Author's Notes: Well, it's been a while, as always, an eternal thank you to all of my readers, we're almost there for the 60th chapter, and I have something special planned for it ;)
SuperLuigiFan18: Thank you! I still have my reservation about writing the smut scenes but I'm glad that you find enjoyment in them, as for Lynn... well, let's just say I don't plan on forgetting about her anytime soon, no comment on the trial though.
king Ks: It's always a joy to read your consistent feedback on each chapter, I was definitely struggling to convey Lana's breakdown with the tools available at FFnet but i'm really happy that it all worked through in the end.
Mzk: I... am beyond flattered at your kind words, you got a tear out of me, thank you so much for this review!

Chapter 59: Kids.
An alarm rings, but its target remains motionless, still wrapped in his sheets, still trying to blatantly cover his nude shame.
Lincoln Loud had a heavy night, no weird dreams, no nightmares, no, that was not it.
One cannot have dreams if one does not sleep in the first place.
The memory of last night remains intact: Lana caught them, game over, Lola exited the room in a panic, she didn't even dress up, he stood there, paralyzed, petrified, defeated.
Later on that night, Lola entered again, threw his sheet back to him, without even saying anything, without even looking back at him, she picked up her discarded costume and closed the door in a hurry, he was just watching, just waiting, for either his mom or his dad to open that door again and kick him out of the house.
That never happened, but still, he is restless, he is afraid of everything, he doesn't want to get out, he doesn't want to be seen, he doesn't want to see the disgust in everyone's faces, he doesn't want to see either of the twins.
- Lincoln!? - From the outside, the concerned voice of his eldest sister is heard.
This made him realize his own state, he needed to at least put on his classic attire, later on, he could pretend to be sick, he was certain that he looked horrible, he could use that to his advantage.
But for now, a whirlwind struck his room, as he got up in a panic to reach for his wardrobe, Lori's voice was heard again.
- Hey, is everything ok in there? - She said.
- Uhh… yeah, it's ok Lori, I'll be out in a minute! - Lincoln attempted his hardest act of an alright sounding person.
- Ok, but you literally need to come down as soon as you can, we have something for you lil' bro! - Lori exchanged her last words before retreating from the front of his room.
Lincoln was afraid, he was terrified, but he still chose to believe in his sister's up-beat tone, he got out of his room, hoping to see nobody in the hall.
His hopes turned into reality.
He took a quick breath, now, the second hardest step was ahead, he hesitated tremendously before giving up to his fate and reaching the stairs.
He went down, expecting utter chaos, he took a quick gulp, closed his eyes for a moment, then went through the last staircase, he took a breath of air, opened his eyes and…
- Son, thank you for coming, please sit with me a moment on the couch - His dad received him directly at the base of the stairs, his anxiety increased ten-fold.
The others were nowhere to be seen, there was only him and his dad sitting on the couch, the tension felt high, Lincoln was beginning to hyperventilate.
But no words were coming from the patriarch, this was becoming unbearable for the teenager.
- Uhh, dad, w-what are we doing here? - Lincoln snapped, he just wanted to get this over with, whatever had to happen.
- Sorry Lincoln, hang on just one sec, we're waiting for Lola, oh, there she is! - The father replied calmly, but got a little hyped by seeing the frame of the little girl, which was being assisted by Rita to sit besides the pair of men in the couch.
That was the chance that Lincoln had to see her again, and he was horrified, she had an unmistakable bruise on her left cheek, slightly ruining her perfect face, there seemed to be swelling on her left eye as well, and if he looked further, he was also noticing a dried up line of blood from her nose.
Just what the fuck happened last night!?
- Ok Kiddo… MY BABY! What happened to you, are you ok sweetheart!? - The father's mood took a 180º as soon as he saw the state of his precious daughter.
- Yes dad, it's ok, I was going for a glass of milk last night and fell off the stairs - Lola deflected with annoyance while looking at her mom, confirming that version of events with her.
- Oh, honey, please always tell us if you get hurt ok!? - Lynn Sr. remained concerned.
- Yes… - Lola looked to the side, avoiding Lincoln's stare, who was evidently not buying her excuse.
By now, the mood looked… weird… but not nihilistic, Lincoln was still nervous at why the two of them would get called early in the morning, but his concern for Lola's appearance was drowning out most of the anxiety.
