Chapter 9

Inko steps behind her son who's crouched down before the door tying his shoes as he gets ready for the day. The Sports Festival has finally arrived and Izuku will admit, he's feeling very nervous, well more nervous than he usually feels. His mother gently says,

"Izuku, be careful not to get hurt."

"Okay." He replies distractedly as he puts on his bookbag.

"I'm serious, you gave me a scare last week when that villain attacked the beach!"

"I barely had a scratch mom!" he somewhat whines.

"I know it's just… a mother always worries for her child." Her eyes become downcast.

Feeling guilty, Izuku stands and embraces his mother lovingly.

"I know mom and I love you for it. But I'm gonna be fine. I promise!"

She sniffles and wipes her eye dry.

"I'll record it, okay? In high resolution!"

"Okay!" he smiles.

She returns a smile excitedly, "Do your best!"

"You know it mom!"

He then leaves their home and walks down the steps, where his neighbor and friend Peter Parker is waiting for him. Peter nods,

"Excited, nervous, or both?"

Izuku smirks, "Both. But I gotta admit, I'm not as nervous as I would've been thanks to us training together! I can't imagine how I'd feel by myself."

"Don't sweat it Midoriya, S'what friends are for."

Izuku smiles and adds, "Yea… and thanks about promising to keep it secret."

"No problem. I still find it hard to believe that All Might gave you his quirk!"

Izuku smiles and still cringes inside as he remembers how Peter stumbled across their secret.

(Flashback)

In Dagobah beach

Midoriya, donning his Full Cowling, flips out the way of the web balls Peter shoots and dashes forward, fist cocked at his side ready to throw a powerful punch but Peter last minute contorts his body and evades the punch while throwing a wild kick behind him, catching Izuku in his side and rocketing him towards the waves. Peter panics,

"OH Shit! I'm so sorry I didn't mean to use that much force!"

He helps up his slightly dazed friend.

"Are you alright?"

"I am actually!" he rubs his side, "It hurt but my quirk gives me enough durability to take the hit. Still you pack some serious power!" Izuku compliments, "But you're still holding back."

Peter helps him up, "Of course, I mean we are training, plus I don't exactly know the upper limits of my strength so I'd rather throw some weak punches instead of unintentionally turning anyone I hit into a live Jackson Pollock painting."

"O-o yea now that you say that, I understand what you mean."

Peter claps his shoulder, "Let's take 5, I'll get us something to drink alright?"

The greenette nods and watches his friend leave the area to get some refreshments. Izuku turns towards the waves and inhales the seabreeze when he hears, "AH! Midoriya shonen! I knew I'd find you training here!"

"A-All Might!"

The skeletal frame of the number one hero greets him and yet he's still as awestruck as he was when he met him powered up for the first time, "I see that you're getting ready for the Sports Festival correct?"

Izuku smiles and raises his clenched fist, "You bet! I'm gonna give it my all!"

"HAA HA HA HA HA! That's the spirit! I came by because I remember you telling me you've figured out how to activate One for All completely without injuring yourself."

Izuku rubs his arm self consciously, "In a way. I-I mean I can activate a full cowling but, my limit is only 5%. If I go any higher then I'll start breaking like I did the first time. (sigh) How am I gonna be able to stand against anyone in the Sports Festival when they're all so powerful and mastered their quirk and I can barely even tap into it?"

All Might comforts the young boy, "My boy, you've only just got your quirk. And these students have had it all their lives so of course it'll look like they're more powerful. And yet you've had it for such a short time and already have made leaps and bounds of progress. I truly believe you may surprise even yourself during the Sports Festival!"

"It doesn't feel like I will."

"Midoriya shonen, I granted you my power because I want you to succeed me, in fact I know you will succeed me!" he clenches his fist triumphantly, "You have the heart of a true hero! Believe in it and you'll reach your potential!"

He transforms into his powered state, "This event will be your chance to show the whole world that you are the fledgling Symbol of Peace, you will tell the world 'I Am Here!'" he raises his fist heroically.

Izuku can't help but smile from the inspiration but that smile quickly drops when he hears the sound of impact in the sand. He looks behind All Might and all the color leaves Izuku's face as he sees Peter standing there and staring at the number one hero. All Might turns and stares right back, a single sweat drop falling slowly down his face.

