Chapter 25

"So!" Mina starts as she plops down on Momo's bed, the rest of the girls following suit as they enter the lavish, suite like residence. "You gonna fill us in on what's been happening between you and Pete?"

"Mina!" Jiro drawls warningly.

But Momo calms her, "It's ok. Surprisingly, I—I feel it'd be best if I do inform you all."

The group are rather shocked by the Vice rep's admittance, Mina especially. The pink skinned teen feels giddy at the prospect of her thirst for romance to be quenched, but she's at the same time disappointed since she had a well thought out game plan in getting Momo to confess what she was withholding.

"Are you sure Yaomomo? You don't have to say anything if you don't want to." Uraraka reasons.

Momo appreciates the gesture, "Thank you, but I find myself in need of you support. I'm sorry to burden you with this."

"Come on Momo we're your friends, supporting each other is part of the job description." Jiro replies stowing away her worries.

Mina adds in, "Yea, as much as I push, if you don't feel comfortable then you don't have to say anything."

Momo shyly smiles and bows, "Thank you. I truly mean it."

A pregnant silence follows as the 3 girls stare at the raven haired beauty who finds herself at a loss for words. Moments turn into minutes, with Mina beginning to impatiently pat her thighs, to which Jiro puts a stop to once it begins grating on her nerves.

"So… You gonna fill us in or what?"

"S-Sorry, Th-This is so new to me. I don't know how exactly to start!" Momo twirls the end of the strands that frames her face, pink dusting her cheeks.

Tired of waiting, an idea pops into Mina's head and she begins smirking, "What was her name, Gwen? Hmm maybe I should give her a call?"

""That won't be necessary!" Momo answers a little too quickly.

Sighing in defeat, Momo elegantly sits in a nearby seat and crosses her legs as she begins to explain, "I think it goes without saying that there has been a strange … tension brewing between Parker-kun and I."

"You're telling me."

"Pretty obvious."

"There was?"

Jiro and Mina give Uraraka an incredulous look for her sheer cluelessness. The brunette is perplexed by the looks she's getting and nervously asks, "W-what?"

"It's the most obvious thing in the world!" Mina exclaims.

"I-I didn't see it ok!?"

Jiro twirls her earphone jack, "You two gonna give her a chance to explain or you gonna keep interrupting?"

"No! Please Momo continue!" Mina hops onto her feet, grinning.

"Thank you… Well, Peter and I discussed it and we a-acknowledged that there is an attraction between us."

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The three cover their ears to protect their eardrums from rupturing thanks to Mina's squeal. Eventually Jiro takes a chance and wraps her jacks around Mina's mouth, thankfully saving themselves from suffering from deafness. "Thank you!" Uraraka says, rubbing her throbbing ears.

Mina struggles against her bonds before finally uncovering her mouth, "I knew it! I knew it was love!"

This time Mmo began stuttering, her eyes growing wide and face getter redder than a tomato, "Love!?" Her voice was much higher pitched, "Wh-Who said anything about love!? I only said we were attracted together!"

"That's how it starts~!" Mina sings.

"Nothing has started though!"

The three stop and give varying looks of confusion, "Whatcha mean Yaomomo?"

Momo drops her head with a sigh, "I mean, we came to the agreement that now wouldn't be the right time to… act on this attraction."

"WHAAAAAAAAAAA!?"

"Stop that!" Jiro whines.

Mina grips Momo's shoulders fiercely and shakes her, "What do you mean?! Are you gonna deny me my one chance of happiness?!"

"Don't you mean their happiness?" Gravity girl asks.

"That's what I said!"

"Not exac—"

"Momo how could you do this! Oh no wonder Peter looked to someone else for comfort!" Mina dramatically poses with one hand on her head and the other on her chest.

"That's not what he did!" Momo retorts, with a little more force than she intended.

And the rest caught it, "She's right." Jiro adds, "Parker may act a fool sometimes, but he's got a good heart. I don't see him as the type to hop from one girl to the other. Kaminari on the other hand…" She grumbles.

"You're probably right, but still why did you decide that Momo? Wouldn't you be happier if you got together with Peter?" Mina asks, genuinely thinking of her friends feelings.

"P-possibly, but as I told him, this isn't a situation I thought I'd ever find myself in! We're training to become the heroes of tomorrow, bringing honor to my family, we have too much responsibilities for us to indulge in these… feelings." Momo replies, downcast.

Mina looks disappointed as she tries to think up a good argument against this, Jiro looks sympathetic as she can see how much this is conflicting her close friend. But Uraraka can see something else.

"There's more to it, isn't there?" She asks the Vice rep.

Momo is visibly stunned by the fact that she was found out so quickly but does not deny it. "There is. I-I'm just not ready… I'm afraid."

Feeling for her, Mina asks, "But why are you afraid?"

"Peter, he's awoken something in me. A feeling so free so unburdened. It's like I've been introduced to new emotions I've never experienced before. I've never had a, what was it called, a crush? I've never had a crush on someone before or felt the, admittedly, jealousy that I felt today. I'm scared of what could happen or what can change. For better or worse."

