Ending Chapter 1053 (Hypothesis)
Laughing, Ryokugyu held up four fingers.
"Monkey D. Luffy! Akagami Shanks! Marshall D. Teach! Buggy the clown! HAHAHAHA! Here's a really interesting quartet! Yonkos have never known people with such diverse characters."
Watching him laugh while he was in a fighting stance, Luffy started to get irritated.
"What are you laughing at? I don't care about becoming a Yonko! But one thing is for sure! If the Navy came to invade my friends' country, I wouldn't hesitate to tell you. kick ass."
Stopping laughing, Ryokugyu made a simple lazy wave of his hand, in order to calm Luffy down.
"Relax, Mugiwara! If I came here, it's only because I have a question to ask you: why are you still here?"
"What? Hey, if I want to stay in Wano, I will stay there until I decide otherwise."
"Really? You know what, Mugiwara? Not long ago, I had a private conversation with one of my friends and you know what he told me? That you were the commander's brother in second in the revolutionary army! A man by the name of Sabo, if I'm not mistaken."
"Huh? So what?"
"Mugiwara... do you appreciate history repeating itself? Are you going to pass up your chance to save your brother again?"
" What ? "
Showing a mocking smile, Ryokugyu declared.
"Still, you'd better hurry! Because it's coming soon... the hour of your brother's execution! The one that will take place at Mary Geoise."
Hearing an explosion, Robin turned to see a plume of smoke rising into the air.
"Geez, there's a lot of noise on this island that's supposed to be uninhabited."
Nevertheless, resuming her walk, she ended up finding herself in front of an old building, which was completely covered with vegetation, proof that it had been abandoned here for centuries.
"The ruins of the ancient village of the Shandians! It was here that Norland met them."
Suddenly, a cry was heard. Turning around, Robin saw Karue running towards her, while Vivi was hanging around his neck. Attempting to flee from an enemy, the pair let out a cry of fear, as a sharp gust of wind passed close to them and sliced one of the ruins in half.
Losing his balance, Karue collapsed to the ground and, letting go, Vivi imitated him before rolling on the ground, until she landed at Robin's feet.
"Ouch! Ouch! Ouch!" She complained, trying to sit up.
"Princess Wednesday?" Robin wondered.
"Miss All-Sunday?" Vivi shouted, raising her face to her.
" Found. "
Landing on the rooftop of one of the ruins, a Sacred Army soldier from Upper Yard pinned his victim to the ground. However, he was surprised, seeing that another woman was near Vivi.
"Huh? Who are you? You and the other woman don't look like Shandians! And what are you doing here? You're close to the divine shrine, which is where Enel-sama resides! You don't you have no right to be here."
Seeming to ignore him completely, Robin just stared at a piece of the building that had fallen to the ground, while the divine soldier had damaged it, stepping on it. Picking it up, Robin looked annoyed as she questioned him.
"Do you have any idea of the historical importance of these remains?"
"What? Historical significance? Don't make me laugh! They're just pebbles! And that belonged to the Shandians! Those things have no value."
"Get down from there." Robin ordered.
" What ? "
"I know for a fact that a moron like you has no idea how important these remains are." Robin affirmed. "That's why I'm ordering you to get down from there, immediately."
"Grrr! Insolent." The soldier roared, reaching for her. "I'm going to give you the punishment you deserve."
Knowing exactly what he was going to do, Vivi looked away, screaming in fear. However, before he had a chance to attack, the soldier found himself grabbed by several arms, which pushed out of his body.
" What is ... ? "
" SIX FLORS !" Said Robin, arms crossed.
"Oye, stop." The man ordered her, trying in vain to struggle. "What are you doing? Do you know who I am? I'm an elite soldier of the sacred army of..."
" TWIST ! "
Unable to finish his sentence, the soldier was interrupted by a series of cracks. Then, his body ends up falling to the ground, in front of Vivi. Stepping back, the young woman noticed that the man had just lost consciousness, while Robin had beaten him without the slightest difficulty.
Leaving then, as if nothing had happened, Robin noticed.
"I see you still can't defend yourself, Princess Wednesday."
Not knowing what to say to her, Vivi suddenly heard more explosions coming from the forest. Jumping with fear, she hurriedly got to her feet, before crying out.