"Oh… Parker Shonen…. I can explain this."

Peter opens and closes his mouth a few times, "Were… did… skinny… now muscular… huh?... Is is this real!?"

Izuku flails and tries to salvage the situation, "AHHHH No no! it's just a shapeshifting quirk! This is a family friend!"

"Wasn't he in the school faculty? I could've sworn I've seen a skeletal teacher walking around UA." Peter is still staring wide eyed at the hero, who simply sighs and depowers himself.

Izuku throws his hands to his face, "Ahh All Might what're you doing!?"

"So that IS All Might!"

Realizing his slip of the tongue, "NO! No it isn't!"

All Might places a bony hand on his shoulder, "It's ok my boy."

He walks up to Peter, "Yes it's true, I am All Might."

The American teen nods slowly, "I have… just so many questions right now."

"And I'll answer them truthfully."

And he does, All might spends the next few minutes telling Peter the entire truth. About the power passed down from one generation to the next to stand against a great evil. About how he became the number one hero and Symbol of Peace with that power. About how he was gravely injured and neared his limit. And how he selected Izuku as his successor. Peter listened intently, rarely saying a word as the number one hero explained everything.

"Wow, I knew there was some similarities between your powers, I should've guessed it was because they were one and the same."

All Might grunts in agreement, "I am entrusting you with the truth because I believe you are a person who is reliable. This must stay between us."

Peter gives him a firm bow, "I understand completely and I am honored that you entrusted me with this. I won't let you down."

"That's good to hear."

"but why did you tell me?"

"Because the same heroic heart I've seen in young Midoriya, is the same one I see in you. You've proven yourself time and time again how pure your heart is. And this power, this responsibility; it's difficult to manage by yourself. I see that now. And I don't want young Midoriya to have to go through this difficult path all by himself like I did. So please, help each other."

Peter looks to Midoriya, who isn't meeting his gaze then back to All Might who's staring at him imploringly, "You have my word."

Izuku snaps up and tearfully smiles at his friend. All Might grins as well and goes back into his powered form, "HA HA HA HA! That's what I like to hear!"

"Oh my god look it's All Might!"

"Where!?"

"I need to have an autograph!"

All Might sweat drops again, "oh uh oops! I think it's time to move this else where!"

He and Izuku start speeding off leaving Peter behind. He double takes and starts running after them, "Hey wait up!"

(Flashback ends)

Peter waves off Midoriya, "Ah don't sweat it, I'm still sorry I walked in on that."

"It's mostly our fault for having private conversations in the open like that, heh, we really gotta stop doing that."

"Wait you've done that before?"

"U-um yes."

"How have you kept this a secret for so long?"

Izuku scratches his chin, "I…I don't know."

Peter just shrugs as they make their way to the school. On the outside he looks calm but inside, he feels pretty guilty. Here Izuku and All Might is trusting him with possibly the biggest secret of the century and yet Peter couldn't find it in him to tell them his own. He can't help but feel like a bad friend. Why didn't I say anything! I mean it's not like I can't trust them, he's freaking All Might! If there's anyone who I can tell about the reason I'm in UA it's him. And… izuku too. Why am I hesitating? Ugh am I a bad friend? He decides to drop that train of thought as they make their way to UA. The whole class is buzzing with excitement as the day of the Sports Festival is here. They all know what this means, hero agencies all over will be watching, waiting to see who impresses them enough to be worth training themselves.

Peter smiles warmly once he sees Momo sitting in her desk. She returns his smile in kind as he takes his seat. "You feeling Ready Parker-san?" she asks in english.

He grins appreciatively. True to her word, Momo has been teaching Peter to better grasp the Japanese language but she also decided to speak to him in English as well to give him a break and to talk freely without worrying that he'd accidentally say anything that would be offensive.

"As ready as I can be, but really nervous too." He opens his bookbag and takes out his mask.

She raises an eyebrow, "Why do you have that with you?"

"Oh uh I'm still working on it since it's the only part of my costume I have anymore and… Can I confess something to you?"

"Of course. What's wrong?"

