Ron and Kim were cleaning out the attic for Kim's mother, Ann Possible. She wanted to get rid of some old junk that's been stored up there. As Ron grabbed one of the boxes, he suddenly screamed and threw it back when he saw a spider sitting on top. Kim rolled her eyes, knowing very well that Ron's camp experience was behind his bug phobia. Kim was moving a few old rocket parts that her father, Jim Possible had stored up in the attic. Until she spotted something that looked like an old picture. Kim cleared away a few boxes then she pulled out the picture frame.

But the weird thing was that it was of her mom with another girl who looked almost identical to her. As far as Kim knew, her mother was an only child. Kim called Wade on her communicator then she asked him to scan the picture. Well, Wade scanned the photo, and the result shocked her, this woman was her mother's sister. "There must be some mistake. My mom's an only child." Kim stated.

"No mistake. Her name is Maddy. She and your mom went to college together but they haven't spoken to each other since." Wade explained.

"Well, what happened?" Kim asked.

"Don't know. You might have to ask your mom." Wade said.

Kim climbed down the latter of the attic and of course, Ron ran after her just to get away from the creepy bugs. She went into the kitchen where her mother was inside, making lunch. But when Kim asked her mom about her sister, she got all weird and tried to change the subject. Kim decided to use her secret weapon, The Puppy Dog Pout. No one can withstand the Puppy Dog Pout. Her mom caved in then she sat Kim down on the couch and she told Kim the truth. She did have a sister and they used to be very close but things changed when they went off to college.

Her sister decided to join the Ghost Hunting Club with two other guys, Vlad Masters and Jack Fenton. Vlad was more of the ideas and smart type while Jack just had the brains of a six-year-old. Ann never joined the club but she did bump into Vlad every now and then on the campus. One day Vlad confided in Ann that he had feelings for Maddy. Ann wanted to help Vlad but then, disaster happened. Jack, Vlad, and Maddy built a proto-portal to break open the wall of the "ghost dimension", which Ann didn't really believe in. But Jack turned on the portal without checking the calculations.

As a result, the portal backfired but not before blasting out ecto energy right in Vlad's face. His white turned white and the blast cursed him with ecto-acne. Vlad was sent to the hospital; he was quarantined and he couldn't return to college. Ann was the only one who came to visit Vlad; she always considered him a brother to her. As for Maddy, she dropped out of college and eloped with Jack. Ann worked hard in college and when she got her medical degree, her first patient was Vlad himself. She helped cure Vlad's ecto-acne and in return, he helped her get into her dream hospital as a neurosurgeon.

Kim was shocked to learn everything; no wonder her mom hated talking about her family. "I'm sorry Mom. I had no idea why you never want to talk about it." Kim apologized.

"Kimmy. That's all in the past. I've been trying to get in touch with Maddy for some closer but no luck." Ann stated.

Kim suddenly got the perfect idea; she pulled out her communicator and then asked Wade if he could locate her aunt and run a background check on her. Wade worked his magic and found Maddy. She now lives in a town called Amity Park with Jack as a ghost hunter. Ann rolled her eyes when Wade mentioned that her sister was a ghost hunter.

Not only that, she has two kids. A son and a daughter who were in a high school called Casper High. The eldest, Jasmine or Jazz as she liked being called, looked just like Kim but older. She wants to be a psychologist since she uses her skills on her brother and parents. But she is a straight-A student and her parents do love her, even though she didn't share their love of ghosts. "Does everyone in your family look identical?" Ron asked.

Kim ignored Ron's little statement and focused back on her other cousin, Daniel James Fenton, or as he likes to be called Danny. Kim saw that he wanted to be an astronaut, and now he and her father would definitely get along. But there was something else that was off. He had good grades in all of his classes until six months ago, they just dropped to Fs. He was even banned from the school lab after dropping expensive beakers and vials. Wade even pulled up Danny's school records which were filled with detentions and tardies that he was given unfairly because of a stupid jock.

