"It's all that damn bag's fault." Wiper roared.
"Stop." Raki pleaded.
Too late. Throwing the bag of dirt on the ground, Wiper roared.
"It is because of this bag and your carelessness that Kamakiri is injured."
"Stop." Raki insisted, kneeling down to pick up the dirt that had fallen to the ground. " This bag... it belongs to Aisa! It is her treasure. "
"Her treasure?"
Growling in rage, Wiper kicked the ground hard, causing some earth to move.
"Look around you! There is Vearth everywhere! We are walking on Vearth! We are on the territory of our ancestors! Why consider a bag of Vearth a treasure, when we can get everything this ? "
Then, looking at Raki angrily, he asked.
"Sacrificing Kamakiri's life for a little Vearth? Don't you think that's completely stupid?"
"Hey, don't talk about me like I'm dead."
Approaching the duo, Kamakiri had his abdomen covered in bandages.
"Kamakiri?" Raki wondered. "How are your wounds?"
"I will survive." The man assured. "And I would keep fighting."
Then, looking at the sack on the ground, he crouched down and picked up a handful of soil. Letting the matter slip through his fingers, he watched her fall to the floor, affirming.
"Wiper is right! This island...we have to get it back! There's no point in fighting just to win a bag of Veath! Besides, we finally have our chances of winning! Satori and Shura were absent from the fighting! And Zancrow and J looked like they were fighting someone other than us! We have to take advantage of that! Tomorrow we will attack Ohm and Gedatsu in force and take them down! If we succeed, the forces of the Enel's army will have greatly diminished."
"Maybe…but there's another problem." Wiper retorted.
Immediately thinking of a pirate with a straw hat, Wiper turned to a person who was tied to a tree. Remaining silent, Bellamy was simply watching the argument, not saying a word.
"This guy...did he really tell us all about the pirates who came to this island?"
"What more do you want me to tell you?" Bellamy questioned. "I tell you about the power of Mugiwara and the fallen angel! If you want my opinion, if you kill them, the other pirates will not put up any resistance to you."
"Tsss!" Wiper growled, pointing his bazooka at him. "If you really told us everything, what's the point of me keeping you alive?"
"I could fight by your side."
" Huh ? "
Smiling, Bellamy affirmed.
"Your battle against Enel...you're not sure you'll win it, are you? What if I decide to help you?"
"Do you think we're incapable of defeating him?" Wiper roared.
"You misunderstood me." Bellamy retorted. "Your fight against Enel does not interest me! However, I can fight and kill Mugiwara to prevent him from interacting in your fight! Do you really think it is a good idea for you to fight against two enemies at the same time? "
"Whether it's two or a hundred, it makes no difference." Wiper retorted, preparing to fire. "I would kill them all."
Nevertheless, putting his hand on the tip of his weapon, Katakuri stopped him.
"Wait, Wiper! It might not be a bad strategy to use your strength and make an ally of it."
"What? Since when do we trust the enemy?"
" We are not enemies. " Katakuri retorted. "Besides, it looks like we can cooperate for tomorrow's battle! What have we got to lose?"
Looking at Wiper, he declared.
"Hundreds of Shandora Indians have been killed trying to get Upper Yard back! Tomorrow might be our last chance to get it back! Do you really want to reduce our chances of success just because of a matter of pride? "
"He's bound to betray us." Wiper asserted.
"In that case, I'll make sure to kill him." Katakuri promised.
Looking at each other, the two men faced each other. Then, finally, Wiper turned around, while declaring.
"I would never trust anyone who is not from the Shandora tribe."
Opening her eyes, Raynare saw only the dark sky above her. Having a terrible headache, she put her hand on her head.
" Even drinking all night with Kalawarner, I never had such a headache when I woke up. "
Hearing a moan, Raynare felt something move in her abdomen. Noticing that she was lying down, Raynare straightened up to notice that Eeevee was lying on her legs, while Lucy's head rested on her abdomen. Having watched Raynare, the duo ended up falling asleep by her side.
Then, looking around, the fallen angel saw the rest of the crew, sleeping around a campfire, which had been extinguished for a while. Seeing that they were sleeping with a pack of wolves, Raynare preferred not to understand why these animals had joined Luffy and the others.
Still feeling her migraine, Raynare tried to remember what had happened during the evening. Had she partied with the others? Had they eaten with the wolves? She didn't remember anything.
The last memories she had was her discussion with Virgo, because of the fact that she had kissed...
