soon enough and the first time someone shows up on the Midnight Channel it's more of a warning anyway so even if Rise isn't here it still means she might be the next victim." Yosuke said thoughtfully before pausing and looking down.

"It isn't your fault Yosuke, none of us knew what the Midnnight Channel was until after it happened." Chie said sympathetically. "Plus, she's probably proud to see you trying to help other people now that you're able to."

Yosuke just nodded again. "Chie, thanks."

"You're welcome Yosuke." Chie said calmly.

"Well, we won't know for sure until tonight. What do we do now?" Kanji asked.

"What else can we do except wait and see what happens?" Yu asked. "Unless we have any idea who the person behind all of this might be we're stuck playing catch-up."

"Yeah… then I guess I'll see you guys later." Yosuke said before grabbing his bag. "Things are getting kind of crazy at Junes."

"Do you need any help?" Chie asked.

"You don't mind?" Yosuke asked in surprise. "Thanks, I could use a hand."

Chie nodded before the two of them walked out of the classroom.

"Well, guess I'll see you later sempai." Kanji said before walking off.

"Actually, I should head back myself." Yukiko said thoughtfully.

"Yeah, you're probably right about that." Yu said in agreement before the two of them left the classroom.

"Oh you're back, did anything unusual happen today?" Dojima asked.

"Not that I can think of, why do you ask?" Yu asked curiously. "Should something have happened?"

"Rise Kujikawa's announcement, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone in town is talking about it." Dojima said before sighing. "We have enough going on without having to worry about keeping people from trying to bother her."

"Oh, yeah a lot of people were talking about how Rise would be here in town." Yu said thoughtfully. "Then again, if she needs some time off it isn't really our place to say she can't come to Inaba."

"I know, and who knows maybe things will work out and this whole Risette craze will pass quickly enough that it won't be too much of a headache." Dojima said before shaking his head.

"Hopefully." Yu said in agreement. "Well, I'm getting kind of tired so I'll see you tomorrow uncle."

"That sounds good, we'll probably head to bed ourselves soon." Dojima said thoughtfully. "I can already tell tomorrow is going to be a long day."

"Night big bro." Nanako said with a smile.

"Good night Nanako." Yu said with his own smile before walking upstairs.

"Alright, is it going to be Rise or will it be someone else?" Yu asked as he watched the screen in front of him. "We'll know soon, it's almost midnight."

As he said that Yu glanced outside before closing his eyes only to turn back to the screen as it lit up depicting the silhouette of a girl, a familiar girl. They were right, the next victim was definitely going to be Rise Kujikawa.

(The Investigation Team have managed to correctly predict who the next victim is going to be and now have a chance to try and keep her safe before the killer reaches her. Next chapter they will try and warn Rise about the coming threat. As always any reviews or critique is appreciated.)