She leans in with worry etching her face. Peter looks away so he doesn't end up staring dumbly into her eyes and explains, "I have severe stage fright and the fact this whole thing is gonna be in front of a crowd and even televised has kinda kept me awake with anxiety at night."

Confused she asks, "I have a hard time understanding, I mean you handled the training we did easily enough and with a healthy amount of bravado as well, how is it you still have stage fright?"

Peter cringes and holds up his mask, "Cause of this. It's like a barrier in a way, protection. It hides how scared I'm feeling and I can be different I guess. I don't know, it's hard to explain it's dumb."

"it's not. I think I understand, it gives you a level of comfort you need right?" she guesses correctly.

"Heh, yea you're right. I don't know why I doubted you'd figure out my jumbled mess of a thinking process."

"It's a puzzle that's satisfyingly challenging enough to figure out." She teases.

He half heartedly glares but chuckles. Truth be told he's happy and infinitely relieved at the state of his friendship with Momo. He had no shortage of anxiety when he explained what truly has been driving him because of his fear that others would look down at his shameful actions that led to his Uncle's death and yet, she didn't. she didn't look down on him or spit on his name. She still treated him like a true friend and for that he is forever grateful. Since then they truly have gotten closer, at this point he'd even say he's just as much a friend with her as he is with Izuku.

Peter is broken out of his thoughts as the bell rings, signifying that it's time for them to prepare themselves for the Sports Festival. Ochaco, being the one closest to the door, opens it, only to find a large amount of the student body waiting.

"Wha… whatt's going on!?"

Iida snaps to attention and chops at the air, "What business do you have with Class 1A?" he asks professionally.

Mineta riding his coattails says, "We can't get out! What'd you come here for anyway?!"

Bakugo stomps their way with a bored expression, "Scouting out the enemy small fry. We're the ones who made it out of the villains attack. They probably wanna check us out before the Sports Festival."

Mineta stares dumbfounded after Bakugo shaking as he points at him with Izuku trying to explain, "This is Bakugo at neutral." He says tiredly.

Bakugo stands before the rest of them and Peter sees how it looks, like as if Bakugo is the leader of the class and addressing them in their honor. And knowing Bakugo, this'll probably entertaining.

"There's no point in doing stuff like this." He sneers, "Out of my way extras!"

Horrified, Ochaco, Iida, and Izuku all say, "Stop calling people 'extras' just because you don't know them!"

Peter just drops his face into his hands with a groan. Momo shakes her head, "I can't believe this."

"I can. But you know what? This is probably for the best."

She gives him a 'are you serious' look. "how could this possibly be the best outcome?"

"Knowing Bakugo, I was fully expecting him say die or threaten them with explosions if they don't get out of his way."

Momo rubs her chin, "You... actually have a good point, that's always been his go to greetings for even his own classmates. I guess it was always going to be a lose-lose situation."

"Yea we're definitely not gonna have that many fans out there today."

"All the more reason to try harder!"

"Got that right!"

They both begin to get up as the last bit of Bakugo's exchange with the students happen, "Don't you ignore me you bastard!"

Bakugo doesn't listen as he continues to walk away from the large group. Kirishima shakes as he says, "That's so simple and manly."

Really?

Kaminari shares the same sentiment as he says, "Hang on, he just made more pointless enemies!"

"That's right!" mineta agrees. "we'll just be at a disadvantage at the Sports Festival!"

Oh great Bakugo, you made me agree with mineta of all people, Peter gags.

Peter goes to ask Izuku something when he hears Izuku says, "kaachan, Am I an idiot!?"

Raising an eyebrow, Peter listens to what Izuku is whispering to himself, but he ends it there. Wonder what that's all About.

The Stadium for the UA Sports Festival was packed and buzzing with energy. All around people were getting to their seats or making lines at the stand. Reporters were setting their equipment up and the ones who already finished were trying to get exclusive interviews with the heroes present . Mirko was one of such heroes being interviewed as they asked,

"You have not had an intern in your agency for the past 4 years, will this year be any different?"

"That all depends on the students themselves, and I have a feeling quite a few will surprise us this year." She answers as he mind goes to a certain spider powered teen.

