Sorry for taking so long to write the Hyou arc. But I needed this arc for a few reasons.
First, I needed a way to introduce two characters into the story: Karly and Snake.
Then, I wanted to write an adventure of Ace and Isuka, before the confrontation against Teach came.
And above all, it was for the introduction of the character who will have the most important role for the sequel: Yank.
I am more late contrary to what I had planned. So, sorry for those who won't like it, but I decided not to write the G8 arc, where I didn't plan to introduce any new characters.

lying on a sofa, while he held a salad bowl filled with apples, the shinigami was eating one of the fruits, while affirming.

"Not at all." The Shinigami asserts. "I told you absolutely everything when I was spying on Kudo! Damn it! Who could have predicted that I would have to follow him in the sky? I must admit, it was really fun."
Raising several of his fingers, he assured.
"Kudo talked to Teach! Then he met Smoker! Then he went to heaven! He met Nico Robin! And now he wants to find out the secret of Void Century."
Hearing this, Light retorted.
" It's ridiculous. "
" Enough to ? "
"It would be ridiculous to leave a man like him to discover this secret! If you ask me, he has no idea what he can get, if he manages to discover the secret that the world government has been hiding since his creation. "
Seeming to be playing against himself at a game of chess, Light smiled grimly as he saw his black pawns grabbing his invisible opponent's white pawns.
"The world government is the most powerful army in this world! Otherwise, it is this organization that enforces justice and decides what is considered good or bad."
Then, the white pawn which symbolized the queen, he declared.
"The tenryubitos are at the top of this organization! They run everything and it makes me want to vomit."
Seizing this pawn, he squeezed it between his fingers, while declaring.
"It's just a bunch of noise that they think they're gods! Damn it! How can we let these idiots run the world government? I have to make them go away."
Wearing a sinister smile, he affirmed.
"The secret that the world government is trying to hide is obviously about tenryubitos! And if I manage to do it right, I'm sure I can use it to get rid of them! And when the world government will be left with no one to lead it..."
He grabbed his black king and used it to bring down the white king.
"I will be there and the world government will finally have the coveted power so that this world can finally see all the pirates disappear."
"And how are you going to find out the secret of the Void Century?" Ryuk asked. "You can't read the poneglyphs! Are you going to steal Kudo's notebook to try to decipher them?"
"Of course not." Light retorted. "On the contrary, while I'm looking for information on my own, it's smarter to let him work too! With luck, he will discover some clues that can help me! Besides, you told me that he had heart problems, right?"

"Perfect! So in that case, if he becomes a problem, I doubt anyone would be surprised to find him suddenly dead, as long as it looks like a natural death."

"Mugiwara...he has something that makes him special! Something that will make it impossible for you to predict his actions! He has something that you don't."
"Something...that I don't have?"
Suddenly, Light laughed.
"What is it? Friendship? Someone protected? Willpower? Ryuk, this is all completely cliché."
"No...what Mugiwara has is... his stupidity."

" Robin...you're not a monster. "
Facing her, a young girl with scales on the skin of her arms while her hand towards her, while flashing her a smile.

Then standing up, Robin noticed that the sun was disappearing in the distance. It had been several hours since the Merry left Skypiea. And yet, the boat had still not joined Gran Line, and continued to descend slowly towards the ocean.
"The descent is really long."
"I find it quite relaxing." Vivi affirmed. "We will certainly never have the opportunity to admire such a beautiful view! Let's try to enjoy it."
Seeming to think like her, Wiper was standing on the ship's rail. Arms crossed, the man watched the sun disappear in the distance, as he seemed to plunge into the ocean.
"It's beautiful, isn't it?" Asked Bruno, who was standing next to him. "Skypiea was a fascinating place! Nevertheless, the terrestrial world also has a lot to show you."
Remaining silent at first, Wiper seemed to admire the ocean water changing color, while the surface of the water reflected the sun.
"I have to admit that our clouds don't shine as much when the sun goes down."
Showing a slight smile, Bruno then turned to another person.
"Hey, Velvet! Join us."
Being seated at the foot of the mast, the pseudo-demoness immediately declined the offer.
"Tsss! It's just a sunset! I don't see how that's fascinating to watch."