Wade hacked the cameras to Casper High and every tape shows Danny being bullied and blamed for everything while the so-called jocks and pretty girls get away with it. Also, he looked like he hadn't eaten anything in days and his parents never seemed to believe him over the bullies. "Wade, can you get us a ride to Amity Park? I need to know more about my cousin Danny." Kim asked.

"KP. What are you doing?" Ron asked.

"We're going to Amity Park," Kim answered.

They were in luck because Reporter Ace was in Middleton and he was grateful enough to give them a ride to Amity Park. "Thanks for the lift, Report Ace," Kim said to the pilot.

"It's the least I can do Miss Possible after you gave me the report that saved my job." Reporter Ace replied.

"A high-speed car chase involving a smuggling operation, not the drama," Kim stated.

While Ron and Rufus were downing peanuts, Bueno Nacho Nacos, and soda, Wade send Kim footage to review from the lab of Fenton Works. He found the footage dating back to a lab accident that Danny was in, six months ago. It was just him and his friends in the lab near some kind of portal. The Goth girl who was named Sam, suggested that Danny should go inside that thing to turn it on. Danny figured if he could turn on the portal then his parents would be proud of him. So He put on the hazmat suit over his clothes and proceeded to walk into the portal. Kim couldn't see inside the portal but then, a blinding flash came from the portal.

She could hear Danny screaming in pain from the footage. Sam and the Nerd Boy named Tucker, were just standing there while Danny was screaming in pain. What kind of friends do that? The screaming stopped, the light disappeared, and out came smoke. When Danny stepped out of the portal, his whole appearance completely changed. He now has glowing green eyes, white-silver hair, and tanned skin, and his suit now has the symbol DP on his chest. Wade gave Kim the location of Danny's school so that way Ron and she could meet him without her aunt knowing.

Seeing her cousin in his new form meant that he had the same accident as her mom's friend. When they landed in Amity Park, Kim made it her mission to find her cousin. Ron on the other hand was thinking with his stomach. Ron wanted to see if there was a Bueno Nacho around here. Kim headed towards Casper High, the same school that Danny went to. Just as she reached the school grounds, she bumped into someone. She looked up to see a fourteen-year-old boy with black hair, blue eyes, and wearing old clothes. It was her cousin, Danny. He closed his eyes and flinched up, thinking that Kim was gonna hurt him.

But instead, she helped Danny up from the ground and even helped pick up his things. "Sorry about that. I wasn't looking where I was going." Kim said.

"Um, thanks. And again sorry, um." Danny started to say.

"Kim. My name is Kim." Kim answered, "And you don't have to keep apologizing, it was an accident. What's your name?"

But before Danny could answer her, someone shoved him to the ground. A bigger boy with blond hair and dressed like a jock. "Move it, Fenturd! No geeks near the girls!" The jock said then laughed.

Kim hated bullies, especially when they are wannabe jocks that pick on the smaller kids. The guy even had the nerve to flirt with her, Kim punched him in the face, giving him a black eye. The jock ran away like a scared rabbit while Danny looked up at Kim with shock. "Thanks. I'm Danny. No one's ever stood up for me." Danny said.

"No big, Danny," Kim said. "Saving people is what I do."

Kim insisted that she walk Danny home and she wanted to get to know him more. Now that seemed like a perfect idea to Danny. With Sam on vacation and Tucker being home sick as a dog, he was alone. Just as they were walking to Danny's house, they bumped into Ron who was sulking over the fact that there wasn't a Bueno Nachos joint anywhere in Amity Park. "Nothing edible to eat?" Kim joked.

"The only place they had was a Nasty Burger joint that lives up to its name. The food looked like it would crawl away, KP. Crawl!" Ron freaked out.

"Yeah, that's Nasty Burger. The food is more garbage than actual food." Danny answered.

Rufus jumped out of Ron's pocket which startled Danny a little. Ron introduced Rufus to Danny and he seemed to calm down. "I thought it was a hairless gerbil," Danny said.

