"I'm glad you found this station X. I regret that you receiving this message logically indicates. I didn't live to see you awaken. Regardless, with this upgrade your speed will increase well beyond base parameters. Though peak efficiency can only be achieved in short burst. Use this gift well."

With that the upgrade pod lost all power and became an inert metal disk on the ground. X felt the change instantly as his foot armor altered into a more white design. He tested his alteration briefly, dashing around the ruined ice rink. Suddenly, the ice shattered approximately twenty feet away from his current location. A cloud of debris covered the area as a bird like call echoed. As his warning indicator flashed, detailing an unknown ice powered robot master. As it became visible. He realized why an unmaintaned building still had solid ice on the ground.

Hidden lab...

"Sir the exposed Light upgrade pod has been accessed! Chill Penguin has awoken to defend it." A tall green armored individual was facing a shadowed figure as he spoke.

"Excellent sixteen, I knew if we were patient our last obstacle would show itself. Light was a sentimental fool. Leaving such an obvious present for this X, he spoke of. " The shorter being grinned as he rose to his feet. He looked up at his orange haired subordinate. "Well well, looks like it's time to instigate plan Zero Tolerance. Wouldn't you say?"

Aboveground: Doctor Light's base...

"Ha ha, so short one your this bases defense. Spark Mandrilla is not amused comrade. Is that torch on your head suppose to scare me." The ape like robot master raised his arms to the sky and let out a beastial howl then beat his chest with them. Electricity sparked off his armored body as he did so. Then he charged his smaller red opponent. The massive fist connected knocking his target into a nearby wall.

Fire man was surprised by the unexpected speed of the blow. The force behind it rang his bell significantly. He looked up at the larger form above him. "Well Mister Mandrilla it looks like you fancy yourself skilled in fisticuffs. Though I do wonder, have you any clue what I was built for?"

"No idea comrade, but my orders were clear. Light's lab will be nothing. As will you, for defending it short one." To add to his point he gave his foe another crushing blow.

The first generation Robot master smiled as his metal plating caved a little. The temperature around his body increased ten fold as he stood. "Well Mister Mandrilla I'm suppose to dispose of industrial grade waste. From my perspective you fit within those parameters."

"Your awfully confident for such an old model, comrade." As he prepared to strike the red robot again he realized the road under his feet was melting. With a monkey like cry of surprise he backfliped away from the river of molten asphalt. He needed to avoid getting that close again. The bulbs on his arms began filling with energy. Several balls of electricity soon launched towards the enemy.

Fire man narrowly avoided several of the dangerous orbs. Unfortunately, more came while he was avoiding the first wave. His heat resistant body reduced the damage. However, it still hurt as the energy crackled around him. He was simply too slow.

For several minutes fire and electricity was traded back and forth. Neither side was undamaged as the duel continued. At least until the older robot master had a moment of inspiration. The rocket he almost left the base in crossed his memory banks. He put his flamethrower arm behind him and ignited it with his other arm foward like a missile.

As the blow connected the shear force behind it pierced his opponents armor. Then he unleashed maximum flames into the opening, melting the newer model from the inside. His hand grasped the ape's data chip protecting it from the heat. He uploaded it to himself as he pulled out of the partially liquefied Robot Master. His body began to glow with energy as his double gear upgraded his form. He was now slightly taller and bulkier. Yellow armor had replaced the white parts of his old self as the base booted back up.

"Fire man please respond, your power output spiked dramatically." Bulma listened to the dead air for a few moments as her anxiety increased.

"Please Miss Briefs, call me Spark Fire if you do not mind." With that he took the access tunnel back down.

The blue haired scientists laughed quietly in relief over the open channel. "Roger that, Spark Fire, roger that."

East city...

"Hey Seventeen, do you think that guy's dead?" The blonde woman barely moved her head to address her brother behind her. She didn't want to take her eyes off the rubble below. She thought he was kinda cute. Since she evidently liked weird guys. She wouldn't have figured him to be so weak.

"No idea sis, though how about we make a bet about it?" Seventeen smiled as he awaited a response. 'She would probably choose blue boys survival for her side. Her taste for the weirdos was an established fact. Like that bald guy, what was his name. He thought it was Gilligan or something like that.' He smiled at the memory of shattering the fools body. His sister deserved better than that weakling.

"Maybe, though what are the odds?" As she slowly turned to face him a muffled scream came from his throat. A sword of brilliant energy was sticking out of his chest. "What the Hell?" A red armored humanoid machine had an intense look in his eye.

The black haired android quickly moved to defend his sister. "I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Doctor Gero wasn't a total moron I suppose." He released the energy forming his blade so the blood on it splattered the ground. He raised his Zero Buster and charged it. "So tell me inferior organics. Do you really think you have unlimited energy? Let's find out shall we." With that he released his fully powered up shot at the twin terrors.

Plan Zero Tolerance is now in effect...
