"Hey, pervert." Luffy shouted. "I had no intention of fighting today! But since you came here, we might as well settle our scores here and now! I'm going to make you regret what you did to Usopp."
"Tssss! Are you talking about Long-Nose? Hey, was it my fault he didn't protect his money properly and then came to me to get it back? I admit that his beetle and he were strong! However, no one can surpass my power! And I will prove it by pulverizing you."
" STOP ! "
Surprised, Franky almost fell from his perch when he saw Nami addressing him.
"Hey! How dare you interrupt me?" Franky roared.
"He's right." A woman with square hair suddenly roared, standing in front of the huge doors.
"No one has the right to interrupt Aniki when he starts to speak." Assured another woman, identical to the first.
"What's wrong with their hairstyle?" Yosaku wanted to know.
"I have the impression of seeing shrubs that have just been pruned." Johnny remarked.
"What did you say?" Kiwi and Mozu roared.
Ignoring them, Nami shouted in Franky's direction.
"What have you done with 200 million berries? I order you to return them to us immediately."
"Huh? Your money? I have no desire to give it back."
" What ? "
"And anyway, even if I could, it would be impossible." Franky said, with a big smile. "After all, I spent all of yesterday afternoon shopping! It's all been spent! Thank you very much, Mugiwara."
" ASSHOLE! " Nami roared. "Did you know everything we did to get this money?"
"What does that matter to me?" Franky asked. "Looting? Theft? Ransom? No matter how you collected such an amount of money, I don't forget that you are pirates! The government will never arrest me just because I stole your money! And besides, it seems you still have a lot of money with you."
Pushing his sunglasses back onto his nose, he stated.
"After I capture Mugiwara and collect the rest of your money, I will have enough money to send my guys to the best hospital for treatment and rebuild my barracks! And with the rest of the money, we're going to party to celebrate our revenge."
Hearing this, Luffy retorted.
"You're dreaming! Finally, you did well to show yourself."
" Huh ? "
"If I had left this island without kicking your ass, I would never have forgiven myself." Luffy affirmed. "And now come and fight."
Starting to smile, Franky declared.
"Certainly, your crew is far from being comprised of only cowards! Okay! To prove to you that I'm serious, I'm going to crush you! Here and now."
Then, Franky began to inhale a large amount of air. Seeing this, the people around the pirates began to flee.
"Be careful! Franky is going to fight."
"No! He's going to ruin everything."
"I don't know what's going on, but I hope someone can stop him."
For their part, remaining motionless, the pirates saw the chest grow as he filled it with air.
" FRESH FIRE ! "
Finally, huge flames came out of his mouth and shot towards the pirates.
" That ... ? "
"Flames." Yosaku feared. "He spits flames."
As frightened as he was, the yagaras began to swim at full speed and avoided being roasted in time.
"Who is this guy?" Johnny asked. " A dragon ? "
"He ate a devil fruit." Nami understood.
Seeing them flee, Franky attacked them again.
" FRESH FIRE ! "
However, more reactive than the first time, Hatterene positioned herself in front of his attack.
Hatterene use PSYBEAM.
Hitting Franky's flames, the attack caused an explosion, which surprised the man.
"Huh? A ghost?"
Hatterene use CONFUSION.
Taken by a bad feeling, Franky let himself fall from the top of the gates and plunged directly into the water of the canal.
" What ... ? "
"Did he jump?" Yosaku was surprised. "He's going to drown."
Straightening up, Velvet stated.
"One question... who tells you that this guy ate a devil fruit? I know how to swim too."
Hearing this, Nami, Johnny and Yosaku screamed.
" An immigrant ? "
Suddenly, two huge fists slammed into Nami and Johnny's boats, propelling all four people into the air.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
" GUYS ! " Shouted Luffy. " HATTERENE ! "
Hatterene use PSYCHIC.
Immediately, the four pirates felt their flight stop, while the pokemon managed to immobilize them in the air. However, Velvet immediately tried to struggle.
"I'm going to kick that fire-eater's ass."
Seeming to think like her, Luffy looked towards the water, as he saw a figure swimming around his yagara.
"Damn it! This guy can breathe fire and swim! Is he from another planet too?"
Continuing to follow Franky's figure, Luffy noticed that he didn't seem to want to get out of the water.
"Hey! What are you waiting for? Get out of the water and come fight."
at that moment, Franky's fists pulverized his boat sending his yagara flying aside. Having anticipated this attack, Luffy jumped into the air. Then, seeing Fraaky appear on the surface of the water, he targeted him.