A sonic boom is heard and everyone looks up as they see none other than Iron Man fly down from the sky and land before everyone in a perfect superhero landing. He stands with his arms open wide, basking in the attention of the fluttering reporters and fans. His helmet peels back into his suit and he smirks at the flashes of light.

"Mr Stark! Mr Stark!"

"Please please one at a time, yes?"

"Mr Stark, you have never attended a Sports Festival before why is this year so different?"

"I think we should give the promising youth a chance to chase their dreams don't you?" he answers charmingly.

"Mr Stark is this in anyway connected to your recent decision to build a new headquarters in Japan for Stark Industries?"

"Of course not, this is me simply trying to do my part in keeping the world wide economy going strong!"

Mirko listens to him charm the sea of reporters with a roll of her eyes. She scoffs, "show off."

Peter and Sato both bounce their legs in unison as they nervously await the commencement of the festival. "I wonder what the first obstacle will be?"

Tokoyami crosses his arms, "Whatever it is we will have no choice but to face it head on."

"True but still can't but wonder what it is." Peter comments, only getting a grunt in return.

Sato turns to Peter, "Why're you wearing your mask?"

"I feel more comfortable with it on. Are you gonna ask Shoji the same thing?"

Sato turns to Shoji who gives him a somewhat menacing stare thanks to his mask. "Ummm no."

At that moment Iida slams the door open, "Everyone are you ready!? We will be entering soon!"

"Why is he always shouting?" Peter grumbles.

The rest of the class does what they can to hype themselves up. Mineta writes person on his hand over and over, Izuku does some breathing exercises, Peter fiddles with his web shooters and Bakugo rubs his hands together, itching to blow something up. But for some reason Todoroki addresses Izuku, "Midoriya. Looking at things objectively, I think I'm stronger than you."

"… The fuck?"

"But All Might has his eyes on you, doesn't he?"

Peter is alarmed, could he suspect about one for all?

"I'm not trying to pry about that."

Oh good.

"But I'm going to beat you." He states it so calmly and matter a factly, one would believe it to be true already.

Peter starts to get up to defend his friend but Momo stops him. She shakes her head, her eyes saying, let him deal with this. Not liking it one bit, but trusting her and his neighbor, he complies.

"Is this the best in the class making a declaration of war?" Kaminari grins in anticipation.

But Izuku doesn't back down and he clenches his fists tightly, "Todoroki, I don't know what you're thinking when you say you'll beat me, but of course you're better than me. I think you're more capable than most people." Dammit Izuku this isn't the time for self doubt!

"But everyone, the students from the other courses are aiming for the top with everything they got!"

Where's he going with this?

A determined expression takes over Midoriya's face as he glares into Todoroki's eyes, "I can't afford to fall behind. I'll be going for it with everything I have too!"

The spider themed teen grins proudly as he witnesses his friend finally stand up for himself!

He gets up and smacks Izuku's back loudly, "That's my boy! You got that Vanilla ice? He ain't backing down for no one!"

Everyone stays silent as they somewhat glare at Peter.

"… What?"

Kirishima pinches the bridge of his nose. "Dude you ruined the epic moment!"

A knock breaks the awkward moment and a security guard states, "Time to go!"

They all file out and head into the stadium, the screaming crowd rumbling the hallway as they reach the light. Peter gulps once he makes it out as he sees just how full and big the stadium is, "Boy I'm glad I'm wearing a mask!"

"WELCOME EVERYONE AND ALL TO THE UA SPORTS FESTIVAL! WHERE ONCE A YEAR YOU GET TO SEE OUR HEROES IN TRAINING DUKE IT OUT FOR FAME, GLORY AND A CHANCE TO IMPRESS THE BEST OF THE BEST!" Present Mic announces to the world.

"FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW ME I AM YOUR HOST AND MC OF THE FIRST YEAR CIRCUIT, PRESENT MIC! JOINING ME FOR COLOR COMMENTARY IS MUMMYZAWA! ALSO KNOWN AS ERASERHEAD!"

Peter clutches his mouth as he begins to laugh uncontrollably until his spider sense goes off and looks up to the booth and somehow, sees Aizawa glaring down at him with his hair up in the air. Why do I get the feeling that I'm somehow gonna pay for that, Peter gulps.