Immediately, Raynare blushed, as she thought back to her kiss with Lucy. She had openly shown that she had feelings for the blonde. But what had happened with her discussion with Virgo?
Trying to remember, she could only remember the silhouette of an old man.
"What happened? Why don't I remember anything?"
Suddenly footsteps were heard. Looking away, Raynare was surprised to see Velvet walking between the bodies of her friends. Heading for a half-full pot, the demon eventually grabbed a ladle and began to eat.
Having just freed herself, she had made it a priority to leave. However, still not being able to eat, she ended up drinking the soup Luffy gave her. Nevertheless, not being satiated, she had been attracted by what was left of a pot of stew, and satiated herself.
Seeing her doing so, Raynare managed to move to recover and walked towards her.
" What are you doing ? "
Startled, Velvet nearly choked, swallowing the wrong way. Blue-faced, she tapped her chest to unblock her throat. Finally, managing to breathe again, Velvet turned to Raynare.
" What do you want ? "
"I'm surprised to see you here." confessed Raynare. "Can you explain to me what a demon is doing here?"
"Tsss! Got a problem with me?" Velvet growled. "Never mind, I'm used to humans hating me! Insult me all you want, I don't care."
Listening to her, Raynare raised an eyebrow.
"Do you consider me human?"
"Huh? Why? Aren't you human?"
At that moment, Raynare spread her wings. Immediately, Velvet gave a surprised look.
"A demon?" she wondered, looking at the color of Raynare's wings.
Nevertheless, noticing that they were similar to that of an angel, she finally understood.
" Fallen angel. "
"Are you telling me you didn't feel my aura? Usually demons are able to sense being next to an angel or a Fallen angel."
"I'm not actually a demon! It's hard to explain, but you could say that the only part of my body that's demonic is my arm! However, that's enough for people to consider me a true ally of Satan . "
"Oh? And now that you know who I am, how are you going to react?"
" No idea! You're the first fallen angel I've met. " Velvet confessed. "It seems that you have been exiled from paradise, but that does not prevent you from being enemies of the demons! Do you want to fight?"
"It depends! Do you want to kill my friends?"
"Your friends?" Velvet wondered, looking at Luffy and the others. "I thought fallen angels were rejected by humans.
"It is." Raynare agreed. "It's just that Luffy is a weird guy! He's not afraid of anything scary! On the contrary! More scary you are, more he will like you."
"A guy like him is a pirate?"
" It's the case. "
"And you're part of his crew as a friend, rather than a slave?"
"If I was his slave, I would have tried to kill him a long time ago." Raynare affirmed.
Then there was a silence. Then, the fallen angel affirmed.
"In this world, I feel like there is no paradise! If there is no paradise, the same goes for angels and demons! Therefore, are you coming from this planet or were you teleported here?"
"I've been teleported." Velvet replied simply.
Then, without saying anything more, she started to leave.
" Where are you going ? "
"I think I've said enough about myself! And I don't really have time for you! I have a few people to see and I hope to make them pay for their hospitality towards me."
Seeing her begin to walk, Raynare questioned her.
"If I let you go, are you planning to come back here to kill us later?"
Stopping, Velvet couldn't help but think about Luffy's words. Then, finally, she declared.
"I don't attack humans for no reason! If you don't do anything to piss me off, I won't attack you."
Then she left.
Surprised by what they saw, several soldiers did not even have the reflex to take their firearms. Ahead of them, Pit had appeared in the sky, before dropping onto their boat.
"A... An angel?"
"He's a real angel."
"So that means...we're in heaven."
Ignoring their words, Pit just stared at them. Then, finally, he declared.
"I'd like to speak to your commander."
" What do you want from me ? "
Turning his gaze, Pit saw Smoker leaning against the mast of his boat. Wedging a cigar between his teeth, the man lit it, before glaring at Pit.
" Who are you ? "
"My name is Pit! An angel serving Palutena-sama."
"An angel? Are you kidding me?"
"I know angels don't exist on your planet! But I'm someone you might consider an immigrant."
Immediately, several soldiers began to shout.
"He's from Reiner's world?"
"Reiner?" Pit wondered.
"Asshole." The titan growled.
Appearing in front of the soldiers, the blond stared at Pit, while declaring.
"Angels don't exist in my world."
"Your world? Are you an immigrant too?"
listening to the conversation, Kudo couldn't help but find himself amazed.
"Light is accompanied by his demon...Reiner is a titan...and now I meet an angel! Damn it...am I the only one who was born in a normal world? Or, it is that my world is the only one that doesn't have anyone with power."
