After reducing his travel time significantly thanks to the capsule cycle. X found himself arriving at the outskirts of East City. He wasn't sure where to start looking, but soon based on prior data it became clear. Human screams came from nearby as the air seemed thicker for a moment. His visual sensors glitched as an explosion followed by a bright light engulfed the immediate area. He felt shards of glass and metal hit his armored body to little effect. As his eyes rebooted he immediately saw the remains of a skyscraper roughly thirty feet ahead. Twenty feet above the rubble two figures laughed.

"I win Eighteen. Told you size doesn't matter if you caculate properly." Seventeen grinned as he looked at his handiwork. The whole building had sunk straight down with a twenty percent variant on the damage spread. Well within his calculated margin for error.

"Yeah whatever, math can be fun I guess. Though in the time it took you to figure that out. I could destroy four structures of similar size, like so." She spun in a circle launching eight energy blast before coming to a stop looking at her brother. Four slightly shorter towers collapsed as she smiled smugly without looking at them.

"Nice sis, but come on. We have to figure out ways to make our fun last longer. We could have wiped this planet's surface clean years ago otherwise." He sighed to himself as he looked around. He remembered those saps that fought them for awhile. After they killed Gohan the fun had become boring. He kind of missed those weaklings. Then his eyes caught a human shape of blue and white. He pointed the guy out. "Hey Eighteen we've got company."

X had been prepared for the blonde girls blast so no further harm came to him. He was a bit confused now. He had scanned both of the flying beings whIle they conversed. His data screen indicated the only functioning mechanical parts on them were nuclear level bombs in their chest. Some kind of control harness ran from there to the brain. However, whatever link it had was nonfunctional. Now if he had to fight he wasn't sure if that explosive would go off. Reguardless, he did detect some genetic manipulation at the cellular level. Some kind of horribly invasive procedure must have been utilized. His sensor data only gave him one conclusion. The were merely modified humans not machines. The moral obligation to preserve human life was now in conflict with the danger these 'Androids' presented. He needed to back off and contact Lady Bulma. Unfortunately, the black haired male spotted him before he could attempt a tactical retreat.

The blonde looked at the younger looking guy below. "Hmm not bad looking at all. Though the helmet and clothes are a bit goofy." She observed the debris still falling harmlessly strike his armor. That combined with the ash on his body gave her one conclusion. She smiled as the prospect of breaking up her monotony with a battle. "Heh Seventeen, do you think he likes to play rough?"

"I don't know sis, but I'm inclined to find out. Shall we?" In the blink of an eye the twins hovered just a few feet from the newcomer. "So tell me blue boy, are you here to play?"

X looked at the twin terrors and answered truthfully as he was programed. "I'm here to gather information on the designated 'Androids' Seventeen and Eighteen. Threat level to be determined and resolved appropriately."

The female displayed a dark smile. "Seventeen, I think this guy just threatened us. Though I find his logical honesty strangely charming. Kind of like what Doctor Gero failed to do to us." She decided a test would be fun. In a blur of movement she elbowed the newcomer thru a building. After the structure collapsed on top of blue boy. She heard something charging up. On instinct she backed up as a ball of energy half her size blasted a hole in the rubble from underneath. The heat from it singed her clothes. "This is my favorite outfit you blue bug." In a rage she started pummeling him.

X felt the force from those blows. He was glad his body had an auto repair function. The modified woman didn't immediately crack his armor plating. However, It didn't take long for a major damage warning to pop up on his internal wellness monitor. He heard Lady Bulma's voice crackle in his ears soon after.

Light's Lab...

"X please respond I'm receiving a massive damage alert." She repeated the message two more times then cut the feed briefly on her end. "Fire Man your about to be deployed. Are you ready?"

The red Robot Master looked at the hollow missile shell as the launch sequence commenced. He gave a formal bow then answered. "Charmed Miss Briefs. It will be my honor to assist." He entered his one way vehicle with a proud swagger. The counter slowly ticked down. Unfortunately, just as it hit one a huge power surge hit the complex.

The blue haired genius looked at the blank computer screen. "What happened I thought this place had a backup generator." After a few more moments red emergency lights kicked on. None of her screens powered up. Soon a cheery male voice came over the speakers.

"Warning unknown robot with electric powers is attempting a breach! Emergency measure for the protection of priority devices imminent. Please remain calm and stay put for your safety."

Bulma smiled a little as an automated Doctor Light spoke. "No active defenses huh old man. Guess you didn't want to hurt friend or foe. Fire Man go stop our intruder."

"As you wish Miss Briefs." The temperature around the waste disposal robot increased as he took the access tunnel to the surface.

East City...

When the barrage of punches stopped. X was sent flying into a dilapidated ice rink. Two of the support pillars were taken out by his body. The communicator went dead for some reason before he could respond. He stood dusting himself off. He noticed a blue light behind him and turned. He smiled as he saw a full body hologram of his maker. Looks like he had crashed into one of his hidden upgrade locations.