"Wait! Don't leave me alone."
"Oh? And why?" Robin questioned her.
Barely glancing at Vivi, she reminded her.
"Yesterday, didn't you tell me you hated me?"
Then, without giving Vivi time to answer anything, she left.
"Can you repeat that?" Raynare asked.
"You heard me very well." Pit affirmed. "I have come to challenge you to a duel to the death! You against me, without any outside help! And of course, at the end of this fight, the winner can take the lead of the other."
"OYE, motherfucker! Who do you think you are?" Sanji questioned, walking towards him. "Why are you threatening us? Do you want to die?"
"Sanji, stop." Usopp pleaded, stepping in front of him. "Now is not the time for that."
Then turning to Pit, the sniper asked.
" Pit, why are you acting like this? I thought you were on our side? Didn't you realize that Enel is using you? All he wants is to rule as a tyrant on Skypiea! Why don't you help us to defeat him?"
In response, Pit lowered his face as he gritted his teeth.
"Things are not as simple as they are! I was offered a proposal and I had to make a choice."
"A proposal? What proposal?"
" SHUT UP !" Roared the angel, pointing at Rayanre. "It's only about Aneko and me."
"Tsss! That name again." Growled the fallen angel.
"What do you decide?" Pit questioned, picking up his bow. "Do you decide to accept my challenge? Or do I have to threaten your friends for...?"
"Pit ...why?"
Freezing, Pit was surprised to see Gan Fall, sitting against the mast of the Merry, while he was in the company of the pirates.
" Gan Fall-san ? "
"Why do you decide to help Enel?" Asked the old knight, in a calm tone.
"I…I'm not helping her." The angel retorted. "It's just that... It's just that... I have no choice."
FLASHBACK
Looking fearfully at Enel, Pit seemed to have trouble understanding what he had just said to him.
"Impossible! You're lying."
"Not at all." Enel affirmed, with a wide sadistic smile. "In three hours, there will be no more tyranny in Skypiea! Simply because Skypiea will no longer exist! Thanks to my divine powers, I will make this island disappear, along with all the people who live there."
"Why?" Pit roared. "Why are you doing this? What did Skypiea do to you to deserve such a fate?"
"Nothing at all." Affirmed Enel. "It's just a way for me to show everyone that I'm a true god! No more, no less."
"YOU ASSHOLE." Pit roared, rushing towards him.
Unfortunately, a foot hit him and knocked him to the ground. Then, before he could pull himself together, he felt Enel sit cross-legged on his abdomen, before aiming a golden trident at his face. Missing it on purpose, he pointed the pointed ends of his weapon into the ground, while wedged Pit's neck between two prongs of the trident. Thus pressed against the ground, the angel could not move, while Enel was laughing.
"Pit... in truth, I have always adored you! Since I have known you, you have always had this ardor and this perseverance in your gaze! I know that you are less powerful than my prelates! become my servant, and if you had sworn fealty to me unto death, I am so certain that you would have been my most determined and loyal soldier! What a pity that you are already the servant of another deity."
Trying to move, Pit roared.
"I'll never let you! Never, do you hear me? I'll stop you from destroying Skypiea! And I'll do anything to make it happen."
"Everything, you say?"
Extending his smile, Enel declared
"Do you know why I chose this day to destroy Skypiea?"
" Huh ? "
"I'm sure you are aware, but yesterday a very dangerous individual arrived on this island: Aneko, the messenger of death! As you know, legend has it that, 24 hours after her appearance, Skypiea is destined to disappear! As a god, I am obliged to believe in these traditions! Otherwise, what is the use of legends or myths being created, if they never come true? Therefore, in order not to leave Skypiea suffer at her hands, I will destroy them in an instant, so that they do not suffer."
"You weirdo! You know damn well that woman isn't Aneko! You're just looking for a stupid excuse to satisfy your murderous urges."
"Really? But, didn't you tell me that you would do anything to stop me from destroying Skypiea?"
Suddenly, letting go of Pit, he backed up and allowed him to sit up.

Smiling, he pointed to Pit, while declaring.
"If you want to save Skypiea, go kill Aneko."