"THIS YEARS FIRST YEAR CROP OF HERO PROSPECTS MIGHT BE THE BEST AND THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL IN A LONG WHILE! THE FIRST GROUP WALKING TO THE CENTER OF THE ARENA, YOU KNOW'EM FROM THE NEWS FOR SURVIVING AND THWARTING THE RECENT VILLAIN ATTACK ON OUR CAMPUS! GIVE IT UP FOR THE HERO COURSE'S CLASS 1-A!"

The crowd goes wild and Peter covers his sensitive ears from the loud sound as the stadium practically shakes in excitement.

"Man Present Mic really knows how to work a crowd!" Denki comments impressed as he waves at the adoring crowd.

Ejiro grins widely, "I'm getting so pumped up right now!"

"To think all these people and news outlets are more interested in us for what we went through. It's kinda messed up…" Ojiro says.

"It's like with being a rock band, the more controversy, the more eyeballs." Jiro answers while inspecting the crowd.

Good on her for still being on guard.

"AND HERE ARE THE REST OF THE FIRST YEAR CLASS! FROM THE HERO COURSE, CLASS B!" The crowd cheers but noticeably less than they did previously, "FOLLOWING UP ARE CLASSES C, D, AND E FROM GENERAL EDUCATION!"

"Boy he's really not doing us any favors with those lackluster introductions." Peter said as he notices the grumpy expressions the rest of the class had as they glared in their direction.

The introductions continue until finally everything was set to begin and Midnight took the stage. "I'm not trying to shame her or anything but is that costume really appropriate to wear for a high school event?"

Jiro and Momo share a look before shrugging, "Well her other costume is literally lingerie panties and a strap across her chest so this is probably the best option."

Peter blushes as a mental image comes up and he quickly pushes it down. "Right."

"Silence!" she demands with a crack of her whip, everyone instinctively snapping to attention, "Now, representing the students is Katsuki Bakugo from Class 1-A!"

"WHAT?!"

"WHAT?!"

Peter and Izuku yell at once.

Bakugo grunts and stalks towards the stage.

"Who in the hell thinks that's a good idea!?" Peter asks.

"Well he did finish first in the entrance exam." Sero answers.

"Actually from what I heard Present Mic chose him because he suspects Bakugo will say something or do something that'll 'stoke the crowds and light the fuse for the classes'. I think he just wanted there to be tension to sell the show." Mina explains.

"Oh he'll definitely supply that." Peter grumbles.

Bakugo reaches the microphone and inspects the crowd before simply stating, "My pledge- is that I'll be number one."

The whole crowd starts booing with Iida yelling, "Why are you doing something so disgraceful?!"

"At least become a nice bouncy step for me to jump off of."

Peter grits his teeth, "That asshole!"

But he stops when he hears Izuku whisper to himself, "Confidence? No… the old Kaachan would've laughed while saying that. He's driving himself into a corner."

Peter can't help but ask, "Why do you say that like as if you respect him for it?"

"W-what?"

"You make it sound like it's cool that he arrogantly told everyone he's basically gonna trample all over them and putting more people against us!" he accuses.

Izuku raises his hands and stammers, "W-well i-it pushes him to perform at his best!"

"That's not worthy of respect though! And it sure as hell isn't something a hero should be doing! Why do you excuse him so much?"

Izuku looks away, "i-it's because Kaachan is my friend and –"

"Your friend?" Peter asks incredulously, "he's nearly killed you like 3 times since we started class, verbally abuses you and everyone else every chance he gets and god knows what he's done to you growing up and yet you still look up to him?"

"I-it sounds bad w-when you say it like that."

"That's because it is bad." He says deadpanned.

"B-but there's more to it than that!"

Peter shakes his head, "You know what, maybe there is but for the life of me I don't think I'll be able to understand it. This honestly feels like a form of Stockholm syndrome or something."

Their conversation ends as the first obstacle is announced.

"Obstacle race! All 11 classes will participate in this race! The course will be the outer circumference of this stadium, about 4 kilometers! Our schools selling point is freedom!" she licks her lips maliciously, "As long as you stay on the course it doesn't matter what you do!"

That can backfire so horribly.

