Sitting quietly in front of a fireplace in a richly decorated room, an old man seemed to be sleeping peacefully. Still, having no trouble unseating a crow's wingbeats, the old man moved his arm and allowed the bird to land on it.
Then opening his eyes, the man began to stroke the bird's head with one of his fingers, while asking it.
"Have you distributed all the invitations I gave you?"
The bird squealed in approval.
"Oh? So a lot of people will come to my party."
The bird let out another cry.
Immediately, the old man opened his mouth to laugh mournfully and showed the poor state of his teeth. To be honest, the rest of his body wasn't in better shape. Wrinkled to the point of looking like a mummy, the man had long white hair falling in front of his face, giving a mournful look to his extremely thin and weakened body.
Being unable to walk, he was forced to move around in a wheelchair, but even that seemed to be a messy endeavor as his skeletal hands looked like they were about to break with the slightest effort.
Behind the man, a servant was standing, while seeming to wait for his orders, just like a man, with a skull mask and being dressed like a bodyguard.
"Kamy-chan...Nodeath-kun...I hope you're ready to receive our guests."
"Of course." Assured the duo behind him, bowing.
Then, raising their faces slightly, they displayed gloomy looks, while promising him.
"It will be an unforgettable party."
Leaving their boats docked, Ace and Isuka looked around and saw many boats already docked.
"Apparently we're not the only guests." Ace remarked.
Having made a stopover on an island before coming here, the man now had his hair dyed blond, while he wore sunglasses, a leather vest and a guitar on his back.
Looking at himself again in a mirror, he declared.
"I really like this look! Maybe I'll save it for my next bounty."
" A little serious. " Isuka retorted.
Looking ahead, she stared at the sinister island where they had landed and more specifically the gloomy-looking mansion facing them.
"This mansion doesn't inspire confidence in me."
Suddenly sniffing the air, Ace felt a trickle of drool running down his chin.
"Anyway, I can smell the buffet...and it smells good."
Seeing him about to leave, Isuka holds him back, while declaring.
"Remember that no one should know who you are! And if we come across a member of the Navy who recognizes me, be sure to say that you are my new teammate."
"And what is my name?"
"Huh...Eca." Isuka replied.
"You just reversed my first name." Ace noted, smiling. "Don't worry! I'll be discreet! After all, I don't forget my main reason for being here."
Looking more serious, he assured.
"If I ever hear anyone mention Teach's name, I'll make sure he tells me everything he knows about himself."

Eventually, the duo left the harbor where their boats were before heading to the island mansion. In front of her entrance, as if waiting for them, a servant bowed to them.
"Ace-sama…It's a honor to meet you." Kamy assured.

"Did you throw that at me?" The blonde roared, pointing to the bone he was holding in his hand.
"Possible! Why?" Ace asked.
Pointing to a stain that was on the shirt he was wearing, the blond asserted.
"You threw that bone at me and look what you did! Because of you, I'm all dirty."
"Don't overdo it! It's only a small stain! Put some water on it and it will go away."
"Are you kidding me?" the blonde roared. "It's greasy! Even with soap, it won't come off! Reimburse my garment."

Seeming to be shocked, the man pointed at himself, before shouting.

Suddenly, putting his hat on his head properly, swinging his elegant cape and putting a rose between his teeth, the man struck a theatrical pose, all the while asserting.
"I am the white knight of these seas! The perfect pirate, whose beauty has no equal! I am the magnificent...Cavendish."
Behind the man, several women looked at him with eyes similar to Isuka's.
"It's Cavendish."
"Kyyyaaaaah! He's so handsome."
"I hope he turns to us."
"Are you crazy? He's so handsome I'll pass out if our eyes meet."
Hearing this, Cavendish stared at Ace, questioning him.