" GUM GUM ... "
"I heard you were a resilient man." Franky stated, positioning his fist in front of him. "I can extend my arms too! STRONG RIGHT! "
Stunned, Luffy saw Franky thrust his fist towards him and hit him in the abdomen.
" ARRRRRGGGGHHHHH ! "
"LUFFY-ANIKI!" Johnny and Yosaku were scared.
"His fist?" Nami was surprised, while noting that the two parts of Franky's arm were connected by a chain.
"This guy...is he a machine?" Velvet wondered. Suddenly, Hatterene dropped them on a sidewalk, before flying towards Franky.
Hatteren use MAGICAL LEAF.
Seeing the attack coming towards him, Franky targeted it.
" BEANS LEFT ! "
Acting like a machine gun, his arm ejected several projectiles which exploded as they collided with Hatterene's attacks, causing a cloud of smoke. Taking advantage of this, Hatterene flew inside the smoke, before appearing in front of Franky.
Hatterene use BRUTAL SWING.
Hit on the top of his head, Franky felt his body sink into the water. Yet, remaining conscious, he let himself fall until his feet touched the bottom of the canal. Then, bending his legs, he exerted enormous pressure on his toes, before projecting himself upwards.
Swimming at full speed, he propelled himself like a missile, before emerging from the water. Seeming to anticipate his move, Hatterne had already prepared her attack.
Hatterene use MAGICAL LEAF.
The attack hit Franky. However, screaming at the top of his lungs, the man removed the skin from his fist, before directing it towards the pokemon.
" STRONG HAMMER ! "
Unable to dodge it, Hatterene was thrown towards the enormous doors, before crashing against them. Feeling her back hit them, Hatterene cried out in pain, before falling to the ground. Seeing this, Franky aimed his bazooka at her.
" WEAPON LEFT ! "
Immediately, a projectile came out of his arm before exploding upon hitting its target. However, Franky was surprised to see his projectile being gripped inside one hand before exploding.
" Huh ? "
Having positioned himself between Hatterene and Franky, Luffy managed to grab the projectile in his hand and make it explode using the pressure of his fingers. Then, as he let the metal debris fall to the ground, he looked up at Franky.
"Hey! I'm your opponent."
"Oh? I have a feeling this runt is going to give me more trouble than I expected."
Then, swimming to the bank, he emerged from the water, before cracking the muscles in his neck.
"I'm sure you've never seen anyone like me, have you? To explain everything to you, I'm a man who modified his own body."
Separating his arm again, he affirmed.
"I'm a cyborg."
Walking around the city alone, Gin was eating a rice ball. Walking silently, he had no trouble seeing some people panicking over the assassination attempt on Iceberg. Then, little by little, many more were becoming restless, while they seemed to be moving.
"Quick! We must take refuge in the upper part of the island."
"Do you think this year's Aqua Laguna will be strong?"
"No idea! But if we stay here! We'll be drowned."
Continuing to walk in silence, Gin ignored the people around him and eventually walked towards the rocky area of the island. And quickly, they found themselves in front of the Merry.
Lying on the floor of the boat, Usopp remained motionless, just staring at the sky. He had gotten what he wanted. He had been able to keep his precious boat. Yet he knew the price to pay was immense. But he refused to regret what he did. For him, Merry was a precious companion that he refused to abandon.
Walking towards him, Heracross felt his stomach churn as he grew hungry. Therefore, he stretched out his hands towards Usopp to ask for sweets. However, Usopp didn't move.
Insistant, the pokemon brought his hands closer to Usopp, who finally told him.
"There's no point in asking! Now that Sanji has emptied the kitchen, I don't have an ounce of sugar on me."
Despite having said this, Usopp saw Heracross's hands move even closer to his face.
" Hera ! Hera ! Hera ! "
Angry, Usopp stood up before roaring.
"Leave me alone! Do you want something to eat? Go get some somewhere else."
"HERA!" His pokemon growled.
"What? Aren't you happy? If that's the case, you can join Luffy and the others! I won't keep you! Anyway, you stay with me as long as you get candy."
Hearing this, Heracross growled again. Then, Usopp felt the pokemon's horn hit him in the face. Rolling on the floor of the boat, Usopp groaned in pain, while Heracross disappeared of his own will, into his pokeball.
Despite the fact that the pokemon seemed to be angry with him, Usopp remained lying down. He still needed time to think about what he was going to do.
" Hey ! Usopp ! "
Having shouted while standing in front of the ship, Gin had no response.
"Hey! Asshole! I know you're here! If you think I'm here to check on you and make sure you're okay, you're wrong! I remind you that I asked you for a job before 'get here! I hope you can keep your promise.'