The crowd goes wild as they all get in their places, Peter takes a few deep breathes as he puts himself into a crouch, Izuku activating One for All full Cowling. The light turns green and the entire crowd immediately begins running. Todoroki right away freezes the entire area, most of the students getting stuck in place. Thankfully Peter's reflexes allowed him to jump right in time but couldn't attach himself to the slipperiness of the ice on the ceiling so he and Izuku both jump off the students shoulders. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! Trust me I'm not trying to use this as symbolism for literally or figuratively stepping all over you!"

"Somehow I don't think they'll believe you!" Momo yells as she uses a staff she conjured like a pole vault.

Peter looks back for a second and sees a purple haired student being carried, "How he hell did he get them to agree to do that for him?"

Peter has already caught up to Todoroki when his spider sense goes off and he twists in the air, evading a swipe from a robot and he instinctively webs the arm and swings himself until he's on it's back and punches straight through it's chest, destroying it's power source. He jumps off and realizes that his spider sense is still flaring when he finally sees the large amount of robots standing in his way.

"Targets found… lots!"

Izuku realizes, "The faux villains from the entrance exam!"

"OBSTACLES HAVE SHOWN UP SUDDENLY! STARTING WITH THE FIRST BARRIER! ROBO INFERNO!"

Suddenly the giant zero point robots appear as well.

Peter shakes his head, "With how much our lives are put in danger here they must have impressive insurance policies!"

Authors Note: here we go! i know it's definitely the weakest chapter i've written so far, i wasn't exactly in the best of places when i wrote this emotionally, but the main points i wanted to get to for this chapter was PEter finding out about one for all and also Peter commenting about Izuku's unhealthy 'friendship' with bakugo, plus i'm rewriting the next few chapters because i had some new ideas and i was dissatisfied with how they were. And yes i feel like this is exactly how someone would find out the truth because All Might and Izuku were both terrible at keeping their secret, what with All Might changing forms a lot of times out in the open, or losing his power mid transformation or both of them blurting out things like that. Always, thanks again to everyon who has commented, favorited and followed! it's much apprreaciated and i promise the next chapters will be better, this is just filler.

Random65: lol i'll try to do right by both characters, plus they'll have a few big moments starting in the sports festival.

OK KO: yea, most of them are like that but thankfully our heroes in training are definitely learning to be true heroes! and i think the last time i read a spiderman/deadpool comic was when PEter was CEO and deadpool was sent to kill Pter Parker and also trying to convince spiderman that Peter Parker is a bad person.

Maximum Rhapsody: Yea that's one of the reasons why I'm rewriting the next chapters becuase i want to add a little more to their interactions and truly show the strength in their relationships, at least that's what i'm aiming for. Peter's powers will evolve more but he won't get extra powers at least just yet, honestly because im still decided what other powers to give him. and yes actually i have! i'm preparing to write a few other fanfictions right now, 2 of them are react fanfictions with the MHA class reacting to some movies and the Attack on Titan cast watching the a slap on titan Parody. Since others have already done the MCU movies I'm gonna focus on others like the movie Logan, which is by far my favorite comic book movie.

greengoblin12: thank you! yea Peter's talent of getting on peoples nerves can work on just about anyone! I hope i wont disappoint when she does get to training Peter!

spider of the leaf: Thank you! truthfully it was a mix of the sandman episode in ultimate spiderman and the hydroman episode in the spiderman TAS, I'll definitely check it out, though my favorite part of the spiderman venom arc was alwyas how much it can control him and although it does originate from the cartoon, i am going to incorporate the negative personality changes it does to him cause that's something i loved that they had added to the sotry because in my opinion it improved the arc. and yes i am going to change Momo's internship, you might be surprised by the choice and i agree she definitely deserved better than what she got originally. i won't have it drag for a long time, just gonna let it grow naturally and even though Peter doesn't always do it, he will admit his feelings when he realizes it due to at that point he'll have a a healthy amount of confidence at the time. and you are correct!