"It's soothing." Bruno told her.
"It's boring." Velvet retorted.
Seeming to think like her, Bouffalant had adopted a lying position, while his legs were folded under his body. But as he tried to sleep, Wiper's pokemon felt annoyed, as he felt something play with his towering tuft around his neck.
"Eevee!" Raynare's pokemon cheered, as she jumped on Bouffalant's tuft, as if it were a trampoline.
Seeing his pokemon being annoyed, the Shandian ordered.
"Aneko, tell your stupid fox to stop her bullshit."
"Huh?" Raynare said simply. "Sorry, Indian! But my partner seems to be having a lot of fun! I wouldn't want to tell her to stop."
"Eevee." Her pokemon rejoiced.
"Grrrrr!" Wiper growled.
Hearing hammering noises, Bruno leaned forward a little so he could see the hull of the Merry.
"How are the repairs going?"
"Grrrr!" Usopp growled, as he had a hammer in his hand, and a rope around his waist. "It would be much faster if you came to help us."
Also nailing boards, Gin growled.
"Why is it always up to me to take care of the thankless tasks?"
Then, looking at the condition of the boat, he affirmed.
"This boat is becoming a real sieve! It's like wondering how long it can still float before it sinks. "
"Don't say that stuff." Usopp roared.
Simply dropping down to find himself under the boat, Gin inspected the keel. Suddenly, frowning, he asked.
"Usopp...are you sure the keel is okay?"
"Of course she's fine." The sniper assured. "If damaged, the Merry would be unable to float."
Hearing this, Gin looked surprised, as he looked back at the pin.
"Hey, we're done." Usopp assured him, starting to climb back up.
Hearing this, Gin preferred to put his doubts aside and decided to imitate him. However, as soon as Usopp had time to set foot on the boat's floor, he saw the galley door open. Looking angry, Sanji jumped out, while holding Heracross, who had his mouth and paws covered in honey.
"USOPP! Your cursed beetle just gobbled up some of my sugar stash! Watch him or I'll grill him."
Then, he launched Heracross towards Usopp, before turning around. However, reacting in less than a second, Heracross spread his wings and immediately turned back. Flying at high speed, he used his horn to shove Sanji before heading for the kitchen.
Nevertheless, a red ray hits his back and, before he can figure it out, the pokemon is gone, as Usopp has just called it back into his pokeball. Looking at the spherical object, Usopp confessed.
"I have no control over him! He only obeys me when I have a candy to give him! Finally, Zoro has maybe reason ! He only followed me to get easy food."
" Don't say that, Usopp-aniki. " Yosaku retorted. "A pokemon is like an animal! It always takes time to tame it."
"Really?" Usopp said skeptically. "Nevertheless, Raynare had no trouble taming her own pokemon ! It was even her pokemon who had to insist that Raynare accept her by her side."
"If it makes you feel any better, it took me five months to tame Bouffalant." Wiper told him. "Before we were enemies and I had planned to kill him! Nevertheless, during these five months, we fought, again and again, until I managed to defeat him! And during all this time, our respect to each other appeared and only got bigger! And the more that I won, I decided to make him my fighting partner."
Hearing this, Johnny and Yosaku started crying.
"What a beautiful story of friendship."
"Yes! I thought Wiper was just a motherfucker! But he actually has a heart."
"HEY!" Roared the Shandian.
Seeing the sun disappear for good and be replaced by the darkness of night, Lucy tried to see the ocean below the boat.
"Now that it's dark, we have no idea where the Merry will land! All it takes is the slightest gust of wind for us to change course, without even realizing it."
"You're right." Nodded Nami, who seemed concerned about their descent. "At the moment, we seem to be falling towards the ocean! But we could very well end our descent on an island."
"It would be so cool if we could get to Laugh Tale this way." Affirmed Usopp. "No more bothering to get tired."
" That would be so awesome. " Chopper agreed.
"It's scientifically impossible." Robin retorted. "Before we can reach Laugh Tale, we would first have to cross the border that marks the second part of the Grand Line: Red Line."
"An impossible mountain that everyone claims is impenetrable." Vivi affirmed thoughtfully. "Few people manage to get to the other side."