"I meet a lot of humans today." Pit remarked. "Are you friends of Mugiwara?"
"Mugiwara?" Smoker wondered. "He managed to survive the Knock-Up Stream?"
"Do you know him? Perfect! He needs your help to defeat the tyranny present in Skypiea."
"Hey, hold on." Fullbody stopped him. "Do you think we're friends with Mugiwara? That's ridiculous."
"If we're here, it's to capture him." Jango affirmed.
" Huh ? "
"Mugiwara is a pirate." Hina reminded him. "Hina and Smoker are on a mission to capture people like him! If you know where he is, I advise you to..."
"One moment." Smoker stopping her.
Frowning, the man asked.
"What do you mean 'the tyranny present here'?" Do you mean Zancrow? "
"No! Zancrow is just a soldier! His leader, Enel, is the tyrant of this island, who doesn't hesitate to pulverize people who disagree with him."
Frowning further, the vice admiral asked.
"Can you tell me what you mean?"
" Smoker, we're not here for that. " Hina retorted. "We went to Jaya without the permission of our superiors! If our superiors find out that we have interfered in the political affairs of a country, we will be in trouble."
Completely ignoring her, Smoker walked over to Pit, before telling him.
"Tell me what you know about this place! Then I'll decide what to do."
Discreetly trying to free himself from his ropes, Bellamy stilled, seeing one of the Shandians staring at him. While the others were resting, two warriors were in front of a campfire and stood guard, while making sure that their prisoner did not escape.
His power not allowing him to free himself, Bellamy tried in vain to loosen one of his arms. However, the knots being too tight and being observed by the two guards, the man could do nothing to allow his escape to succeed.
"Damn it! I have to get out of here! If their leader finally decides to kill me, I won't survive his bazooka."
Suddenly, a figure caught his attention. Lightly lit by their own flames from the campfire, Bellamy thought he saw a figure crawling on the ground.
"What is that?" he thought, squinting his eyes to see better.
Suddenly, quick as lightning, the figure straightened up and charged at the two guards. Immediately, one of them felt the hilt of a saber strike his abdomen, while the other was knocked unconscious by a blow from the scabbard, which struck him in the back of the neck.
Losing consciousness, the two Indians fell to the ground.
"What...? What...?" Bellamy wondered, seeing a woman, with hair and clothes in a masculine way.
At that moment, another woman appeared near Bellamy and began to congratulate the feat of the one who had just knocked out the two Shandians.
"Amazing, Kuina-chan! You almost impressed me."
"Shut up!" Kuina growled. "And stop talking to me in that sarcasm tone! Remember, you're just a potential recruit! And no matter what, I'll be your superior."
"Are you sure, Kuina-chan? In terms of power, you're the number 3, right? If it is, I have the necessary level to be stronger than you!Truth, I've met and fought swordsmen much stronger than you."
"Grrr! What are you trying to say?"
"You're strong, it's true ! But...nothing more ! There's nothing extraordinary about you."
" What did you say ? "
"Huh? May I know who you are?" Bellamy asked.
" SHUT UP !" The two women roared.
Suddenly, a bazooka shot passed between the duo, while nearly crashing into the tree where Bellamy was hanging.
"Who are you?" Wiper roared.
Seeing him awake, while the other Indians imitated him, the two women turned around. Then, managing to lengthen the size of her fingernails, the woman accompanying Kuina clawed at the bark of the tree trunk, cutting the ropes that bound Bellamy. Seeing the Indians rushing towards him, Bellamy preferred to get up and run away.
Following the two women, he asked.
"Hey, who are you and where are we going?"
"Huh? Don't expect to follow us." Kuina warned him. "We were just on a mission to rescue you! Now you're on your own."
Entering the forest, the two women jumped on the branches of two different trees, before moving like real ninjas. Finally, within seconds, Bellamy lost sight of them.
" What ? "
Hearing another bazooka noise behind his back, he hurriedly turned his legs into springs, before bouncing on the tree trunks, in order to flee. Finally, escaping the Indians, the pirate laughed, before affirming.
"Mugiwara! Be ready, because I will soon be in front of you."
"So, it was true.." Ohm remarked, while properly putting his glasses back on his nose. "These two fools are lost."
"What do you want?" Zancrow questioned him, shrugging, smirking. "Satori and Shura thought they were invincible, thanks to the mantra! But, ultimately, once the enemy figured out how it works, they're nothing."