- So what's this all about? - The confident little girl spoke again, looking at both of her parents.
- Well kids, your dad and I thought about yesterday and all of the things that you said - Rita began her speech, referring to Lola - and we realized that there's something that was missing - the mother said while reaching out for something on her purse - So… - She grabbed the object that she was searching within her purse while looking at the pair of siblings with a suspicious look.
- It's going to be a ticket out of this country - The thought ran through Lincoln's head.
- It's going to be the appointment for the psych ward - Lola thought defeated.
- MERRY CHRISTMAS! - Both the father and the mother screamed to the shock of the sibling pair in the middle of the couch, Rita was now happily holding 2 season passes for the Dairyland Amoosement Park.
*Pop*
A party balloon suddenly exploded on the back of the couch, startling the boy and the girl even further.
- SURPRISE! Hahaha, I think you two were becoming a little too comfortable with being shut-ins, hopefully we can get you to MOOOve on from that, get it? (what an udderly terrible pun Luan) - The comedian sister and her puppet came out of nowhere, now watching the pair of confused siblings from behind.
- Seriously dudes, in the name of everything rockin', let it go and roam young wild & free, don't let anything stop you now and have an awesome day together, you deserve it! - Luna appeared right after to the side of Luan, also watching the pair from above.
- Oh em gosh I can't hide any longer, my head is hurting… - Leni then rose from behind the other sisters, holding her head in discomfort, before focusing her eyes on Lincoln and Lola - But like, yeah! You guys totes deserve this, I hope you have an incredible day! - She declared with honesty.
- But, why? - Lincoln caught up to the surprise that his family had planned for them.
- I can answer that - At last, Lori appeared casually from behind the TV, walking up to the spot were the two confused kids were sitting and kneeling to see them at face-level - Lincoln, Lola, we are all extremely sorry for how we treated you two before, the whole family was afraid of you two getting a little too close and doing things that you might regret, but we can't just pretend that taking your freedom away was literally the best idea to solve this - The golfer continued looking sadly at her siblings - But now that we're back at being a family, we all just want you two to have some fun too! - She finished with enthusiasm.
- So Hop along kids, we're riding ol' Vanzilla, let's cow-ordinate our arrival - Lynn Sr. Not old enough for bad puns himself, invited his son and his daughter to the outside of the house.
- Oh, and take this please, it's a little cold outside, hide your faces well enough, we don't want those horrible people hurting you! - Rita sealed the deal by giving her children a pair of jackets, a scarf and a set of protective winter earmuffs. matching their iconic colors, orange for Lincoln and pink for Lola.
- So… how are things coming along sweetheart? - Lynn Sr. who was currently on the driving role, directed his words at the girl sitting on the right side of the second row of seats in the van.
- Uh, it's been ok dad, I guess I did manage to qualify for Pre-teen regionals… next year - Lola responded with little enthusiasm.
- That's amazing to hear cutiepie! Keep going, you're making us all proud of you! - The man behind the wheel added, still undeterred in showing emotion through his voice.
- What about you, champ, how are your magic tricks going, when are you going to perform for us? - The father directed his attention to the teenager that was sitting at the left side next to Lola.
- It's… good dad, I guess with a few more weeks I'll be able to challenge Mr. Facilier - The white haired boy answered with low emotion, but tried to at least muster a smile for his family.
- I hope you invite us all for that, we'll be supporting you on anything and everything son - Lynn Sr. replied with a compassionate face, before resuming his work at driving the pair in question to the cow-themed amusement park.
The rest of the ride went through in silence, as a sea of pending questions grew on every party involved, never to be answered, an elephant was hiding in the room, but nobody was daring enough to pinpoint it, Lincoln and Lola were both trying to disconnect from the scene by lurking on their phones, while Lynn Sr. never one for flashy technology, remained focused on the road (and the traffic Jam).
- Ok son, I trust you are now a responsible man, so please take care of your sister, I'll be back at six, got it? - The older man reached out to his only son and grabbed him by his shoulders.
- Have fun kiddos! - Were the last words that came out of his mouth before leaving the scenery with his trusted van, leaving the pair of siblings on their own, in front of the entrance to the park.