"I was just saying that for fun." Usopp retorted. "Do you think I'm stupid or what?"
"Speaking of stupid..."
Opening his eyes, as he lay on the ground, Zoro asked.
"Where's Luffy?"
"Immediately there was a long silence, as everyone noticed that the ship was eerily quiet. Then, finally, many began to shout.
"WHERE IS LUFFY?"
"I'm here." Confirmed a voice behind them.
"Huh?" Everyone wondered, turning around.
Immediately, everyone gave shocked looks, as they saw Luffy, standing with his arms crossed, floating in the void, about ten meters from the Merry.
"I'm…Super-Luffy." He stated, grinning.
The pirate had even hung a cape around his neck, making him look like a real hero.
"He...He flies?" Yosaku wondered.
"How does he do that?" Chopper asked.
With a single sigh, Wiper walked over to Hatterene. Seeming to concentrate, the pokemon stared at Luffy, while her eyes were blue.
Hatterene use PSYCHIC.
" From having to fight pokemons, I know every one of their attacks. " Affirmed the Shandian.
"HAHAHAHA! That's really fun." Luffy affirmed. "I really feel like I'm flying! Menma! Raynare! Join me, we're going to race."
"Tssss! Baka!" Sanji muttered, starting to walk towards the kitchen.
However, the blond suddenly stopped, as he had a strange feeling.
" Huh ? "
"A problem?" Vivi questioned, seeing him remain motionless.
"Is it me or...our descent speed is faster than before?"
"Huh?" The former princess wondered.
Feeling like the boat was moving much faster, Sanji lifted his face to the octo-balloon. Then, suddenly, he seemed to take fright.
" DAMN IT !"
"Hey, are you crazy?" Gin questioned. "Why are you screaming?"
"The balloon..." Sanji began. "It's a lot smaller than before! It's deflating."
" WHAT ? "
Also looking up, Robin affirmed.
"Now that you mention it, it's true that the octopus looks smaller than before."
"AHHHHHHHH!" Yosaku yelled. "But if it stops floating the ship, we'll..."
"How far are we from the ocean?" Johnny wanted to know, leaning over the Merry. "1 kilometer? 2 kilometers?"
"Never mind, we're still way too high." Nami stated. "At this height, the Merry risks being turned into pieces of wood if we hit the surface of the water."
"Maybe the octopus will hold out until we reach the sea." Menma said.
At that moment, the wind rushed through the pirates' hair, as they felt their feet begin to leave the floor.
" Huh ? "
Starting to descend at full speed, the Merry proved that what Sanji was saying was true. The balloon was deflating and was no longer large enough to support the weight of the boat.
"AHHHHHH! We're falling."
Quickly losing her balance, Hatterene was no longer focused enough to sustain her attack. So, as he saw the Merry begin to pull away from Luffy, he eventually felt his body regain its normal weight, and the pirate ended up falling alongside his ship.
" HAAAAAAAAAAAAA ! "
"We're going to crash! We're going to crash." Usopp shouted.
"VIVI! Do something." Nami ordered her.
"What do you want me to do?"
"Turn into a giant bird and go under the boat to break its fall."
"I don't know how to transform." Vivi retorted.
"The ocean is getting closer." Chopper frightened.
"Damn it! Why did I decide to accompany them?" Velvet asked.
Suddenly managing to regain her balance, Hatterene focused again.
Hatterene use PSYCHIC.
Immediately, the Merry was surrounded by a blue glow and suddenly, its fall began to slow.
"What...?" Wondered the pirates.
"AHHHHHHHH!" Luffy shouted, as he continued his fall.
"Luffy!" several people shouted.
However, seeing the Merry stop its fall, Luffy hastened to stretch his arm towards it and grab a railing. Stopping like that, he heaved a sigh of relief.
" Safe. "
Nevertheless, seeming to tense up, Hatterene was unable to maintain this situation for very long. The Merry was far too big for her. And the worst was the moment when the octo-balloon completely deflated and fell to the floor.
With no more help to keep the boat in the air, Hatterene's eyes stopped being blue and the boat started hurtling down the sky again.