"I knew it!" mina pumps a fist in the air but apologizes as she sees the look she's getting from Jiro.

Uraraka stays silent as she unconsciously brings herself back to the moment she saw Izuku earlier that day, how she felt when she saw him spending time with, dare she say, the gorgeous blonde genius that was standing oh so close to him. She shook her head to clear her thoughts. This isn't about her, it's about momo.

Momo hugs herself, "I just don't know what to do."

Mina embraces her tightly, "There there Yaomomo. You're over thinking things! Sometimes things like this happen! It's a part of life and a beautiful one at that! Just like with everything else in life it's meant to be experienced and relished! You can't let fear dictate every decision you make."

Momo seems to be taking her words into consideration, until Uraraka decides to throw her two cents in. "But it's not only fear is it? I mean, she's right, we are trying to be heroes. This takes up so much time and focus in our lives. We have to give it our all and let o-others give it their all too. It'd be unfair for us to distract each other from their dreams right?"

Mina gapes at her incredulously, "Distract each other?! Come on, it's love! What's more important than that?!"

"If it's so important why don't you find it yourself?" The question seemed harsh, but it was clear Jiro meant it only for curiosity purposes.

"Pssh I like to live vicariously through others! Besides, haven't exactly felt any need for it myself."

"What do you think Jiro?" Momo wonders.

"I think both of them have something of a point, but none of us are you. This is your decision and only you can make it. Just keep in mind you're not obligated to make only him happy so, if you want to do this then do it. If you don't then don't, simple as that."

Momo groans into her hands, "Why doesn't it feel simple?"

"That's love for ya!" Mina says with a shrug.

"It's not love!"

"But it can be!~" She sings again.

The creative hero in training's phone vibrates and she checks the ID. "Oh it's Iida." She reads the message. "Ah, he's informing me that we're to meet in one hour for tonight's festivities." She's thankful to have something to cut the conversation short.

"You mean we have to dress up?" Uraraka asks.

"Yes it is a formal event."

"I-I don't have a dress." She shyly admits.

"It's ok! I can make you one!" Momo offers.

The brunette tries to graciously decline, "Oh no no I can't impose!"

"nonsense, it's the least I can doI should've told you before hand"!

Mina's eyes lights up, "Hey how about Jiro and I brainstorm a design!"

"What is this a makeover?"

"Yup!"

"Ugh fine."

Uraraka beams, "Thanks everyone!"

Thanks to Iida's persistent reminders, Peter and Izuku had ushered Mei out of his room; with more force needed given how deceptively strong she is; and finally began readying themselves for the nights event. True to his word, Tony had provided Peter with a suit that wasn't overly fancy. A simple black suit and tie that fit him rather will, not overly tight but still close enough to show his physique without taking up his mobility. Izuku's suit is a lot more modest, being a striped brown suit with a black bowtie. Peter smirks as they pass the threshold to the designated area Iida had chosen for the class to meet.

"You know you kinda look like a mix of the 10th and 11th doctor."

Izuku returns the smirk, "The 10th doctor was my favorite so thanks!"

They find Iida impatiently waiting alone with Kaminari and Todoroki, huffing once the neighbors make their appearance.

"Sorry about that—huh where's everybody?"

Iida chops the air, "They're not here yet! Does a proper meeting time mean nothing to you people!?"

Peter Sighs exasperatedly, "Come on cut us some slack, you planned for us to be here 2 whole hours before the ceremony!"

"Punctuality is an important trait to have, more especially as heroes in training!"

Before they two can bicker, one of the doors begins to open and Kaminari starts rubbing his hands in anticipation, "Now for the moment I've been waiting for!"

The door reveals Uraraka dressed in a nice pink gown with the skirt flared out just above the knee, revealing her signature stockings underneath. She sheepishly scratches her head as she immediately begins to apologize, "Sorry I'm late! It took me a while to get ready."

Izuku's breath hitches slightly as his eyes roam over Uraraka, captivated by her appearance, which does not escape Peter's notice. He smirks but chooses to say nothing, not wanting to embarrass his friend who snaps out of it and shyly checks his surroundings to make sure no one had caught him staring.

"Best night ever!" Kaminari whispers to himself.

The door opens once again from where Uraraka had entered, this time revealing Melissa running to the group with Gwen in tow. Melissa wearing her hair in a ponytail and a blue and white strapless dress; Gwen in a hot pink strapless dress, her golden locks flowing unrestrained in the air.

"I thought we were gonna miss you guys!" Melissa informs them in relief.

Gwen's eyes quickly meets Peter as she gives him an appreciative nod, "Don't you look dapper? This is certainly an upgrade from that dusty old suit you grew out of 5 years ago."

"Hold on now, I'm very sure I had one more use in that suit, it was a classic!"

"Peter you were barely fitting in it when you were 12!"

"Yea yea, but you don't look too bad yourself."