TheGreatGodzilla: One thing i have to say, All for One is not fighting for any of that. you can even check out his personality profile in their website and other databases, he's a villain through and through, he pretends to fight for equality and jsutice only tog et supporters, that's how he originally came into power before All Might stopped him, and All for One himelf stated that he believes that ideals like justice, morality, and equality don't conform to reality. he ran things like a mob boss, he pretended to be good and help others solely so they feel obligated to serve him. hell currently in the manga Spoiler alert spoiler alert spoiler alert, he took over shigaraki's body since it became strong enough to contain his quirks and he can continue living, effectively killing the man who looked up to him like a father and turns out that was his plan all along, not for shigaraki to continue his 'dream' but just a vessel so he can selfishly continue living and gaining power for himself and he's actively trting to steal one for all from Izuku especially to spite his deceased brother. Honestly Apocalypse has better moral standards since at least he beleives that he's doing good, while All for One is serving only himself and only truly cares about himself and nothing about improving society. Yea i never watched the 2017 spiderman because when i saw the trailers, it honestly didn't interst me so i jsut started watching other things and heavily got into watching anime at that point in my life. though i will give it a try now, especially the episodes you recommended. Yea Zola could survive but in my story headcannon he didn't, the times of those heroes and villains have passed. Hydra's ideals and such was reduced to very little like the neo nazi's of today but none of them have grown in power. my main villain faction of marvel that i'll be using will be the Friends of it comes to Kitty pryde and the others of the Xavier institute, i'm only gonna use a small amount of characters, it'll be like a small cooperation between the two schools nothing that major but i may use some of the characters you'e listed. Acts of heroism like those are the unintentional examples of heroism that inspired others to use their quirks for the greater good and helped usher in the new age of heroes. And when it comes to their laws, it's more like a form of SHRA that didn't infringe on their human rights, but over time, as it happens in most societies, some people of power tried changing things for their benefit. but as i said before those are things that'll be addresssed later on in the story. Just imagine if captain america and Charles Xavier were the ones version of the SHRA, it would actually be beneficial to society ( because in my world, like in the ultimate universe, Captain America became President of the United States). And with Hawkeye and Black widow, they did what they did in the MCU, help Cap takedown the rotting house despite their ties to it, cause they believed in something better. Honestly, with All Might declaring himself a symbol of peace, he did it with good intentions, he didn't want to or was even trying to intentionally fool anyone. he did it because he truly believed that the world needed a symbol, like how batman says it and how even superman says it. Other heroes like Superman always save people with a smile on their face because that smile is there to reassure the people that things can be alright, that things can be better. again using Kingdom Come as a reference, a figurehead is sometimes needed so as to give the heroes themselves an example on heroism because they had a 'hero' called Magog who basically was punisher if he had superman powers. things went to shit, and there was barely any difference between heroes and villains. but with supermans return people saw how to truly help and hope returned. All Might isn't the bad guy in this, the anime and the manga both address that they were foolish to rely on solely one man for peace but that's what i'm also using because as the manga is also showing, for there to be symbols of peace, it doesn't have to be only one person. Also one quote i liked in Batman v Superman that works for All might is, maybe he's not some god, maybe he's just a guy trying to do the right thing. and he is, he's a guy trying to do the right thing, it's honestly on everyone else if they take it a different way. like The hero killer stain was inspired by All Might because he saw him as a true hero while everyone else were glory hounds, so he started killing them. That's not on All Might, that's on him, he didn't need to take it to that extreme. And all Might does want peace in the world, all heroes do, he acknowledges though that it's impossible to happen, but it's still ok to hope and fight for it. if not then whats the point of being a hero? he knows that when he's gone things will go bad again so that's why he was looking for a successor, to continue that mission. It's not false hope, it's a reason for people to hope. to hope for a world like that. which even in the real world we all hope for despite how bad things are. I hope you don't take this the wrong way either and i don't mean any offense either, this is stuff that he has addressed in the manga more indepth and somewhat in the anime. Those are some good suggestions for the venom arc and honestly if i hadnt already set what i have for the arc i probably would've used it honestly! And yea Mirko will definitely buttheads with ironman, who may feel a little jealous but i digress! and thank you!

I hope you like these fanfics: Thank you and Peter's jittery ways are traits i borrowed from the MCU spiderman, he'll grow out of it eventually and i purposely have him not quipping as much because he hasn't fully set into his spiderman identity, he's still getting comfortable in his skin so to speak but the moment when he fully embraces himself, that's when he'll truly be the spiderman we know and love.