"You can talk." Gedatsu retorted. "I hear you lost a fight at Angel Beach."
"I didn't lose." Zancrow roared. "I just left like the opponents I was fighting were insignificant."
"And why did you come to my territory?" J questioned. "For once there was a possibility that my pokemons could have a little fun, you had to come and get involved!" It's because of you that the pirates were able to get away."
"My fault? And it's my fault too if the green-haired swordsman managed to hurt you? Your pokemons protect you but, without them, you're a helpless woman! Stop to try be strong, because you're weakest among us."
"Do you want to bet?" Hunter J questioned, grabbing three Pokeballs.
"Hey, calm down." Ohm ordered, pulling out a pokeball. "We are in front of Enel-sama's shrine! I will not allow anyone to disturb the tranquility of this place!"
Also showing two pokeballs, Gedatsu tried to say something, but was unable due to biting his lips.
"If you want to talk, open your lips." The trio roared in front of him.
FLASHBACK
For the first time, a young boy could see humans in the blue sea. in awe, he looked at their boat, where a Jolly Roger hung. He realized then that they were pirates. However, instead of attacking Skypiea, they spent their time partying or exploring the island.
Among them, the child could see other children of his age, including one with a straw hat on his head, and another with a clown's head. There was also a woman dressed as a superhero, a red dragon, a strange little white animal that could talk... and there was also their captain, who sported a big black mustache.
Yet, almost ignoring them, the child was amazed by another person. This man appeared to be a normal human and often stood apart from the rest of the crew, while he seemed pensive. However, having heard the other pirates talking about him, the child approached the man, before asking him.
"Is it true that you are a god?"
FLASHBACK'S END
Hearing screams, Enel opened a eye.
" What is happening ? "
"It looks like your guests have arrived." A female voice affirmed. "And I think a pokemon battle is going on."
Suddenly black flames appeared in the sky, as Zancrow missed the target he was aiming for.
"Zancrow would have to capture a pokemon." Noted the female voice. "He's the only one who has no partner."
For answer, Enel covered his arm with electricity, before stretching it towards the sky. An electric shock left his arm and disappeared into the sky. And a few moments later, a huge column of lightning struck the place where the prelates were.
A huge crashing sound was heard. Then, when the attack stopped, a silence reigned in the area. Despite this, Enel ordered.
"Bring them in."
And a few seconds later, the four prelates entered the enclosure of the sanctuary, without having the slightest scratch. However, while Zancrow, Ohm and Gedatsu were walking, J was once again standing on Salamenche's back.
Seeing them, Enel began to yawn, while he was lying on a large sofa.
"Even though I'm the person who brought you here, would it kill you to let me sleep in once in a while? Damn it! this island. "
In response, the four prelates knelt before him.
" Enel-sama ... "
Yawning again, Enel declared.
"I think you've become way too soft! It's the first time in a long time that Upper Yard has seen an invasion and Satori and Shura are beaten within hours! What's happening to you? Are you running out of coaching ? "
"Please forgive the incompetence of these fools, Enel-sama." Gedatsu apologized. "We, prelates, will assure you that we will massacre the Shandians and the pirates who were foolish enough to come to this island."
"It's true that their presence is very unpleasant." Affirmed Enel, looking bored. "I am a god and yet they persist in wanting to fight me! However, what displeases me the most is knowing that they are still able to fight, whereas they fought against you."
Suddenly, electricity appeared around Enel's body. Immediately, the hair of the four prelates began to stand on end.
"So I hope this problem will be resolved soon ! And Zancrow..."
" Yes ? "
Suddenly reaching out an arm towards him, Enel created a dragon composed of lightning. Seeing him, Zancrow jumped to avoid it in extremis. Hitting the ground, the lightning dragon created an explosion, shattering the place where Zancrow was. Landing on his feet, the wizard looked at the crater in the ground, as Enel declared.
"Your performance today...if you do something similar again tomorrow, I assure you there will be no chance for you to avoid an attack like this! Do I made myself understood?"
Growling, Zancrow knelt before Enel again? He hated it. That submission he had to show Enel? Nevertheless, he had no choice. Enel was a logia. Zancrow had no chance of touching him and winning against him.
"I get it, Enel-sama."
"Wow! Whoa! What a nice dog we have here?"
Groaning at the female voice, Zancrow lifted his face to see the woman who was standing next to Enel.
" You ... "
"Hello!" Ladydevimon greeted him, with a mocking smile.