Gwen beams as kaminari's nose practically gushes from blood, "I can't take this much beauty I think I might die!"

His heart would have to withstand more as the doors reveal the last of the participants, Mina, Jiro and Yaoyorozu. If Gwen was pretty, then Momo was a knockout to Peter. All air seems to escape his chest, his entire environment falls away and the only thing he can see is Momo. She falls under the same spell as her gaze never waivers from Peter's, the two completely ignoring the others as they inch closer to each other. Her Light green dress flowing like a waterfall around her legs as she comes to a stop in front of him.

"H-Hi Peter."

"Momo, You-You look gorgeous." Peter says breathlessly, still haven't been able to blink once.

Her lips curl playfully to the side, "Thank you, you look handsome as well."

He raises his hand like he was trying to reach her but the memory of their last conversation pops into both of their heads and he stops himself short. The pair shudder at the absence of contact, feeling slightly colder than they liked.

Jiro and Mina side step the two, "Those lovebirds really don't know what subtly means do they?"

"Let them have their moment Mina."

"Well aren't you two ladies lookin good this evening!"Kaminari gives them a wink and a thumbs up.

Mina grins and poses, "Just good?"

Jiro rolls her eyes as she uncomfortably shifts from one foot to the other, "Sh-shut up. This is way fancier than anything I've ever worn before, it's like I'm wearing a costume."

Kaminari smirks wider, "Anythin's better than that old T- shirt you always wear!"

Jiro glares and instantly brings her jacks to Kaminari's face and he cowers back in fear. "N-Not that you don't rock it any less than this dress!"

Mina giggles, "Real smooth Casanova!"

Uraraka quickly finds herself to Deku's side, seeking comfort as she explains, "This is my first time in a formal wear. Yaoyorozu decided to make this for me."

Izuku blushes as he sincerely replies, "It looks really good! Like perfect!"

Unable to face such praise she tries to laugh him off, "Oh Deku stop you don't have to flatter me so much!"

"I mean it!"

Iida chastises them, "Contain yourselves!"

The doors slam open, "Oh pour some oil in those engines and loose up will ya…. Huh I don't think I ever got your name!" Mei wonders to herself while slinging her bookbag over her right shoulder casually.

Offended Iida quickly storms up to her, "I am Tenya Iida! The man you used as an advertising tower during the Sports Festival!"

"Never heard of ya!"

"GRRRRR!"

Gwen gives her an appraising look, "Wow that's a really nice dress!"

Referring to the red dress Mei was gifted, with a halter style top and frilled out skirt that ends just at the knees… revealing her large combat boots.

"Those are not proper footwear for such an event!"

"But the dress is, won't you agree Mr stick in the mud?" Mei playfully poses, cocking an admittedly shapely hip out.

The act surprisingly makes Iida of all people stumble on his words.

"Did… did he just blush?" Peter asks in bewilderment.

"I think he did." Momo answers in the same amount of astonishment.

Mina grins gleefully, "My Ship senses are tingling!"

"Hey that's my line!"

"I didn't see you trademark it!"

"But on principle it's my property!"

"Principle? You've been hanging out with Iida too much!"

"There is nothing wrong in showing proper respect! And why did you bring a bookbag? This is supposed to be a formal event!"

"Full of companies who haven't seen any of my babies!"

Peter shakes his head with a chuckle but then grips it as his spider sense tingles painfully. Momo is the only one to notice as the rest bicker and they lock eyes as Peter winces again. Danger. The sound of feedback stops all conversation, allowing the formally comforting voice of the Security system to pierce the air, "This is an announcement from The I-Island security system."

Minutes ago in the Security room on the Top floor

The screens displaying all the security footage on the island start to disrupt, alarming the attending officers. "What's happening?!"

"The system sir! It's not responding, it's being overridden by an outside force!"

One Guard shakes his head and takes a look out the window and sees something strange flying on the horizon. It looks like a man, in some type of green and purple suit flying on some type of machine. "What the hell is that?"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

An orange device is thrown from his hand, a green energy glowing brighter as it neared the window, "OH my god!"

It impacts in the security room, engulfing the area in flames and laying waste to the entire room. The head of the security team was flung off his feet, his left arm and right leg blown off by the explosion and he writhes on his back in agony. His cries end as the Green goblin flies back and gleefully throws another incendiary bomb, destroying what's left and ending his misery.

The Goblin grins sadistically as he crouches on his glider, watching the flames engulf the remnants of the security room and its inhabitants, blemishing the otherwise perfect structure that laid in the heart of I-Island. He presses his earbud and says, "Let the games begin!"

Central Tower- 2nd Floor- Reception Hall

The ceremony is in full swing, with Pro heroes and high standing members of society alike all enjoying conversations and hand foods that are offered throughout the massive hall. Most of the patrons attention is drawn to one massive man, the number one hero All Might who boisterously laughs as Tony continues revealing more and more embarrassing secrets he shared with David Shield.

"—And so I'm panicking because David just told me my suit has been welded shut so the only thing he could think to do at that moment was get a blowtorch and start going to town in the area with the most opening which was coincidentally my groin."