"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Then, a few seconds later, a deafening noise was heard, as the Merry hit the surface of the water. Immediately, a large amount of salt water flew in all directions, before falling back onto the Merry. Feeling gallons of water pouring over them, the pirates clung on as best they could not to fall overboard.
Then, when calm returned, the pirates got up one by one, while noticing a miracle.
"We...are we alive?"
There was a long silence as everyone tried to figure out how they had managed to survive such a situation. Then, suddenly, Gin stood up.
"WOW! Awesome! That was an adrenaline-pumping descent."
Then he held up two fingers in the air.
"WHO'S UP TO MAKE A SECOND DOWNHILL?"
"BAKAYARO!" Several people roared.
For his part, Luffy picked up his hat, before putting it on his head, and while the octo-balloon was on his shoulder, he affirmed.
"What matters is that we are all alive! Thank you, octopus."
Feeling his legs shaking from the fall, Sanji sat on the floor, while lighting a cigarette. Looking at the sky above him, he tried in vain to see Skypiea.
"Two weeks ago, who would have imagined that we would be traveling through the sky?"
"This adventure…it was like a dream." Lucy affirmed.
" It was more of a nightmare. " Yosaku retorted. "Me, I have no desire to go back up there! Finally, our ocean is not that terrible."
Looking at Wiper, Robin assured him.
"Shandian-san…even though it was you who asked us to come with us, do you realize that you will have a hard time getting back home?"
"Tssss! I'll find a way." He affirmed.
" After all, joining Skypiea must be child's play, compared to trying to raise the dead. "
Shaking her wings, in order to dry them a little, Raynare heard Lucy ask her.
"And you Raynare? Do you finally feel like you're going back to your native land?"
"Not at all." Raynare affirmed. "After all, if this place was the true paradise, Zoro would never have been able to access it."
"She's not wrong." Usopp affirmed, shaking his head.
"OYE!" Roared the swordsman.
Then, a splash sound was heard, while Luffy had just launched the octo-balloon in the ocean.
"Thank you." The pirate shouted. "And good luck to you."
"Sayonara." Chopper said, waving his arms.
Uninterested in this, Wiper sat cross-legged, facing a puddle of seawater that had formed on the floor. And for the first time in his life, he saw what water looked like.
"So here is the water of the blue sea."
Joining his hands together, he managed to collect a little water in the palm of his hands, before starting to drink it.
"No, don't do that." Bruno wanted to stop him.
Too late. Showing a look of disgust, Wiper immediately spat out what he had in his mouth.
"Erk! That's disgusting! What does that mean? I've always been told that blue ocean water is a sacred and vital resource for you! Are you really drinking that?"
"It's salt water." Nami retorted. "We what we drink is fresh water! It's not the same thing."
"Hey, Velvet, have you ever seen water too?" Luffy questioned her.
"Tssss! Bakayaro." Velvet growled, looking away from him. "Of course I've seen water before! Do you take me for an idiot?"
Finally, getting to his feet, Sanji decided to go inside the hold.
"I'll see if the shock didn't damage our supply barrels! And Usopp..."
" Huh ? "
"If your insect returns to my kitchen, you're both dead." The cook stated, with a terrifying look.
"I…I'll be careful." Usopp assured him.
Finding himself in the hold of the boat, Sanji looked around and made sure that no leaks were visible among the barrels of drinking water or alcohol. Nevertheless, no leaks seemed to be seen. Admittedly, the barrels had changed position during the impact with the surface of the ocean, but they were still in good condition.
" It's a relief. " Affirmed the cook. "We have no idea where the island is closer to here! It's not bad to have trouble with our supplies."
Getting ready to leave, Sanji suddenly stopped, hearing strange noises. Noises similar to snoring.
"Huh?" he wondered, turning around.
Walking between the barrels, he finally stopped in front of one of them, while the snores seemed to come from inside this barrel.
"What the...?" he wondered, tapping on the lid of the barrel. "Hey, is anyone there?"
Immediately, the snoring stopped. Then, the barrel began to move slightly, while a yawn was heard. Finally, the lid of the barrel was removed, as a blond-haired man appeared.
Scratching his scalp a little, as he looked tired, Bellamy asked.
"That's it! Have we arrived?"
A kick was his only response.