Still no response. Noticing this, Gin growled.
" Bakayaro. "
Then, getting ready to leave, he heard a voice affirm.
"I...I'm here."
Turning around, Gin saw Usopp, who was standing on Merry. Still having bandages around him, the man appeared to be in poor condition. But at least he was still able to stand.
"Why did you come back here?"
"Just so you can do the work I asked you to do for me." Gin affirmed.
Then, reaching into his pockets, he took out some money.
"And since you're now an independent pirate, it's only right that I pay you! After all, if you want to fix Merry, you need money."
Knowing he was right, Usopp declared.
"I'm almost done with what you asked! Just bring me your tonfas so I can do some welding."
Congregating in front of the shipyard, several civilians heard clashing sounds as a fight took place among the shipwrights' equipment.
" STRONG HAMMER ! "
Hitting Luffy in the abdomen, Franky managed to eject him into the air. However, remaining conscious, Luffy stretched his arm before aiming at him.
" PISTOL ! "
Hit in the face, Franky collapsed to the ground, while his sunglasses cracked. But immediately he got back to his feet. Having grabbed onto a metal beam that was suspended above the ground, Luffy saw Franky aiming at him.
" WEAPON LEFT ! "
Jumping to dodge his attack, Luffy heard an explosion, as the attack targeted a construction machine.
"I'm not finished." Franky assured, continuing to aim at him.
Several explosions were heard, as the shipyard began to be pulverized.
"What an incredible fight." Yosaku said.
"I can't believe this guy can stand up to Luffy-aniki." Johnny said.
"Aniki is not just anyone." Kiwi retorted.
"No one in Water-7 has the slightest chance of defeating him." Mozu assured.
Running towards each other, Luffy and Franky prepared to hit each other again.
" GUM GUM GATLING ! "
" FRANKY BOXING ! "
However, suddenly arriving at them, two figures hit them with force before pulverizing them to the side.
"Huh?" The pirates and Franky's supporters were surprised.
Getting to his feet, Luffy growled.
" Who did that ? "
Then he saw two men positioning themselves in front of him.
"Mugiwara." Paulie grumbled.
"I think you need to give us some explanations." Lulu assured.
"Hey! Assholes!" Franky roared, getting to his feet. "Who do you think you are to stop our fight?"
"You'd better stay calm, Franky." Kaku advised him. "I think you've done enough damage as it is."
"Damn it! They are destroying our magnificent shipyard." Tilestone asserted.
"We have other things to worry about." Hattori retorted. "For now, our priority is to capture those who wanted to kill Iceberg-san."
Immediately, the carpenters faced Luffy.
"Mugiwara!" Luffy roared. "I can't believe you're coming here to destroy our construction site, after what you did to Iceberg-san."
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"Don't pretend you don't understand." Paulie said, starting to make ropes appear on his sleeves. "Anyway, you're going to have to come with me to Iceberg to explain to him why you wanted to kill him! ROPE ACTION !"
Immediately, one of its ropes was thrown towards Luffy before starting to strangle him.
"ARGGGGGH! I...I can't breathe."
Then, the pirate felt himself thrown into the sky.
"AHHHHHHHH!"
"This is how I punish scoundrels like you." Paulie assured, then throwing him to the ground.
However, hearing footsteps behind him, he had to jump back to avoid a kick. Having aimed at him, while having made a blade appear under her sole, Velvet growled in displeasure, seeing him move away from the trajectory of her attack.
"Who are you?" Paulie asked.
"Be careful." Kaku advised him. "She also teams up with Mugiwara."
And while Luffy finally fell to the ground, Johny and Yosaku positioned themselves in front of him, while drawing their swords.
"We are pirates too." Johnny assured.
"And we are not afraid to face you to protect Luffy-aniki." Yosaku shouted.
"Grrrr! Other pirates?" Tilestone wondered.
Hatterne use PSYBEAM.
Hitting the ground, the attack created a cloud of smoke, which covered the entire area.
"Hey! What's going on?"
Wanting to get his bearings, Tilestone was surprised to see Hatterene right in front of him.
" Huh ? "
Hatterene use CONFUSION.
Meanwhile, seeing the cloud of dust coming in their direction, Yosaku turned to Luffy.
"Quickly, Luffy-aniki! Let's take advantage of this distraction to escape."
However, a voice from the sky retorted.
"You're not going anywhere. "
Looking up, Johnny was surprised to see a bird flying in the sky.
"A…A pigeon."