David grumbles embarrassingly, "It's not like I had any other choice."

"If only the Board of Directors understood that when they walked in at the exact moment you were crouched down with a blow torch to my junk."

All Might nearly spits his drink out as eh desperately tries to not bust out laughing. "You're talking about the Board for I-Island?!"

David glares at the billionaire, "Yes it was."

"Oh drop the sourpuss face, I schmoozed them up afterwards and you still have your job don't you?"

"I will admit, it did lead to an unspoken rule where everyone waits until I give them permission to enter my lab so in a very sick and twisted way, I do owe you a thanks."

Tony raises his glass of water with a large grin, "And once again I've proven just how heroic I can be even when I'm not trying!"

The three Snicker with each other and turn their attention to the speaker who had just taken their stance on the podium.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to the I-Expo opening night reception. We at I-Island hope you enjoy yourselves. Now, I wonder if we can get All Might and Tony Stark up here with us! Both of whom are visiting from Japan!"

Everyone turns their attention to the Two pros and start rumbling words of encouragement, something the announcer tries to hype up. "Come on, Maybe a louder round of applause would help!" He starts clapping into the mic and everyone in the crowd joins in, getting louder by the second.

All Might waves at the crowd while grumbling through his teeth, "Really Dave? You could've warned me."

"You're the number one hero Rock of ages, people are always gonna want a piece of your action!"

"He's right All Might, as soon as people caught wind you'd be in town, this was inevitable." David concurs.

"Well then, lead the way Mr Stark."

"Don't mind if I do, big blue!"

The pair expertly maneuver through the crowd until they finally get to the stage. To which the announcer takes the mic and says, "Originally, this was to be the moment in which I would, with great honor, bestow Dr Stark with this year's Apogee Award. But," He gently lifts the trophy to All Might, "I believe it'd be much better coming from you."

Tony scrunches his eyebrows, huh that's weird. He's always been eager to hand me things himself. Not thinking much of it, All Might hand the Award to Tony Stark, posing with the camera flashes as people scramble to Immortalize the moment.

Unbeknownst to them, The announcer's smile turns sinister as he presses a small button on his watch. Tony begins to feel something small crawl on his hand and looks down to see a small triangular device with legs sitting at the base of his thumb.

"What the—AAAAAAAAAGH!"

The small device suddenly engulfs the billionaire with an electric field for 10 seconds before disappearing, to which Tony unceremoniously collapses. "Stark!"

Small glowing blue circles open up on the ground throughout the room, one of which is directly under All Might. They flash bright then shoot out in a blue rope that qraps themselves around all the pro heroes present including the Number one hero.

"The emergency restraining devices!"

"Crap!" All Might curses as he struggles to escape from his bonds.

"This is an announcement from The I-Island security system. We have received a report that an explosive device was discovered somewhere on the I-Expo grounds. I-Island will now be in high-alert mode." All over the Island, Security drones form large lines protectively, preventing any citizen from even crossing the streets, "Your safety is our top priority. Residents and tourists should return to their lodgings." In their hotel room, Tsu, and Hagakure watch the alert on their TV with a healthy amount of concern.

"I hope no one gets hurt!" Hagakure says as she invisibly bites her nails.

Tsu places a finger on her chin as she calmly reassures the two, "We'll be fine as long as we follow directions."

Anyone remaining on the street after ten minutes will be in violation of the law. As a precautionary measure, most of the main island buildings will now be sealed off. I repeat: we have received a report …"

Back in the Reception Hall, the crowd all scream in fear as the main doors open to reveal groups of armed men wearing pumpkin masks bursting into the floor with the largest of the group wearing a warped grey metal mask, "In case you haven't caught on, the Security system is under our control now."

If they weren't frightened before, they are now as above them the glass is shattered and the Green Goblin flies on his glider, purposefully getting so close to the crowd they can practically feel the heat of the engine as he passes over them, gleefully enjoying their terrified faces, fueling his cackle. He circles back up and hovers, grinning madly at the cowering crowd below.

"Hello! Good evening, Bon soir! I,' He gestures to himself dramatically, "Am the Green Goblin! And do I have a show for you!"

All Might grits his teeth as he continues to struggle against the bindings but finds himself beginning to smoke instead, signifying that he's reaching the end of his time limit. "Listen, I have no idea who you are—"

"Well of course you don't! That's the point of the mask?" He points to his face, lying of course but a little misdirection never hurt anyone.

He cackles and lowers his voice as he inches his glider closer and closer to All Might, "But I know plenty about you. Funny the things some people will reveal when we all share a common enemy."

All Might's smile falters ever more, Does he mean- Him?!

He glides back up to address the crowd, "As my esteemed colleague has informed all of you, I have full control of I-Islands entire security system. So if any of you do- gooders want to test my patience, well," He touches his gauntlet and the screens show the security drones surrounding random citizens, "These poor souls may be mistaken as dangerous, deemed necessary to take down with extreme prejudice. That means every one, including you oh so mighty All Might, are at my mercy… HehehahahahahaHAHAAA!"