" What ? "
"In three hours, this woman will have been in Skypiea for exactly one day! If you manage to kill her, before this time runs out, then you will save Skypiea since I would then have no reason to destroy everything, don't is this not ? "
"Stop fucking with me." The angel roared. "I know perfectly well that you are lying to me! You will destroy Skypiea, no matter who you ask me to kill."
"Are you sure? Shit...you're a smart guy! And so you know you have no chance of defeating me! Won't you take a chance and actually do whatever you want?" can you save Skypiea? You know, her survival will mostly depend on my mood."

Still gritting his teeth, Pit didn't dare look Gan Fall in the eye. He knew Enel was lying. He knew perfectly well that he was being manipulated and that the god was certainly not going to keep his promises, even if Pit brought Raynare's head back to him. But, did he have other choices than to bet everything on this bet?
"Pit..." Gan fall said, realizing that something was wrong.
"I take up your challenge."
Startled, everyone turned to Raynare, who walked over to Pit.
"Raynare?"
"I don't know how my death would save Skypiea!" Affirmed the fallen angel, spreading her wings. "But if you want to fight me... It's okay."
As surprised as the pirates, Pit remained motionless for a few seconds. Then, finally, they turned around before affirming.
"I know a corner where we can fight undisturbed! Follow me."
Going away, he didn't even turn to see if Raynare was following him. Simply showing her wings, Raynare ends up leaving the boat.
"Raynare, where are you going?" Nami asked.
"Wait, don't say you're serious? Why are you going to fight that guy?"
"Because he challenged me to a duel." Raynare replied.
"Raynare-sama, if this guy wants to fight someone, I will..." Sanji started, trying to follow her.
Nevertheless, a spear of light planted itself in front of him, preventing him from taking another step.
"This fight is mine!" Retorted the fallen angel. "Not yours."
Then, saying nothing, she followed Pit.
"Raynare..."
Quickly catching up with the angel, Raynare flew past him, before asking him.
"My head…did Enel ask you?"
"Yes." Pit confessed.
Nodding her head, the fallen angel understood that she was the target of the pseudo-god. So, she thought.
" In that case, I'm not going to make them any more trouble by letting them fight him. "
"Normally, the city of gold shouldn't be far from here." Bruno remarked.
Having also walked west, since the attack of the giant snake, the man began to sigh, while he had not met any of his companions.
"These idiots...I can't leave them for more than two seconds."
Suddenly heavy footsteps were heard behind him.
"Huh?" He wondered, turning around.
Suddenly, he saw an old acquaintance, looking at him angrily.
" EXPLOUD ! "
"You?" Bruno wondered, recognizing the pokemon that had almost defeated him yesterday.
And also seeming to remember that Bruno was an enemy, the pokemon immediately decided to attack him.
Exploud use ECHOED VOICE.
Jumping to avoid the attack, Bruno lands on a branch, before aiming for the pokemon.
" ZIPPER-MAN ! "
Dashing towards the pokemon, his blue puppet reached its hand towards him. Unfortunately, Exploud knew in advance how to defeat it.
EXPLOUD use HYPER VOICE.
Deafening noises immediately spread throughout the area. Feeling like he was being hit by a shock wave, Bruno moaned in pain, while placing his hands over his ears.
Seeing him motionless, Exploud jumped towards him, before covering his fist with electricity.
Exploud use THUNDER PUNCH
Barely having time to open one eye, Bruno saw the pokemon's fist in front of his face, before being struck.
Sharpedo use SCALD.
Dodging the jet of water, jumping to the side, Zoro then positioned a saber to parry a kick from Lucario.
Lucario use MEGAKICK
Stepping back from the force of the kick, Zoro created enough distance for Lucario to aim for him, before creating an energy sphere.
Lucario use AIR SPHERE .
Crossing his sabers in front of him, Zoro then rushed towards the attack, before cutting it in four, in a quarter of a second.
"Luca?" The pokemon wondered.
"MAGUMA!" Zoro yelled as he lowered his two sabers downward.
Sharpedo use WATER PULSE.
A water sphere hit the area, which was immediately submerged by a tidal wave. Finding himself in the center of the huge torrent, Zoro tried to keep his balance. However, a bright aura suddenly appeared in front of him.