"He's a naked mole rat and my best buddy," Ron stated.

Kim and Ron arrived at Danny's house which wasn't hard to miss with the giant neon sign that read, Fenton Works. Thankfully when Danny opened the door, his parents weren't in the living room. He figured that they must be in the basement or as they call it, the Ghost Lab. Danny led them upstairs to his room to give them a tour far away from his crazy parents. Kim and Ron were surprised to see how Danny reacted when they asked about his parents. Kim quickly asked Wade if he could put in an anonymous tip to Social Services about the Fentons. Wade had already done that after he did a scan of the house.

Danny showed them his room which was decorated with posters of galaxies and planets. There were even little model rockets on the dresser. "Sorry if I weird you guys out with my love of space." Danny said in a meek tone.

"It's not weird. My dad works at the space center in Middleton. I can ask him if he can give you a tour." Kim suggested.

For the first time in a while, he smiled; not a fake smile, a real smile. Kim sat down on Danny's bed then she gestured for him to sit down beside her. When he did, Kim began to tell him that she is his cousin and that their moms were sisters. Danny was stunned to learn that Kim Possible was his cousin. Suddenly, they all heard someone yelling at the top of their lungs. Kim, Ron, and Danny ran downstairs and found a bunch of lawyers from Social Services and Danny's parents and sister. "You dare come into my house and try to take my son away from me?!" Maddie screeched at the Social Worker.

"Ma'am, this house isn't safe for a child. Barrels of ectoplasm, toxic food, and that basement lab with that dangerous machine. Daniel Fenton will be sent to live with Ann Possible in Middleton" the social worker stated.

Jack had to hold back Maddie from attacking the social worker after mentioning her sister. Kim didn't even know that Social Services would show up here. The Social Worker saw Danny on the top of the stairs and then asked him to pack up his bags and they'll take him to Middleton. Kim offered to help him pack everything. Danny and Kim went back up to his room then she helped Danny pack his clothes, a few space posters, and a thermostat. Kim could tell that the thermostat was modified as a weapon. "Is that a thermostat modified as a weapon?" she questioned.

"What?! No. It's just a normal..."

"Danny, I know about the lab accident and that you're half-ghost," Kim stated.

Danny's jaw dropped, "How-how did y-y-you..?" I stuttered.

"My friend Wade hacked into the cameras in your parents' lab and school. I'm not gonna hurt you, if anything I think it's great that you're a hero." Kim explained.

After Danny was packed, he, Kim, and Ron left the building and went to the airport to jump on a flight to Middleton. During the flight, Ron pulled out his last bag of Bueno Nacho from his backpack. Just as he was about to bite into his Naco, he heard Danny's stomach growl. Ron split his Naco with Danny and handed his half to him. Danny looked at Ron with a confused look. "What is this?" Danny asked.

"It's the Naco. Taco meets Nacho. Try it." Ron answered.

Danny took a bite and he thought that it was better than what they served at Nasty Burger. After a long flight, they landed in Middleton. Waiting at the airport was Kim's parents. Danny was nervous about meeting his aunt and uncle but Kim reassured him that her parents were great. Kim's dad helped with Danny's suitcase and talked about his job at the Space Center. He even offered to give Danny a tour of the Space Center. The look on Danny's face was priceless, like a kid in a candy store. The whole way back to the house, Kim's parents were being sweet to Danny.

When they arrived at the house, Kim's brothers Jim and Tim circled around Danny asking a bunch of questions. Kim's mom shooed them away then they all sat down for dinner. This was the first real meal that Danny had in a long time that didn't involve ectoplasm. Ann announced that Danny would be transferred to Middleton High tomorrow and Kim offered to show him around. Ron looked more excited because he wore his Mad Dog mascot to show Danny what the school's team is. Kim warned Ron not to do the foam but he did it and Danny ended up being covered in foam. "It's not real. It's banana cream, taste it." Ron said.