All Might grits his teeth about to renew his struggle when he hears a pained groan. He looks to see Tony Stark looking paler than he did before, clutching his left arm. "Stark! What's wrong?!"

"My Arc Reactor. Whatever they hit me with busted it and now it's on reserve power. It's not gonn a last much longer unless I can get myself connected to my suit."

"Ah ah aaaahhh! That little doohickey wasn't a one off!" His finger dances over his gauntlet, "Just one more click and that accursed ticker in your chest won't mark another second! So play nice."

"I'm telling you guys something is really wrong."

"Tha'ts pretty obvious, I mean a bomb threat was just announced." Kaminari points out.

But Peter isn't having any of it, "I'm telling you it's something worse I feel the tingle!"

Gwen raises an eyebrow and takes a step back, "Excuse me?"

Peter rolls his eyes and he, Momo, and Midoriya reply at once, "Early warning sense."

"Thanks."

"Peter's right, if his spider sense is going off severely than something far worse is happening now."

Todoroki announces, I'm not getting any signal."

Peter and Gwen jump, "When did you get here?!"

"I was here the whole time."

"Oh."

"It looks like my service is completely blocked."

This prompts the rest of the class into action and they check their phones as well, their mood becomes tensed as they all realize that their phones are down too.

"The elevator isn't working either."Jiro announces as she pressed the unresponsive buttons.

"I think Parker's theory is right, this sin't the protocol for a bomb threat, it wouldn't send the entire Island on lockdown." Melissa states.

"I hate being right." Peter grumbles.

Midoriya gets an idea, "Iida? Let's go to that party."

The class rep asks, "For what reason?"

"Because that's the place we can find All Might right now." He explains.

Everyone breathes easier at the thought of the number one hero.

"Wait All Might's down there?" Uraraka asks.

"Yea and so are almost all the Pro heroes that came to visit the Island. It's probably about the safest place in this hemisphere." Gwen surmises.

Nodding Izuku asks, "Then Melissa, do you know of a way down without the need of an elevator?"

"Yeah sure. We can use the emergency stairs. That'll at least get us close." She points to the doors stationed to the right of the elevators.

"We'll follow your lead then." Izuku states.

And they do, with Iida opening the doors for the group and they all look down at the 40 or so flights of stairs below.

Mei whistles then elbows Iida with a smirk, "Guess I chose the appropriate footwear for this event then!"

He sighs, "I concede your point."

"now ladies and gentlemen, so long as you follow my commands, you'll have nothing to fear. But if anyone gets rowdy, then this well armed men might get trigger happy!" Goblin gestures to the pumpkin masked men who cock their guns.

"What're you villains after!" one hero demands but is quickly kicked in the face by Wolfram. "Shut it!"

"Tsk tsk, you're old enough to know that the polite way to ask things is with please! And it's not a what that I am after, but rather a who!"

Goblin turns his sick grin towards David Shield. All Might sees this and roars, "No! David!"

But his friend doesn't falter as he stands up with his hands raised, "What will you do if I don't go with you?"

"Then for each minute that passes someone will die! Starting with a little blondie I hear you're close too."

David grits his teeth but nods. Goblin cackles as he looks at the downed hero, "See? Cooperation! That's how it works! Wolfram, would you be so kind as to give David a tour, oh! And don't forget his assistant!"

He men are roughly taken to their feet and pushed into be grudged motion. High above them, the class of 1A come across the shattered glass ceiling, alarming them. They look down and are horrified to see the severity of the situation.

"Crap, they're all caught! And who is that guy on that glider!?" Kaminari asks.

Peter nervous as he sees the state of his mentor, looking like he's close to deaths door. But nothing beats the ice ccold feeling in his chest once he sees who his classmate is talking about. A man Green scaly skin in a purple armor like suit. He pales as he gets a flashback to what Shigaraki said at the mall. The green one. Is this him?! Izuku notices the look on Peter's face and double takes. He's seen his friend frightened before and nervous. But this, this was much worse. It was dread. All directed to who is most likely the leader of the group. Does he know him? Just as quickly as it appeared, the look is gone as Peter school his expression. "What should we do?"

Izuku grips his chin in thought, stowing away what he had witnessed for later. He snaps his finger as an idea pops into his head, "Jiro, how far can your jacks allow you to hear?"

"Depends, If I'm focused on just one specific sound then it could even be a mile." She explains.

"So that includes a person?"

Realization dawns on her face and she quickly attaches her jack to the floor. Izuku fishes his phone form his pocket and starts flashing his light in morse code to alert All Might. Once he has his attention he lets Jiro know, "Ok he knows that we're here. You ready?"

"Ready."

He flashes the camera to let All Might know that they're able to hear him. He wastes no time in explaining to him what's going on. "Some villains have taken over the tower. They have control of the security system, and everyone on this Island is now being held hostage, including the heroes who are at this party. Stark's in grave danger, they attached advice that's specifically targeting his arc reactor. It's basically running on fumes. It's dangerous get away from here as soon as you can!"