Having an aerial view of the fight, Hattori appeared to give the exact position of the pirates. And the next moment, emerging from the cloud of dust, Lucci found himself in front of them.
"You won't pass." Johnny assured, directing his saber towards him.
Unfortunately, grabbing the blade with his fingers, Lucci had no trouble stopping the weapon.
"What?" Johnny was surprised.
Seeing this, Yosaku also rushed towards Lucci. However, the carpenter only had to raise his foot to hit his chin to make him step back. Feeling his feet leave the ground, Yosaku spat blood out of his mouth before collapsing to the ground.
" ARRGGGHHH ! "
" Yo ... Yosaku ! "
Getting up, Luffy saw Lulu positioning himself in front of him, before targeting him with two huge revolvers.
"Wait! I have no reason to fight you."
Ignoring his words, Lulu fired and managed to hit him in the abdomen. However, not knowing Luffy's powers, he was surprised to see his skin stretch while he managed to bounce the projectiles.
"A devil fruit."
"Damn it! Why are you doing this?"
"It's our turn to ask you that question."
Falling from the sky, Kaku walked towards Luffy while pointing his leg towards him.
"Is it because I declared your ship beyond repair?" Kaku asked, preparing to strike him.
" CONSUMING CLAW ! "
Seeing his foot being blocked by a demonic arm, Kaku directed his gaze towards Velvet, who had positioned herself between Luffy and him.
"Don't think about doing what you want." The demon growled.
Having the bad idea of meeting her gaze again, Kaku couldn't help but feel his heart beating much faster, while the young woman's face seemed to captivate him. She was very beautiful.
Ignoring this, Velvet only aimed the heel of her boot at him and managed to hit him. Thrown backwards, he fell at Lulu's feet.
"Hey! Kaku! Are you okay?"
Getting up, the carpenter could only curse his lack of concentration. But already, Velvet rushed towards him and tried to hit him again. Jumping back, Kaku could only dodge the demon's attacks, while he felt unable to respond.
Seeing this, Lulu couldn't help but said.
"Usually, Kaku is much more formidable than this."
"Don't focus on that." Paulie retorted, while the two men were now facing Luffy.
Unable to stop himself from crushing his cigar between his teeth, the man walked towards Luffy.
"You can deny it as much as you want, we know that it was you who ordered the assassination attempt on Iceberg-san! Unfortunately for you, he is still alive and he was even able to recognize the 'one of the people who tried to kill him.'
" Huh ? "
"It's Nico Robin."
Immediately Luffy's eyes widened.
" W ... What ? "
Still facing Lucci, Johnny couldn't help but turn to Paulie. "
" Sister-Robin ? "
"Robin?" Nami was surprised, who was not far from the shipyard gates.
"Tssss! It really wasn't the time for her to get us into more trouble." Velvet growled.
"Mugiwara wanted to kill Iceberg?" Franky repeated. " Seriously ? "
"Confess, Mugiwara." Paulie roared. "Tell us the truth! Did you come to Water-7 to kill Iceberg from the start! Or did you want revenge on him because your ship was beyond repair?"
" Wait ... "
But before he could say anything, Luffy dodged Lulu's sword, who affirmed.
"Dead or life! Mugiwara, you who are a criminal, you are no longer protected by the laws of this world! So, we can do what we want with you, in order to prevent you from attacking again to Iceberg-san."
But as he was about to attack Luffy again, he let out a cry of pain, feeling a tree trunk hit him in the side.
" AHHHHHHHH! " He shouted, spitting out drool.
"Lulu?" Paulie was surprised.
Then, turning around, he saw Tilestone screaming, while moving a tree trunk around him. Having his eyes completely white, he would attack anything and everything in hopes of hitting anyone around him.
"Hey! Tilestone! What are you making?"
Hearing his voice, his comrade turned towards him before roaring. Then, he threw his weapon towards Paulie who jumped into the air to dodge it.
"OYE! Have you lost your mind?"
Then he saw Hatterene, standing behind Tilestone. Stretching her appendage towards him, the pokemon created strange vibrations, which seemed to penetrate inside Tilestone's skull, in order to control his brain.
"That damn ghost again! Can she control him?"
Suddenly, a hand grabbed his leg.
"What...?" He wondered, before feeling himself being pulled down.
Hitting the ground violently, he let out a cry of pain. However, the next moment, a hand grabbed the collar of his jacket, forcing him to sit up. Positioning his face in front of hers, Luffy displayed a look filled with anger as he shouted.
"Robin is not a murderer! So I forbid you from insulting her! Do you understand me?"