After watching Vanzilla disappear from the scene, Lincoln directed his view to the snow-covered entrance of the surprisingly functional park, thankfully, he and the companion by his side were sufficiently covered with the cold-resistance jackets and the scarf, but he still wondered just how good of an idea is it to go to an amusement park in the middle of winter.
How was it even open? He guessed the artificial ("cheese") syrupy substance that the park used in exchange of water was somehow cold-resistant? Now that he remembers, Lisa did assist the park with strategically placed heaters for all the roller-coaster attractions to prevent frost-byte incidents.
… At least the lines were not as high as you would expect for a popular amusement park in a holiday, making the experience easier.
- Well, shall we get going Lols? - Lincoln offered his hand for his precious companion to take.
- …I don't like this place - Lola ignored her brother's offering, she crossed her arms and looked to the side.
- Lola, our family gave this to us so we could just enjoy ourselves for a change - Lincoln frowned at Lola's rude approach.
- Great, so good of them to just ignore what happened and treat us like kids who don't know any better! - Lola screeched In a defensive stance.
- So you'd rather have them know the truth again? Is that so? - Lincoln continued the argument.
- I… Ughh, no, but… - Lola looked to the side - Why are they acting like this? - she said quietly
- What do you mean? - Lincoln raised an eyebrow.
- Dad didn't ask us for how we were feeling… he only cared about our achievements! - The blonde looked back into her brother's eyes - They think they can fix everything just by pretending that nothing happened, by making us look like little kids again, I never liked this stupid park, who do they think I am? Lana!? - Lola finished her sentence by stomping the ground with her foot in frustration.
- … -
- Face it Lincoln, they accept us now, because we have to act like little kids around them again, but they don't actually care about us anymore - A small tear fell from Lola's slightly swollen eye - They "trust" us on being normal again, but if you aren't then what!? - The tears kept pouring - Everything you do is suspicious, everything you feel is wrong, then they beat you, they talk you down and they abandon you, they insult everything you love, they treat you like the biggest cunt to ever walk alive, then they t-tell you how much they fucking h-hate *sniff* you - Lola finally collapsed to her knees, covering her face with her gloved hands as the impending episode of hysteria ensued.
And Lincoln, acting on instinct, fell to his knees again to surround the sorrowful princess in his arms, unwilling to let go.
- … Lana did this to you, didn't she? - Lincoln spoke softly to her ear, as the little girl continued crying non-stop, now using his chest for support, words were not coming from her mouth, but a sudden increase in the strength of her own arms as they too, surrounded the albino was enough conformation that he was right.
- Lola, I won't pretend to know what exactly happened between the two of you, but in an as long as the secret is kept, we are going to be fine, don't worry, I will not allow anything or anyone from making you feel bad again - The albino continued to speak, getting over his own fear of exposition from the tomboyish sister - And also, they may still be acting awkwardly about us, but I can tell you for sure that mom and dad still care about us Lols, and most of our sisters still love us deeply, I'm sure of it -
- They'll love us as long as we are normal - This invasive thought, however, ran through the boy's head.
Lola continued venting on her brother's chest, as the pair remained in silence for about 5 minutes under the white snowy landscape just outside of the park, not once did the boy in question stop delicately caressing the beautiful hair of the pageant prominence below him.
- … Thanks Linky, I feel much better - Lola was able to separate her head from his warm chest to look at her prince with weary, but sparkling eyes, the pain would not subside, but at least the comfort of being in her boyfriend's arms made up to fill the hole in her heart.
- Anything for my princess~ - Likewise, Lincoln's own baggy eyes filled with emotion at seeing the improved mood of his most precious sister, seeing her fragile body twitching from the cold, seeing her so defenseless in that state, seeing her adorable face of innocent gratitude, he reminded himself of his role as a big brother, she was still, after all, a very young girl.
(You fucked a kid…)
- Ok, we can go now! - Lola, now able to stand on her own, grabbed her boyfriend's hand and took the initiative at pushing themselves through the line of people.
- Woah, i thought you didn't like it? - Lincoln commented while getting dragged.
- I don't, this place smells like grated cheese and the cow-people are unbearable - Lola confirmed her stance - But~ - she then looked at Lincoln with a seductive disposition.
- I won't just waste our first real date~ -