Jiro shakily retracks her jacks as she notifies everyone. "This is worse than we thought!"

"We've received All Might's orders loud and clear! He's our teacher I suggest we follow his instructions and escape this place. Otherwise, we'd be going against his will." Tenya states, trying to end the debate right then and there.

Most of the class are inclined to agree with Tenya except for a few. "But Iida there's no real way we can escape, the entire Island is on lockdown! They have control of the entire security system, any move we make they'll know!" Peter argues.

"I'm inclined to agree with Iida, we're only students. We can't fight these villains if we don't have our licenses." Momo says.

Peter gives her a stunned look. After the Hydro man debacle, he had thought that Momo had grown a similar opinion as him. He finds himself a little disappointed that she quickly reverted back. If she notices his disappointment she doesn't show it as she stays resolute.

"Our best bet is to escape and find help outside."

But Melissa counters, "That won't be so easy. The security system here exceeds even that of Tartarus prison, which is where they keep the most dangerous criminals in the world!"

Kaminari sighs as he fiddles with the laces of his shoes, "Then all we can do is sit and wait until everything's over, I guess."

Peter sucks his teeth, "I can't believe this."

Truth be told, the reason why he wants to do something is once again because of the rising guilt he's feeling. He wants to deny it, but if what he suspects is right and the Green skinned villain is the one after him along with Norman, then once again innocent people are in danger because of him. I can't let more people pay for my mistakes! But I'm not dumb enough to think I can do it all alone, I need help.

Thankfully his saving grace comes in the form of Jiro as she stands up and glowers down at Kaminari, "Are you really ok with that Kaminari?"

"What choice do we have?" he retorts.

"Don't you think we should at least try and stop them?!"

"We are students! We've barely begun training and have nearly died in each and every encounter with real life villains! We've only survived thanks to the intervention of licensed heroes!" Iida replies firmly.

Todoroki raises a unbelieving eyebrow, "Is that so?"

Tenya stumbles his words but returns with a firmness. "Yes. It is."

Todoroki scowls at his left hand, the one that commands fire. "Aren't we trying to be pros ourselves?"

Momo stammers, "W-well yes, but we're not allowed to work as heroes you know that."

He closes his fist. "Does that mean it's right to do nothing at all?"

Now unsure, "Well… it's complicated."

A pregnant silence follows before it's broken surprisingly by Izuku, "Was it complicated when the USJ was attacked?"

"That was diff—" Iida begins but he's cut off by Peter.

"It really isn't.. A supposedly secure area is suddenly attacked by villains with a way to keep All Might cornered. Seems like a re hash to me." Peter explains in support of Midoriya.

"And when—"

"Midoriya." Iida says warningly.

Izuku gulps but continues, "And when we encountered Stain, didn't we give everything we had to h-help take him down?"

Iida lets out a sharp breath from his nose. Remembering his own uncharacteristic abandonment of his duties. "We were lucky each time. What if we aren't now. Or worse, what if someone gets hurt because of us?"

That question triggers Peter's memory of the story Aizawa told him. Of a group of vigilantes interfering with a group of villains and costing the lives of 600 individuals. 600 lives lost. Because they meddled where they weren't supposed to. But isn't that what All Might told Izuku is the essence of being a hero? And what about what Mr Stark told me? There's so much good that can be done if it weren't for the shackles holding back heroes…. But what if we make a mistake and someone dies? What if someone here dies?

Peter wordlessly looks at each and everyone one of his friends as they continue to argue amongst each other, involuntarily imagining them dying in various ways for simply fighting against these villains. His knees begins to weaken and the walls start to enclose. He's panicking he realizes. He tries to regain control of his breathing when suddenly, Gwen ends all discussion.

"I can't believe this! You guys are supposed to be heroes! The entire job is about taking risks if only for the chance to help others!"

Iida tries to calm her, "The situation is much more complicated—"

"It isn't!" she almost yells.

She glares at Iida as she explains, "My father was a cop who died in the line of duty to save a child whow as caught in the middle of a fight between a hero and a villain. He saved his life at the c-cost of his own!" she fights to keep the tears from falling.

"He didn't need to involved himself because the oh so great pro hero was on the scene. But that didn't matter! He did it anyway. Because it was the right thing to do!" she ends firmly.

The class is stunned by her declaration, some feeling guilty for allowing such excuses to hinder their hearts. None more so than Peter. She's right.

"Parker?"

Peter sees Izuku staring at him curiously.

Peter gives him a sad smile. "I never told you what happened to my uncle did i?"

Momo stops forward worriedly, "Peter?"

He smiles sadly as if to say, it's ok. "… My uncle was a good man. The best I ever knew. He was good and strived to always do good. And he did his best to teach me to do the same. But… almost a year ago. I let him down. There was a clerk at a bodega that wouldn't give me a break, he was such a jerk that I got so angry and left. But he got robbed right as I left and when the robber was within my reach… I let him go."