Lucario use FORCE PALM.
Gasping, Zoro felt the powerful shock wave the attack caused as it hit him. Ejected out of the water, he made a huge gliding flight, before landing on rocks. Groaning in pain, he straightened up and noticed that he was in the middle of the pond.
Lucario's attack had ejected him onto the debris of the old sacrificial altar
"Shit!" Zoro growled, as he found himself in an area that restricted his movements.
Noticing this detail, Sharpedo immediately rushed at him. Not being on the ground, Lucario jumped towards the lake, before landing on the back of the shark. Then making a second jump, he found himself above Zoro, before creating two energy spheres.
Lucario use AIR SPHERE .
" One or two, it makes no difference. " Zoro retorted, aiming his sabers at the two attacks.
Sharpedo use AQUA JET.
Turning his gaze to the side, Zoro couldn't hide his astonishment when he saw the shark swoop down on him like a torpedo.
Only able to block one attack, Zoro positioned his swords in front of him to protect himself from Sharpedo's muzzle. However, a moment later, the two energy spheres hit the area. Immediately, many pieces of rocks scattered all over the lake and Lucario took advantage of this advantage, to land on one of them.
Then scanning the surface of the water, he ends up seeing Zoro get out of the water before climbing on another rock. Having a forehead injury, he began to cough and spit water. Then, raising his face, he saw Lucario staring at him, while Sharpedo's fin was visible on the surface of the water.
Despite not really doing it on purpose, the two pokemons showed excellent cohesion in their attacks, which put Zoro in trouble.
"You are a plague."
However, smiling, Zoro grabbed his bandana, before tying it around his head.
"Nevertheless, you're on the right track."
Thinking back to his fight against Hunter J., and more specifically, one of his attacks, he declared.
"You will be perfect for me to improve."
However, what Zoro didn't see was that a figure was watching the fight from atop a branch. However, instead of observing Zoro, the stranger was only looking at one of his swords: the Wado Ichimonji.
"This saber...why is it familiar to me?"
Recoiling in fear, Chopper was seeing a man, in front of him, making a strange face, while making incoherent gestures with his arms.
"Who...WHO ARE YOU?"
Hearing the reindeer's voice, Gedatsu tried to see him get there. He then tried to talk to her...unsuccessfully. Then he tried to cross his arms...unsuccessfully.
"Who is this adversary?" The prelate wondered. "Is he using magic to stabilize me?"
Seeing him stay still, Chopper thought he saw his problem.
"Huh… you have to open your eyes and your mouth if you want to see me or talk to me! And you have to put your arms under each other, so that you cross them."
Shocked, Gedatsu crossed his arms as he regained his sight and speech.
" I had forgotten. "
"Idiot! How can you forget that?"
"Huh?" the prelate wondered, looking at Chopper. "Hey, tanuki...who are you calling a idiot ?"
Recoiling in fear, Chopper stuttered.
"No…I…I didn't mean that."
"Do you know who I am?" Gedatsu questioned, walking towards him. "I am Gedatsu, the prelate of the swamps."
"A... A prelate?" The reindeer called out.
"And do you know what mission Enel-sama gave me?"
Pointing the palm of his hand at Chopper, he smiled sadistically.
"I must kill any intruders I find."
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Cried Chopper.
" DIE ! "
"HEEEEEEEEEEEEELLLLLLLLLPPPPPPP!" Two voices suddenly shouted.
Running out of the forest, Jango and Fullbody managed to find themselves in a clear field, while they were chased by two shandians.
"We've got you." The two Native Americans assured, pointing their spears at them.
However, now able to properly use his weapons, Jango launched one of his chakrams towards them. In an instant, the spears of the two shandians were cut in half.
" What ? "
"And it's not over." Fullbody assured.
Jumping towards his two opponents, he inflated his muscles, before pulverizing their jaws with his brass knuckles. And quickly, the duo fell at the feet of the two Navy soldiers, who began to laugh.
"As if you had any chance of defeating Hina-sama's elite soldiers! HAHAHAHA!"
Nevertheless, the two men fell silent, seeing Chopper and Gedatsu.
"Huh? Who are you?"