The class share a gasp at his revelation. "I didn't think it was my problem. I didn't think I needed to involve myself, especially for someone so rude. But I regret that decision now. So badly." A single tear falls, "Because my Uncle was nearby and when he tried to stop the thief himself, the thief shot him. Like he was nothing. The man I let go, shot him like he was nothing… My inaction killed my Uncle. After that, I tried to live by his last, most important lesson he ever taught me. 'With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility.'"

He crosses his arms, trying to look stronger than he felt as he glares, "WE enrolled in UA because WE have the moral obligation to use our powers for the good of others. Everyone on this Island needs us. Now more than ever. Or else anyone who got hurt will be on us."

Everyone lost whatever fight they had left in them. Every single person present was shocked beyond belief by Peter's revelation. Now they fully understood what drove him. What pushed him into action every time. Iida himself was reminded of the pain he felt when his brother was left near dead by the hero killer. He tried to bury that pain because it lead him down a dark path. But Peter chose differently. He chose to use that pain to make himself stronger, strong enough to walk a better path. A righteous path. Momo was reminded of how she felt after fighting Hydro man, after Peter had told her about his Uncle for the first time. She remembers the resolve she had developed then. It was the moment she truly felt the calling of a hero inside her. I-I can't let the fear of failure take me over. Ever again! They all come to the same conclusion that Izuku makes known.

"I wanna help!"

"Me too Deku." Ochaco says, determined.

"You're right." Kaminari adds. With Mina rising as well,

"We have to save them."

They all continue to add in their agreement, that they would stay and fight. Peter felt like crying. Here he was once again afraid that he would be judged harshly for his past mistake and instead, they're looking at him as a source of inspiration.

The only one left was Iida. He sighs, "fine."

"YES!" Kaminari and Mina pump their fists in the air but Iida calms them.

"But we still need a plan, it's way too dangerous for us to fight the villains on our own."

Izuku quickly offers a different approach, :"then we don't. We just need to think of a way to rescue All Might everyone else at the party without facing the bad guys."

Kaminari throws up his hands, "That's easy to say, but it won't be that simple."

"I know but I still wanna try."

Gwen gasps, "The security system!" Melissa catches on.

"Yea! I know where the security system is. It's on the top floor, if we take back control of the systems then we can release all the heroes trapped in the party, including All Might!"

Momo asks, "Are you sure you'll be able to regain control?"

Melissa nods, "If they have control it means that the authentication locks and passwords will have been disabled, giving us just as much ease to restore the system ourselves. We just have to keep off the villains radar until we get to the top floor. That's all!"

"So we have a chance!" Izuku says with a grin.

"But how do we keep on the low for that long?" Jiro asks.

Gwen replies, "The security system hasn't discovered us yet. That means the villains don't know hhow it works very well."

Todoroki rubs his chin, "This could work without us ever having to face a villain."

"Let's do it!" Mina cheers.

But momo isn't so quick to cheer, "But the villains would know that the security room is the most important piece of the puzzle. It'll most likely be heavily guarded."

"If we're fast we won't have to fight them. All Might will be able to act quick enough to take them out I know it!"

Uraraka pumps her fist, "let's do this guys! If there's a chance that we can help then we have to take it or else we can never call ourselves heroes!"

The class fully commit to the plan with Peter relieved beyond words. He leans against the wall as he tries to regain his control over his emotions but Gwen approaches him. "hey Pete… that was… that was really brave telling everyone about your uncle."

"Hh, knowing that now, you sure you still wanna be friends with me?"

"Peter, you'll always be my best friend. No one could've predicted that. But you're still doing right by your uncle. You're living your life by his words and I know he couldn't be anymore proud of you."

He takes a shuddering breath in, "Thank you."

Izuku approaches him this time and Peter winces, "I'm sorry I didn't tell you."

Izuku waves it off, "I don't blame you. And I'm not gonna judge you for it at all Par—Peter. Every decision you've made since then every action, it's shown me who the real Peter Parker is. A hero."

"Right back at ya Small Might."

They share a laugh and then Peter turns serious. "There's no guarantee that we won't end up fighting villains. This'll probably get dangerous."

Izuku nods, "Peter… do you have my back?"

"Always Izuku." He replies without hesitation.

Izuku smiles, "Then that's all I need."

"What makes you so sure?"

Using Peter's own words, he replies; "Faith Parker. I have faith in you."

"tch, you cheeky bastard you."

Mei pops in, rummaging through her bookbag, "well if we're gonna all be walking into the jaws of death, you're gonna need this!"

She takes out the watch she had given Peter and his web shooters. "When did you—"

'I snuck back into your room and collected everything."

"… Why?"

She shrugs, "You were gonna help me demonstrate my babies?"

"What makes you think I'd agree?" He asks with narrowed eyes.

"You owe me remember? Now quit wasting time and suit up!"

Choosing not to argue he puts on the watch and activates the memory cloth, once again adorned in his spider suit. "That's cool!" Izuku whispers.

"Alright guys, Let's do this!"

Back in the Reception hall, All Might notices the flashing light from Izuku's phone. What?! Oh no! I recognize that look in your eyes! Don't tell me… Please! Run away!

From up above Izuku shakes his head, mentally replying, I know what you're thinking. But we have to do whatever we can to help! It'll be ok, you'll see!

He hears a weak chuckle and looks to see Tony grinning weakly, having witnessed the exchange. "an impressive lot aren't they?"

All might, despite the situation, smiles proudly.

Unbeknownst to them, Green Goblin had witnessed their exchange and he quickly activates a hologram connected to the security system, activating the cameras in the staircases. His glee turns sinister as he sees all the students there with Peter in his spider suit. "Now the fun can begin."

He presses the calm in his ear, "Gentlemen, there's some guests who need welcoming! Don't get too rough, I'll be joining in as well!"

Once reaching the 80th floor, the students, the students head to a short cut Melissa had informed them about. But Peter's Spider sense goes off and he realizes that the doors behind them are beginning to shut, "Everyone run faster!"

Todoroki decides to make things easier and freezes the doors ahead of them. Iida rushes through and uses his recipro blast to destroy a door perpendicular to them, "We can cut across through here!"

The class head through the door into a botanical like laboratory. They all stop and Izuku gapes as he asks, "What is this place?"

"It's a plant factory! They research the effects that quirks have on fauna here."

"Well isn't that," His spider sense tingles and he pushes Gwen and Kaminari out the way. With less than a second to react, Peter flips back until his head nearly touches the ground, a massive horn skidding barely a millimeter from his chest and chin, followed by a massive rhino like body that barely misses him. The Rhino skids to a stop, angry to have missed.

"you are slippery little spider." He says in a thick Russian accent.

"Bad news guys. Villain!" Kaminari points out.

His spider sense goes off again and he looks back to see Molten man drop down and nearly crush Iida beneath him if not for the Class rep having acted quick and dashing out the way.

"Make that two!" He angrily announces.

Lightning flashes as Electro appears behind Rhino, his grin accentuated by small arcs of electricity, "Make that three."

A scorpion themed armored man appears from the barged down doors Iida had just blasted down. "Make that 4."

"You kids are messing with the big league now!" Electro announces menacingly, with Rhino huffing and stomping his massive foot.

The villains have them cornered and Peter gulps, "So bad news made worse. We actually will be fighting villains!"

Authors note: I know i promised action in this chapter but I felt guilty that i took so long making this so i decided to break up the overly long chapter that was basically gonna be the rest of the Two heroes story and left it like this. So sorry that it was mostly talking but by friday I'll have the next chapter. like i said I'm changing a few things including what happens in the final boss fight. Anyway, i hope you guys enjoyed it as well as peter finally saying his famous! I intentionlly had it so that part of the class heard it as well as PEter's story because i kinda want it to cause soem division int he class before there's resolution. t'll be a fun tpoic of debate and Izuku will bring it up as well as eventually he'll catch on about the things PEter is hiding. Next chapter you'll see him interact with everyone a little more and also you'll see Momo interact with Gwen on her own as well, it'll be very much needed lol as well as a more in depth talk with Gwen about Uncle Ben's death. Izuku is defintiely gonna grow and become a symbol in this story, but in my opinion a symbol that the MHA world needs over the symbol of peace. And thanks, i am trying with my schedule! I am using green Goblin from spectacular spiderman but with a little willum dafoe sprinkled in, included the more violent insanity he displayed. Harry is definitely gonna return but not new goblin style, i wasn't exactly a fan of that look lol. You'll see though!

TheGreatGodzilla: The thing is, i'm gonna be doping some significant changes to the story towards that time so the avengers themselves won't be able to amke an appearance in that arc. Psossibly a different one but yea. Electro is in his base form for now, eventually he'll get stronger and of course his appearance will change along with it. but for now he starts in a similar look to his classic style. Doc ock is gonna be in the future fic. You'll have to wait and see the conclusion of the arc! I'll be honest, i'm not compeltely sympathetic to toga. Like i get her life was horrible but that doesn't excuse killing people. Even before she was apart of the league of villaisn they said she was a killer. It's similar to me as how Zeke Yaeger is treated. Yea he has his reason for doing ehat he does, but that doesn't excuse the glee he had in killing so many other people. It's still a terrible crime to commit and should be treated as such. Maybe she'll be rehabilitated maybe not but she still needs to seek penance in my eyes. When it coems to stains stuff itl happen in due time. You'll have to wait and see for a lot of these things, i can't go to into it without revealing too much to be honest. Im also very sorry for whats happened to your mother. the lsos of a lvoed one especially a parent is s terrible pain that i would not wish on anyone. my condolescnes, i mean it sincerely.

Just hope they don't do the whole trope where the former main protagonists end up being neglectful or terrible parents. It's honestly annoying. And yea they'll be Eri's favorite aunt and uncle!
